Amanda Stanton & Josh Murray: What Caused Their Breakup?

Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray are no longer in a relationship. That much has been the subject of much speculation over the past few weeks since it emerged that they had gone their separate ways.  However, there was little insight into what actually went wrong for the pair who met on Bachelor in Paradise earlier this year.  Now, we’re hearing that the final straw came when the pair bickered at the Jingle Ball at the Staples Center .  Ashley Iaconetti was apparently to blame for the whole thing by bringing up a trip she and Amanda went on to Lake Tahoe.  Pretty crazy. Right? Yeah, it’s pretty pathetic, but that’s not the story people close to Josh are spouting. Instead, the blame is being put squarely on Amanda for whispering something “nasty” to him.  The pair even tried meeting up in the aftermath of the big blowout, but the relationship just seemed over, so both of them decided to call it quits.  There’s nothing quite like staying together when there’s just nothing there, is there? Little Boy Fat-Shamed by Santa: Watch the Heartbreaking Video!

Before we get started, you need to go ahead and brace yourself, because this is a seriously sad story about a poor little boy and his broken dreams. So gather your thoughts, steel your heart, and settle in, because this is one wild, disappointing ride. OK, so there are a great deal of children who love Santa Claus , right? Sure, some of them are a little weary of the idea of sitting on some strange old man's lap and telling him some gifts they'd like to receive, but many others look forward to visiting the guy . This little boy we're talking about today, nine-year-old Anthony of Forest City, North Carolina, fell into that second category. On Saturday, he spent the day with his family, getting into so many winter shenanigans. They went ice-skating, and they even went for a carriage ride, before going on a little trip to see Santa. Things started off fine — Anthony sat on Santa's lap, he asked for an iPod Touch and a drone, everything was good. But when Anthony went to leave, he claims that Santa told him to “lay off the hamburgers and french fries.” Poor, adorable Anthony says that Santa “really disrespected me,” and that “it affected me so bad that I was crying until I went to bed that night.” The Santa in question was scolded, and he apologized to the family, but Anthony thinks that “he didn't even mean it.” Check out the super sad video below:

Josh Murray & Amanda Stanton: It’s Over!

Ever since Bachelor in Paradise couple  Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton got engaged back in August, rumors have been circulating that the couple would never make it to the altar. Rumors of a breakup were often followed by half-hearted confirmations that Amanda and Josh are “still together.” Insiders never seemed to add “and they’re still planning to get married.” So it’s not all that surprising that multiple outlets are not reporting that Josh and Amanda have called it quits . “They are broken up,” the website Reality Steve reported on Tuesday. “They just haven’t gone public with it yet because, my guess is, they’re trying to figure out the best time to do it.” Wow. You almost have to admire how delusional these two are. Like, it’s a bummer that they’re breaking up, but we’re pretty sure they don’t need to plan a press conference like they’re Brangelina or something. Anyway, details about what caused the split are scarce at the moment. Insiders say Amanda was the one who ended the engagement and that Josh is currently staying in a nearby hotel. He had previously been living in an apartment with Amanda and her two children from a previous marriage. Fans of the franchise will likely rejoice at the news, as many were concerned about Josh’s fitness as a husband and stepfather from the start. In addition to his frequent douchiness on camera, Josh’s breakup with Andi Dorfman prompted an unflattering portrayal in her recent memoir. As The Ashley’s Reality Roundup points out, Reality Steve is basically the authority on all things Bachelor/Bachelorette , and his insider knowledge has such that he’s known for posting spot-on spoilers. He points out that tabloids have been reporting that Josh and Amanda have called it quits for months, but he waited until he was certain to publish any breakup news of his own. He adds that the split wasn’t caused by a “one-time event” and that the couple has been struggling for months. Even so, you can expect tabloid reports that Josh was caught cheating. If you  watch Bachelor in Paradise online , you know the tension, awkwardness and anticipation rise with every passing week on ABC. Watch Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 Episode 8 Online There was little doubt about this on  Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 Episode 8 , during which romance, insecurities and drama ran rampant. Especially when you get Nick Viall and Josh Murray together. Josh again had to defend himself against allegations made in Andi Dorfman’s new memoir on Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 Episode 8. This time, the twins, Emily and Haley Ferguson, got involved. After expressing their concerns to Nick after Josh got pissed that Amanda Stanton went to bed without telling him, Viall opened up: “The fact that he’s cracked a little bit from something as simple as Amanda going to bed without telling him, that’s concerning, right?” “So, it’s hard to believe that (Andi) wrote a fictional book about Josh that was all made up, but there’s some accurate things about me.” “And, so I think it’s a very fair question to ask,” Nick explained, asking, “Did [Murray] come ’cause he thought he could repair his image?” The twins thought Nick’s points were, well, on point. Growing concerned about Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton together, and lacking for other storylines, the twins pulled their BFF aside. “Tonight it’s been brought to our attention that, by a few of the people [here] now, that Josh’s intentions aren’t pure with you,” they said. “We just want you to be careful,” Haley told Amanda. Stanton felt confused because she didn’t know what was said, as the twins promptly peaced out of paradise because they hadn’t found love. That’s right, they forfeited their roses and bounced. In any case, Amanda confronted Josh, who replied, “to believe that kind of stuff is like looking in a gossip magazine, believing that.” “It’s absolutely ludicrous,” he said, irritated. When Amanda revealed that the twins cited an unnamed source as the person (or person) behind the Josh gossip, he got more irritated. He assembled the whole gang to ream them out, and profess his innocence, telling them that “I am very frustrated right now.” “Ever since I’ve been here, for some reason one person or multiple people have accused me of being fake … It’s very disrespectful.” “It’s inconsiderate, and it’s a bunch of bulls–t to be honest with you,” Murray said, seething. “I don’t need to be here.” “My dog’s been battling cancer for six months. I wasn’t gonna come here. I am looking for somebody … period.” Then Josh asked if anyone doubted his authenticity, and Nick said he wasn’t sure, then brought up Dorfman’s book. “You keep saying it’s a fictional book. All I know is on my part it’s not fictional … the stuff she wrote about me,” Nick said. Josh responded to that by … threatening Nick: “All I know is I’m gonna try to work on this right now, and you need to hope that everything’s good with me and her … period, man.” Yeah. As Nick said, this is one scary ass dude: “All he wanted to do was just murder me.” As far as Amanda’s response to all this, she said that “I love the twins, and I respect what they have to say,” but it’s her decision. Josh Murray to Nick Viall: Third Time’s the Charm, Bruh?

Josh Murray couldn’t resist taking a shot at Nick Viall following the latter’s annual Bachelorette season finale meltdown on Monday night. “Welp, let’s see who the next Bachelorette is, 3rd times always a charm, you got this bud,” Murray tweeted as the carnage played out: Nick Viall Proposes, Gets Rejected By Kaitlyn Bristowe On last summer’s finale, Andi Dorfman rejected Viall in favor of Murray; Nick then awkwardly asked Andi why she made love to him . Murray called the man he bested “very classless” and “disrespectful” for openly discussing the details of his fantasy suite date: “It just shows the type of person that he really is. I don’t associate myself with those kinds of people and neither does Andi.” “So it’s nice that that’s over with and no concern to us or our lives.” Andi and Josh have since ended their engagement, but the bad blood lingers, clearly. Josh and Shawn Booth should get together. This week, Kaitlyn Bristowe got engaged to Shawn Booth on the finale, after Booth hated with “the other guy” more than Josh did. In fact, Nick and Shawn disliked each other so much that it kind of became the focal point of the entire second half of the season. On the After the Final Rose special Monday night, Booth appeared to make amends with Viall, tensely putting their feud to bed. However, he re-tweeted Murray’s diss on Tuesday while out to dinner with Bristowe in NYC; Hours later, he decided to delete it. All we can say is that Kaitlyn and Shawn probably won’t make it to the altar anyway, so maybe there’s hope down the road Nick? Besides, there have to be some single women in Milwaukee, no?

Andi Dorfman on Josh Murray Breakup: MORE CLOSET SPACE FTW!

The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman may have been genuinely heartbroken by her split with Josh Murray, but she’s taking a positive approach to it now. At least she’s able to see the silver lining. How so? Those who heard Josh Murray subtly diss her yesterday, saying he “doesn’t miss” Andi Dorfman and acting like their breakup was no thing, will enjoy this. If Andi had fired back at Josh with some subtle (or not so subtle) shade, no one would have been upset, as he sort of has it coming. But even better: “Downside to being single… Solo Assembly. Upside to being single… Solo closet space! #illtakeit #diy #handyandi?” Andi captioned a pic of her closet. Reading between the lines, it’s like she’s saying that even though she misses having a guy around to help with stuff, it’s time to look on the bright side. Sure, we’re reading into this way too much. But still. Dig or no dig, it at least it wasn’t a direct reference Josh, or an implication that he didn’t mean that much to her. We know he did? Why act otherwise? Andi previously called breaking up with Josh the biggest failure of her life , as she fully believed in her engagement and that she’d be with him for life. If he didn’t feel the same way, we’d be really surprised, so his quasi-shade came out of nowhere, and puts her light-hearted, glass-half-full reply in perspective. Andi Dorfman threw her fiance Josh Murray a surprise 30th birthday party in Atlanta, Ga., on Friday night, reveling in the milestone with family and friends. Her signature frown was nowhere to be seen. The night at Atlanta’s Painted Pin was a blast, filled with bowling and “lots of kisses and hugs,” an insider says of the festivities, which “went off without a hitch.” “Andi was stressed all week trying to make this the perfect surprise for Josh,” and she succeeded, with both of the reality stars smiling ear to ear all night. “Andi and Josh were very affectionate and seemed genuinely happy,” a second source says, adding that the duo “seemed very natural and comfortable together.” At one point, Josh Murray and Andi Dorfman worked on her bowling form and they shared a sweet kiss. Andi also hopped on his lap while talking with friends. The Atlanta natives recently returned home after wrapping up a whirlwind of post-finale press in New York, and are basking in their newly engaged bliss . If this is supposed to be the hard part – once The Bachelorette is over and real life begins – they sure are making it look easy here at the onset. “I call him for everything. There’s the After the Final Rose special you see on TV, and what goes on behind the scenes after the final rose ceremony between two lovebirds. In honor of Throwback Thursday, The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman shared a snapshot of her cuddling with fiancé Josh Murray the day after the show. “#tbt Day after we got engaged @joshmurray!!” Dorfman wrote. For Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, #tbt isn’t throwing it back very far. The duo got engaged May 9 (and are looking at getting married May 9 next year). There’s little doubt, however, that she made the right choice in Josh, a former baseball player turned financial services rep who, like Andi, lives in Atlanta. Though the couple look completely and blissfully relaxed in the picture, Dorfman made Murray sweat before finally revealing her feelings for the frontrunner. Josh had to beat some serious competition (rumors say producers are considering Chris Soules and Nick Viall as The Bachelor ), as well has his nerves. “In the middle of my proposal, I stopped to allow her to gather her words. I assumed she was finally going to tell me she loved me, but it didn’t start out like that!” Murray joked. He gathered himself eventually, and she said yes, a thousand times yes. After a little Nick awkwardness on the season finale, the rest, as they say, is history. There’s been no looking back for them, either. The two have been on top of each other 24/7 since the show ended, but rather than driving them crazy, it’s proven to them that it’s a match made in heaven. Or at least reality TV. The Bachelorette stars Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray are wasting no time acclimating to life in the public eye … and enjoying moments together in private. Described as a serious woman who doesn’t take herself too seriously, Andi proved this yet again in posing with fiance Josh and his dog, Sabel: “The family that frowns together stays together,” Dorfman captioned the photo of herself with her new family members, which she shared via Twitter. Andi’s signature frown on The Bachelorette was likened to Grumpy Cat by host Chris Harrison, but given Josh’s love for Sabel, this is even better. Even if you’re a card-carrying member of Team Nick Viall , there’s little doubt that Andi is happy with her choice on the 10th season of the ABC hit. Dorfman, 27, and Murray, 29, have been tweeting and Instagramming about one another around the clock since their romance went public this week. She also shared a photo of herself with the giant ring Josh gave her. “In love with this ring but more in love with the man who gave it to me!” she wrote alongside the picture of her diamond, courtesy of Neil Lane. Job well done, Josh/Neil. You can both relax and bask in that. Not that she needs to take Sean Lowe’s advice , but reigning Bachelorette Andi Dorfman appears to be on the same page with the former Bachelor star. Waiting until next spring to say “I do” may seem like an eternity for a duo that got engaged after a two-month courtship, but in real world terms? Pretty normal. And healthy, to be perfectly honest. For now, the engaged pair is simply “very happy together.” He’s just happy not to have to share her anymore. “It was very difficult for Josh in the house,” a source said. “He is a very jealous guy and for him to see Andi with other guys … it was really hard for him.” Is that a red flag?
