Rio Olympics: NBC Makes Divers Look Naked, Internet Doesn’t Complain

On August 9th, the Men's Diving Synchronised 3m Springboard Final took place, and Great Britain won gold. Also, a strategically placed score bar made the competitors look naked.  And since they wore nothing more than a standard Speedo, it turned out to be quite the evening for viewers at home. Naturally, the internet found the whole thing funny, and Twitter was chock full of with Naked Swimming comments.   1. Hello, Boys! Just watching a bit of competition. Lady Gaga is so famous that Rolling Stone Italy is doing features on her…you know you’re really on the rise and not the decline when all your competitors are still making money, while no one gives a fuck about you, except maybe fans of American Horror Story…and Obscure market Rolling Stone, because like David Hasselhoff, some countries get into things, especially their own lineage of people, who have made it… I figure Gaga is talented enough to keep powering through…rich enough to retire…getting residuals to continue earning for the rest of her life…so that even with what she’s banked…she’ll still bring in more… I figure she’s still got fans, people still love her, and only I am grateful or hopeful of her ending…because she was a lot of flash in the pan..and that kind of shit, even when nudity is involved…annoys the fuck out of me… Either way, not sure if this is a new shoot or old shoot..but it’s a shoot.. Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia Culpo

Olivia Culpo, the 20-year-old Miss USA and former Miss Rhode Island, won the Miss Universe pageant on Wednesday night in Las Vegas, becoming the first American to do so since 1997. The Boston University sophomore outlasted 88 other competitors. Miss Philippines, Janine Tugonon, came in second, and Miss Venezuela, Irene Sofia Esser Quintero, finished third. “What an honor! This night was a dream come true. Thank you everyone for your support tonight!! USA finally did it!” Culpo wrote on Twitter

Director Uwe Boll is often accused of being a hack whose sole objective is packing his films with as much violence and nudity as possible. To which we say, so what? That’s what Mr. Skin is for! Boll recently recorded commentary for his new(ish) movie Bloodrayne: The Third Reich (2010), and according to The Onion AV Club ‘s analysis, the track doesn’t do much to dispel his breast-obsessed image. Among the choice tit-bits: “ One of the biggest sales aspects is, ‘Yes, we go for it! We do full nudity and whatever, yeah!, ” he brags, before slamming his competitors for their lack of commitment to nudity: “ Kate Beckinsale would never be acting naked in Underworld ,” and while Milla Jovovich is “ not so picky ” in the Resident Evil franchise, “ she is not doing nudity. ” [Actually, she was nude in both Resident Evil (2002) and Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004).
