Grace Vanderwaal: What Is She Spending Her $1 Million On?

Grace Vanderwaal is the 12-year-old that the whole world is probably talking about right now.  From the moment she showed up on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, it a super clear that she was a very talented in young girl.  That’s what ultimately sent her all the way to the end of the competition and ultimately winning the whole thing.  She may well be the singer-songwriter that changes the industry.  It’s not very often nowadays that artists as young as Vanderwaal hit it big being a singer-songwriter, but it’s pretty clear she’s just getting started.  She’s been compared to the likes of Taylor Swift and has been praised for her unique voice.  One of the perks of winning talent series is that she will receive $1 million.  That’s a whole lot of money for a young girl, but what does she plan on spending it on? Grace VanderWaal Wins! Vanderwaal wants to give some of her winnings to charity .  That’s a very mature thing to say. Right?! Usually when kids get money, they want to get the latest toys, but not Grace.  A luxury she does want is a treehouse, but aside from that, it seems like she’s pretty grounded in reality and doesn’t want anything extravagant.  The judges were quick to praise Vanderwaal for winning this summer’s edition of the show.  She was up against a lot of talented individuals, but she emerged as the most popular.  Grace VanderWaal – “Clay” Howie Mandel took an early shine to the contestant.  “The most amazing thing about Grace is that you haven’t heard anybody who sounds like her,” he says. “You haven’t heard any lyrics from somebody that is like her, and we’ve been saying to her, you are the most unique, brightest star to come out of one of these shows.” The young star even sent Simon Cowell all the way back 14 years to when Kelly Clarkson won the first season of American Idol.  “That moment at the end, it reminded me of the Kelly Clarkson moment. You know, when they said, ‘And the winner is Kelly Clarkson,’ ” Cowell says. “I kind of had that same feeling again when they read her name out, and I saw her reaction and she was literally in pieces. I like that though.” Grace VanderWaal Lights Up the Sky on America’s Got Talent The rest of the judges had similar sentiments.  Even host, Nick Cannon chimed in with his thoughts on Vanderwaal.  “I’m not going to say I called it, but I’ve been saying that young girl is a superstar since the moment that I met her,” he says. “Her energy. Bethenny Frankel on Jules Wainsten: I Knew It!

Bethenny Frankel is probably the most pivotal characters on The Real Housewives of New York City.  She can effortlessly create drama from thin air and it keeps us tuning in every damn week to watch just how much she can stir the damn pot.  Her latest words surrounded her claims that Jules and Michael Wainstein signing a post-nuptial agreement before filming kicked off on the Bravo reality series.  Bethanny bashed Jules for using the show to showcase her divorce to Michael.  It was all pretty bizarre and made the reunion special pretty awkward to watch.  Jules was playing the sympathy card and acting all shocked about her marriage crumbling and even brushed off Bethenny’s claims.  Now, it appears that Bethanny was totally right about the whole thing.  Who would have thought it? A source close to the situation revealed to Radar Online that Bethenny was right.  It really raises a whole lot of questions about just how fake everything was with Jules on the show.  If she planned on using her divorce as a storyline for the hit series, it really puts things in perspective.  It’s not uncommon for reality TV shows to be manipulated in some way, but what Jules did was just deplorable.  Maybe she knew that was the only way of her getting on the show, but it still doesn’t explain why she lasted just one season.  “Jules and Michael were with Bethenny a few times and that is why she could say that she knew them,” the source explained. “Jules and Michael told her about their marriage problems one time at her house before they started taping the show.” “They didn’t blatantly say ‘we are getting divorced for the show,'” the source explained.”  View Slideshow: 19 Real Housewives Who Only Lasted One Season “Just that they had a pretty good idea that their marriage was having problems. They did talk about it with her, and she knew it was going to happen.” There’s no denying that Bethenny is super smart. She collects information and uses it to her advantage when the opportunity arises.  Just look at the way she revealed Tom D’Agostino was doing the dirty on LuAnn de Lesseps.  It’s not like LuAnn believed any of it. Kailyn Lowry: Bashing Javi Marroquin on Twitter?!

Ever since we learned that  Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin are breaking up , both parties have maintained that their first priority is their son, and they plan to keep the split as amicable as possible. However, their social media feeds tell a different tale. Javi has accused Kailyn of cheating on Twitter. Kailyn has thrown subtle shade at Javi on Instagram. And both of them have liked and retweeted fans who bashed the other party on their behalf. To their credit, Kailyn and Javi do seem like they’re trying to get along for their kid’s sake and for their own mental health, but that’s often easier said than done. Kailyn in particular seems to do her level best to take the high road. Even when it was revealed that Javi is already dating (and was probably doing so even before the terms of their divorce were settled), she opted not to trash her ex on social media. Today, however, it seems that Kailyn is just not having it. Based on her latest Twitter activity, it seems someone seriously pissed Lowry off. Kailyn hasn’t mentioned Javi by name, but naturally, drama-loving Teen Mom 2 fans are assuming that it’s Javi. “There’s too many people in the world to keep someone around for no reason,” Kailyn tweeted earlier today. Last night, she was feeling a bit more wistful, and dropped this on her followers: “I fell in love with the unattainable.” Yet again, of course, everyone assumed that she was talking about Javi. Obviously, when someone pines for a lost love on social media, the assumption is they’re talking about their most recent ex. But it’s possible that that may not be Javi. There have been rumors that  Kailyn is dating  someone new as well, which may help to explain why she was so chill about the news that Javi has moved on. Is it possible that Kailyn’s new relationship has already come to an end? Whatever the case, her recent Instagram posts seem to indicate that she’s currently filming new episodes of the series that made her famous, so we’ll get to find out what all this drama is about soon enough. Denzel Washington Slams Meme, Needs to Lighten Up

Turns out, there's one thing Denzel Washington can do even better than act. And that is this: Not possess a sense of humor. The Oscar-winning actor sat down for an interview this week alongside director Antoine Fuqua, the man behind the camera for Denzel's next film, The Magnificent Seven. It opens on September 23. In the following clip, Washington is asked about the meme that spread around the Internet last year after Washington showed up for the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao boxing match with quite an impressive mustache. He was also wearing the sort of track suit one would not expect to see on Denzel Washington. You remember that meme, right? Here is one example of it: And here is another: And here is another: Pretty funny, right? Not to Denzel. When asked for his thoughts on the meme, Washington replied as follows: “If I had my wallet, I’d show it to you. Because they didn’t know what I was doing. They don’t need to know.” We're not entirely sure what the first part of that statement means. But Denzel was NOT smiling when he uttered it. The mustache was for this role in The Magnificent Seven, which Washington then used as a platform to sit down and preach. “Those who can, do. Those who can’t , talk about those who can ,” he said. “Are you just one that sits on the sideline to talk about other people, or can you step up?” He was so proud of this statement that he said it twice to the interviewer, just to make sure he got it all in order to Tweet it to his followers. Sheesh! Sorry, Denzel. Sorry we tried to have a bit of fun with your facial hair. We'll never make that mistake again and we'll take a long, hard look in the mirror in order to reassess our life. Alexis Arquette Funeral Plans Revealed; Famous Siblings Pay Tribute

As we reported yesterday, actress, model, and transgender activist Alexis Arquette passed away at 12:32 am on the Sunday morning. Though no official cause of death has been revealed, sources have indicated that Arquette died from complications from AIDS . Some insiders have claimed that she had also been diagnosed with an inoperable tumor. Her family has not confirmed the cause of death, but in the social media post in which he announced her passing, Alexis’ brother Richmond Arquette did indicate that she had been battling an illness and recently took a turn for the worse. “Our brother Robert, who became our brother Alexis, who became our sister Alexis, who became our brother Alexis, passed this morning,” Richmond wrote. “He was surrounded by all of his brothers and sisters, one of his nieces and several other loved ones.” He added that Alexis had outlined for her family exactly how she wanted them to pay their respects: “As per his wishes, we cheered at the moment that he transitioned to another dimension,” he revealed. The claim that Alexis was suffering from both cancer and AIDS comes from a former boyfriend named Robert Dupont, who added that the 47-year-old was in a medically induced coma at the time of her death. Other sources have since confirmed that Alexis had been diagnosed with AIDS. Now, Alexis’ famous family members are paying tribute on social media and planning for a funeral that they hope will serve as a fitting tribute to her unique spirit. “Alexis’s family are very close and they are planning a private service of their own this week in L.A., followed by a very private burial service,” a source close to the Arquettes tells Radar Online. “Alexis is expected to be buried this week in L.A. and the Arquette family has asked, that in lieu of flowers, her friends and fans donate to LGBT causes and charities.”  On social media, meanwhile, David Arquette has been thanking fans for their support and sharing fond memories of Alexis. “Thank you all for your love and kind words about Alexis,” the actor tweeted this afternoon. “My hero for eternity.” Patricia Arquette tweeted recordings of several of Alexis’ favorite songs, including David Bowie’s “Star Man”, which the family says was playing at the moment she passed. JonBenet Ramsey: Brother Burke Remembers 6-Year-Old’s Funeral

Burke Ramsey is one of two surviving members of the Colorado family that lost daughter JonBenet in December 1996. Ahead of the 20th anniversary of the beauty pageant participant's death, Burke has agreed to a sit-down with Dr. Phil. There's something off about the 29-year-old, something creepy in the way he smiles and the way his eyes shift here and there while he talks. In the latest clip from Dr. Phil's three-part interview , Burke spoke briefly about JonBenet's funeral. “Yah, I remember the viewing. I remember the casket was small and her eyes were closed,” Burke said. “I think one of her eyes was a little droopy or something. I thought that was weird.” Dr. Phil asked what was going through Burke's mind when he saw his sister like that. “That was weird,” he shared. “That was traumatizing a little bit.” “It was a lot of sadness. I don't think I fully grasped, like 'After this, I won't see her again.' “I remember my parents being really upset. I can remember my dad leaning down and giving her a kiss.”   For as awkward as he appears to be, Burke doesn't mince words when it comes to the media storm that has encircled his life for the past twenty years. “I know people think I did it; that my parents did it,” Burke said of the murder, in which JonBenet was found in the basement of the family's home. The first thing I remember is my mom bursting into my room really frantic saying ‘Oh my gosh, oh my gosh,’ running around my room, now, I know, looking for JonBenet.” Burke also remembers the TV vans and camera crews that have been in his face over the years. “Seeing that as a little kid is just kind of a chaotic nightmare, so I was pretty skeptical of any sort of media, it just made me a very private person,” Burke revealed. “As to what I’m doing now, it’s the 20th anniversary and apparently still a lot of tension around it, I guess I kind of wanted to make it about remembering her and not just another news story.” While Burke is telling his side, former suspect John Mark Karr claims he knows exactly who killed the six-year-old, but will take his secret to the grave.   “I’m going to protect every person that needs to be protected ,” Mark Karr told producers of the three-part documentary, JonBenet: An American Murder  Mystery. “Maybe God up in Heaven will forgive me for some of the things that I did to help other people!” JonBenet: An American Murder Mystery miniseries premieres tonight on Investigation Discovery at 10 p.m.

Ryan Lochte: ATTACKED by Protestors on Dancing with the Stars!

Soon after Ryan Lochte was named a Dancing with the Stars participant, we made it very clear that we didn’t think  Ryan Lochte  should have been named a Dancing with the Stars participant. But that doesn’t mean we condone any sort of violence against the controversial swimmer. Not at all. Stunningly, however, the 12-time Olympic medalist was at the center of a scary protest on Monday night. Soon after Lochte and Cheryl Burke completed their opening number of Season 21, two men in white t-shirts – with a red circle and line over Lochte’s last name – ran on to the stage from the audience. ABC viewers simply saw Carrie Ann Inaba critiquing Lochte’s Foxtrot before acting very confused and telling the men to “back off.” You can then hear host Tom Bergeron cut to an early commercial. Here. Take a look for yourself at what took place on the broadcast: Dancing with the Stars Shocker: Ryan Lochte Faces Protest After Bergeron announced the commercial break, four women in similar shirts as the protestor continued to boo Lochte from their seats in the audience. Later in the evening, ABC released different angles of the incident. After a tumultuous first four episodes of the fall, what wild and crazy ISH went down Monday night on Teen Mom OG Season 3 Episode 5 ? Watch Teen Mom OG Season 3 Episode 5 Online On the latest installment of the MTV franchise, the fab four went through highs and lows as always – some more profound than others. Speaking of profound moments, ladies and gentlemen: “You know what I wonder? If the earth is a circle, how does the water always stay? Gravity?” Farrah Abraham said, dropping serious knowledge. “But the water is a little bit more heavier than gravity.”  “I love when clouds touch mountains or whatever.” Apropos of nothing, but we couldn’t not include that.  If you  watch Teen Mom OG online , you know that Farrah and Simon Saran have had a tumultuous relationship to say the very least. Well, Teen Mom OG Season 3 Episode 5 was no exception as Simon flew to Hawaii to make up and make out with her post- Easter Gate . Of course, nothing with Farrah is every that easy. The trip was an total bust, for a variety of reasons. Simon and his sometime porn star GF promptly got into it about how “fake” the other one is, and he ended up getting ditched on the curb. Seriously. Along with his “day bag.” Asked if she’s in love with Simon, Farrah responded, “I don’t think I need to be concerned of if I love someone right now.” “It’s more or less repairing what was already started. And it’s slowly getting there. But I’m like, why isn’t it there already?” A very good, and deep question. Simon and Farrah may not last, but he recently said Farrah is a great mom , so it looks like they’ve made up, if not made out, recently. Not his total number of children. Sorry. Low blow? Too soon? In all seriousness, it was a good time as daughter Leah came along with Amber’s old cellmate, Nicole, who is also out of prison now. Nicole is the only other member of their prison crew to make it out to the real world, so this was a big deal for Ambs and rightfully so. “She was my best friend,” Amber said. “And we’re actually the only two out of our friends who have made it and haven’t went back in.” Portwood’s prison days seem a distant memory lately, and that’s to her credit and she really has turned her life around in every sense. Still, personal struggles remain. “We all have different problems on this show, but for some odd reason, I’m so depressed,” she revealed. “I’m bipolar and manic depressive.” “I’m borderline personality. I’m diagnosed with every single one of those. I’m on my medications for it,” Amber added, but she cautioned: Given her problems with drug abuse in the past, her medications are non-narcotics and they are closely monitored, so that’s a relief. We wish her the best. Poor girl. Maci Bookout: Overwhelmed By Wedding Plans?! Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney just bought a house, but now they’re buying a new one due to the whole unexpected third pregnancy. Taylor also got a tattoo of their unborn baby’s name (Maverick), which begged the question of what happens if he turns out to be a girl. Sonograms, or the technicians reading them, have been wrong before, so it’s not far-fetched. Maci’s take on this hilarious hypothetical? “Ryan was supposed to be a girl.” “Not f–king surprising at all.” LOL. Finally, Catelynn Lowell went to rehab for mental health treatment, and Tyler Baltierra was in shambles, literally pained for his spouse. “[She’s] like a log just rolling through days,” he told Teen Mom: OG producers, reflecting on how Cate needs help and telling his wife: “You’re not f–ked up, honey. Things happen.” “As long as we don’t mask it no more, and we fix it,” he said, everything will be alright, and Catelynn seemed to take all that to heart.  “I probably wont come home and smoke [pot],” she said. “Actually, I should just start saying I wont come home and smoke ever again.” “I feel like I’m a crack addict or something.” Not a crack addict, but getting help is never a bad thing when you’re struggling. The Vampire Diaries Season 8: First Promo!

We're about to kick off the beginning of the end on The Vampire Diaries. And maybe for Damon Salvatore as well? In the first official trailer for The Vampire Diaries Season 8 , Damon is still possessed by whatever the heck was in that vault to close out Season 7. He's telling Stefan that it's the beginning of the end for him, which a bit meta, of course, since October 21 will also mark the beginning of the end for The Vampire Diaries itself. That is, the drama will say farewell about its upcoming 16 episodes. What can we expect from those installments? Based on the following footage, Bonnie will be all “in” when it comes to saving Enzo and Damon from whatever darkness has engulfed their souls. Stefan, meanwhile, is trying to get to the bottom of what was in that vault… … while also finding time to get it on with Caroline. There's also a whole lot of blood, chaos and violence teased in the following video. What else would you expect from the final season of The Vampire Diaries? The main questions fans are asking, of course, is whether or not Nina Dobrev will return for the series finale as Elena Gilbert. Creator Julie Plec has made it very clear that this is a strong possibility. As for what else we can expect from The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 1 and beyond? It's too early to say for certain right now. Do you want to see the show go out on a happy note? A sad note? Do you want to see all loose ends tied up?
