18 Most Bitter Breakups in Hollywood History

Some breakups are pretty amicable and the two parties remain friends. Then there's the ones that just don't go down well and both parties throw jabs at one another on social media.  It can get pretty tiring.  We've compiled a list of some of the most bitter celebrity breakups in Hollywood history below: 1. Taylor Swift & Calvin Harris Their breakup was a shocker and it obviously hurt Calvin just how quickly she moved on from him with Tom Hiddleston. 2. Johnny Depp & Amber Heard This relationship came to a conclusion when Johnny allegedly struck Amber with a cell phone. 3. Kailyn Lory & Javi Marroquin There were constant arguments between this couple on Teen Mom 2, but Javi being deployed seemed to be the final straw. 4. Madonna & Sean Penn You know your relationship isn’t going well when there’s a nickname for it. The Poison Penns was a hilarious one. 5. Jackson said you ain’t gonna put him on timeout and not suffer some consequences and repercussions! Concerned Hiker Calls Cops On Charlize Theron Due To Her Son’s Screaming Cops were called on actress Charlize Theron and her actor boo thang Sean Penn today all because Charlize’s son Jackson was raising a ruckus. According to TMZ reports : Sean Penn and Charlize Theron had their morning hike interrupted by cops Thursday … after another hiker accused them of possibly mistreating Charlize’s toddler … but we’re told cops determined they did nothing wrong … TMZ has learned. The incident went down at Vasquez Rocks in Santa Clarita, CA. Charlize and Sean were having a sunrise picnic when a female hiker with a camera stopped after she heard Charlize’s 2-year-old son Jackson screaming in a tantrum. The hiker went towards the child and started filming. We’re told Charlize told the woman not to go near Jackson, so the hiker left and called the cops and claimed something bad might have happened to the kid. We’re told the deputies quickly determined nothing happened. Jackson was just on a timeout and got really upset. The deputies concluded the timeout involved no physical contact, so they left and no action will be taken. Poor thang. We’re not sure who to feel bad for — Charlize or Jackson. AKM-GSI

‘Silver Linings Playbook’ Actor Chris Tucker Says He’s Producing His Own Stand-Up Comedy Movie

After a five-year absence from the movie business, comic Chris Tucker makes his return to the big screen this weekend in   a quasi-dramatic role in David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook . But he’s not leaving comedy behind.  At the New York premiere party for the film on Monday night, Tucker told me that he’s producing a film of his stand-up act. At the party, which took place in the lobby of the Royalton hotel and its restaurant Forty Four and drew Silver Linings cast members Robert De Niro , Bradley Cooper , Jacki Weaver, Julia Stiles and Russell, Tucker told me that one of the reasons he hasn’t been in a movie for so long is that “I wanted to go back and do stand-up.”   When I asked if a TV special would result, he explained that he’d just shot a “stand-up movie” over the weekend in Atlanta, Ga.  “We don’t have a name for it yet, but it’s a movie like Eddie Murphy’s Raw and Delirious ,” he said.  The Rush Hour 3   actor said that he was producing the picture himself and that it’s “coming out early next year.” In Silver Linings Playbook , Tucker plays Danny, a friend of Bradley Cooper’s character, and a former mental institution patient. THG Presents: Great Moments in Celebrity-Paparazzi Fights

Justin Bieber’s alleged attack on a member of the paparazzi – who accuses him of roughing him up and leaving him in need of medical attention – is clearly BS. Can you see Justin Bieber roughing someone up? Seriously? That’s beside the point, though. Whatever happened, Biebs’ altercation is just the latest in a long string of tense run-ins between stars and the media who cover the celebrity gossip we crave. Here’s a look back at seven of the most memorable: Bald Britney Spears Attacks Paparazzi 1. Britney Spears : After a downward spiral that saw her shave her head, file for divorce and deliver her second child in the span of a year, Spears suffered a meltdown in February 2007 that saw her violently attack a paparazzo’s car with an umbrella: 2. Russell Brand : Katy Perry’s ex recently gave a whole new meaning to the term “dropped call” as he grabbed a photographer’s iPhone and flung it through a nearby window. Brand later turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest. 3. Kanye West : The rapper racked up three misdemeanor charges in 2008 after he was arrested for allegedly wrestling with a photographer at LAX, grabbing his camera and smashing it on the floor. The charges were eventually dropped. 4. Alec Baldwin . The actor, whose fiery temper has led to some nasty public incidents, was actually placed under citizen’s arrest in 1995 after he allegedly punched a cameraman and broke his nose. A jury determined that he had acted in self-defense. The comedian later joked, “Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory .” 5. Sean Penn : The two-time Oscar winner reportedly found a photographer in his hotel bedroom in China and dangled him from the ninth-floor balcony. Penn, never one to hold back, was reportedly charged with attempted murder for that charade but fled the country before authorities could nab him. 6. Lindsay Lohan : Driving over a paparazzo’s foot is just one entry on her laundry list of legal woes. Some people simply should not drive cars. 7. Bieber . Just by getting in the guy’s grill, Justin earned our respect.

Facebook IPO: Stock Falters, Still Raises $16 Billion

Call it the most disappointing $16 billion raised in investment history. Facebook stock is off to a rocky start after its highly anticipated initial public offering (IPO), jumping more than 10 percent in the first few minutes of trading before sellers swept into the market and that gain evaporated. “The stock is trading right at the IPO price ,” one expert told the L.A. Times. “They didn’t want that in a million years. A traditional IPO is up 10% or 15%.” The stock most recently hovered at about $40, only $2 above what shares were priced at late Thursday. Shares touched $38 multiple times during trading. Investors also had to deal with a nearly three-hour delay for the stock to open. The Nasdaq kept the stock halted as it processed a crush of buy and sell orders. The inauspicious opening after the Facebook IPO suggests that retail investors paid close attention to reports of soft financials and big selling by insiders. Still, Facebook raised $16 billion in what will go down as the third-largest public offering in U.S. history and the biggest ever for a technology company. Could be worse, right? Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg rang the Nasdaq opening bell from company headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif. Eduardo Saverin , one of the company’s co-founders, made news this week by giving up U.S. citizenship as a means of limiting his tax liability.

Sean Penn Rips "The Whole F–king World" For Abandoning Haiti

Sean Penn isn’t a fan of us right now. Or you, or anyone else. On Friday at the Cannes Film Festival, the actor-activist slammed the media and public for abandoning Haiti after the devastating earthquake in 2010. “It’s not only celebrities who went for a day,” Penn told reporters of his perceived injustice. “It’s the whole f–king world. It’s all of you. The reason we have ‘Haiti fatigue’ is because there was never a commitment in the first place.” A vocal proponent of humanitarian aid, Penn also called upon President Barack Obama to meet with Haiti’s newly elected president Michel Joseph Martelly. “It’s time our elegant, formidable president stood side by side [with Martelly],” he said. The outspoken actor was part of a news conference with Petra Nemcova and director Paul Haggis, all of whom work with nonprofit organizations in Haiti. The trio joined forces for a benefit for the country at the famed cinema gathering. [Photo: WENN.com]

Right-Winger Mostly Succeeds in Complimenting Sean Penn

“Sean Penn is an outstanding director and I’m betting he gets the best performance we’ve seen from Robert De Niro in 15 years. Watching De Niro overact in the tradition of his pal Al Pacino has been more than a little heartbreaking. But Penn was able to direct scenery-chewer Jack Nicholson into one of his best performances in The Pledge , a near-masterpiece everyone should see regardless of your personal feelings about Penn. No doubt, Sean Penn is an asshole, but he’s an asshole capable of telling superb, character-driven stories that stay with you long after the lights come up.” Well, it’s something . [ Big Hollywood ]
