Meghan Markle Won’t Even Let Prince Harry Go Hunting

As has been well documented many times on this website and around the celebrity gossip universe, Meghan Markle just loves to break Royal Protocol . This is someone who tries to dictate her own wardrobe on her wedding day… who has often shown off her bare shoulders in public… and who had the audacity to wear dark nail polish last week . But this story is not actually about the Duchess of Sussex defying her very famous loved ones and their traditions once again. Nope, it’s a story about how she isn’t allowing her husband partake in one of these long-running traditions. You see, Markle and Prince Harry will be spending Christmas with rumored rivals Prince William and Kate Middleton. (Kensington Palace pretty much ordered this awkward arrangement to take place in order to quell chatter that the quarter does not get along in any way, shape or form.) For years and years, Harry would go out on Boxing Day morning with his sibling and other relatives to go pheasant shooting — but here’s the thing: Markle hates hunting. She hates it with a passion. She’s a big animal lover. As a result, insiders tell The Daily Mail that Markle has put her gorgeous foot down and will not allow Harry to take part in an activity that he’s done with his relatives for two decades. “‘Harry’s always loved hunting and it has provided [him and William] with a great chance to bond as brothers,” this Daily Mail source alleges , adding: “But now it looks like Harry’s shooting days are over. It’s the latest point of contention between the Princess.” Meghan’s aversion to hunting initally caused issues last year, back when Harry reportedly took part in a wild boar hunt in Germany. This stirred up a bit of tension between the stars and was the reason why Harry then bowed out of a grouse hunt at Balmoral three months ago. It’s hard not to admire Markle’s stance, of course. This has long been a passion of hers and it really does silly to just go out and shoot dead poor, innocent birds, doesn’t it? As a counter argument, however, Markle’s reputation is in tatters at the moment. She is being blamed for treating staff members poorly and for feuding with Middleton and of just b eing a spoiled, entitled American all around . All this anti-hunting stance has done is once again create negative headlines about her on the Internet. Just look at what we wrote up above! Perhaps it would have been in Meghan’s better interest to just suck it up this one time and to let Harry get out there with William and spray some bullets into a bunch of birds. It would have been viewed as an olive branch of some kind, as a way for Markle to prove that she’s flexible and does not need to always have her way. After all, Harry and her are supposedly at war with William and Kate. If some birds need to die in order for peace to be achieved, so be it, right? Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard Net Worth: Are They REALLY Broke?!

It's been almost a year since Derick Dillard was fired from Counting On after launching a bigoted social media attack against a fellow TLC star. Shortly thereafter, Jill Duggar quit the show as a gesture of solidarity. That means, of course, that Jill and Derick have two kids to raise and no visible means of support. Derick recently enrolled in law school , and while that may translate to decent earnings somewhere down the line, it still doesn't answer the question of how the Dillards are paying the bills these days. The situation has prompted several and media outlets to do some digging into the Dillards' financial situation — and we think you'll be very surprised by the results of their investigations. Take a look: 1. Jill and the Dill By all appearances, it’s been a rough couple years for Jill and Derick … and yet, the couple doesn’t appear to be struggling financially. 2. What’s Going On Here? So how is it that two young parents are able to live comfortably and assume the additional financial burden of law school tuition with no apparent difficulty? 3. Financial Planning Well, it seems Jill and Derick may have done some serious saving during their time as reality stars. 4. The Big Bucks Cast members on Counting On reportedly earn between $25,000 and $40,000 an episode. 5. Mystery Money It’s unclear where Jill fell on that scale, but since she and Jessa were once considered the stars of the show, it’s safe to assume she was pulling in 40 k. 6. Derick, on the Other Hand As a non-Duggar, however, Derick probably earned in the $25,000 range. View Slideshow

Derick Dillard Comes Clean: We’re Breaking All of Jim Bob’s Rules!

We’ve known for some time now that Derick Dillard is not Jim Bob Duggar’s favorite son-in-law. In fact, it’s been said that Jim Bob flat-out doesn’t like Derick — and frankly, it’s not hard to see why. After all, other than Josh, no one in the Duggar clan has done more to compromise the family business than Derick. The clearest evidence of Derick’s ineptitude is the fact that he got fired from Counting On  and convinced his wife, Jill Duggar, to quit the show as a gesture of solidarity. But leaving his family without a source of income was just the first in a long line of eff-ups for Derick. From there, Derick’s bigoted social media tirades continued unabated, as he attacked other TLC stars such as Jazz Jennings ad Nate Berkus in the sort or ignorant tirades for which he’s become famous. Jim Bob and company probably didn’t object to the belief system behind Derick’s unhinged rants, but the Duggars likely took issue with the public nature of his hate speech. After all, not unlike the evangelical church that seems to have served as his business model, JB built an empire that’s based on strict adherence to a set of mostly arbitrary rules. These days, Jim Bob’s offspring — particularly his daughters — are flouting his guidelines left and right, and the patriarch reportedly blames the men they married. Jinger Duggar began wearing pants in defiance of the family dress code after she was granted permission by her husband, Jeremy Vuolo. And now, Jill Duggar is allowing her kids to enjoy secular entertainment — a massive no-no in the Duggars’ world. And not surprisingly, it seems the Duggars believe Derick is squarely to blame. And it seems D-Dill may have just confirmed their suspicions on social media. Earlier this week, a fan asked Derick, “Why don’t you guys get a TV?” “How do you know we don’t have one?” Derick replied. If you’re a longtime Counting On fan, then you’re probably already aware that the Duggars grew up in a house without television. In recent months, Jill and Derick have taken flak for allowing their children access to such popular children’s characters as Peppa the Pig. That may seem like just about the most innocent thing imaginable, but the Duggars are of the belief that all children’s entertainment that all children’s entertainment should have to do with fire and brimstone. That way, kids like Henry and Spurgeon will understand why their dad is going to hell. View Slideshow: Jill Duggar’s List of Demands For Derick Dillard: Revealed, Hilarious

Derick Dillard: CAUGHT Cheating on Jill Duggar?!

The Duggar family is almost as well known for its strict code of conduct as for its massive size. Many, if not most, of the rules the Duggars and their spouses are forced to abide by have to do with their sex lives. You're probably familiar with the Duggar courtship rules that prohibit virtually all forms of premarital physical contact. But interestingly, men are granted a surprising amount of freedom once they've said “I do.” Which may be why one of the most infamous Duggar couples is still together — despite rampant rumors that Derick Dillard has been caught cheating on Jill Duggar . Here's what we know about the situation thus far: 1. Happier Times Jill and Derick got married back in 2014. In the years since, they’ve performed missionary work together in Central America and welcomed two sons. 2. Leaving the Spotlight Last year, Derick was fired from Counting On after bullying a fellow TLC star on social media. Jill quit the show as a sign of solidarity. 3. The Strain The couple was left with no source of income, a situation that reportedly placed their marriage under considerable stress. 4. The Rumors Begin It was around this time that the rumors of Derick being unfaithful to Jill first began to make their way around social media. 5. Big D on Campus Derick began doing work on college campuses as part of his church’s ministry program, and it wasn’t long before signs of inappropriate relations with female students surfaced online. 6. Caught in the Act The most damning piece of evidence was this video of Derick partying and dancing with young women with Jill nowhere in sight. View Slideshow

Jeremy Vuolo: Throwing Shade at Derick Dillard on Twitter?!

Just last month,  Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo welcomed their first child . In the weeks since, the happy couple has been doting on their daughter and gushing about little Felicity every chance they get. But that doesn’t mean they’re not making time for the truly important things, like roasting Derick Dillard’s dumb ass on social media. A little backstory is required in order to fully understand why Jeremy’s seemingly innocent tweet from Monday night is being widely interpreted as anti-Dillard shade. As you probably know, Derick was fired from Counting On after unapologetically sharing his bigoted views with the world on Twitter. And it’s not just his former bosses who have taken issue with D-Dill’s big mouth. There have been rumors that several members of the extended Duggar clan want nothing to do with Derick. And reports of a feud between Vuolo and Dillard have been especially common in recent weeks. “Jinger and I are so grateful to TLC for giving us the opportunity to share our lives with all of you!” Jeremy wrote on Twitter before Monday’s Counting On season premiere. “Tune in this Monday night — July 30th, 9/8C — for the new season of #CountingOn.” Sounds innocent enough, but it’s not hard to see why many Duggar-watchers took the remark as an extremely subtle jab at Derick. “Some Dillard shade,” wrote one fan. Another echoed the sentiment with a reluctant shoutout to Jeremy: “He’s good at throwing shade in a fundie acceptable way,” the viewer commented. “I don’t like him, but damn if it ain’t entertaining.” Dillard has made his distaste for his former home network abundantly clear in the months since he was unceremoniously kicked to the curb. He was fired for attacking fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings , and he’s since accused network execs of espousing values that run counter to everything the Duggars stand for. In that context, it’s a bit easier to see how Jeremy’s public praise for the same folks who gave Derick the ax could as smack talk. Of course, the big question now is — will Derick respond?  We sure hope so. We could really go for a heated Duggar feud. Derick Dillard: God Wants Me to Go to Law School!

Fans have roasted Derick Dillard for everything from begging for money from fans to his vitriolic attacks on trans teen Jazz Jennings , the latter of which got him fired. Now, Derick is trying to make himself respectable — even in the secular world. Folks, Derick is headed to law school . Do you want this dude as your attorney? Are you one of the cyber sleuths who noticed that Derick has been following a series of new Twitter accounts lately? If not, you’re probably better off. He’s been following Twitter accounts related to the LSAT and the Bar Exam. Which, normally, a person only does if they want to become a lawyer. A Facebook page (we would  not  characterize it as a fan site) called Duggar Family News made the  announcement . “Derick wi ll be attending The School of Law at the University of Arkansas this fall,” the post reveals. Their page has been a pretty reliable source of info on the Duggars. Coupled with Derick’s Twitter activities, it’s pretty convincing. “Derick is giving up missioning,” the page continues. “Whatever he did at Cross Church, and God, to attend a secular law school.” Obviously, the bit about giving up his faith is hyperbolic. “The cost of law school is $16,000 a year,” the page continues. “Which I assume either Jim Bob is paying for …” “Or,” the post hypothesizes. “He’s got some conservative evangelical group paying his way in hopes that if Derick actually becomes a lawyer he will be forced to work for their causes.” The post suggests that those causes might include “overturning all equal rights laws that greatly benefit deserving human beings. ” That does sound kind of harsh but, given Derick Dillard’s track record, it sounds like something that he would be interested in doing. The page openly asks: “Can Derick make it through the rigors of law school?” “The idiot,” the post continues. “Couldn’t learn Spanish after one-on-one tutoring and living in a Spanish speaking country!” Attaining true, convincing fluency takes a lot of work. But a lot of people were disappointed by Derick’s lack of progress. “He can’t follow simple rules when it comes to posting copyright images or running a fundraiser page,” the post observes. To be entirely fair, a lot of celebrities seem confused about that. Perhaps attending law school will make him more mindful. “Derick,” the post continues. “Lives in a bubble of false news and facts which will be put to the test when secular law professors get their hands on him.” Sadly, real life law school professors are rarely as exciting as they are on How To Get Away With Murder . “My bet,” the post writes. “Is that he lasts almost a year and then suddenly gets another calling from God.” “Next year,” the page predicts. “He’ll be working as a clerk at Walmart.” Duggar Family News might be a great page for leaked info, but we don’t know that we share their vision for the future. Law school may be secular, but there are a number of religious angles for a practising attorney. One, of course, is that some larger churches and religious organizations need lawyers. They can help with everything from major lawsuits to making simple arrangements. Another, as the Facebook page suggests, is that Derick might — perhaps of his own volition — work hard to combat any progress made for equal rights for certain groups. Remember, Derick Dillard says to not make cakes for gay couples . He also claims that accepting transgender children for who they are is “child abuse.” There is another possibility. Depending upon how you feel about Derick, this could be worse. For some, attending law school and even becoming a lawyer is just a means to an end — that end being a serious political career. The Duggar Family: A Timeline of Endless Weddings

The Duggar family is constantly celebrating a new engagement and then, a short time after, a new wedding and marriage. And then children. The endless, endless stream of Duggar children. Part of that is ideology — the Duggars are diehard fundamentalists who believe in strictly controlling their children, even as adults. That means strict chastity and closely monitored courtships, which help motivate their kids to walk down the aisle without pausing to ask themselves what they want out of life. But this endless series of back-to-back weddings help to keep the Duggars relevant — or close enough. Let's take a look at how many of these Duggar kids have already been married off. Who's next? 1. First we have to start with … him Josh Duggar proposed to Anna on her birthday in 2008. They apparently followed all of the courtship rules, not even kissing until their wedding date. 2. Josh and Anna married, really testing the for-better-or-for-worse vow Josh and Anna got married on September 26, 2008. And, even after it became global knowledge that Josh had molested 5 young girls, including 4 of his young sisters, they remained married. Even after everyone learned that he had cheated on Anna, they remained married. She is a prisoner of the culture in which she was raised. 3. Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Jill and Derick got engaged back in April of 2014. 4. Jill and Derick’s Wedding Jill and Derick got married on June 21 of 2014. That’s, what? A two-and-a-half month engagement? 5. Next up are Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald Jessa and Ben (seen here AFTER their marriage — what do you take her for, some sort of scarlet woman?) got engaged on August 4 of 2014. though they had been courting for longer than Jill and Derick. 6. Jessa and Ben got married Jessa and Ben’s wedding was on November 1, 2014. And Jessa still hasn’t quieted down about it. View Slideshow

Jill Duggar: Has She Cut Off Contact With Her Family?!

If you watched this week’s episode of Counting On , you got to witness the giddy joy of the Duggars as they learned that their already massive family is about to expand by one. Yes, the entire clan learned that Joy-Anna Duggar was pregnant, but not everyone was able to receive the news in person. Two of Joy’s sisters were informed of her big news via text message – Jinger because she’s relocated to Texas, and Jill because … well, no one knows exactly where Jill is these days. The 26-year-old’s absence from last night’s episode had many fans wondering what could possibly compel Jill to miss something as monumental as her sister’s pregnancy announcement. Many fans speculated that Jill is no longer living in Tontitown and may have once again left the country to perform missionary work. Others theorized that her family has distanced themselves from Jill due to the fact that her husband, Derick Dillard, has been fired by TLC. As is so often the case with this sort of thing, neither explanation is completely accurate … but neither is entirely without basis, either. Currently, Jill is in Mexico with her husband and youngest son. The family has reportedly embarked on a weeklong missionary excursion in Guadalajara. The whereabouts of Jill and Derick’s eldest son, 2-year-old Samuel, are unknown, but it’s believed that he’s staying at the Duggar compound and being cared for by Michelle and the ever-attentive Jana. But that’s a development of the last few days. What fans want to know now is – where was Jill ten months ago when last night’s episode was filmed? The answer to that question is a bit more complex. Those who know the Dillards best say they have relocated to a smaller home in the interest of saving money. (After all, the show was their sole source of income.) The insiders insist that Jill wasn’t present for Joy’s announcement simply because she’s no longer appearing on Counting On . They claim that Jill and Derick’s decision to move away from Tontitown was not the result of rocky relations with Jill’s family. But they won’t go so far as to say all is well between the Dillards and the Duggars. A common topic of discussion in Duggar-centric Reddit pages these days is the fact that several of Jill and Derick’s family members and former friends have recently unfollowed the couple on social media. “The shunning begins… the Bates family have unfollowed Jill and Derick. Individual accounts unfollowing just Derick, meanwhile Ben unfollowed him, who’s next?” wrote one user . “I predict that someone at Cross Church is going to have a ‘counseling session’ with Derick and then his account will abruptly disappear,” commented another. “For as much as they probably agree with what he’s saying, at some point, they don’t want to be responsible for negative attention that this will invariably draw.” “What he is doing is incredibly tacky. Twitter is not the place for personal, family or business grievances,” remarked a third. Needless to say, all is not well between Jill and her family. And as more Jill-free episodes of the Duggars’ reality show hit the air, you can expect fans to continue digging in hopes of unearthing the truth about just how bad the situation has gotten. Jill Duggar: Criticized For Bringing Baby on Dangerous Trip!

If you follow her on social media, then you’re likely aware that Jill Duggar is often criticized for her parenting. Sometimes the complaints are truly asinine, such as the time fans got up in arms because Jill put a tortilla on her baby’s head . On many other occasions, however, the gripes were more legitimate, such as the time Jill was accused of endangering her children by allowing them to play near a freeway. We guess the latest complaint falls somewhere in the middle – a bit more serious than “Mexican food as fashion accessory” but not quite as severe as “human Frogger.” As you may recall, Jill and her husband Derick Dillard perform missionary work from time to time. Or at least they did, until the allure of reality TV stardom lured them back home to Arkansas. Now that Derick has been fired from Counting On and Jill has quit the show as a misguided gesture of solidarity, the Dillards have a lot more time on their hands. Jill and Derick haven’t formally announced that they’re once again traveling abroad in hopes of winning converts, but fans noticed the couple appears in a recent photo posted by their church, which seems to suggest the Dillards are once again headed south of the border. “Pray with us for our group heading to Guadalajara today,” reads the caption on the photo above. The trip won’t be as long as Jill and Derick’s previous excursion, which lasted the better part of a year. It was advertised on the Cross Church’s website as a weeklong trip, but there it seems some members of the congregation are planning to stay a bit longer. “The week will be filled with street evangelism and building relationships to share the gospel as we help Vida Church continue reaching Guadalajara,” reads the ad. Jill and Derick have been widely praised for their philanthropic efforts, but they’ve taken their fair share of criticism for their latest trip, as well. For one thing, the Dillards are not licensed missionaries , a fact they received some harsh criticism for during their previous two travels. Despite having plenty of time to do so, it does not seem that either Jill or Derick enrolled in a licensing course in the year since they returned to the States. But the harshest complaints from fans had to do with Jill and Derick’s decision to bring their 8-month-old son Samuel on the trip. (It does not appear that 2-year-old Samuel traveled with his parents.) Guadalajara is commonly regarded as one of the most dangerous destinations in Mexico. Just last month, the city was the scene of 23 murders over the course of 48 hours. For obvious reasons, many are questioning the wisdom of the Dillards bringing their youngest son along, and some are likening it to Jill putting her son at risk for the Zika virus by remaining in afflicted areas while pregnant. We guess the problem with criticizing the couple for every piece of ethnic cuisine they place on their son’s head is that they’re that much more likely to shrug it off when the world expresses a legitimate concern.
