Sure, the Harlem Shake looks easy. Heck, the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves can do it . But this viral trend isn’t always as safe as it appears… at least not when done around a fire and not when (we presume) a bit of alcohol is involved. Watch a few guys in Germany give the dance a shot in the following video, only for one to go down in a blaze of glory. Literally!!! Harlem Shake: Fire!
Ellen DeGeneres is famous for pranking guests, but when Dennis Quaid comes on, it’s a little different. He teams up with her and they prank strangers! This week, she had Dennis fake a series of health issues – some of which aren’t even possible – just to have fun with a nurse on set. Safe to say it worked. Dennis Quaid Prank on Ellen From lung problems to shrinking, the actor had the unassuming nurse run through a variety of utterly ridiculous tests – with Ellen’s guidance of course. The poor nurse didn’t even realize what was going on when the reveal finally came. Gotta hand it to her for remaining professional throughout all of that. This is not the first time Ellen and Dennis have teamed up for some hidden camera hijinks. Watch more of their hilarious moments in recent years below: Dennis Quaid is Here!
The studios want him, but, these, days Zac Efron only has eyes for indie film. After making a splash at the New York Film Festival with The Paperboy last fall , Efron is back in the Big Apple, at the Tribeca Film Festival, with At Any Price . What’s the deal? “Y’know, Dennis [Quaid] says that the only rule he sort of had for himself in his career is to do as many different types of movies as possible, and never stop stretching and trying something new,” Efron told when I talked to him about the project. I also talked to Quaid who said that he and At Any Price director Ramin Bahrani drew inspiration from Arthur Miller’s classic play: Death of a Salesman . “We talked about Death of a Salesman and the Willy Loman character a lot…[my character] is a man who’s really trying to do the best for his family but he’s corrupted himself in the process,” the actor told me. The buzz on At Any Price is that Efron will get you into the theater, but you’ll leave it talking about Quaid. Check out my full in-depth interview below: Follow Grace Randolph on Twitter .
