Jacob Roloff: Little People, Big World is SO FAKE!

Jacob Roloff is not a huge fan of Little People, Big World. We know that because he’s made it ridiculously, astoundingly clear ever since he quit the show. Jacob dislikes his family’s show so much that after he quit, he also cut contact with his parents and his siblings for a long time. Thankfully, he’s mended his relationships with the rest of the Roloffs — he’s said as much, and we know it for sure thanks to his adorable presence at Molly’s wedding last weekend . But still, his hatred for the show remains. In some new excerpts from his very first book, Verbing, he explains some of the issues he has with Little People, Big World. In one section, he writes “The first few years of doing this show were pretty alright, just a few (dozen) extra people around the house and farm.” “The actual filming in that beginning period was subject to the events unfolding, that is, something happened then the cameras came running.” But then, “After the few first years of testing the waters, the whole process did a sort of flip where events became subject to the filming, that is, became more orchestrated than spontaneous, in a weird indistinguishable mix.” “That phase went on for a while, too, until turning into the dominantly orchestrated ordeal it is today.” This part isn’t really anything we haven’t heard before — we know his main issue with the show is that he believes it’s too staged. He feels so strongly about the issue that in a rant he made on Instagram last year, he even said that “The family that is filmed is not my family.” They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself.” But in these new excerpts from Jacob’s book, he delves a little deeper into the issue. “Chief and simply, it forced me to grow up faster than normal (whatever a normal rate may be),” he writes. “Doing on the fly interviews and formal ones alike forced me to answer certain questions about myself, my family and my life that I normally might not have wondered about for some years.” Sounds pretty tough, right? Especially when you think about how young Jacob was when he was on the show. “One the one hand,” he explains, “I’m stuck in front of a lens, symbolizing the millions of people that watch(ed) our show, left to my own devices of coping and getting attention that usually panned out great for The Brass in L.A.” “On the other hand, instantly, it forced me to evolve mentally way faster than I would have, I think, under circumstances of less pressure.” So it sounds like he’s coming to terms with the whole thing — and thank goodness, right? Will you be picking up his book?

Audrey Roloff Has a Major Announcement to Make

Audrey Roloff has made a few controversial statements over the years. Remember when she likened marriage to war , writing that entering this union is akin to stepping on to a “battlefield?” Explained the Little People, Big World star at the time: “What are you doing to protect your marriage against the dangers of, porn, workaholism, worry, pride, stress, fear, loss, addiction, comparison, social media, emotional cheating, that girl at the gym, in-laws, hormones, or idolizing your kids?” In giant, bold font, Roloff added about a year ago: TO WIN A WAR, YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOU’RE IN ONE. A few months later, Roloff recommended reciting one’s wedding vows while having sex (with the person to whom you originally said the vows, we presume.) Audrey said she did this on her honeymoon with husband Jeremy and it was, like, the most “intimate” thing ever. And eventually it led to Audrey getting pregnant, so there must be something behind the unconventional idea. The couple is expecting its first child this summer. Here’s a look at the reality star’s very pregnant belly, courtesy of her Instagram account: Late last week, meanwhile, Audrey came out with another set of remarks that may have taken a few fans aback. But while these did center on her marriage, they did not involve any kind of unusual sex advice. Instead, Audrey wrote on social media that she and Jeremy have… moved! They’ve decided to be closer to be family by buying a home in Portland! “We are officially homeowners!!!! What a day, week, and month it’s been,” the 25-year-old wrote as a caption to the following image, adding: “C-R-A-Z-Y. But today was move-in day, and we are thankful and excited for new beginnings… in more ways that one.” Audrey and Jeremy previously resided in Bend, Oregon, about three-and-a-half hours away from any family members. On a recent episode of their family’s smash hit TLC series, the two sat down in their kitchen and talked about their future options, most notable where they wanted to raise their own family. They said at the time (see the clip above) that they were content living in Bend, yet Audrey’s pregnancy quickly changed their viewpoint. “I’m more inclined to raise a family closer to the farm and our families cause I thought that was always what we wanted,” Audrey told Jeremy. However, Jeremy was concerned that moving to the Portland area would be awkward and challenging, considering Amy and Matt Roloff are now divorced. Moreover, the stars of Little People, Big World are involved in relationships with other people: Amy is dating someone named Chris Marek and Matt is with his Caryn Chandler. Jeremy explained that it’s uncomfortable for him as their son to be around that type of environment. “It’s a broken family,” he sadly said. So, what convinced him to make the move? A desire for his child to grow up close to his twin brother Zach’s child. (Zach and his wife Tori just recently welcomed their first baby into the world, a boy named Jackson.) Pretty sweet, right? Despite a few scandals having hit this family over the past few months, including Jacob Roloff constantly slamming his relatives , it’s nice to see Jeremy keeping his impending child in mind here and doing what’s best for the little one. For the latest Little People, Big World happenings, check out last Tuesday night’s episode below! Watch Little People, Big World Season 12 Episode 4 Online UPDATE : This is what Audrey wrote on Instagram of the decision to move… Last night was out last night in our beloved Bend home… The decision to leave Bend was not made without MANY long, intense, and tearful conversations. Ultimately, Jeremy lead us in the decision to move back to Portland to be close to our families and the farm with baby girl on the way – eliminating the copious amounts of back and forth we’ve been doing over the past two years…. Moving is always hard. Not just physically, but emotionally – and not just because I’m 6 months pregnant. I have a tough time leaving places that hold so many sweet memories. I think Bend will always feel like home to us. I’m brimming with thankfulness as I reflect back on all of the ways that the Lord has provided for us, refined us, grown us, blessed us, and worked through/in us during our time in Bend. The hardest part about moving is hands down leaving our community. Our house church family in Bend is truly the most honest, generous, vulnerable, encouraging, accountable, God-fearing, spirit-lead, and Jesus loving group of people I’ve ever been given the privilege to do life with. To say our faith has been stretched and strengthened these past few years is a staggering understatement. I am torn between excitement and sadness – to be expected with such transitional times in life. Nevertheless, Jeremy and I topped off a full day of packing with some pizza on our empty bedroom floor, a tearful (on my end) illumination of the past two years, and a prayer for all that lies on the road ahead.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Recap: The Kourtney Konundrum

Last night on  Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 13 Episode 12 , Kourtney Kardashian talked candidly about life after Scott Disick. And while one would expect it would be nothing but peaches, cream and freedom, the reality star admitted that it’s been challenging at times, for reasons we never really contemplated before. Oh, and Korutney also dressed up like a firefighter. Allow us to explain… The main topic on an installment aptly titled “Decisions, Decisions” centered on how terrible Kourtney has become at making any sort of choice now that she’s a single woman. Case in point: The episode opened with Kourtney taking Kim up on an invite to New York Fashion Week. But she then called Kim at the literal last minute (the latter was already on board her private jet) to change her mind, telling her sister that she decided to stay home instead. This caused Kim to get angry (“You need, like, serious therapy. Who would do a full fitting and … not go?” she yelled over the phone) and for Kourtney to be honest about herself. “I know I’m indecisive. It’s debilitating,” she told Khloe when the siblings sat down for lunch. Vented Khloe to mother Kris Jenner later on: “Kourt doesn’t get how her lack of decision-making affects other people.” How to solve this problem? After playing a series of pranks on her oldest sister, Khloe (totally on her own, we’re sure, and totally not told to do so by producers) decided it was time to take things to the a new, unique, different sort of level. She took Kourtney to a local fire station and, along with a bunch of firefighters, tasked her indecisive sister with saving Kris from a fake fire. Because of course, right? That’s the obvious solution to this sort of problem, isn’t it? Kourtney ultimate failed in this pretend mission, but did come to a realization while speaking to her sisters. “I feel like Scott and I were very co-dependent and I just would always bounce every idea off of him,” she said, adding: “Also, I’m just living a different life now where doing more for myself is an option and now that I am able to make my own decisions, I want to make the best decisions. “Tony Robbins taught me to make decisions from the heart and not from your head … I want to start listening.” We’ll be curious to see if this lasts. And curious to see what ridiculous idea Khloe comes up with next week for a member of her family. View Slideshow: Keeping Up with the Kardashians: 13 Secrets from the Set ELSEWHERE on Sunday night, Rob Kardashian struggled with maintaining a civil relationship with Blac Chyna. If you  watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online , you know that when it comes to this overweight relative, it is literally always something. His mom and sisters never know what to do. Help out a family member who’s clearly struggling, or institute a little tough love? (Or a lot.) In this case, Kim said she supported Rob and Chyna having broken up because it’s “the best path” for the ex-lovers, despite both wanting to raise a happy and healthy daughter. Rob went to see Chyna during a photoshoot at one point, after not seeing her for quite some time, admitting to the camera that he was “nervous” about the encounter. “Chyna is acting super weird to me,” he said shortly after getting a cold shoulder from his baby mama. “There is so much awkward tension between Chyna and I. I don’t know how to act around her.” But at least the relationship has helped Rob grow close again to his mother. Following this failed attempt to reconnect with Chyna, Rob went home and talked to Kris about his hopes for both his future and, more importantly, the future of his daughter. “Everything is fine. I’m trying to be peaceful,” he said. “We just communicate really poorly. It’s all dumb. Fights … I want to have the type of relationship that you and my dad had… “It would just kill me if we didn’t have that friendship for Dream.” Finally… Kanye West made a rare appearance on the show! Despite the aforementioned snub from Kourtney, Kim still jetted to New York City and attended her husband’s fashion show, sitting next to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour in the front row. Kim also gushed about the rapper’s collection, saying: “Kanye came up with this amazing idea where the models are seen inside of this giant cube.” Sure. Absolutely. That sounds totally amazing. We guess. The star also seemed to glow with pride while watching the group of fashion models walk by in oversize hoodies and coats. Confused about what the heck this looked like and why it served as evidence of Kanye’s genius? Click on the video below to find out for yourself! Alessandra Ambrosio’s Bikini for GQ Brazil of the Day

Alessandra Ambrosio is another one of those overrated promo models who sell underwear or used to sell underwear for the billion dollar brand…that paid them well after importing them to America to live the American dream….but she’s old now…and a mom…but I guess that doesn’t stop her from showing off her new tits…semi topless for GQ Brazil…and I’m not hating anything going on here…but I will remind everyone involved that there are 1000s of hotter 21 year olds…so that we can leave the 35 year olds back home by the pool in their LA mansions…to raise their kids with their nannies…there is no need to continue encouraging them to get naked…even if they look good enough naked..they are still moms and this can’t be a good influence on other moms, or husbands.. because I know moms, I see them at the coffee shops having baby play dates…and they don’t look anything like this…so why depress anyone old enough to give a fuck about Alessandra Ambrosio with the whole “I have a multi-million dollar contract so I work out all day, when other moms actually do mom things because they aren’t underwear brand promo models”…. I just think we should retire these bitches at 27…why is the legacy of these people so much longer than it used to be…I blame social media…for not letting nature takes it’s course and let people forget them…it’s just relentless…but topless…but nippleless…we need more…not less…I mean less of her…but if you’re gonna put her out there in her last few “races”….make her fucking deliver… I don’t know why I bother writing this nonsense… The post Alessandra Ambrosio’s Bikini for GQ Brazil of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepfather .

Jana Kramer: My First Husband Tried to Kill Me!

Jana Kramer has had horrible luck with men. This much is becoming painfully obvious the more we hear from the actress and singer. The former One Tree Hill star and ongoing Dancing with the Stars contestant married Mike Claussin in May of 2015 and welcomed a baby with him in January… only to them separate from the ex-NFL player just a few months later. Via an Instagram video of herself singing along to the Carrie Underwood track “Before He Cheats,” Kramer then strongly implied that Claussin cheated on her . There’s been talk since that Claussin in a sex addict . “It’s a tough time,” Kramer told Us Weekly recently, saying of her chance to compete on Dancing with the Stars: It’s been fun to just work on me. It’s not just about dance. It’s about gaining confidence.” So that sucks a lot for Kramer. But not nearly as much as what happened to her in her first marriage. In the latest issue of People Magazine, Kramer opens up about her painful history of domestic abuse that landed first husband Michael Gambino in jail for attempted murder in 2005. “I met Mike when I was 19 at a Coffee Bean in L.A. He was a smooth-talker, very charming, intriguing and obviously older,” Kramer explains “At the time, I liked that. I felt protected.” Gambino was 36 years old at the time. The couple dated for just two weeks – yes, two weeks – before getting married in 2004. And that’s when things turned very ugly. According to Kramer, Gambino developed an abusive routine that led Kramer to sleep in her car some nights … or even hide in the bushes until he calmed down. He had a short fuse and was often jealous, she says, explaining how “he’d come home at 3 o’clock in the morning and pick me up out of bed, throw me onto the ground and start yelling and hitting.” Kramer says she hid her bruises with makeup and kept the abuse a secret from family members and friends. Finally, Kramer reached her breaking point. But Gambino wasn’t receptive. “When I said, ‘I can’t do this anymore’ he sent me a photo of my dogs on the freeway and said, ‘I’m going to let them go if you don’t come home’,” she says. “ He’d kick me out of the house, I’d sleep in the car and then that next morning I’d be with him in bed again.” On August 6, 2005, Gambino chocked Kramer to the point of unconsciousness; he left her bleeding on the gravel outside their Los Angeles residence. “I remember praying that night, ‘Please, just take me away, I don’t want to be here anymore’,” says Kramer, who has scars on her shoulder and arm from that evening. But it at least got the police involved. Gambino was convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to six years behind bars. He was released in 2010 and committed suicide two years later. To her credit, Kramer is coming forward now about this harrowing experience because she wants to serve as a role model “I’m so embarrassed and afraid no one will love me because of my past, but I’m ready to put it out there now,” she tells People. “If I can help one person, I’ll be thankful for what happened – and I can move forward.”
