Ever since Teresa Giudice began serving her 15-month prison sentence for bankruptcy fraud back in January, rumors about Joe Giudice cheating on her have seemed to pop up every week. At first, Teresa denied that Joe was cheating and refused to even entertain the possibility. Now, sources close to the incarcerated Housewife say that she’s accepted the fact that Joe’s been satisfying his urges while she’s in prison, and while she’s not exactly cool with his infidelity, she has no plans to leave him over it. One insider tells Life & Style that Teresa was raised to believe that women should turn a blind eye to unfaithful husbands: “She isn’t stupid, she knows he cheats. But she won’t leave him. Teresa comes from that old-school Italian philosophy that says men have needs and appetites. She just wishes Joe were more discreet about it.” Another source says Teresa blames herself, and believes that her imprisonment left Joe with no other choice but to sleep around. Obviously, those justifications are ludicrous for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that, by his own admission, it’s Joe’s fault that Teresa is in prison . “Every night when she’s in prison, Teresa is worried that Joe is with another woman,” says one source. “Joe is a total pig. I mean, he is just so out of control with his cheating, it’s amazing she’s stood by him.” That Juicy Joe is quite a guy. Hopefully, this open marriage thing works both ways and Teresa will have free rein to get it in with whomever she pleases while he’s serving his 41-month sentence.
Back in August, Kim Richards was sentenced for kicking a cop who was attempting to arrest her for her drunk and disorderly conduct at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Today, Richards went before a judge again, this time to be sentenced for shoplifting from a Target store over the summer. Once again, lady luck (along with an expensive legal team) was in the troubled Housewife’s corner. Instead of jail time, Richards was sentenced to 300 hours of community service, 52 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and three years probation. It’s the exact same sentence she received for the cop-kicking incident. It may sound like Kim is gonna be sitting through a lot AA meetings and spending the rest of her life picking up trash by the side of the freeway, but the judge decided to allow Kim to serve the sentence concurrently. So yeah, in his weird, roundabout way, he basically let Kim off scot-free. Of course, she’s banned from Target for life, but if you’ve ever intended to go in there for a new toothbrush and walked out with two full shopping carts an hour later, you know that might not be such a bad thing. Obviously, Kim got off incredibly easy, but at least it wasn’t a total slap on the wrist. After her first sentencing, Kim petitioned the court to allow her to do community service, instead of community labor, as she claimed that a knee injury made her unable to do the kind of crappy, menial work that she’s been paying other people to do her whole life. But Caitlyn Jenner actually celebrated the 66-year anniversary of her coming into this world with an early lunch on Tuesday. The former Olympic Gold Medalist got the festivities started yesterday via a date with daughter Kylie Jenner and step-daughters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian With an E! camera crew on hand (of course), the women got together at The Villa Restaurant in Woodland Hills, California, joined there by Kourtney’s three-year old daughter Penelope. As you can see above, Kylie did what Kylie often does, snapping a selfie at the family lunch to commemorate the special day. “Early birthday lunch with @caitlynjenner Happy birthday dad what an amazing year for you,” she wrote as a caption. That’s for sure. Caitlyn started the year as Bruce Jenner. She then opened up about her desire to transition into womanhood during an April 24 sit-down on ABC with Diane Sawyer. Vicki Gunvalson, the last woman standing from The Real Housewives of Orange County’s inception, may be on her way out if her co-stars get their way. The “O.G. of the O.C.” has been there since day one, and here in Season 10, acts like she runs the show as a de facto producer on the hit Bravo series. That’s precisely what’s rubbing everyone else the wrong way. “The women are all trying to have Vicki fired ,” a RHOC source said. “The [cast members] all are sick of Vicki and feel like she shouldn’t be on the show anymore. They’ve been talking about refusing to film with her.” After spending the better part of the season fighting with Meghan King Edmonds, Tamra Barney, Shannon Beador, Vicki is shorter on allies than ever. Yes, the whole Brooks Ayers fake cancer drama was that polarizing. Vicki’s oft-maligned boyfriend was a lightning rod for controversy on his best day. Then he was accused of faking a life-threatening illness. And he’s threatening to sue Edmonds , Beador, even Vicki herself. Gunvalson does have Andy Cohen on her side, however, which is key: “Andy has always said that Vicki is his favorite Housewife out of them all.” Who’s first, Lisa Vanderpump? Neither here nor there … Vicki also has something else important to back her up: “She made sure that her deal said that only she can break the contract. Kim Richards’ drinking problem has been common knowledge for years, but thankfully, the troubled Housewife is finally seeking out the most intensive form of treatment available to her. Granted, Kim had to get arrested for kicking a cop and basically alienate her entire family before she realized the severity of her problem, but the important thing is, she’s finally getting the help she needs! You may remember that Kim ditched rehab to go to her daughter’s wedding last month, and proceeded to get so drunk at the reception that the bride is no longer speaking with her mother. That’s not the kind of behavior that’s gonna help Kim’s chances in her upcoming trial, so in a last-ditch effort to convince the judge she’s on the path to self-improvement, she has reportedly signed up for the Navy SEAL boot camp version of rehab. “Kim entered inpatient treatment late Wednesday night,” a source close to Kim tells Radar Online. “It’s a program that last up to two years!” The timing was no accident. The first preliminary hearing in Kim’s court case was held this morning. Kim did not attend, and instead, her lawyers explained the nature of her new, long-term treatment program to the judge. It was previously reported that Kim moved out of her house and put her things in storage in preparation for lengthy period of in-patient treatment, but apparently, even her closest family and friends didn’t realize she was planning to check in for at least a year.
