But perhaps nothing has brought the long-suffering mother of three more strife than the health issues suffered by her daughter Ali . This ongoing battle was the focus of Messer's storyline on Monday's episode of TM2, and fans were deeply moved by Leah and her ex-husband's efforts to set aside their differences in order to do what's best for their beloved daughter. 1. Courageous Ali Fans have been rooting for Ali and her indomitable spirit ever since she first entered the world alongside her twin sister eight years ago. 2. Supportive Sisters At times, Ali’s difficulty with walking and other basic motor functions may be rendered even more difficult by her twin sister Gracie’s natural athleticism. But Ali couldn’t ask for more supportive or encouraging siblings. 3. A Constant Struggle As is the case for most single moms, Leah’s life is a non-stop struggle. But her determination to secure the best possible care and adaptive equipment for Ali has never wavered. 4. Coming Together Leah and ex-husband Corey Simms have received considerable praise for their willingness to set aside any differences they might have and focus on their daughter’s health. 5. Years ago, probably in the Myspace era, there was a site where people would upload a picture of their face and find a celebrity lookalike…it was pretty fucking dumb, but people loved it and would post their celebrity lookalikes all fucking day…normally the people didn’t look anything like them…primitive technology and I guess the talent pool of actual celebrities isn’t too deep, so every dude looks like either Leonardo DiCaprio or Johnny Depp and very little in between. Last month, Leah Messer lost custody of her twin girls to ex-husband Corey Simms, and not surprisingly, sources say she took she court’s decision hard. In fact, there were rumors that Leah was suicidal from the embarrassment of losing her girls. If you only looked at her social media pages and knew nothing about her struggles, however, you might think Messer’s life is picture perfect. Leah’s been posting photos of her daughters more than ever recently, and naturally, she shared her annual family Christmas pics with the world this week. On the left is Leah with her three kids. She’s flanked by daughters Ali and Aleeah, who now spend most of the week with Leah’s first husband. On the right, we have Leah with her siblings, who followed in Leah’s footsteps by starting families while they were still very young. Brother Isaac, a high school student, recently welcomed his first child, while sister Victoria, 21, is currently pregnant. Of course, all our eyes are on Leah in these pics, as fans continue to wonder if the troubled Teen Mom can hold it together in the face of mounting difficulties. Leah’s drug use and negligent parenting were all featured on the most recent season of Teen Mom 2, and it’ll probably be a long time before she has the opportunity to regain primary custody of her twin girls.
