Cristy Caserta, a woman who vied for the heart of Brad Womack on The Bachelor Season 15, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday after suffering an apparent seizure. She was 38 years old. According to law enforcement officials, per TMZ, Caserta was attending a class at a school in Sunrise, Florida when she suddenly fell forward at the desk where she was sitting. Her alarmed classmates quickly dialed 911. Tragically, however, Caserta went into cardiac arrest as the paramedics arrived and administered CPR. She was transported to nearby Westside Regional Medical Center … where they continued efforts to save her, but it was too late. She was pronounced dead not long after her arrival. The police have said they don’t suspect foul play and that no drugs were found in Caserta’s system. An autopsy will be performed Friday to determine the official cause of death. This is what the Sunrise Police Department in Florida said about Caserta, who worked as an attorney: “The students around her noticed her coffee fell to the ground and thought maybe she fell asleep, but she was unresponsive when they approached her. “They called 911, and Fire Rescue showed up and started CPR and she was still unresponsive.” As mentioned above, Caserta was featured on Womack’s second season as The Bachelor. She was sent home during the first week. Stephen Carbone, the blogger behind the Bachelor spoilers site Reality Steve, paid tribute to Caserta on Thursday night, writing: “Sick to my stomach to see that Cristy Caserta from Brad Womack’s 2nd season has suddenly passed away. “Cristy was always there to give me legal advice in the past. I’m at a loss after seeing people post on her FB. Just spoke a couple weeks ago. RIP my friend.” In January, Caserta started a job working as a corporate lawyer for a healthcare staffing agency in Sunrise. She had worked as a lawyer at a different company during her time on The Bachelor and was granted leave to appear on the series. Alex Wong/Getty Images Woman Claims She Was Served Cleaning Solution At Chick-fil-A An Atlanta woman is claiming that she suffered severe intestinal issues after she was served cleaning solution instead of coffee. According to a lawsuit filed in Fulton County State Court a customer was served the contaminated drink at a Stockbridge location in March. The woman in question alleges that an employee poured the customer’s refill from a pitcher that was filled with cleaning solution. “It didn’t take long for our client to realize something was wrong with the coffee and she quickly informed the Chick-fil-A employees,” Peavy Law paralegal Corinne Anderson said. “Not long after unknowingly ingesting the cleaning solution (Urnex/TABZ), she started having intestinal issues and discomfort in her throat, and started seeing gastroenterologists.” The plaintiff wants her more than $3,890 medical bills paid. The lawsuit also alleges that Chick-fil-A “has admitted an employee gave the Plaintiff a drink that was contaminated with cleaning solution.”
Source: FRANCOIS GUILLOT / Getty If you haven’t heard of Boston Dynamics (BD) by now, you better wake up and smell the coffee. The company behind some of the most jaw-dropping technology is paving the way for robots, and soon humans will have to decide our place as a, shall I say, less inclined species. Just yesterday BD released a video of their robot Atlas having a nice jog on a lovely spring morning. Oh, and just in case you missed it, Atlas can do backflips too. Can you do a backflip??? Along with all the human-like motor functions robots are gaining, top that with artificial intelligence like Siri and human facial expressions like Sophia the robot, and you basically have your next jogging buddy. Don’t act like Siri isn’t already mastering the art of shade and clapbacks. Soon, robots will become so sophisticated they’ll have their own culture, complete with music and hot new dance trends. Terms like “doing the robot” will be seen as cultural appropriation, and the bots will pump out their own leaders with Patagonia vests and Twitter hashtags. And for all the “bad seeds” in the bunch, an all out war could pop off complete with “Autobots” and transformer cars . But maybe I’m getting a little too ahead of myself. They could just be trying to live their life. Only time will tell. But for whatever’s coming, one thing is for certain… You better be ready.

For some reason (or many reasons, most of them invented), certain “fans” of Little People, Big World like to take aim at Amy Roloff. Usually, it’s for nothing more than imagined misdeeds. This time … well, they’re not imagining anything. The Little People, Big World matriarch definitely staged a photo op with her previously estranged son, family black sheep Jacob Roloff. And she used the otherwise endearing photo to … sell bread . As we all remember, Jacob Roloff has been taking baby steps towards repairing his relationship with his siblings and parents. And while it looks like Jacob Roloff and Audrey Roloff still don’t see eye-to-eye (and, quite frankly, may never), he’s definitely been bonding with his family. Particularly with his mom. They’ve shared some of their touching moments over social media over the past several months, which has been great to see. But this particular photo isn’t sitting too well with fans: On the surface, Amy and her youngest son are just eating side by side at the table. Okay, with some very prominently displayed bread. Like, remember the old timey food pyramid and how like a quarter of what you were supposed to ingest was bread? This is that amount of bread. Amy’s caption raised some eyebrows when she wrote: “I just love when I get to hang out w/ my youngest son Jacob.” Sweet … and totally innocuous. So far. Then she writes: “Even more so when having some of Amy Roloff’s Little Kitchen Snickerdoodle Bread, Coffee, and hearing all about his Iceland trip w/ Isabel.” That’s … that’s such awkward, cringe-worthy product placement that most movies would turn down the money for it. “What a blast! Check out my January bread and other offerings at www.amyjroloff.com and Order some today! Enjoy! ” Don’t even get us started on her ridiculous tags at the end of the caption, which included the following tags: “#snickerdoodle #amyroloffslittlekitchen #amyssecondactcontinues .#lovetocookandbake #mylittlekitchen @AmyRoloffsLittleKitchen” Honestly, and we don’t say this to be mean, but it’s possible that Amy Roloff doesn’t know how tagging on Instagram works. If you take a group photo and somebody says “tag me,” it means, like, on the photo. Like Facebook tagging has worked since not long after Hurricane Katrina. The issue, of course, was that it seemed wildly disingenuous to a number of fans for Amy to turn what looks like a normal social gathering into a painfully awkward commercial for bread. Especially considering the reason that Jacob parted ways with his family in the first place. A couple of years ago, Jacob Roloff decided that he didn’t want to be on Little People, Big World anymore. In fact, he didn’t want to be around his family. He had a number of issues with his family – normal teen angst, combined with some very real grievances about how he was raised. Not everybody likes growing up on a farm. And the agnostic Roloff didn’t like being raised with zero religious choices , either. The final straw was the show, which he blasted as “phony” when he departed. If Jacob doesn’t like phony shows, how does he feel about staged get-togethers with mom? Clearly he agreed to it — sometimes it’s hard to say “no” to mom — but fans really let Amy have it in the comments. “I love my son but i also love my bread…both of which are for sale,” parodied one fan. “Can you ever take a picture without selling your expensive products. You are tooooo commercial!” This one sounded less like hate and more like feedback. “It’s awesome to see the 2 of you together, but does everything have to be a commercial?” That one’s definitely said lovingly. There were plenty of nice comments, too, and others defending Amy. Even Jacob stepped in to speak up for his mother, writing: ” I’ve actually never said filming ruined my childhood, only that it (obviously?) had, and continues to hold, a massive impact on my person now.” “In any case,” he adds, “being rude about a thing you want to change won’t do anything in the end – so please cool it, my moms bread is dank (that means good). ” Of course, not everyone likes Jacob, either. One commenter wrote in response: “He’s a little juvenile delinquent hates his family sorry SNOWFLAKE if you don’t like my post truth hurts” Our takeaway? People who leave internet comments can sometimes be nasty people who say cruel things that they’d never say in person. Groundbreaking stuff. View Slideshow: Little People, Big World Fans DRAG Amy & Jacob Roloff Again … Why? It’s crystal clear that Jacob is fine with helping his mom sell bread, and more importantly, he values their relationship. He’s trying to repair his bond with his family. So let’s not create additional problems where there aren’t any, okay? It’s bad enough that some fans want Jacob to cut his (great!) hair. Now you want him to cut ties with his mom again? Chill, everyone. Just chill. View Slideshow: Jacob Roloff: What You Don’t Know About the Little People, Big World Star
M arc Lamont Hill , a noted figure in academia and on the media circuit, will become a businessman with the launch on Monday of his new coffee shop and bookstore in Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Tribune reported “Coffee is a booming industry even if books are tougher. I developed a business model that presumes that Black people do read, that Black people will support a Black business but also that is tapped into a booming coffee market. Coffee is another thing that brings people together,” he said, commenting on his business plan. The professor recalled that his uncle, who died in 1994, introduced him to a wide range of Black literature and magazines that he didn’t encounter in school—all the while stimulating his nephew’s young mind about issues on race. His uncle’s home “was the first place that kind of opened up to me the idea of literacy being an expression of who we are as Black people,” the social commentator told the news outlet. Their numbers are declining—now at fewer than 60—even though there’s a resurgence of independent booksellers, according to Publishers Weekly . Hill lamented that only several dozen Black-owned bookstore remain out of the hundreds that once existed. He hopes that Uncle Bobbie’s contributes to reversing that trend. In addition to serving coffee and offering some of the best book titles, Hill plans also to host free author reading, youth poetry slams and film screenings. As previously reported, Roy Moore has been accused of child molestation . The Alabama Senate candidate reportedly made sexual advances toward a 14-year old back when he was 32 years old. The Washington Post spoke to 30 sources for this bombshell story and has stood by every detail, despite threats of a lawsuit from Moore and a few harsh words from his supporters. One of those supporters, of course, is Sean Hannity. The Fox News host has gone to extreme lengths to attempt and explain why Moore's alleged actions really aren't a big deal, much to the shock and outrage of those who do think pedophilia ought to disqualify one from public office. In response to Hannity's support for Moore, Keurig is among the companies that has stopped advertising on the conservative host's talk show. And, as you're about to find out, loyal Hannity viewers have certain feelings about this decision… 1. Excuse Us, Keurig? The official Twitter account for this coffee maching responded to a concerned user by saying it has pulled its support for Hannity. 2. And From There? Well, the #MAGA floodgates opened wide, with various Fox News viewers finding unique ways to destroy their Keurig machines over the Internet. 3. Pulling an Office Space If you haven’t seen Office Space… what is wrong with you?!? Go rent Office Space! Also, this means the guy is about to use a hammer and other tools to break his Keurig into many pieces. 4. A Couple Quick Points to Make: 1. LOL. No liberal is “offended” by the destruction of a Keurig. 2. You can’t boycott a product you already purchased. 5. Deplorables Unite! It will be ironic when these people are too tired to go vote in the 2018 mid-term elections. 6. Liberals are SO Offended Or… you know, not. View Slideshow
It’s been over a week now since Kailyn Lowry gave birth to her third child, and there’s still so much we don’t know about the whole situation! Like, we don’t even know the kid’s name. But, lucky for us, Kailyn is on a reality show — a reality show about being a mother, no less — so we’re not completely in the dark here. We know that she gave birth at 3:00 AM on August 5th, and that it was less than two hours from the time her water broke till the time her son was born. And thanks to some photos she was kind enough to share on social media, we know that the baby is just as precious as her other sons . We also know, thanks to a new interview with In Touch, that Kailyn’s ex-husband and the father of her second child, Javi Marroquin, is actually pretty cool with the whole thing. “Lincoln knows he has a new baby brother,” he explains . “Like all kids, they are excited to have a new sibling.” “I have to remember to say ‘brothers’ now instead of just Isaac.” Javi also says that “Whatever issues Kail and I had cannot impact Linc’s relationship with his new brother. So I do make him excited about it.” While we still don’t know how Kailyn’s third baby daddy, Chris Lopez, is going to do with this new baby , it’s nice to know that she chose amazing men to father her first two children, right? We should have known that even though Javi and Kailyn’s relationship has been extremely volatile since they filed for divorce, he’d put that all aside for the kids — even Baby Lo. After all, he still spends time with Isaac even though at this point he’s technically just his ex-stepfather. Oh, but back to the interview — remember the thing about how Javi could legally be considered the father of Kailyn’s baby ? As a lawyer explained it to In Touch, “Delaware law states that the ex-husband is presumed the father of a child if the child is born less than 300 days after the divorce.” We still don’t know the exact date that the divorce was finalized, but we do know it happened sometime in November or early December. Meaning that since the baby was born on August 5th … well, it sounds a little too close to call. However, Javi says “Everything should be taken care of on the legalities of the new baby, I’m pretty sure.” He doesn’t sound super confident, does he? But thanks to a recent interview from Kailyn, we do know that she was able to list Chris as the baby’s father on the birth certificate, so hopefully they really have worked everything out. Precious little Baby Lo doesn’t need any more drama in his life than he already has, that’s for sure. View Slideshow: Teen Mom Dads, Husbands & Boyfriends Ranked: Who’s #1?!
