On Friday, Hulu Plus made available doer-of-literally-everything James Franco’s NYU thesis film, “Saturday Night,” a documentary on what goes on behind-the-scenes each week on “Saturday Night Live.” And though it may be more of a fly-on-the-wall look at the process rather than anything particularly in-depth, there was still plenty of interesting stuff to learn for anyone who’s a fan of the long-running sketch comedy series.

Justin Bieber’s forays into the worlds of international politics and social issues have historically ended badly. First there was that time he called Anne Frank a Belieber . Then, of course, there was that ugly episode in which Bieber made Rob Ford smoke crack (seriously). However, it seemed like there was no risk involved in Justin’s latest attempt to do some good in the world. The Biebs facetimed recently with Malala Yousafzai, a 17-year-old Pakistani who was shot by a Taliban assassin in 2012 as a result of her efforts to make it safe for Pakistani girls to receive an education. Bieber posted the above photo of his unlikely chat session, and the Internet, as it is wont to do, went ape dookie: “Like he even knew who she was before his PR team told him,” wrote one commenter. “Jesus of all the celebs more worthy of her time what has that poor girl done to get landed with that little sh-t?” wrote another. Another (hilariously) added: “Malala take his money girl. You are probably going to do more good with his money than he ever will in a lifetime.” While there’s certainly some truth to be found in all of those quotes,it should be noted that Malala is said to be a fan of Bieber’s (unlike Anne Frank), and Pakistan is one of the countries where he still has a huge following in her age group. Sadly, Pakistanis have limited access to celebrity gossip , so she probably has no idea what a bag he’s become. An unnamed woman in South Carolina called the authorities this week because her 15-year old son was acting totally normal. According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Tuesday afternoon because a mother told them her two-year old daughter “turned on the TV and porn was on.” She then found her son in his bedroom and figured he had been watching the naked action, heard her arrive home and quickly booked it upstairs. “[The mom] requested that a report be done to document … her son’s behavior and due to her daughter being exposed to porn,” the police report reads, as the mother told authorities she had been having many other difficulties with her teenage child for awhile. Lt. Kevin Bobo, however, says the sheriff’s office did not make an arrest or issue a citation because “I don’t know of any South Carolina law that was broken,” he told The Huffington Post. Earlier this week, a man in Florida dialed 911 because a cop took a long time writing his ticket . Would Bobo consider this an equally unexpected reason to phone the police? “Is it unusual for a momma to call the police on teenagers looking at porn? There’s the After the Final Rose special you see on TV, and what goes on behind the scenes after the final rose ceremony between two lovebirds. In honor of Throwback Thursday, The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman shared a snapshot of her cuddling with fiancé Josh Murray the day after the show. “#tbt Day after we got engaged @joshmurray!!” Dorfman wrote. For Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, #tbt isn’t throwing it back very far. The duo got engaged May 9 (and are looking at getting married May 9 next year). There’s little doubt, however, that she made the right choice in Josh, a former baseball player turned financial services rep who, like Andi, lives in Atlanta. Though the couple look completely and blissfully relaxed in the picture, Dorfman made Murray sweat before finally revealing her feelings for the frontrunner. Josh had to beat some serious competition (rumors say producers are considering Chris Soules and Nick Viall as The Bachelor ), as well has his nerves. “In the middle of my proposal, I stopped to allow her to gather her words. I assumed she was finally going to tell me she loved me, but it didn’t start out like that!” Murray joked. He gathered himself eventually, and she said yes, a thousand times yes. After a little Nick awkwardness on the season finale, the rest, as they say, is history. There’s been no looking back for them, either. The two have been on top of each other 24/7 since the show ended, but rather than driving them crazy, it’s proven to them that it’s a match made in heaven. Or at least reality TV. Box-office analyst Jeff Bock tells MTV News the ‘Twilight’ flick could earn $150 million during opening weekend. By Kevin P. Sullivan Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in “Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Photo: Summit Anyone who is at least vaguely familiar with the “Twilight Saga” and the phenomenon that it is could tell you that “Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” the penultimate entry in the series, is going to be big at the box office. Just how big? Deadline reported Wednesday (November 16) that Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the paranormal romance films, expects a domestic opening-weekend gross of anywhere from $110 million to $125 million. An opening weekend within that range could put it in the top 10 highest-grossing debuts ever. As large as those figures may be, they are still a far cry from the biggest domestic opening for a “Twilight” film. In 2009, “New Moon” earned a whopping $142 million during its three-day opening, beating the series’ second best debut, “Eclipse,” by $22 million. Jeff Bock, box-office analyst for Exhibitor Relations , thinks “Breaking Dawn” could outperform Summit’s expectations. “Expect ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 1’ to suck the life out of the box office to the tune of $150 million this weekend,” Bock wrote in an email to MTV News. That would put the film within the top five all-time weekends, but Bock doubts it will break any records. “It’s doubtful it can top ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2’ ‘s record-breaking $169 million debut ,” Bock said. “But it’s certainly not out of the question for ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ to hit that mark.” Bock’s predictions are more along the lines of what rival studios expect from the film, according to Deadline. Despite Summit’s own lofty expectations, a more recent version of the same report claims that rival studios have accused Summit of low-balling the figures. The other studios expect “New Moon” to earn $142 million during its opening weekend. Drake always talks about his love for Nicki Minaj , but whether it’s just an inside joke or something more serious, only they know. Their chemistry in the studio, however, is undeniable. “It’s kind of like a little joke I think that they play with each other,” Toronto producer T-Minus told MTV News. “I really don’t know what goes on behind closed doors with that. Definitely it could be something, but I personally don’t even know what goes on.” Aside from their current Take Care collaboration, “Make Me Proud,” T-Minus also produced last year’s Nicki/Drake duet “Moment 4 Life,” so he’s a bit of an authority on the pair’s in-studio magic. “Musically they go really well together. I think they’re a great contribution to Young Money. The chemistry is great,” he told MTV News. Drizzy has never been shy about his admiration for his curvy Young Money labelmate. On his 2010 track “Miss Me,” Drake famously rapped, “I love Nicki Minaj, I told her I’d admit it/ I hope one day we get married just to say we f—in’ did it.” A few months later, he playfully announced via Twitter that he and Minaj had gotten married . Maybe it was in those tweets that Drake found inspiration for his latest single. He wrote, “Baby I am never scared. PROUD is more the word I would use,” before making the faux wedding announcement. Whatever the case, a year and two months later we get “Make Me Proud.” “Whenever I make songs surrounding women, I always try to find refreshing stances to take, as opposed to just like, Oh, you’re sexy or Oh, I want you. The song, it really came up in passing conversation, just being like, I’m proud of you,” Drake told MTV News back in October when he first dropped the single. In order to bring his idea to life musically, the OVO general called on T-Minus. “Drake was looking for a record to put Nicki on for Take Care and we were debating about a lot of different records that we had,” the producer said. “He was like, ‘I want something that has a lot of energy, it sounds fast, but it’s got a slow tempo.’ ” After their powwow, “Make Me Proud” came together in no time. “It maybe took like 30 minutes. That Angelina Jolie bodyguard story from yesterday – in which the dude accuses her of being a heartless psycho bitch – can’t possibly be true can it? If you missed it, In Touch Weekly allegedly got one of Brad and Angie’s former employees to spill the dirty beans about his, um, domineering ex-boss. Brangelina and other stars presumably have their employees sign confidentiality agreements, which if he broke, he’d be in for one hell of a lawsuit here. That said, are the things he says so far-fetched? “Bill the bodyguard,” as he’s referred to, dishes that Jolie has a bit of a different persona between what the public sees and what goes on behind closed doors. Who is the real Angelina Jolie exactly? Seeing as she’s a woman who complains about a lack of privacy, then flaunts PDAs with Brad and kids to silence the press, that’s not a huge stretch. He also alleges that her favorite method of punishment of the silent treatment, that she is unmoved by emotions and can switch moods in an instant. The moniker ” Arctic Angie ” and her legendary mood swings didn’t come out of nowhere, so there may be at least partial truth to that statement, too. She and Brad not boning anymore, and sleeping in different rooms? Believable. Laughing when her children cry, though? That may be a little much. In short, who’s to say what’s true and what isn’t when it comes to Brangelina. Something may be amiss, but as THG sees it only two things are certain: The mind games Ang plays haven’t driven Brad back to Jen … yet Bill the Bodyguard is about to feel the wrath of the Ice Queen
