David Eason is a monster. You know it, we know it, everybody knows it. But somehow Jenelle Evans has managed to get around that fact for a good few years now. She ignores the massive red flags, she's called 911 to report his physical abuse before changing her story. It's sad. But something seems to have happened recently, because it sounds like she may finally be gearing up to cut this loser loose. How exciting, right?! 1. The Beginning Jenelle and David have been together for over three years now, and honestly, the whole entire thing has been a nightmare. 2. Gross Back in those early days, we knew that David had a criminal record like most of the other men she’s been with, and that he had two children, one being a toddler who had a restraining order against him. That said a lot about him, and it still does. 3. So Many Red Flags As time went on, we learned that he was very controlling. At one point, Barbara Evans said that he was the worst boyfriend Jenelle’s ever had, and while lots of people didn’t believe her then, it’s pretty obvious now. 4. Yikes David has always tried to cut Jenelle off from the other people in her life. We saw him tell her on Teen Mom 2 that he’d deal with Nathan and her own mother when it came to pick ups and drop offs for Kaiser and Jace, which was pretty bizarre, to say the least. 5. Poor Kaiser And speaking of Kaiser, we’ve seen David be cruel to him several times on the show, and Nathan and his family believe that he’s abusive to him. 6. Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans is constantly making headlines for stressful situations related to her children, and this one is no exception. Already the mother of two little boys and currently pregnant with a little girl, the Carolina Hurrican is constantly in and out of courtrooms. To wit, she’s currently battling Nathan Griffith for custody over her younger son, Kaiser, following a recent string of alarming allegations. Wild allegations between Jenelle and Nathan, who were once engaged, have been traded, and heated, since their split last summer. Shortly after they split, Griffith returned to the resident they shared with his new girlfriend; Evans was arrested for assaulting Jessica Henry . Jenelle was accused of throwing a glass at Nathan’s significant other, although eventually, Evans was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing. While things have improved since (the bar was set very low), there’s still an enormous amount of tension between Kaiser’s parents. Jenelle, who is expecting a girl with David Eason, has been sharing pregnancy news but is typically keeping a relatively low profile. Sure, she deals with allegations of taking her son out in a hurricane or letting him play near a bonfire, but by her standards? Uneventful. Griffith, on the other hand, reacted to her pregnancy with indignation and seems to delight in every chance he gets to diss her since. While she hasn’t stooped to that level, she has expressed concerns about Kaiser’s safety with his own father, and is headed to court. The above tweet speaks volumes about the situation. Right now, things are tense between them, and Evans is not hiding that fact, though she’s also refrained from mentioning Nathan by name. She hasn’t called him out or made any public allegations about what he is or is not doing, but is letting her actions speak for themselves. Rather, she says she wants to keep Kaiser safe and she is willing to do whatever it takes for that to happen, even if she gets flak for it. So what’s going on with Nathan, exactly? Back when the couple first called off their engagement, they reached a deal in which Jenelle was given primary physical custody of their son. Now she’s seeking sole custody. According to court documents, Jenelle claims Nathan told her that his “mental health is not stable and that he is unable to care for” Kai. She also alleges that “he has plans to move out of the country in the near future” and is dealing with “multiple pending criminal charges.” What’s more, Jenelle was informed, reports indicate, that Nathan has “a substance abuse issue and is unable to care for the minor child.” Griffith “does not have a suitable and healthy home environment” and moreover, “does not regularly exercise his visitation with the minor child.” View Slideshow: Jenelle Evans & Nathan Griffith: A TMI, Sometimes Rocky Romance This is all just borderline tragic. At a time when Jenelle is 33 weeks pregnant and preparing to welcome her third child into the world, nothing about her situation is stable. Yes, she’s in a committed relationship with David Eason and we can hope, against all hope, that this continues on a positive trajectory. Earlier this week, we reported that Jenelle Evans was visited by Child Protective Services , a bombshell that surprised exactly no one. Baby daddy Nathan Griffith called the agency to report that Jenelle had taken their son, Kaiser, out of the country without consent. It turned out that Nathan was way off base, albeit justified in his initial concern over his only child with the Teen Mom 2 cast member. Kaiser was actually fine, and staying with a friend of Jenelle’s while she and new boyfriend David Eason were on vacation in St. Thomas. Still, it was pretty irresponsible of the Carolina Hurricane to leave the country without telling Nathan where his kid would be staying. That may be why, according to insiders quoted by Radar Online, Jenelle was visited by CPS again just a few days ago. “CPS went by and met Jenelle and her boyfriend David after they got back from vacation,” says one source. “It happened on Tuesday.” “They saw Kaiser. The CPS lady told Jenelle and David that she thinks everything is okay and that Kaiser is perfectly fine.” The insider says Griffith was never really concerned for his son’s safety, but only filed his complaint to make life difficult for Jenelle. “Nathan really bothers Jenelle,” the source claims. “He tried to ruin her trip, but it didn’t work!” Sounds like the already-contentious custody battle between Griffith and Evans is only gonna get uglier from here!

During a panel discussion about “liberating the black female body” at the New School in New York City this week, famous literary scholar bell hooks (real name: Gloria Jean Watkins) made her feelings about Beyonce very clear. In response to a fellow panelist saying Beyonce served as an inspiration due to “owning her body and claiming that space,” hooks offered up a contrasting viewpoint. “I see a part of Beyonce that is, in fact, anti-feminist – that is a terrorist, especially in terms of the impact on young girls,” the Ain’t I a Woman? author said. “I actually feel like the major assault on feminism in our society has come from visual media and from television and videos.” Bill O’Reilly used different language recently, but made similar points regarding Beyonce. The Fox News host believes Beyonce is part of the teenage pregnancy problem and that she’s a terrible role model for young women due to her lewd music videos and racy song lyrics. Jenelle Evans has upped the selfie ante again with photo of her son, Kaiser Griffith, from his most recent 4D sonogram. That’s right, a selfie before he’s even born. You can clearly see little Kaiser’s face. How cute … right?
