Bossip had a Todd Bridges sighting at Tuesday night’s premiere of “Madison County” in LA: One of horror’s most highly-anticipated films, Madison County made its world premiere as a marquee presentation during ScreamFest 2011. Madison County is a horror film about a group of college kids that travel to a remote, mountain town called Madison County, to interview the author of a tell-all book on the accounts of the grisly murders that happened in the town over two decades before. Upon their arrival, the author is nowhere to be found and the townspeople state that they haven’t seen him in years. They also deny that Damien Ewell, the notorious murderer, ever existed and that the murders ever happened. Bridges revealed to Bossip.com exclusively that he is busy writing a follow-up to his explosive best-selling book, “Killing Willis” for a target release date in early June 2012 when he returns to the big screen in Adam Sandler’s “I Hate You, Dad.” We’re proud to see Todd doing so well now that he’s off that stuff. Teen Mom star Amber Portwood appeared at child protective custody hearing this week and admitted she’s been an “unfit mom” to daughter Leah. Portwood appeared before a judge at Madison County (Ind.) Court for a case update after Leah was temporarily placed in dad Gary Shirley’s care. Originally, Portwood had denied striking Gary in front of their baby, but said her home was not fit for Leah to live in, because it had no furniture. This week, though, she “withdrew her previous denials.” EMBATTLED AMBER : Portwood is fighting hard to get it together . Portwood is currently out on bail after being arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from a broadcast of Teen Mom in September of last year. Not only did she smack around Gary, but Leah supposedly watched. She was caught on camera slapping Gary Shirley , who was also at the hearing this week. Portwood is under strict supervision by Child Protective Services. If they find that her living situation is unsuitable or that Leah is in any danger, she will be returned to her father. Possibly on a permanent basis this time. While Gary has expressed a desire to have the restraining order against Amber lifted, Leah has been spending time with Gary’s new girlfriend of late. Autumn Jones has been quietly dating Gary for nearly a month and not only is she playing second mother to Leah, she has one-year-old daughter too. Gary and Amber have been communicating with each other despite the No Contact Order that prohibits them from doing so – and that they want lifted . As of now, it remains in effect. The judge ordered both parties to appear before him once again at a later date for a custody update. Stay tuned.

The happy couple met during the production of Black Swan , for which Nat earned nominations for a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award. Benjamin Millepied served as choreographer for Black Swan , but a few months into filming, he found himself on the other side of the camera as well. When recently asked if she and Justin Bieber were a romantic item, Selena Gomez quickly dismissed that rumor . But when MTV brought up this same topic with Justin a couple days ago, he didn’t confirm a relationship between he and Selena. But he didn’t exactly shoot down the idea, either. “She’s really cool,” Bieber told the network . “She’s an amazing person.” Does he mind that so many are so curious about his love life? Said Bieber: “I think that people are always gonna be interested in my personal life… but I gotta keep some things to myself. I’m just having fun being a teenager.” As he should. But as long as he and Gomez spend time alone together, as they did in Miami last week (pictured), such (adorable!) talk will continue to persist.

After the Jersey Shore cast fist-pumped its way to #4 , we present one of our most polarizing figures at #3 … Miley Cyrus! Perhaps more than any celebrity we cover, 2010 was a year of ups and downs for Miley, lows and highs ( literally! ). It began with the official announcement that Cyrus would be saying farewell to the role of Hannah Montana, and it ended with a bong-smoking controversy that epitomized the lengths this star had gone to over the past 12 months to prove she was transforming into an adult artist. In between, Miley… … dated Liam Hemsworth multiple times. … sang a duet with Bret Michaels. … hosted the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards. … got slammed by critics for her portrayal in The Last Song. … made out with a female dancer to prove her maturity. … feuded with Perez Hilton over that blogger being an idiot . … rarely wore pants. … suffered through her parents’ divorce. … turned 18. As you can tell, it was a year of starring roles and scandalous actions for Miley Cyrus. Ardent supporters stuck by her side, arguing that she was simply growing up as a person and a celebrity. Critics, meanwhile, crushed the star for her misguided decisions, coming down on her for abandoning a young fan base and trying too hard to prove she was evolving. Where do you stand? It’s a question we’ve asked often and will likely continue to do so. This divisiveness is a significant reasons why Miley had such an impact on pop culture in 2010.

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has officially been charged for hitting and shoving her former fiance Gary Shirley on an episode of the MTV reality show. Portwood was charged by the Madison County (Ind.) prosecutor’s office with two counts of domestic battery and one count of neglect of a dependent. Those are all felonies, in part because their two-year-old daughter Leah was there for it. A misdemeanor charge of domestic battery was also filed. THAT HURTS! Amber is feeling the pain of felony charges . Portwood faces up to three years in jail and fines of up to $10,000 for each of the counts, which also led to her temporarily losing custody of Leah. Privately, the reality of facing criminal charges has brought Amber to the edge as she is facing the sobering truth about her future slipping away.
