Jana Duggar: Edited Out of 19 Kids and Counting?!

If you watch 19 Kids and Counting online , then you know that Jana Duggar plays a unique role in her family. Sources say Jana is exhausted from a lifetime of helping to raise her many, many siblings, and it’s not hard to see why. TLC cameras often capture Jana performing thankless tasks while her younger brothers and sisters are free to live the worry-free lives of typical children and young adults (except without any sinful behavior like hand-holding, naturally). Of course, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are very conscious of the way they’re portrayed in the media, and they can’t be pleased by the various ” free Jana ” campaigns that have sprung up online. So, perhaps it’s for that reason that Jana was carefully and completely edited out of a recent episode of 19 Kids: In 19 Kids and Counting Season 14 Episode 16 , Anna and Josh Duggar took a trip with their three children and described it as their first vacation without other family members pitching in to help with the kids. Watch 19 Kids and Counting Season 14 Episode 16 Online What viewers didn’t see is that Anna and Josh were joined by Jana, who was, of course, tasked with helping to care for the her niece and nephews. It was only after fans of the show noticed that Jana appeared in photos taken during the road trip that a source close to the series finally admitted Jana’s scenes had been cut from the episode: “The producers wanted to showcase they way Josh and Anna interact with their kids,” the insider tells OK! magazine. Yeesh. As though it wasn’t bad enough that she’s forced to constantly care for an ever-expanding brood, now TLC is attempting to hide Jana’s labors from viewers? Hopefully those rumors about Jana and Tim Tebow are true. This girl needs to break out on her own and start breeding some disappointing quarterbacks. Jana Duggar Photos: So Beautiful, So Maligned 1. Jana Marie Duggar Jana Marie Duggar is so beautiful … and put upon, supposedly, by a family that relies on her to help take care of the others but never have a life of her own. If that’s true, it’s sad. Is it time for her to break free?

13 Biggest Duggar Family Scandals: Will They Force TLC to Cancel 19 Kids & Counting?

The Duggar family is at the center of massive controversy this week, with more than 120,000 people signing a petition to cancel 19 Kids and Counting . It’s far from the first time they’ve faced heavy scrutiny, however. In many ways, the family’s most recent scandal is a culmination of many. The petition was actually started months ago, only to gain traction recently. Here’s a look back at 13 times the TLC stars faced backlash … 13 Biggest Duggar Family Scandals 1. Jessa Gets Strapped Jessa Duggar and her then-boyfriend Ben Seewald began courting controversy almost from the moment they started dating, posing for photos like this one – a picture that now seems tame considering what they’ve been stirring up more recently. The Duggars, as we all know, are conservative individuals. Staunch ones at that, standing out among today’s TV offerings, drawing many like-minded viewers. But their earnest, authentic way of life also has a broader appeal. As more people watch 19 Kids and Counting online and their fame has grown due to social and traditional media, so has the criticism they face quite often. The family’s views on dating, courting, marriage and child-rearing are noteworthy enough, but they’ve also proven polarizing on political and religions grounds. Outspoken opponents of abortion, birth control, gay marriage and even evolution, Duggar family members have made many eyebrow-raising headlines of late. From patriarch and matriarch Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald , her now-husband, it seems like everyone is getting in on the act. Scroll through the gallery above to look back on some of their most notorious scandals, and tell us: Do you think TLC will cave to the public pressure? As more and more people urge the network to pull the plug on the hit reality show, they will likely be forced to at least address the controversy in some form. Will they cancel arguably the most powerful family on TV ? That remains to be seen, and is probably a long shot for those pushing this petition so hard. Nevertheless, it’s left the family, their beliefs and their way of life under the microscope like never before, even as they enjoy such widespread popularity. 9 Things BANNED in the Duggar Family 1. Dates Without Chaperones The Duggar parents often accompany their children on dates in order to maintain their “accountability” and “keep things from going in the wrong direction,” per Jim Bob. The girls are fine with this, as being alone with men puts them in grave “moral danger.” When the parents aren’t available, their older siblings will often tag along, making every date a group date and a family affair.

Supernatural Season 10 Episode 2 Recap: Return to the Impala

We kicked off Supernatural Season 10 Episode 2 by going back June 21, 2003, where a 13-year-old Cole wakes up to find that his dad has been killed by Dean. We know, of course, that the man was possessed because Dean is gripping his demon-killing knife, but someone try telling that to Cole. He has spent his entire life readying for his revenge. And step one of that Emily Thorne-esque plan involves beating up Sam for intel. Watch Supernatural Season 10 Episode 2 Online However, Cole then receives a family phone call and Sam uses the opening to grab the first old truck he can find, calling Castiel for help. After learning Dean is a demon, Castiel agrees to meet up with Sam to find his brother – but he gets a tad sidetracked when he falls asleep behind the wheel, causing him and Hannah to hang out at a mechanic’s house while the car is fixed. Remember the days when Cas could have just zapped himself away somewhere? It’s then back on the road for Cas and Hannh… except he falls asleep again. So Hannah takes the sandbox to heaven to ask a favor of Metatron. Will he hand over some of Castiel’s grace for his freedom? No, Castiel interrupts and says he won’t allow Metatron to escape. (NOTE: The latter goes on to to refer to Castiel here as “ASStiel,” hehe.) Dean, meanwhile, gets angry when a strip club tells him he can’t touch the naked workers. He goes outside and there’s Crowley, who goes for a drink with his protege. He tells Dean he must kill or he’ll snap, so Dean agrees to murder a cheating wife… only for the husband to get home and refer to Dean as a “freak” and bite it himself instead. Crowley is now angry over being cost a soul. Crowley dumps Dean off on Sam after the two fight about whether Dean is on Team Human or Team Demon, with Sam finding Dean playing piano at a bar. Although Dean says he doesn’t want to be cured, Sam tell him that it’s time to go home. But then Cole shows up and knocks Sam out, finally coming to face off with his nemesis. Seeing Cole kill himself to attempt and get to Dean – with Dean not  taking him seriously at all – was the best moment of the hour. Heck, Dean even makes a Princess Bride reference. However, Dean doesn’t kill Cole. In letting him go, he provides Sam with enough time to grab some holy water and handcuffs and secure Dean in the backseat of the Impala. From there, Sam goes to meet Crowley and hands over the First Blade, which Crowley claims he wants for safety. In the car ride home, Sam says letting Cole survive was proof of Dean’s humanity. But Dean counters that allowing Cole to live with his loss after a lifetime of preparation was a fate worse than death. And then Dean threatens Sam while calling him “Sammy.” Darn. These two still have a long way to go. What did you think of the installment? 19 Kids and Counting Season 14 Episode 12 Recap: The Wedding Countdown is ON!

On TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting Season 14 Episode 12 Tuesday night, Duggar family fans saw the countdown to Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s wedding in full swing. We know how THAT turned out, if you know what we’re saying! NOTE: We’re saying they got married and she’s pregnant. Just because we all know the happy ending doesn’t make 19 Kids and Counting Season 14 Episode 12 any less fun to watch, of course, as we go behind the scenes. With the wedding right around the corner, Jill’s parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are hosting weekly counseling sessions with the soon to be newlyweds. Not that they need them. These kids have good heads on their shoulders and are clearly all in when it comes to the Duggar family dating rules and such. Meanwhile, Jill’s siblings, from the lovely Jana Duggar all the way down to the littlest ones, are starting to realize that she’s leaving the nest, and it’s bittersweet. In this week’s counseling session, the pair talks finances, and Derick – a hard worker who knows how to save, and be frugal – is cut from the same cloth. Next up is making sure their temporary home – the fixer upper Jim Bob bought not too long ago – is furnished before they move in after their wedding. Naturally, that means used furniture and electronics. The auction turns out to be a blast, and by the time it’s over Jill and Derick have almost everything they need for their first home together. So sweet! One thing we can all be jealous of when we watch 19 Kids and Counting online is home renovations and moving. They have the skills AND the manpower! Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard Photos: True Love Timeline 1. Their First Meeting (Sort Of)! The Arkansas natives grew up within 45 minutes of each other, but didn’t meet until late 2011. Jill recalled when Derick stopped by while caroling with a church group, and not long after, “Derick contacted my dad and asked if he would be a prayer partner during his two-year term in Nepal.” With all of Jill’s siblings pitching in, and Ben Seewald to boot, there’s nothing they can’t tackle, giving new meaning to the term strength in numbers. Perhaps the coolest part is that even when they’re not naturally inclined to do a job, as we saw when they redid the carpeting, they’re willing to learn. Meanwhile the Duggar extended family starts to arrive for the festivities, including Jill’s brother, the first of the 19 kids Josh Duggar, and his wife Anna. They have three kids of their own, born around the same time as some of Josh’s siblings, making their aunts and uncles nearly the same age as them. Crazy! Josh also helps Jill and Derick secure a slick black truck for their wedding “getaway” vehicle, borrowing it from a friend for the special day. What a guy. Meanwhile, Anna joined the Duggar sisters at Jill’s new home for a decorating party, and even though they have a blast, they are sad to let Jill go as well. Jill is also feeling a bit nostalgic during one of her last outings with her sisters – to get their nails done – even as she can’t wait to marry the love of her life. That’s the way life goes, sometimes. 9 Things BANNED in the Duggar Family 1. Jill and Derick’s wedding special will air October 28, just two weeks from now. We have a feeling the episode will be as magical as you expect and more.

Jana Duggar: Exhausted From Lifetime of Helping Raise Siblings, Source Says

During a recent episode of 19 Kids and Counting, fans of the show took to social media to express their outrage at the mistreatment suffered by Jana Duggar , the eldest daughter of Michelle and Jim Bob. In the episode, Jana was forced to work tirelessly in preparation for Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s wedding , while the rest of the family enjoyed an afternoon tea party.  The incident gave credence to rumors that Jana is planning to break away from her family in order to start a life of her own, in which she won’t be forced to shoulder the burden of helping to raise her sixteen younger siblings. “It’s absolutely ridiculous how much the family makes Jana and the older siblings do,” a source close to the Duggars tells Radar Online. “Jim Bon and Michelle have totally transitioned a lot of their parental responsibilities on to her.” “Ever since she was young, she would have to watch the house while Michelle and Jim Bob would go out on date night alone.” “She looks so tired and worn down sometimes,” the insider adds. “You can’t help but feel bad for her, having to take on that responsibility at such a young age. It’s like she’s been a parent ever since she was 13!” With one of Jana’s younger sisters already married, and Jessa Duggar engaged to Ben Seewald , many fans have speculated that Michelle and Jim Bob have sabotaged Jana’s love life in order to keep her at home. According to the strict Duggar courtship rules , suitors must be hand-picked by Jim Bob, and the patriarch doesn’t seem to be making much of an effort to find a suitable partner for Jana. Watch 19 Kids and Counting online to decide for yourself if Jana is unfairly burdened or if she’s just pitching in to help her huge family. 9 Things BANNED in the Duggar Family 1. Supernatural Season 10 Episode 1 Recap: A Man of His Word

We kicked off Supernatural Season 10 Episode 1 with Sam torturing a demon in order to learn the location of Crowley and Dean. Upon slicing her throat, Sam was told: “Whatever soul you had, whatever Boy Scout code you cuddled up to at night, it’s all gone.” So… yeah. It was a nice and bright opening few moments. Cut to four weeks later and Sam still has no idea where to find his brother. Neither does Castiel who admits to missing Dean and wonders: is the real Dean even still out there? Or has the demon taken over completely? We then do finally see Dean, as he’s enjoying some karaoke, not caring one bit that everyone’s booing him. He also hooks up with a waitress, casually dismisses her afterward and beats up her abusive boyfriend. Badly. Oh, and he kills a number of Abaddon’s groupies with the First Blade. However, as Sam later discovers, they were actually sent by Crowley, who’s attempting to keep Dean at the ready for their professional future. Sam vows to save Dean, but Crowley comes back at him by saying it’s not what Dean’s become that bothers him. “You can’t stand the fact that he’s mine,” he states. “Dean Winchester completes me.” Yup, move over, Jerry Maguire! Crowley’s mission? To “create the perfect Hell” with Demon Dean’s assistance, telling him they’re just “moving the party” and leaving Dean to contemplate this offer. Meanwhile, another hunter named Cole is after Dean, unaware of what’s he’s turned into. He kidnaps Sam in the process, as we lean that something went down between Cole and Dean many years ago and “now he’s prey, and I’m the monster,” according to Cole. He then phones Dean to demand a trade. However, he’s not about to to go save his sibling, instead just telling Cole that he’ll find him one day. And kill him very dead, of course. We cut back to Castiel for a minute as Hannah pays him a visit, seeking assistance with two rogue angels (Daniel and Adina) who murdered one of them own for trying to bring them home. Once this pair is found, Castiel kills Daniel to save Hannah’s life, while Adina escapes. Cas is left to wonder if he’s been on Earth for too long. “There’s seemingly nothing but chaos,” he says. And that applies to the Winchesters certainly, as Dean tells Cole after the latter threatens to kill Sam: “I told him to let me go, so any jam he’s in now, that is his problem… He knows damn sure that if I am one thing, I am a man of my word.” EEK! Bad Girls Club Season 13 Episode 1 Recap: Judi Needs More Than a Little Redemption

Bad Girls Club Season 13 Episode 1, the premiere of Bad Girls Club: Redemption, reassembled nine familiar faces from previous seasons of the hit show. You can only imagine how that turned out. Totally drama-free (not). No, Bad Girls Club Season 13 Episode 1 served as a fitting premiere to a season Oxygen has billed as “the best of the bad.” So bad, it can only be good. The cast members have been assembled to learn under the tutelage of Life Coach Laura, in a bid to control their tempers and reach their full potential. Watch Bad Girls Club Season 13 Episode 1 Online The BGC cast: Alyssa “Redd” Carswell, Camilla Poindexter, Danni Victor, Jada Looney, Judi Jackson, Julie Ofcharsky, Natalie Nunn, Sarah Oliver and Rocky Santiago. You can watch Bad Girls Club online to check out all their shenanigans, which we can’t really do justice to, but here’s a brief rundown on the premiere … Camilla wants to change for the better. Julie reflects how she was known on her season as the villain, but this time hopes to make lifelong friends. Judi just wants to get her DRANK on. Sarah regrets instigating so many fights during her season, while Redd also admits she was a bully during her season in Chicago, which also starred Jada. The two see that the other is there. No fists flying yet. Baby steps. Although they admit there may be drama down the line if one of them starts something with the other, so who knows. Here’s hoping it does not come to that. Also, Redd tells the girls she is gay, but will only look and not touch. So there’s that. Danni hopes to be more mature this time around, and Natalie? Well, Natalie is being all nice. It’s weird, but she looks ready to turn over the newest of new leaves as everyone goes outside and toasts to growing together and working on themselves. Perhaps headed to the club on a party bus wasn’t the smartest way to kick off the season, but that’s where we are, and the positive mood starts to unravel. Judi loses RIGHT on cue. Drunk Judi spills her drink on Danni, and finds living Natalie to be causing a lot of anxiety, which of course leads her to drink, and then she has beef with Julie. Back at the house, Judi continues to drink more, and says that everyone there is fake. Later, Redd confronts Judi about her psychological problems. Danni tells Judi that she’s acting like a “psycho three year old” and that “you and me are never going to be cool again,” as she kicks her out of the room. Redemption? Anything can happen in the morning, she notes. Here’s hoping, because things did not start off on the best foot for her here on day one.

New Girl Season 4 Episode 4 Recap: We Are All Micro

Jess tried to prove a point to the guys on New Girl Season 4 Episode 4, which is a recipe for comedic gold nine times out of 10 with this FOX comedy. Her goal? To prove that women are, collectively, less shallow than men. Her proof? She will date a less-than-perfect guy and she will love it! The problem? Said guy has a “micro” penis and is a general d-bag! Watch New Girl Season 4 Episode 4 Online When New Girl Season 4 Episode 4 kicks off, Jess gets annoyed at the guys, who are having a graphic and hilarious conversation about boobs at the bar. Her claims that she is not as shallow as they are quickly laughed off, then forgotten about as Nick points out her wonky knee. That is not structurally sound. Fleeing her friends, Jess meets a hunk named Matt, who seems like he would be the perfect guy until he reveals his “Micro” penis. It’s REALLY small. The guys, and likely more than a few people who watch New Girl online , immediately research what that means, and the jokes follow in rapid succession. Jess agrees to buy Nick a porn site subscription if she will date Matt for more than a month, while Nick will donate $500 to charity if he loses their bet. Unfortunately for Jess, she finds that Matt is quite dumb and not her type at all, regardless of what is going on (or barely even visible) below the belt. Meanwhile, Coach and Schmidt can’t stop thinking about “Micro” manhood. What results is a Classic Cece and Winston Thing as the latter asks if they ever thought about modeling. Come to think of it, that is totally Schmidt’s dream. Winston and Cece help Coach take photos at the apartment and Cece mentions that her agent is only looking for one male model, triggering a competition. Jess tells Nick she wants out of the bet for non “Micro” reasons. Nick refuses to believe that she doesn’t actually like him, but even he can’t avoid it when he meets the guy and Matt takes the hint before long as well. After she comes clean about why it’s not working, Matt explains his douche personality is a direct result bullying he’s received because of … well, you know.  As Jess comes over later to apologize and make her profound point about how we all have “Micro” flaws, they are interrupted … by his girlfriend. The girlfriend leaves. Good riddance, Matt says. She’s a little fat. After Jess finally lays eyes on the “Micro” penis, she leaves for good, while Coach bows out of his battle with Schmidt, realizing his real insecurities. Cece and Winston somehow manage to get a billboard up featuring Schmidt in Koreatown, realizing the ruse will only crush him more if it’s ever revealed. Coach asks when Schmidt gets is cut. Wintson is not happy.

NCIS Season 12 Episode 3 Recap: And So It Goes…

It took only 12 seasons, but NCIS finally delved into Ducky’s past on NCIS Season 12 Episode 3 . On an hour titled “So It Goes,” viewers watched as a body was found in a car registered to Ducky’s old best friend. Fortunately, the victim did NOT end up being this former pal. But, with his friend missing, Ducky ventured back to England as the team attempted to figure what happened. Watch NCIS Season 12 Episode 3 Online This helped us get to know Ducky even better than before, as we flashback to a younger version of the character (played impressively by lookalike Adam Campbell) and learned that Ducky and this former friend, Angus, had a falling out over a girl. In present day, the victim turns out to be one of Angus’ employees, prompting the NCIS unit to wonder if he was bringing files to Ducky since the car’s navigation system had the Navy Yard programmed into it. The actual Case of the Week wasn’t all that fascinating (even if it did involve a prostitution ring), but the in-depth look at Ducky made this installment stand out from most others. Among ironic jokes and tidbits we discovered from his past: A woman Ducky secretly pined after gave him a bow tie, which he hated immediately. In the old days, he spoke about wanting to get into obstetrics because he’d “had it up to here with cadavers,” adding: “If I never see another dead body again it’ll be too soon.” HA! At one point, David McCallum’s character saved both his own life and that of his former love, Maggie, via the precise use of a scalpel, a gift he’d been given a long time ago by his close friend and romantic rival. It was a pleasure to see Ducky remaining smug and confident even with his life seemingly on the line. This is a man who has never lost an ounce of coolness. We ended things with possible hope for Ducky to strike up a relationship with Maggie. Not yet, of course. She did just lose her husband and everything. But who out there would not want to see her make her way to The United States so Ducky could have a shot? What did you think of this installment?
