Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty Nicki Minaj Sues For $40,000 Unpaid Bill A stylist named Cristina Acevedo is suing Nicki Minaj for $43,200 in unpaid fees. Acevedo says instead of Nicki responding to her invoice with a deposit, she responded with “girl, goodbye!” In lawsuit documents obtained by The Blast , the stylist was allegedly hired for Minaj in 2017 at the rate of $1,500 per day. Nicki allegedly hired the stylist to outfit her for nearly a month while she toured across the country. Acevedo claimed she tirelessly worked over 10 hours per day for the rapper over the course of 24 days while traveling around the United States. This isn’t your get rich quick scheme.” Minaj allegedly added a “girl, goodbye” at the end. Yikes! Acevedo claims she’s now owed $43,200. Acevedo included Minaj and her companies in the lawsuit, including Pink Friday Productions and Pink Personality, Inc. So far Nicki has NOT responded.

Menace To Society? Feds Want Clermont Twin Jailed To Protect Public, Say She Stole $22K From Dead Man To Stunt On Social Media (Exclusive)

Source: Prince Williams / Getty “Bad Girl’s Club” Star Shannade Clermont Facing Sentencing For Assuming Identity Of Dead Man From “Prostitution Date” The federal government said reality and social media star Shannade Clermont deserves up to 18 months in the fed after her greed prompted her to steal from a dead man in a quest for Insta-fame. In a letter to the judge, Assistant U.S. Attorney Sagar Ravi pushed for the Yeezy model to serve 12 to 18 months behind bars because of the seriousness of her fraud and identity theft, noting that the prison term will send a message to others not to do the same thing. Ravi also said the public needs to be protected from her. “Plain and simple, this was a crime of opportunity – a crime the defendant committed out of greed to maintain the image she sought to portray on social media,” Ravi’s letter to the judge – which was obtained by BOSSIP – states. Yesterday, we revealed that Clermont’s lawyer had begged the judge for mercy for his client, claiming that she stole only because of extreme financial hardship and even started a foundation to help people struggling with mental illness. Source: Candids By K / Courtesy But Ravi called BS on Clermont’s assertions, saying that her purchases like $427 Valentino shoes, a $310 Phillip Plein jacket, $230 Beats headphones and $250 at a beauty salon don’t exactly scream poverty. The federal attorney also pointed out that Clermont started the foundation only after she pled guilty and was facing sentencing. Last November, Clermont pled guilty to one count of wire fraud, admitting she’d stolen the debit card information of a man was paid to spend time with who later died, racking up more than $22,000 in fraudulent charges. She also admitted that she later stole her victim’s identity in order to try to wire $1,000 to herself. Ravi also revealed details of the night of what he called her “prostitution date” with the unnamed victim. Using the name “Audrey,” Ravi said Clermont spent three hours with the man, who was found dead the next morning alongside a broken used condom, baggies of coke and a fentanyl pill. Clermont has maintained that her victim just passed out on the bed and she stole his card details and left. Clermont is scheduled to be sentenced next week in Manhattan Federal Court.

Landlord Says “Love & Hip Hop’s” Masika Skipped Out On $15K Rent (Exclusive)

Source: Jesse Grant / Getty “Love & Hip Hop” Star Embroiled In Dispute Over Back Rent An L.A. area landlord has accused reality star Masika Kalysha of being a rent dodger. That’s according to a new lawsuit from Emerson Vierra Reis, who is suing the “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star for skipping out on four month’s worth of rent payments on a three bedroom, two bath house in Woodland Hills, CA. According to the suit, Instagram star Masika – who shares a two-year-old with rapper Fetty Wap – signed a lease to rent the place back in December 2017. But last September, she stopped paying the rent entirely and eventually moved out after Christmas without settling the rent debt, the suit, which was obtained by BOSSIP, said. In total, Reis said Masika’s back rent topped out at $14,740. Source: Paul Archuleta / Getty Reis withheld Masika’s $4,750 security deposit but is suing for the balance, $9,999. Reis said Masika also allegedly trashed the place, and he said he had to spend an additional $3,285 to fix the damages, according to court papers. The landlord said he tried to reason with Masika before filing the suit, but she still refused to pay up. The property in question is nearly 2,000 square feet and boasts marble countertops, stainless steel appliances and his and hers sinks. Masika moved out after Christmas and the home later sold for almost $800,000, according to public records. Masika has posted glamorous pictures of herself on social media in the home. Masika never responded to the suit, and the case is scheduled to go to trial next week. We reached out to both Masika and the landlord for comment.

Juelz Santana’s Condo Back In Foreclosure (Exclusive)

Source: VH1 / VH1/YouTube Rapper Turned Felon Back In Legal Hot Water With Foreclosure Case He turned himself in late last month to begin his sentence for bringing a gun to the airport. But despite being behind bars, Juelz Santana is still facing legal trouble. The Dip Set rapper is in danger of losing his luxury condo to foreclosure – again – after not paying the mortgage in more than six months, BOSSIP has learned. Wells Fargo Bank sued Juelz last month, alleging that the rapper hadn’t made payments on his mortgage since July 2018 and it wants him out ASAP. Juelz bought the 2,300 square foot condo in 2005 for $540,000 and financed it in part with a $486,000 mortgage with 8.5 percent interest rate, his mortgage states. He agreed to make monthly payments of $3,754 for 30 years to pay for the home. The property is now valued at $391,000, according to Zillow, and is located in a tony Northern New Jersey housing development that was once home to the Notorious BIG. Wells Fargo’s suit marks the third time in two years that Juelz has battled foreclosure proceedings, according to court papers. The bank wants either the money owed on the mortgage or the home sold in order to recover its costs. It also wants Juelz banned from having any stake in the condo’s equity. We exclusively revealed that Juelz has battled to keep his home off the foreclosure rolls for years. But with him now behind bars until at least 2020, it may be harder than ever to come up with the money to get out of the debt. While he was out on bail in his federal gun case, Juelz did not live at the condo, but in the next county over with his now wife, Kimbella , and their two children. On top of the foreclosure suit, Juelz’s homeowner’s association also sued him last month for stopping payment on his condo’s common charges, according to court papers obtained by BOSSIP. The Courts of Glenpointe Condominium Association alleged Santana owed more than $7,000 in maintenance and late fees and hasn’t paid the house bills since Dec. 2018. The association wants the charged paid in full, along with attorney fees, according to the complaint. Juelz’s lawyer hadn’t responded to either lawsuit as of Monday.

Back The Truck Up: Colin Kaepernick And Eric Reid Settle Collusion Lawsuit Against NFL, Financial Details Not Disclosed

Source: Tom Szczerbowski / Getty Colin Kaepernick And Eric Reid Settle In NFL Collusion Lawsuit The beep you’re hearing is the Brinks truck filled with cash that is backing into Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid ‘s driveways. Source: Michael Zagaris / Getty According to USAToday , the ousted NFL quarterback and the religiously “randomly” drug tested strong safety have reached a settlement in their joint collusion lawsuit against the NFL. The details of the settlement were kept confidential, but you can only imagine the number that the league had to come up with to satisfy both men. They know good-and-damn-well that team owners were almost assuredly banding together to keep Kaep from getting a job. Attorney Mark Geragos broke the news on Twitter this afternoon. “For the past several months, counsel for Mr. Kaepernick and Mr. Reid have engaged in an ongoing dialogue with representatives of the NFL,” Geragos and the NFL said in the statement. “As a result of those discussions, the parties have decided to resolve the pending grievances. The resolution of this matter is subject to a confidentiality agreement so there will be no further comment by any party.” pic.twitter.com/5sdcGSuwvW — Mark Geragos (@markgeragos) February 15, 2019 The NFL Players Association has long been in support of Kaep and Reid but were not made aware of the details in the settlement either. “We continuously supported Colin and Eric from the start of their protests, participated with their lawyers throughout their legal proceedings and were prepared to participate in the upcoming trial in pursuit of both truth and justice for what believe the NFL and its clubs did to them,” the union said in the statement. “We are glad that Eric has earned a job and a new contract and we continue to hope that Colin gets his opportunity as well.” How the people who swore Colin Kaepernick wasn’t in the NFL because of talent reacted when they saw the league settled Kaepernick’s collusion case pic.twitter.com/HcPxav536L — Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) February 15, 2019 That part. Cops Kill People: Stephon Clark’s Family Files A Wrongful Death Suit Against Sacramento Officers

Source: Sacramento Bee / Getty Stephon Clark’s Family Files Federal Lawsuit Stephon Clark was gunned down in his grandmother’s backyard by two Sacramento police officers who failed to identify themselves and failed to seek medical attention for him according to a new federal lawsuit filed by Stephon’s family. According to CNN , the Clarks, like so many Black families across America, are looking for some level of accountability from police officers who wanton kill, dare we say murder, unarmed Black people. The lawsuit not only alleges that the unidentified officers used excessive force when they fired 20 shots without a single warning, but also that Stephon was racially profiled. Of the twenty shots fired, seven of them hit Stephon, three of those in his back according to the Clark family’s forensic pathologist. “When the facts are fully disclosed, we are confident that a jury will deliver justice that reflects how grossly the police land city officials failed Stephon, his family and the people of Sacramento,” Brian Panish an attorney for Clark’s children said in a statement. What does the city have to say about this? “Out of deference to the judicial process and because this is a matter of active litigation, we must respectfully decline to comment,” City Attorney Susana Alcala Wood said in a statement. Of course. SMH. We hope the Clark family can get some form of justice out of this murderous abuse of power.

SMH: Teairra Mari Loses Once Again In Her Revenge Porn Lawsuit

Source: Nicholas Hunt / Getty Teairra Mari Loses Lawsuit Against Ex-Boyfriend Teairra Mari has officially lost in her revenge porn lawsuit….again. The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star first went up against 50 Cent, and now, she’s lost again after a judge dismissed her entire case and threw out all of the claims against her ex-boyfriend. According to court documents obtained by The Blast , a Los Angeles judge ordered that because Mari failed to appear for a scheduled hearing in the case earlier this month, that the court determined she has ultimately “failed to prosecute her case.” The judge also noted that 50 Cent was already dismissed, but now Mari’s ex-boyfriend is too. Akbar Abdul-Ahad, who Teairra claimed conspired with the rapper to leak a sexually graphic video of her, is now completely free from the battle and the case has been closed. As was first reported,  Teairra Mari sued 50 Cent and her ex-boyfriend accusing them of engaging in a plan to sexually objectify, threaten, intimidate, humiliate, and degrade her.  She also claimed that Abdul-Ahad logged into her Instagram account and posted a sexually graphic video of her without her permission.  Mari said that her ex-boyfriend was upset because he was allegedly trying to develop a polyamorous relationship, along with a reality show highlighting that lifestyle–but she wanted no parts. Teairra went on to say that after she removed the video and photo that Abdul-Ahad had posted, 50 Cent went on to post the same material on his own page. He captioned the photo “get the strap,” which the reality star claims was a possible reference that encouraged his fans to harm her. 50 Cent denied all the allegations and said by the time he reposted the image, it was already all over the internet in other places. He demanded her lawsuit be thrown out of court, arguing that the photo didn’t even show any genitals or a sexual acts. The rapper was recently dismissed from the case completely and the judge awarded him attorney fees in the amount of $30,618. Though there’s no word on payment toward her ex, Mari’s entire case has now been closed.

Pon Di Bible: Rihanna’s Possibly Shady Patriarch Responds To Her Lawsuit, Claims Imma Do Nuh Such Ting

Source: Gregg DeGuire/WireImage/Caroline McCredie/Getty Images for Fenty Beaut / Getty Rihanna’s Father Responds To News That She Is Suing Him Yesterday we reported that Rihanna is suing her father Ronald Fenty for exploiting the Fenty name to promote his businesses. Today, the folks at OK! spoke to Ronald and he has responded to the news that his daughter wants ALL the litigious smoke. “She is? Suing me? Why would she sue me? It’s my name!” he exclaimed. “She’s never going to sue me — I’ll have to fight it!” It is reported that Ronald and a partner have been using the name to act on Robyn’s behalf without every having permission to do so. “Thing is she doesn’t have the time to deal with all this stuff herself, so it is someone else that will be doing it,” he continued. ”She’s working hard on her album at the moment. I don’t think she’d sue me.” He goes on to say: “This is all news to me. They sent something to Fenty Entertainment, it was a letter from Roc Nation I think, but my lawyer said it was OK. They said they preferred me not to use the name, but they didn’t say I couldn’t.” Sounds like those lawyers were trying to use gentle language with Ronald as a warning out of respect for his role as Rihanna’s father, but, uh…Roc nation ain’t going for anything that will tarnish Rih’s shine. Including daddy dearest.
