Duggar Website Reveals Strange Truths About Josh & Jana

In some respects, the Duggars are an open book. They’ve starred in two reality series that both put their personal lives front and center, and all of the Duggars who are married (and thus permitted to use social media) enjoy offering regular updates to their millions of followers. But for all their talent with commodifying the most mundane aspects of their day-to-day routines, the Duggars are just as skilled at keeping the more unseemly aspects of their lives under wraps.  The biggest skeleton in Duggar’s closet, of course, goes by the name of Josh. The Josh Duggar sex scandals were so vile that many are still (justifiably) astonished that the family was granted a second shot at reality stardom. These days, Counting On producers go to almost comical lengths to keep Josh off camera , even adding face-obscuring lens flares in post-production like a bunch of J.J. Abramses on Adderall. But they can’t completely deny the existence of Josh, which is why he’s still represented on the family’s official website: That’s Josh’s entry in the Duggar family “scrapbook” and as the folks at Refinery 29 pointed out, there’s all types of weird and wild sh-t going on here. Where to begin? For starters, Josh hasn’t worked at the Family Research Council in almost two years. Seems the conservative think tank wasn’t too thrilled with the revelation Josh molested four of his sisters . Go figure. Despite the fact that Josh’s relationship with the FRC didn’t exactly end amicably, his profile pic appears to be him at some sort of event hosted by the organization. Anyway, these days Josh’s career prospects are in the gutter, which leads us to the other weird-as-hell tidbit here: Under future plans, Josh simply put down a question mark. Is he saying he doesn’t have any plans? Did his scandal throw him into such disarray that he’s been forced to torch his blueprints for the future? Isn’t Jesus supposed to be walking with him on a beach and directing him toward the next lucrative business venture or something? Whatever the case, at least Josh isn’t alone in aimlessness: Yes, Jana Duggar also can’t manage to come up with a single aspiration, thus indicating a lack of ambition that might be charming if she were a teenage Doc Marten enthusiast named Daria, but is a little weird coming from a 27-year-old who prides herself on her work ethic. It might not seem all that unusual to leave that section blank, but given how carefully the Duggars cultivate their public images it’s sort of a glaring omission. Like, it’s really not that hard to come up with one thing you want to do in the future, and giving voice to their goals would help the Duggars maintain the myth that they’re normal, well-rounded people. Hell, we could do it for them! Okay, Josh likes Frito chili pie, so why doesn’t he say that his goals for the future are to eat more Frito chili pie and refrain from groping any of his siblings? There! Problem solved! View Slideshow: Josh Duggar Sex Scandal Timeline: How His Family’s Empire Crumbled

Family Research Council President Lambasts "Deceitful Behavior" of Josh Duggar

Josh Duggar is an admitted child molester and unfaithful husband. These facts would be appalling enough on their own. But what has made Duggar’s actions especially reprehensible is that he spent years as a spokesperson for the Family Research Council, an organization that lobbies against LGBT rights and for “traditional family values.” Due to the reality stat’s decidedly un traditional sexual abuse of his own sisters at the age of 14,  Duggar resigned from the Family Research Council in May. And now the President of the FRC has spoken out harshly against Duggar in light of Josh’s confession that he cheated on his wife and is addicted to pornography. “We are grieved by Josh’s conduct and the devastating impact of his pornography addiction and marital unfaithfulness,” Tony Perkins said via statement. “Our hearts hurt for his family, and all those affected by Josh’s actions. His deceitful behavior harms his family, his friends, his former coworkers, and the cause he has publicly espoused. “Those of us who advocate for family values in the public square are held to a higher standard, and Josh’s failures serve as a painful reminder of the destructive effects of not living with integrity. “We are praying for the family.” On Wednesday, hackers released information on every client within the database of Ashley Madison, a website that caters to those seeking to have an affair. After an account in Josh Duggar’s name came to light (one in which Duggar requests the naked company of a mate into “Experimenting with Sex Toys)”, the 26-year old came out and pleaded guilty to infidelity. His wife, who gave birth to the couple’s fourth child in May, is yet to speak publicly on the matter.

Montel Williams Slams Duggar Family as Total "Freaks of Nature"

Montel Williams would like to make his feelings about the Duggar family known once again. Back in May, after Josh Duggar admitted to sexually abusing a number of young girls as a teenager, the talk show host slammed the former reality star as a “world class bigot” and “slimebag.” So now that Duggar has also admitted to an affair ? To an affair that he actively sought out as a client on Ashley Madison , a website that sets up husbands with potential mistresses?!? “More Duggar ‘family values,'” Williams Tweeted on the day Josh’s latest scandal broke, addig: “Josh Duggar found in Ashley Madison hack. And these freaks of nature say #lgbt folks r a moral problem?” In news broken by Gawker, the oldest Duggar son paid nearly $1,000 for two subscriptions on the cheating website between February 2013 and May 2015. According to the subscriptions – made public by a group of hackers – Duggar was seeking a woman on the website who likes to give oral sex; likes to receive oral sex; and is into sex toy experimentation. And wife Anna Duggar , apparently, does not fit these descriptions in his view. For Williams, and many other critics of Josh Duggar, the anger stems not just from his actions… but from his role as a spokesman for the Family Research Council. As such, he lambasted members of the LGBT community for being poor role models, raking in tons of money for his anti-gay marriage stance in the process. “Josh is a great reminder that the more sanctimonious one is toward others about so called ‘Christian values’ the more likely they are to be full of it,” Williams added on Facebook. “True Christians are not filled with hate and sanctimony.” View Slideshow: 23 Biggest Duggar Family Scandals: How Low Can They Go?!

Josh Duggar Molestation Details: Posted on Blog Eight Years Ago!

When allegations that 19 Kids and Counting’s Josh Duggar molested five young girls took the nation by storm last week, many of us were astonished. Not Alice. Their conservative political views have always been controversial, but to fans and critics alike, the Duggars personified modesty, faith and family. How quickly that image has been tarnished since Josh, 27, admitted he “acted inexcusably” as a teenager, having allegedly abused his own sisters. Rumors of the former Christian lobbyist’s past are nothing new, though. In fact, a commenter named “Alice” made the claims on ibiblio (dot) org in 2007. Alice gave a thorough, detailed account of events that are nearly identical to those outlined in Josh Duggar police report that became public this week: “In January, the whole family went to Chicago and taped Oprah Winfrey show … As you may have noticed, that show never aired and it never will.” Alice then dropped the bombshell that The Oprah Winfrey Show staff members had been told that Josh had molested five minor girls. She writes: “Yes, this is the truth … They have been investigated to some length.” While parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar “call their son ‘Precious Josh’ and in their eyes he can do no wrong,” Alice says they covered all this up: “They have lied and lied about their son to protect him. In my eyes he is a CHILD MOLESTOR. HE SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE HOME.” “If you don’t believe me, contact the Arkansas State Police Child Protection Agency and the Washington County Child Protection Agency in Fayetteville.” “It will be worth the time and effort to read all about it.” View Slideshow: 21 Biggest Duggar Family Scandals “People, trust me or not. I know this for a fact,” Alice urges . “God’s honest truth that the molestation happened … I could go into detail, but I won’t.” “Of course, you can find nothing about the charges. The Duggar’s want to keep this hid. Wouldn’t you? They wouldn’t have the things that they do.” Other sites such as the popular Duggar watchdog FreeJinger (dot) org, named for younger sister Jinger Duggar, have long cited Alice’s comments. Alice’s story has now been more or less confirmed, with shocking accuracy; Oprah and her production company, Harpo, have yet to comment. The police report was recently expunged by a judge, ensuring that we will never know the names of Josh Duggar’s alleged molestation victims. Still, the family will never be looked at the same way again. “I hurt others, including my family and close friends,” said Josh, who sought treatment as a sexual deviant but was never charged, in a  statement. “I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing.” “My parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling,” he said, so as to avoid going down this dark, disturbed road. Josh has resigned from the Family Research Council, and TLC pulled 19 Kids and Counting off its schedule but has not officially canceled the show. Give it time. Josh Duggar Admits to Acting "Inexcusably," Apologizes for Alleged Molestation

A day after  Josh Duggar was named by police as an alleged offender in a sexual molestation case, the reality star and his family have issued a statement. In response to this heinous scandal, they are not denying the charges. “Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret,” Josh tells People . “I hurt others, including my family and close friends … I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation.” “We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling.” “I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life,” added Josh, who did not elaborate on what the road entailed. TMZ was a lot less vague today, reporting that a decade ago, Duggar was investigated for multiple counts of sexual molestation as a teenager. Sources told police he fondled the genitals of five girls back in 2002. Included among the molestation victims were Josh’s own sisters . View Slideshow: Josh and Anna Duggar Photos: Through the Years Duggar has now resigned from his position at the Family Research Council as a result of the accusations becoming a matter of public record. Jim Bob and Michelle, in their own statement, acknowledged having gone through “one of the most difficult times” of their lives 12 years ago. “When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked,” the patriarch and matriarch said Thursday. “We had tried to teach him right from wrong,” they said, in the aftermath. “That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before.”  Jim Bob Duggar turned him in , reportedly to local church members who agreed that Josh should be put in some kind of treatment program. It remains unclear just what this entailed. For her part, Josh’s wife and the mother of his three children, Anna, says her husband told her about his ugly past two years before he proposed. But you can bet public pressure will be applied to fire his entire family. Will TLC cancel 19 Kids and Counting in the wake of this scandal? All we can do is stay tuned there, but Josh, 27, insists he is a changed man. “I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions,” says Josh. “I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged.” “I asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God’s grace, mercy and redemption.” Think he’ll get it? From a higher power and/or TLC viewers? View Slideshow: 17 Controversial Duggar Family Quotes

Josh Duggar Sex Scandal: Jim Bob "Did What He Thought Was Right"

Fans of the Duggar family and their fervent Christian values were given a serious jolt this morning when news of a Josh Duggar sex scandal broke. The eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 Kids and Counting was allegedly involved in a sex abuse case involving a minor around 2005. None other than Jim Bob was the one who turned Josh in, too. According to reports, when the patriarch discovered that his son “inappropriately touched” an underage female, he took decisive action. Hauling the wayward teen to the Arkansas State Police, sources say he was so “mortified” by his son’s actions and felt he had little choice. As a result, “Jim Bob did what he thought was right.” The case was reportedly buried by former state trooper Joseph Hutchens, who is currently serving 56 years in prison on child pornography charges. By the time the Crimes Against Children Division was later contacted about the Josh Duggar case, the three-year statute of limitations had expired. Josh is now married to Anna Duggar and is the father of three kids of his own, with a fourth on the way; their daughter is due this summer. Fans who watch 19 Kids and Counting online also know he heads up the Family Research Council’s legislative affairs as a D.C. lobbyist. Often vocally and adamantly fighting gay marriage and abortion , Josh is no stranger to controversy, even going out of his way to court it. He also owes a lot in back taxes , which may be a much bigger deal than this sex case, as it was 10 years ago and he was never charged. View Slideshow: 21 Biggest Duggar Family Scandals

Duggar Family Forms Pro-Life Coalition to Fight "Abortion Holocaust"

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of the popular TLC series 19 Kids and Counting are forming a coalition of pro-life groups to help fight against abortion. The idea stems from their recent trip to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC; to the Duggars, abortion is itself a holocaust. “A couple of weeks after we went to the Holocaust Museum it dawned on us that there is a holocaust taking place right here in America!” the Duggars wrote. “More than 56 million lives have been destroyed in our country! That is over 4,000 babies being killed and 4,000 women being wounded each day!” “We talked and prayed about what our family could do to make a difference in saving the lives of the unborn. We ended up contacting the national pro-life groups.” “We asked them to all work together and pool their incredible resources to motivate and activate many people to get involved in ending abortion in America.” The Duggars called Dan Pennell, CEO of WMtek, a Fort Pierce, Fla., based web development company, who immediately caught the vision, Jim Bob said. Working with Jim Bob and Mathew Staver of Liberty Counsel, Dan formed the coalition of pro-life groups that has become what is now Life United. Its partners: The Duggar family; LIFE International; L.E.A.R.N; Living Waters; Liberty Counsel; National Center for Life and Liberty; Family Research Council; The Justice Foundation. “Life United exists not only to educate people with the reality of abortion in our generation, but to do something about it,” the group said in a statement. “Our partners have come together with their resources to create the tools that will help motivate and enable others to value and support human life.” “Americans are being forced to fund a Hitler-kind of killing machine,” the group says, calling the last four decades “the 40 most bloody years in America.” “We are committed to end abortion in our lifetime. Abortion is the most senseless, inhumane form of child abuse one can imagine. It is time to restore a culture of life.” In less controversial news, check out the Duggar Family tater tot casserole recipe . Whatever you think of their politics, everyone can agree that’s awesome.

SMH… Conservative Pundit Says Obama Will Get His Votes From People On Welfare And Voter Fraud In “Urban” Areas

Sounds racist if you ask us. Is he sayin’ a black man can’t win an election without using “hood” tactics? This guy can’t be serious trying to make it seem like Obama is only getting love from folks on welfare ? We call bullisht. Conservative pundit Gary Bauer, the former president of the Family Research Council, which puts on the Values Voter Summit each year, told the crowd at the 2012 conference Friday that it needs to turn out in great numbers to defeat President Obama’s army of welfare recipients and fraudulent votes. After his speech, Bauer told TPM “voter fraud is rampant in urban areas” and he expected that to help Obama. Bauer also told TPM that “there are a lot of people who will vote this November because they depend on government largesse,” meaning checks from Washington. He expects those voters to go Obama as well. “They will vote for their own perceived interests, which is they don’t want anybody cutting back the size of the checks,” Bauer said. On stage at VVS, he made a similar case, but said hard-working Americans will turnout in stronger numbers. “There’s a lot of people out now around America who depend on checks from their fellow taxpayers being in the mailbox every day,” Bauer said. “They will turn out in massive numbers, but so will the entrepreneurs, the small businessmen and women, the military families, the soldiers in harms way, the millions of Americans that want to hope again.” That last set of voters, Bauer said, will turn things for Romney. As for voter fraud, Bauer claimed Republicans will have to contend with lots of fake votes from the big cities. But he said those Obama votes won’t be enough either. “My prediction is after all the votes are counted — even the dead votes of Democrats in Chicago, Detroit and Cleveland — I predict that we will win, that this nightmare will be over and America will finally be on the road to recovery,” Bauer said. Bauer was focused on the types of votes he said Democrats rely on, but his talk about people who rely on “government largesse” is not far from the mainstream Republican view of the election. Mitt Romney has said several times that Obama is creating a “culture of dependency” in which more and more people become reliant on government checks. Hopefully HARD Working people know better than to vote for Robney, cuz all he’s gonna do is cut taxes on the rich to the point that they’ll wish they were getting welfare checks! Source

Chick-fil-A Opening in California Draws Protest by Gay Marriage Supporters

Unlike the cities of Boston and Chicago, Laguna Hills did not place a ban on the opening of Chick-fil-A in its area. But perhaps it now wishes it had. A new store in that town was greeted this morning by protestors from the Orange County Gay and Lesbian Community Services Center, holding signs and calling for boycotts of the chain whose President has come out against gay marriage. Aside from simply saying his company was “guilty as charged” when it came to supporting the “biblical definition of marriage,” Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy has donated millions to the Marriage & Family Foundation and the Family Research Council. The issue first came to attention when Ed Helms Tweeted his reaction to that news and said Chick-fil-A had lost him as a customer. The The Jim Henson Company has also severed ties with the store, who tried to stem the tide of public disdain by releasing a statement that read: “Going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.” So far, as today demonstrated, it has not worked.
