Kristen Stewart Amused By ‘Snow White’ Co-Star Charlize Theron

‘I love the effect she has on people,’ KStew tells MTV News. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Charlize Theron in “Snow White and the Huntsman” Photo: Universal Despite their obvious differences both onscreen and off, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron have formed a bond during the filming of “Snow White and the Huntsman” and even more so during the current press tour in support of the film. When MTV News caught up with Stewart recently, we asked her to compare the familiar scenario of doing interviews with her longtime “Twilight” co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner versus her new castmate, the lovely Ms. Theron. “When Rob, Taylor and I do interviews together, they usually don’t actually ask us anything. We just get to hang out and people like to watch that,” Stewart said with a laugh. “It’s fine, because I like hanging out with those guys, but it is weird. With Charlize, it’s been great, because we’re so proud of the movie and we actually only worked together for three days, so we got to know each other probably more or at least on a certain level during press, and it’s been nice. It’s been fun.” Stewart said she especially admires Theron’s ability to light up a room with her energy and humor. “Some people intimidate you. Some people’s energy is so big you feel like you don’t fit in the room, but with her, I really appreciate how different we are. I love the effect she has on people,” Stewart said. “I find it hilarious. I love watching it happen. I do not have that. Maybe I have something else, but it’s definitely not as visceral. Also, she’s really hilarious,” she added, noting that the Oscar winner uses the more colorful swear words with particular aplomb. “[She] puts me to shame, to be honest,” Stewart said. Maria Menounos Eliminated From ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Despite Perfect Score

Remaining three celebrities — William Levy, Katherine Jenkins and Donald Driver — will continue competing for mirror ball trophy next week. By Kelley L. Carter Maria Menounos and Derek Hough on “Dancing With the Stars” Photo: ABC The truth is, anyone’s name could have been called to head home from ABC’s hit show “Dancing With the Stars” on Tuesday night and it would have been a shock. On Monday night, most of the contestants scored well with the judges. Although opera singer Katherine Jenkins has been a top performer on the show all season, she made a few missteps in one of her Monday night performances — and subsequently beat herself up about it. So folks may not have been too surprised to hear her name called as this week’s eliminated dancer. Instead, it was one of the night’s top scorers who got the boot. It ultimately came down to TV journalist Maria Menounos and her partner Derek Hough and NFL star Donald Driver and his partner Peta Murgatroyd. Menounos was the one to go, despite having a near-perfect score on Monday night. The judges salivated over the Argentine tango she performed as her first dance, rewarding her with perfect 10s all around. For her second performance, she took on the jive, and the judges actually named her the winner of the night — and possibly the competition itself. When her name was called Tuesday night, Menounos said, “I learned so many things — how strong I was, to persevere … I want to thank everyone here. I want to thank Derek and my family and everyone who voted for us.” Next week, the remaining three celebrities — Latin heartthrob William Levy and his partner Cheryl Burke, Driver and Murgatroyd, and Jenkins and Mark Ballas will compete for the mirror ball trophy.

Jennifer Lopez Hints She May Not Return To ‘American Idol’

‘I don’t know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things,’ Lopez says about her ‘Idol’ gig. By Gil Kaufman Jennifer Lopez Photo: MTV News Negotiating tactic or real threat? That’s what eagle-eyed “American Idol” fans were probably wondering on Tuesday after Jennifer Lopez hinted that she might not be back for a third season. Appearing with co-star Cameron Diaz on “Ellen,” to promote her upcoming movie, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” Lopez said she’s had a blast during two seasons on “Idol,” but her time may be up. “I really do enjoy it,” she said after telling DeGeneres she wasn’t sure what her future on “Idol” might be. “Now this is my second year — I don’t know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down, which was nice the first year with the babies being three, but now they’re getting more mobile, they’re about to go into school … So I just don’t know.” Lopez joined the show in 2010 for season 10 along with Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler and reportedly makes $12 million a season. And while that’s $2 million more than Christina Aguilera makes on “The Voice,” it is at least $3 million less than new “X Factor” judge Britney Spears will reportedly earn when she makes her debut in the fall. While appearing on “Access Hollywood” on Monday night, Lopez offered some advice to Spears and the other new “Factor” judge, Demi Lovato
. “I was like, ‘Live TV! Eek.’ It’s a big thing to take on, but I think they’re both more than capable to handle it,” Lopez said just hours after Spears and Lovato made it official. “Working with the singers and doing your thing and knowing what you’re talking about from experience, and they both have that,” she said of translating her music business expertise into judging advice. And, after a season in which some critics have said she and Tyler have been exceedingly easy on “Idol” contestants, Lopez also counseled that it’s perfectly okay to root for the good guy. “You don’t have to be tough,” she said. “There’s not one way to do that, reality TV, and those competition shows [are] about being yourself. It’s about being your best self, and I think that’s the most important thing.” Get your “Idol” fix on MTV News’ “American Idol” page , where you’ll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions. Lindsay Lohan Cast on Big Brother?!

Lindsay Lohan is used to avoiding crude shanks in big house … but can she handle being stabbed in the back in a different sense in the Big Brother house? Reports have surfaced saying the one-time actress is in negotiations to come aboard the reality show in a bid to relaunch her career after years of legal woes. It’d be a huge coup for the show, but is there any truth to said rumor? “Lindsay is not doing Big Brother,” her rep tells E! News , matter of factly. It’s unclear if Lindsay Lohan could have joined the show even if she wanted to, given her community service and psychotherapy requirements. If LiLo went into that house and survived all the way to the finale, it’d be like three months of isolation! We’d miss her so much … and yet not. “We hope that the courts will make a special allowance in this case. There aren’t any more controlled

TV Nudity Report: Courtney Ford on True Blood

After whetting its fans’ appetite for girlflesh with last week’s awesome nudity, True Blood was something of a snoozer this weekend, delivering a skingy (for them) funbag flash that only lasted for a couple of seconds. For what (t)it’s worth, the funbags in question belong to Courtney Ford , best known for her role as Christina Hill on Dexter. Courtney has just joined the show as highfalutin’ businesswoman Portia Bellefleur , and she flashed her headlights in a scene where vampire king Bill took the society gal out for a test drive. Have you driven a Ford lately? You will when you see more of Courtney Ford after the jump!

Wanna Party with Charlie Sheen?

Calling all Warlocks: we know when and where you can party with Charlie Sheen. Following his live show in NYC on April 8, the actor will host a shindig in Carlstadt, New Jersey, a town with a population of around 6,000 that typically employs three police officers per shift. But, as TMZ reports , the police department will be extra careful with the gathering at Dragonfly nightclub. At least 10 officers will be brought in to handle crowd and traffic control. Combing this news with the latest security fears from Denise Richards, at least Sheen’s antics are resulting in extra work around the country. Still, there has to be a safer, less insane way to create jobs, doesn’t there? Meanwhile, if you wish to see Sheen on TV and not in person, circle April 12 on your calendar. On that date, the star will play a role on Drew Carey’s Improv-A-Ganza . It airs on the Game Show Network and the appearance dates back to January, when Charlie joined the show’s cast on stage for a performance at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. In his sketch, Sheen separates the men from “the trolls”

Michael C. Hall’s Wife Jennifer Carpenter Files For Divorce

Julia Stiles denies causing ‘Dexter’ co-stars’ split. By Jocelyn Vena Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall Photo: Carlos Alvarez/ Getty Images After “Dexter” stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter announced their split earlier this week, Carpenter filed for divorce on Thursday. The actress cited irreconcilable differences in papers filed in Los Angeles, noting that the couple, who married on December 31, 2008, separated in August. The Associated Press reported that Carpenter is seeking spousal support from the SAG Award-nominated actor. The actors, who play brother and sister on the hit show, have no children. Publicists for Hall and the Showtime series had no comment about the divorce or how it would affect the show, which was just renewed for its sixth season. After rumors surfaced that Julia Stiles, who joined the show as Dexter’s serial killer girlfriend this past season, had been secretly dating Hall, the actress released a statement saying that she had nothing to do with the couple’s split. “I have absolutely nothing to do with the split between Michael and Jennifer. We are good friends and enjoyed working together,” Stiles told UsMagazine.com in a statement. “This is a personal matter between them, and we should respect their privacy. Although I too prefer to keep my private life private, I felt compelled to dispel the rumors I was somehow the cause for this matter.” The news comes in a week filled with celebrity splits. On Monday, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens broke up and just a day later Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds announced they were separating after two years of marriage.

Will Lauren Conrad Make A Final ‘Hills’ Cameo? The Stars Weigh In

‘It would be nice to have her come back,’ Audrina Patridge says of a possible LC reunion. By Jocelyn Vena Lauren Conrad Photo: Jordan Strauss/ Getty Images The drama on the final season of “The Hills” is sure to be juicy, but it would be an extra-special treat for fans if original star Lauren Conrad stopped by one last time . While there are no confirmed plans for LC to hang with her crew again on the show, her pals admit that they’d be down with having her make one final appearance. “I feel like when Lauren was on, she was like the very good one who was always telling everyone what they did wrong or what they should have did, so with her coming back, it’ll be like our older sister coming back and giving us advice,” Audrina Patridge told MTV News. “It would be fun. It would be nice to have her come back.” Patridge said “there’s been talk of that,” but, obviously, nothing is final. “I am not sure if she is actually coming back to the show, but it would be nice towards the end,” she said. “The last episode, she comes back, and we all kind of rekindle and, you know, spend our last moment together before it’s all over.” Kristin Cavallari joined the show in season five, just as her frienemy LC was leaving, but she’d totally be down to share the screen with Conrad. “I think it would be amazing if she came back. I think it would be great, but there’s nothing set in stone,” she said. “I think that’s how we should end it: have Lauren and I in a scene together. That’s how we should end it. That would be amazing.” Would you like to see LC come back? Tell us in the comments! “The Hills: Final Season” airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT every Tuesday followed by “The City” at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
