The Bachelorette Season 14: Who Could It Be?

If nothing else, the selection of Arie Luyendyk Jr. to play the leading man on  The Bachelor  shows that anyone can be in that role. Seriously, anyone. But who will fill Rachel Lindsay's shoes in the fourteenth season of The Bachelorette tentatively set for May? Obviously, we don't expect to know right away. And there's always a chance that viable contenders, or even one consensus choice, will emerge from Arie's season of The Bachelor . That doesn't mean that we can't consider the possibilities, though, because Bachelor Nation has some very strong candidates already. After all, if Arie was still on producers' radar FIVE YEARS after he finished second on Emily Maynard's season, you just never know. Some of these women are already beloved by Bachelor Nation. Others are … we don't want to say reviled , but not quite as beloved. So let's look at who it might be! And hope that we're not disqualifying all of these ladies just by mentioning their names! 1. Kristina Schulman This girl won a lot of sympathy on Bachelor in Paradise during her love triangle with Dean Unglert. While his reputation sunk, her star has never been brighter. Should she become the Bachelorette? 2. Danielle Lombard Being treated and wooed as the most beautiful woman to ever walk the earth on Bachelor in Paradise certainly wouldn’t hurt Danielle Lombard’s chances for the top job. The guys in Paradise weren’t wrong. Just saying. 3. Amanda Stanton Single mom and franchise mainstay Amanda dismissed the idea of becoming the Bachelorette, but … that could be a deliberate deflection. She’s gorgeous, she’s charming, she’s a devoted parent, and she’d be great in that role. 4. Vanessa Grimaldi You might be thinking that they’d never cast Vanessa, because she and Nick only JUST broke up. Well, Arie Luyendyk Jr. had a girlfriend until just a couple of days before he was announced as the Bachelor. The real question is, since Rachel Lindsay was just the Bachelorette, would they have two leading ladies back-to-back who hate each other? 5. Corinne Olympios Hear us out on this one. The scandal on Bachelor in Paradise this summer wasn’t her fault or DeMario’s. She’s still entertaining and seeing her be the Bachelorette would be the stuff of dreams. She has a heart of gold and a platimun vagine — literally what more could you ask for? Plus, there’s a chance that she’s already in talks for it. 6. Andi Dorfman “But she was already The Bachelorette!” Yes. But, especially given that it resulted in a tumultuous relationship with Josh Murray, doesn’t she deserve another bite at the apple? James T. Hodgkinson: Identified as Alexandria Shooter; What Do We Know About Him?

James T. Hodgkinson has been identified as the man who opened fire with a semiautomatic weapon on Wednesday morning in Alexandria, Virginia. As previously reported, the incident took place around 7 a.m. on a baseball field where Republican Congressmen were taking batting and fielding practice. Five people were reportedly injured in the attack, most prominent among then Representative Steve Scalise from Louisiana . He’s been listed in stable condition and his office confirmed that Scalise was in “good spirits” upon wheeled in for surgery at a local hospital. Rand Paul was among those present during the attack and described the baseball field as a “killing field” during an interview on Morning Joe . He said the death toll would have been unimaginable if not for the swift actions of Capitol Police. Added Congressman Mo Brooks, who estimates that Hodgkinson fired at minimum 50 rounds before authorities took him out. “I see a rifle… I hear another blam… at the same time I heard Steve Scalise scream. He was shot… It sure as heck wasn’t an accident. He was going after elected officials.” It has since been confirmed that Hodgkinson asked someone close to the baseball field whether the man playing on it were Republicans or Democrats. As of 9:45 a.m. EST, Steve Scalise was in stable condition and entering surgery following a heinous attack orchestrated by James T. Hodgkinson. “We may have our differences, but we do well, in times like these, to remember that everyone who serves in our nation’s capital is here because, above all, they love our country,” President Trump said in a statement, adding: “We can all agree that we are blessed to be Americans, that our children deserve to grow up in a nation of safety and peace, and that we are strongest when we are unified and when we work together for the common good.” “Please take a moment today to cherish those you love, and always remember those who serve and keep us safe. God bless them all, God bless you, and God Bless America.” The President also confirmed that James T. Hodgkinson is dead from the injuries he sustained upon exchanging gunfire with officers. This is what we know about James T. Hodgkinson: – He was a 66-year old resident of Belleville, Illinois. – He belonged to a number of anti-Republican groups, including one called “Terminate the Republican Party.” – He was a licensed home inspector from 1994 to 1997 and also from 2003 through 2016. – Two days ago, Hodgkinson shared an angry tweet about President Trump on Facebook. It reads as follows: I Want to Say Mr. President, for being an ass hole you are Truly the Biggest Ass Hole We Have Ever Had in the Oval Office. –  He has been arrested or cited for such offenses such as: Failing to obtain electrical permits, damaging a motor vehicle, resisting a peace officer, eluding police, criminal damage to property, driving under the influence and assorted traffic violations. Hodgkinson also volunteered for the Presidential campaign of Senator Bernie Sanders in 2016. Upon learning this piece of information, Sanders released the following statement: “I am sickened by this despicable act. Let me be as clear as I can be: “Violence of any kind is unacceptable in our society and I condemn this action in the strongest possible terms.” Law enforcement officials say there’s no reason to believe the assailant had ties to international terrorism. Two firearms, a rifle and a handgun, were recovered from the scene, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives say. The shooting also wounded two members of a dignitary protection unit of the U.S. Capitol Police,. along with two members of the Capitol Police. All are in good condition.

Amanda Stanton SLAMS Mom-Shamers, Defends Being on Bachelor in Paradise

Amanda Stanton knows the double-edged sword of social media all too well. She’s competed on The Bachelor and signed up for two seasons of Bachelor in Paradise , but what’s drawn the ire of fans and followers isn’t her reality show antics — but her parenting. So now she’s taken to Instagram to BLAST mom-shamers who think that she’s neglecting her kids. “I don’t normally like to address the trolls/mom shamers … but it’s so out of control!” We don’t usually recommend addressing trolls, but we know how irresistible the temptation can be. And in this case, we’re glad that she did. “I’d like to take a moment to clarify first of all that my kids DO have a father that is part of their life. They spend time with him too.” We wonder how many of the mom-shamers just don’t understand how custody arrangements work. “So if you see a photo of me without my kids one weekend and comment something like ‘mother of the year’ or ‘wow shouldn’t she be with her kids?’ Well, there’s a VERY good chance that I can’t be with them because they’re with their dad.” Children should always come first for any parent, but they don’t need to spend every moment when they’re apart from their children laying about despondently like they’re on a commercial for depression meds. Her post went out before Bachelor in Paradise ‘s production was shut down and everyone was sent home, so she also defended her decision to appear on the show’s fourth season . “As far as Bachelor in Paradise goes, it doesn’t film for very long at ALL. I know it airs for 2 months … but it actually takes a lot less than that to film it.” Now, Amanda, isn’t saying that that going to ruin the TV magic? We kid, of course. Any TV magic that Bachelor in Paradise might have used to make viewers forget the true nature of reality television was pretty effectively neutralized. You know, by the whole sexual misconduct investigation . You’d think that after her relationship with Josh Murray ended disastrously , she’d have learned her lesson about using reality TV to actually find a partner, but she decided to do another season. But you know what? If it works, it works. And if it doesn’t work, she still brings in more money to give her children an even better life. That’s our take, anyway. Though clearly this season of Bachelor in Paradise hasn’t worked out as planned and may never actually happen. “I am fortunate enough to be able to work from home and spend more time with my kids than most parents.” Brag much? We know that she’s trying to be reassuring, but some parents are tormented by how much of their children’s lives they miss because of work. Anyway, the rest of her message is kinder. She explains that when she’s filming, her children stay with their father or grandparents. Which makes sense — that’s usually how life works, it’s just that most people are on work trips or something instead of filming. Then she talks about how, you know, different parents lead different lives, but this time sounding a little less snooty about it than she did when she bragged about working from home. “I understand that most parents don’t go on reality TV shows … but everyone’s lives are different. … My kids are my entire world. I am doing my best to give them a great life.” And, honestly, that’s why we have to come down on her side, more than anything else. Fame can be toxic, but a little fame and the money that can come with it can make the difference between a good life and a great one. How many kids wish that their parents had gotten opportunities like Amanda Stanton has? Can you imagine how her children would react if they grew older and learned that she’d declined the chance to pursue a reality career because she wanted to spend every minute with them? She’s not dropping them off at the mall to wander around for hours (they’re 3 and 4), she’s leaving them with their relatives who love them. Some cases of parent-shaming are well-deserved . B these mom-shamers sound like their families never knew to cut the umbilical cord. Amanda Stanton: Returning to Bachelor in Paradise!

If you don’t find love first, or second time, try again.  That appears to be the mantra Amanda Stanton is sticking to since it has been confirmed that she will be returning for Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise .  You may be scratching your head because, well, she found love last summer on the hit ABC reality series. However, things have changed since she was loved up with Josh Murray.  For a start, the two of them have been apart for a few months now, and the current state of their relationship seems friendly. That is If you consider Josh getting the police involved to get a car back he purchased for Amanda.  They’re on the outs, and that’s probably part of the reason why the reality TV star is making another go at love on ABC.  With Bachelor Nation couples dropping like flies, there may be some surprising cast members on the next season of the frothy Summer series.  If you were hoping for Josh to stage an encore to the series, then you can keep on hoping. A source told Us Weekly that he has no intention of appearing on the series.  However, there’s no telling what these reality TV stars would do if they were offered the right amount of zeros on a check.  Amanda has been vocal in the past about what went wrong with the relationship, and it sure sounds like it was all down to the luxurious dates in front of the cameras coming to an end.  “When we were on the show, it felt like I had met the love of my life,” she told Us. “It’s really hard, I think, to move on from that. I think we’re both having a hard time moving on.” “There’s a lot of things and situations in the real world you don’t experience while you’re there [in Paradise],” she added. Wouldn’t it be hilarious if Ben Higgins was on the show and we got to see them get together? Flip or Flop: It’s Coming to An End!

It turns out the show must NOT go on after all. Following several days of damaging headlines regarding the stars of Flip or Flop, HGTV has apparently decided that it will not continue to air new episodes of this once-beloved real estate-themed series. According to a new E! News report, installments of Flip or Flop that have already filmed or which have been contracted to film  will be broadcast as planned throughout 2016 and early 2017. HOWEVER: “The show will end after that,” an insider confirms. That’s the current plan, at least, and it’s an understandable one. Earlier this month, stars  Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa announced that they separated back in May. They had held off on telling the public about their marital status until they were forced to do so by a leaked police report, one that outlined a frightening incident that took place in and around their Orange County home this spring. Back then, Tarek responded to a fight with Christina by grabbing a gun and heading into the woods. Christina feared that her husband was going to kill himself and dialed 911. Many police officers (and a helicopter) then arrived on the scene, coming across a distraught Tarek, who claimed that he had only taken a gun into the wilderness as protection against animals. The couple then turned over a handful of other (legally registered) firearms to the authorities. Once this situation went viral, Tarek and Christina issued a statement that broadly acknowledged what happened and also acknowledged their split. View Slideshow: Christina El Moussa Photos: Flip or Flop Hotness! “Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage,” the statement read, concluding: “We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed. “During the [separation] process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be.” The couple is parents to a six-year old daughter and one-year old son. HGTV then went ahead and issued its own statement, claiming that it would continue to air Flip or Flop as if nothing had happened between Tarek and Christina. The two were planning to maintain their business relationship, despite this personal setback. But it has since come out that Tarek dated the family nanny after splitting from Christina; while Christina is still dating the family contractor . While the network is yet to confirm the E! report that a Flip or Flop end date is basically at hand, it would make sense that these negative headlines related to the show’s stars have simply become too much of a burden. No one has been accused of molesting a relative, but this situation at least bears some similarity to when Lifetime pulled the plug on 19 Kids and Counting as a result of Josh Duggar’s despicable behavior. Tarek recently stood up to a cyber-bully who went after Christina. And the couple is saying all the right things in public. “We are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be,” the two told E! News. “We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.” Meanwhile, until this latest assertion that the end is near, the network has been nothing but supportive. “We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina’s great work on Flip or Flop. When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children,” the network told E! News in another statement. “HGTV is currently airing episodes of Flip or Flop and the series will continue production as scheduled.” That may still be the network stance, too. Executives may have simply come to the conclusion that it’s not worth planning a new season of the program, considering all this crazy, ongoing drama. Amanda Stanton & Josh Murray: What Caused Their Breakup?

Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray are no longer in a relationship. That much has been the subject of much speculation over the past few weeks since it emerged that they had gone their separate ways.  However, there was little insight into what actually went wrong for the pair who met on Bachelor in Paradise earlier this year.  Now, we’re hearing that the final straw came when the pair bickered at the Jingle Ball at the Staples Center .  Ashley Iaconetti was apparently to blame for the whole thing by bringing up a trip she and Amanda went on to Lake Tahoe.  Pretty crazy. Right? Watch Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 Episode 11 Online The main issue appeared to stem from Ashley revealing that Amanda was drinking during the trip, which caused Josh to get mad because Amanda lied to him. Yeah, it’s pretty pathetic, but that’s not the story people close to Josh are spouting. Instead, the blame is being put squarely on Amanda for whispering something “nasty” to him.  The pair even tried meeting up in the aftermath of the big blowout, but the relationship just seemed over, so both of them decided to call it quits.  There’s nothing quite like staying together when there’s just nothing there, is there? Josh Murray, Amanda Stanton on Bachelor in Paradise There’s no denying that their relationship moved on at a brisk pace.  They looked so cute together on Bachelor In Paradise .  If you watch Bachelor in Paradise online , you probably already know that Amanda was originally paired up with Nick Viall early on in the season.  Yeah, Nick and Josh have a knack for fighting over the same woman.  Josh made his intentions clear to Amanda pretty quickly that he was looking for a relationship and their relationship blossomed.  They were engaged and living together, so it’s clear they meant a lot to each other. Amanda Stanton: Single Moms Should NOT Give Up On Love!

Amanda Stanton was one of the most genuine Bachelor in Paradise stars this summer.  She went on the show to try and find a suitor who would love her for her and she accomplished that goal.  She was initially paired up with Nick Viall, but her attention changed to Josh Murray when he arrived at the beautiful Mexican home all of the contestants shared.  This did not sit well with Nick, who previously butted heads with Murray on The Bachelorette.  If you recall, Josh Murray won Andi Dorfman’s heart on his season of the show.  Like most The Bachelor franchise relationships, their pairing did not last very long.  Dorfman even released a tell-all book that chronicled part of her relationship with Murray.  However, it appears that Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray are totally head over heels.  They are engaged and things appear to be going rather smoothly for them.  Josh Murray, Amanda Stanton on Bachelor in Paradise Stanton has now revealed that she was embarrassed about not having a perfect family after things went south for her and ex-husband, Nick Buonfiglio. The reality TV star has now took to her blog to reveal that single moms should not give up on love. “I became a single mother when Kinsley was barely 2 and Charlie was a newborn,” Stanton shares. “My parents moved halfway across the country to St. Louis six months prior, I was trying to lose the 40 pounds I gained during pregnancy, still breastfeeding and throwing a pity party for myself while living in a family friend’s house in Malibu.” “Meanwhile, their father was dating multiple girls he was meeting on Tinder, became a regular at the local bars and was going on trips to Vegas with his friends every other weekend.” “I remember thinking it was so unfair that he could just break up our family and then go back to living his life the way he did pre-children while my world completely revolved around them.” It is nice that Stanton thought it was necessary to give fans this insight into what went down after her relationship concluded.  It’s clear she’s a great mother to both of her kids. There’s even reports they like Murray, too.  It’s kind of a win-win situation. It’s great that things are going great from them and that wedding bells are ringing.  Josh has been one of the more popular contestants on the franchise in recent years, so there’s a good chance that the two of them could get their own spin-off.  There’s something about them that’s infinitely more interesting than Ben & Lauren.  Only Freefrom cares about their next chapter.  What do you think of the blog post? Lady Mary: Downton Abbey Creator Reveals What She’s Doing Now

After six successful season, Downton Abbey may be over, but that doesn’t mean its characters stopped existing. While series creator Julianne Fellowes prepares for the Emmy Awards ( Downton is nominated in two categories ), he spoke to Deadline Hollywood at The London Hotel in West Hollywood about the impact his show has had on the American audience. Fellowes is quite proud of the way he wrapped the British series.   Instead of leaving viewers hanging as he’s done in the past, Fellowes ended things on a high note. “I feel that if an audience has been loyal to you for six years, they deserve to go away from the last episode feeling good,” he said. “And Edith, especially, deserved a happy ending. I had teased people, with the end of the series before the Christmas special—with once again, it had all gone wrong. But it came right in the end, and I wanted her to outrank Mary.” Edith had fallen in love with a man who ended up inheriting a Marquess title from his late cousin, making Edith a Marchioness, which meant she ranked higher in the British aristocratic hierarchy than Mary, who was only a Lady. Don’t worry about Mary, though. “It’s never “poor Mary,” Fellowes insists. “She would survive the 1917 Revolution. She’d become a Commissar.” What sort of life does Fellowes’ leading lady live post- Downton ? “My own belief is that Mary, whether you like her or dislike her, is a hard worker, and she’s practical. I think she will employ the kind of advice that she needs,” Fellowes predicts. “She would probably have opened the house to the public in the 1960s, as so many of them did, and she’d have retreated to a wing, and maybe only occupied the whole house during the winter.” Many families with stately homes opted to open their doors to the public, treating the estate as a sort of museum.  The money raised from admission fees would then help to keep up with the costs of running a place such as Downton Abbey. “My own belief is the Crawleys would still be there, just as the Carnarvons are today [in the real Highclere Castle, where Downton was filmed],” Fellowes said. “George [Mary’s son] would have gone to the Second World War, and of course the fear is that he would be killed. “We know that Mary is pregnant, so there’s going to be another child. “As for the title, I don’t know where it would go beyond George, but let’s hope he gets through the war and has children of his own,” Fellowes continued. “George was born in 1921, which makes him nine years younger than my father, and he only died in 1999. Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton: Moving in Together!

Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton of Bachelor in Paradise fame have brought a little piece of Paradise home. They’re moving in together! The former winner of The Bachelorette tells Us Weekly that not only are he and Amanda still a couple, they’re going to the next level . “Things are going amazing,” says the 32-year-old, who moved from Atlanta, Ga., to Stanton’s apartment in Irvine, California, this summer. “I 100 percent believe that Amanda is somebody who I could spend the rest of my life with,” the former fiance of Andi Dorfman gushed. Stanton, 26, the mother of daughters Kinsley, 4, and Charlie, 2, is equally smitten when it comes to her future with Josh Murray. “He’s so dedicated and so loyal,” she says. “He’s sweet and thoughtful and caring – it’s not just something he turns on for the cameras.” Josh Murray, Amanda Stanton on Bachelor in Paradise It certainly didn’t come easily for the lovebirds. Since Murray first arrived in Paradise , his motives were questioned by his costars, namely his one-time Bachelorette nemesis Nick Viall. Irked that Stanton had chosen Murray over him, he openly questioned whether Murray’s aim in pursuing her was simply to spite him. Not the worst assumption of all time, especially if you watch Bachelor in Paradise online . But moving cross-country for her feels legit.
