Kristin Cavallari Writes Heartbreaking Tribute To Brother Michael

Today, authorities found the body of 30-year-old Michael Cavallari, older brother of Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari. Kristin posted a touching photo of herself and Michael as young kids, with this message: “My heart is in a million pieces Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh,” Kristin wrote. “You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I’m at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP.” TMZ reports that Michael’s remains were found around 10:30 am local time today in a ” steep and very rocky ” area. “We have just been informed by the authorities my brother’s body has been found,” Kristin said in a statement to the site. “This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all.” Michael was reported missing three days ago, but his car was found abandoned on November 27th.  The San Clemente, CA native has a history of substance abuse, and had a few run-ins with the police this past fall.

Chicago Police Release Footage Of Laquan McDonald Shooting Well, the Chicago Police Department said that the video footage would be made public today , and they delivered right on schedule. The officer who shot Laquan McDonald 16 times, resulting in the 17-year-old’s death, is currently facing first degree murder charges . After looking at this heartbreaking video, we can certainly see why. We are honestly exhausted of seeing and sharing footage like this. SMH. Unsurprisingly, the video footage has caused renewed outrage, and protesters are currently taking to the streets of Chicago to protest and voice their outrage over this senseless police killing. Via CNN : Protesters took to the streets of Chicago late Tuesday after police released a graphic dash-cam video showing an officer shooting 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. McDonald was killed in October 2014. The city’s mayor has called for peace. “I believe this is a moment that can build bridges of understanding rather than become a barrier of misunderstanding. I understand that the people will be upset and will want to protest when they see this video,” Mayor Rahm Emanuel said. “We as a city must rise to this moment.” Chicago has been preparing for protests in advance of the video’s release, which was ordered by a judge to happen no later than Wednesday. Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy acknowledged that residents “have a right to be angry.” Soon after the video’s release, a group of protesters began marching, chanting “16 shots” and “We got to fight back!” McDonald died after being shot 16 times. “People have a right to be angry, people have a right to protest, people have a right to free speech,” McCarthy said. “But they do not have a right to commit criminal acts.” Of course not. Bobbi Kristina Brown: Family Opens Up About Last Moments

After months of being in a coma, Bobbi Kristina Brown died Sunday evening.  Now, just one day after her passing, Bobbi Kristina’s family is opening up about the details of Bobbi’s last moments. The 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was serenaded with Bible verses as she faded away, Pat and Gary told Entertainment Tonight. Bobbi’s extended family joined Pat and Gary for the ET interview, including Pat’s brother Ray Watson; sister-in-law Donna Houston; cousin Meeta Brown; and Wanda Shelley, a close family friend. As Bobbi Kristina passed away on Sunday, her family offered Bible verses they felt were relevant to the heartbreaking situation, such as Psalms 23’s “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” One relative mentioned that the spirit of Bobbi Kristina’s late mother was in the room.  The relative said Whitney was summoning Bobbi Kristina to the other side. Relatives told ET that when Bobbi Kristina was pronounced dead at 8:17 pm, the family, who had been by her side for six months, chanted “Hallelujah.” Bobbi Kristina’s funeral is planned for Thursday in Atlanta.  The family said they plan on making the funeral a celebration of her life and “the Sweet 16 she never had.” Director Tyler Perry, who is a close family friend, is assisting with the arrangements. The family also disclosed more information about Bobbi Kristina’s drug problem.  They mentioned that she was planning on going to rehab before she was found unconscious in her bathtub on January 31. They also claimed that Bobbi Kristina didn’t want her partner Nick Gordon around for her transition into rehab. Though the autopsy revealed no evidence of foul play, Bobbi Kristina’s death may be investigated as a homicide .  Nick Gordon has been identified as a person of interest. TLC Issues Statement, Is "Saddened and Troubled" by Josh Duggar Scandal

TLC has confirmed its decision to pull 19 Kids and Counting from its upcoming schedule. With fallout continuing from the Josh Duggar child molestation scandal, the cable network has issued the following statement as it ponders what to do next about the reality show: Effective immediately, TLC has pulled all episodes of 19 Kids and Counting currently from the air. We are deeply saddened and troubled by this heartbreaking situation, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family and victims at this difficult time. TLC had planned to air five episodes of 19 Kids and Counting throughout next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, as well as during the first week of June. They are now all off the schedule. The network had little choice but to make this move (and, in our opinion, to soon cancel the series outright) after Josh Duggar admitted yesterday that he molested multiple young girls. As detailed in a grisly police report, the incidents took place when Duggar was a teenager – and some of the victims were his sisters . “Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret,” Duggar said, adding: “I hurt others, including my family and close friends … I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation.” It remains unclear just what these steps entailed, but a new report alleges Duggar was treated at an institute founded by an accused sex criminal. The statute of limitations is now over, meaning Josh cannot be prosecuted for his alleged crimes. Josh’s wife Anna, and parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, have also released statements supporting the reality star. But will we ever see any of them on television again? That is now the question. Nicki Minaj is doing what she does best in the latest issue of V Magazine: Popping her rear end. Keeping it real. First, in a spread snapped by photographer Mario Testino, the female rapper shows off her rather impressive asset: Then, she tells the publication about why her lyrics are sometimes considered controversial. “I always push the envelope because I’m Nicki Minaj. I have to,” she says. “No matter who I’m on a song with, I feel like I have to say at least one thing that no one else is willing to say. “Whether it’s Madonna or [ Britney Spears ] or Beyoncé, they always tell me, ‘YES. Be yourself. Talk your s–t.” Of course, as a result, plenty of s–t has been talked about Minaj by her critics. But this doesn’t mean Nicki doesn’t see herself as a role model. “I love women who take control, who set standards, and who believe in themselves enough to lead the way in terms of their career. I’ve done that. When I win and when I lose, I take ownership of it, because I really am in charge of what I do. “There are a lot of strong male rappers, who’ve influenced me a great deal in terms of my skill, my flow, and my business-savvy side. Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult have rekindled the flame and are now back together, six months after breaking up, according to an Us report. The attractive X-Men: Days of Future Past co-stars began to renew the romance while filming the sequel to the sci-fi action flick this spring. “They started the shoot in April as friends, and then one day they just started kissing,” a source said. “One thing led to another and they hooked up.” “All her old feelings came rushing back.
