Most women of a certain age have a period. It's totally normal and natural , nothing to be ashamed of. But still, even though it's just a regular old bodily function, some shame persists. To combat that monthly stigma, a yoga instructor named Steph Gongora has shared a video of herself in which she's wearing white pants and doing a routine on her period — but without wearing anything to stop the bleeding. “I am a woman, therefore, I bleed,” she explains in the caption of the video. “It's messy, it's painful, it's terrible, & it's beautiful.” She writes that while it's normal , it's still something that women try to hide. But unfortunately, many women don't have the privilege to hide it as well as others. “Over 100 million young women around the globe miss school or work for lack of adequate menstrual supplies, & fear of what might hapen if the world witnesses A NATURAL BODILY FUNCTION,” she says. She urged women to “stop pretending,” to stop using cutesy names for a period “because you're too afraid to say 'I'm bleeding' or 'vagina.'” “Educate your daughters,” she goes on. “Make them understand that it can be both an inconvenience and a gift, but NEVER something to be ashamed about.” “Educate your sons so they don't recoil from the word tampon. It’s Fashion Week in New York, which means industry bigwigs and all kinds of celebrities have descended on Manhattan for a first glimpse at the hottest looks of spring 2017. Oh, and Tiffany Trump is there, too. As we reported yesterday, Tiffany and her boyfriend, Ross Mechanic – who we’re assuming is a relatable cyborg created in the same blue collar ‘bot factory that gave us Joe the Plumber – have been on hand for several fashion week events. And from the sound of it, they were greeted about as warmly as Jared Kushner at one of the meetings Steve Bannon holds in his basement. The 23-year-old recent college grad and her presumably rugged, callous-handed man were granted front row seats for the Philipp Plein show at the New York Public Library last night. But according to numerous witnesses, awkwardness ensued, as the glitteratti scrambled to avoid being spotted sitting next to the youngest daughter of Herr Weasel Wig. “Seating sh-tshow at Philipp Plein because no editors want to sit near Tiffany Trump. SHOCKER,” wrote Alyssa Vingan Klein, the editor-and-chief of Fashionista.com. “Phillip Plein at 10PM: 1 hour late start, editors fleeing just so they don’t have to sit behind Tiffany Trump,” tweeted Nikki Ogunnaike, senior fashion editor at Elle. Wall Street Journal fashion columnist Christina Brinkley tweeted a photo of an empty front row seat (an extreme rarity at NYFW), along with a caption reading: “Nobody wants to sit next to Tiffany Trump at Philipp Plein, so they moved and the seats by her are empty.” Remarkably, the president has yet to tweet about the alleged mean-girling of his least-favorite daughter. We’re sure he’s conflicted, as his first instinct was probably to order a drone strike on Manhattan, but his wife, kid, and tower still live there. Tarek El Moussa was recently spotted out in public with estranged wife Christina El Moussa for the first time since he filed for divorce. The hosts of Flip or Flop on HGTV were reunited on Friday at the 2017 Investor Summit in Las Vegas, standing on stage and posing with smiles plastered across their faces. All seemed calm between the former couple, who separated last May, yet who remain both the parents of two small kids and the co-leads on a hit cable show. But don’t let Tarek’s happy mug or his Instagram caption fool you. “Me and #christina on the #big #stage having #fun and teaching folks how to #flip #houses!!” Tarek wrote along with the photo below of the pair on stage. Ignoring El Moussa’s untamed, ridiculous use of hashtags in that caption, we’re here to focus on the dark past that hangs over this once-happy couple. Tarek and Christina split last spring after an explosive fight. It remains unclear just what led to the harsh words that were exchanged, but Tarek stormed out of his house afterward with a gun in hand, headed for the woods. After Christina called the cops, Tarek explained that he simply feared for his safety among the animals outside. The stars quietly went their separate ways at the time, but word of what happened leaked online a few months later, prompting the home renovation experts to publicly acknowledge their separation. Fair enough. No big deal. Plenty of marriages fall apart. But new reports have shined a damaging light on Tarek, with one tabloid actually claiming he used to threaten to rape Christina . Like, a lot. “He actually joked about raping Christina on more than one occasion,” a source told Life & Style last month of how Tarek would act on set. “Tarek thinks it’s funny,” this witness claimed. Now, In Touch Weekly is adding fuel to this scandalous fire by detailing another controversial action Tarek supposedly took against Christina. “When he and Christina were on the rocks, he confessed to the production crew that he suspected she was dating someone, so he hired a private investigator to follow her,” says a source, adding: “He wanted to know where she was going and what she was doing.” The magazine writes that Tarek feared Christina was dating Gary Anderson , the family contractor who Tarek knew pretty well. And she actually is dating Gary Anderson, but has been pretty out in the open about it and we haven’t heard much chatter about Christina actually cheating on Tarek with this guy. Remember: the El Moussas separated many months ago and Tarek has since admitted to dating other women after the split. “It’s hard for Tarek to see Christina dating, but it’s even worse that Gary is the guy she’s with,” In Touch adds. “It stings, and Christina knows it. Tarek is incredibly jealous and filled with rage.” Yikes. That sounds like a dangerous recipe. Thus far, neither Tarek nor Christina has made any disparaging remarks about the other in public. They are parents to a six-year old girl named Taylor and a 17-month old son named Brayden and do seem committed to raising the kids in a friendly environment. Moreover, they need to keep filming new Flip or Flop episodes together, as their contract requires Tarek and Christina to finish out the current season. A new report indicates that Flip or Flop star Christina El Moussa’s new boyfriend, Gary Anderson , is no stranger to bitter splits himself. Twice over. The contractor met Christina three years ago, and most recently worked with her and husband Tarek on a backyard renovation project. He was a witness to Tarek and Christina’s police incident in May, which TMZ reported earlier this month and which led to their separation. It’s not clear when the El Moussas started seeing other people , or what the infamous fight was about; Tarek and Christina aren’t spilling. Rather, they’ve put out a statement and social media updates that paint the picture of separated, but amicable and supportive co-parents. Gary’s role in the HGTV couple’s breakup may be nothing at all … but he surely played a role in a 1999 split from his first wife, Jo Ann. Their divorce was followed by nearly a decade of nasty court battles, where the couple fought over money and custody of their daughters. According to court documents, Gary was accused of understating his income to lower spousal and child support payments to his ex-wife. We’re talking understating it by a lot. Court papers suggest that Gary claimed to have earned $128,000 over the course of a year, although his actual income “was $1,044,512.” $128,000 … give or take $916,512? Anderson was ordered to pay ex Jo Ann $4,000 per month in spousal support until 2003, along with $7,082 per month in child support. Moreover, he was required to pay $100,000 in back child support and agreed to put an additional $50,000 in an account for his daughters. Meanwhile, Gary’s second wife, Denise, filed for divorce in 2005 after just four years. But once again, the contractor didn’t get off easy: He was forced to give her $2,000 a month spousal support for two years, and $330,000 from their joint bank account. That’s a lot, right? Yes, but it’s not even close to all of it. Gary gave her a brand-new BMW, their $700,000 California home and an equalization payment of $405,000 in the process of divorcing. Wow. News of Gary’s two costly divorce settlements come shortly after Christina revealed she fully intends to move on from her split with Tarek. At least he seems to have strong earning potential; Anderson must not have a hard time getting home renovation work, are we right? Gary is the one who told police he saw Tarek bolt from the house and onto a hiking trail, prompting the Christina El Moussa 911 call. He said that Christina, who was shaking and crying, told him Tarek had a gun (Tarek later said this was just for protection from wildlife). Anderson was actually at their neighbor’s house when Tarek bolted, according to police, not working for the El Moussas at that moment. The Orange County Sheriff’s Department went to the couple’s home, police sources say, and “made contact with a witness, Gary Anderson.” The contractor “relayed that he was working next door when we saw Tarek El Moussa run out of his back door.” This was May 23. Then, he saw the HGTV personality “jump over his back fence and walk northbound into the hiking trails of the Chino Hills State Park.” Tarek told police, after they located him, that he never intended to hurt Christina or himself, and just did this to “blow off some steam.” Nevertheless, he turned over his guns (all legal). The couple’s statement this month chalked all of this up to a huge misunderstanding and denied there was ever a threat of any violence. The cameras may not be rolling on Teen Mom OG… … but that doesn’t mean that two of the show’s stars are done making headlines. Earlier this week, Amber Portwood stunned the reality show community when she announced she was quitting Teen Mom OG , citing the unfair way she’s been portrayed as the basis for her departure. “I’ll be leaving #teenmomog sadly,” Amber captioned a cast photo that depicted her alongside with Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham and Catelynn Lowell. Seems pretty straightforward, doesn’t it? Added Portwood, in an attempt to make her position clear: “The way I have been portrayed and treated is unfair. @MTV sending all my love… “If I was treated fairly it wouldn’t be an issue but it’s been nothing but disrespect since the reunion show. Which keeps continuing today… Nothing has been dealt with or has made me feel any safer to even move on with people who have continuously hidden things from the network…. “The day I’m shown some respect by the people I’ve worked with for 8 years is the day I’ll be back. I’ve sacrificed a lot for this show.” MTV has not commented on Amber’s series of Tweets, but it does appear as if she’s keeping the door for a return open. And Abraham, for one, thinks this is all a bunch of BS. She thinks Amber wants to walk right through that door. “None of the girls will quit – they like the attention, need the money and their boyfriends need the money too much to quit,” Farrah told E! News on Friday. The controversial Teen Mom cast member added: “I get that Amber is embarrassed of her actions but she flip-flops all the time. She will be right back to filming. This is so dramatic. “She could quit and not make it public if she was truly done.” Abraham and Portwood got into it recently at the Teen Mom OG reunion special. And we mean… THEY GOT INTO IT . During the show, Abraham implied that Portwood’s fiancé, Matt Baier, looked like a pedophile. This set Portwood off. Big time, especially because Abraham’s boyfriend, Simon, had called Baier a pedophile back in October. The peeved Teen Mom stormed the stage and attacked Abraham, causing Abraham’s father, Michael, to also rush the stage, in defense of his child. At this point in time, you’re surely familiar with the tragic tale of Kanye West and the mental breakdown he had just before Thanksgiving. And if somehow you managed to miss it … well, hope that rock you’re living under is treating you well. It was on Monday, November 21st, that Kanye had a bit of an episode while working with his personal trainer. His doctors called 911, told dispatchers that he would possibly become violent when confronted by police, and then was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he spent just over a week under a psychiatric evaluation. Another issue that necessitated Kanye’s hospitalization was that he reportedly began messing with the dosage of the psychiatric meds he’d already been prescribed. After Kanye left the hospital (and during, and before he went, and probably for the rest of all time), rumors upon rumors upon rumors began to swirl. We heard that Kanye’s actual problem was a drug addiction , that his marriage with Kim Kardashian is all but over, that he’s living separately from Kim and their children. And now we’ve got one more report to add on the pile — and this one is particularly upsetting. According to a source who spoke with People, Kanye is still a long way from being on the other side of his breakdown. “He’s recovering, but not recovered,” the insider reveals. “He’s sick and every day he gets better.” Another source claims that Kanye’s behavior was worrisome as far back as Halloween, explaining that “He wasn’t making a lot of sense when he talked, and he was texting a lot of strange stuff to people.” But apparently, Kanye was struggling even earlier than that, and when Kim was robbed at gunpoint in early October, that was “what set off” his downward spiral. “He was teetering on the edge,” the source says, and when Kim was robbed, he just “broke down.” It’s all coming together, right? It fits in with something that we’ve heard before, that Kim was always the strong, solid one in the relationship. She’d always been ready and willing to give Kanye support whenever he needed it, but when Kim went through her traumatic experience and desperately needed his support, he simply didn’t have enough to give. It’s pretty sad when you think about it, isn’t it? And it gets even sadder, because that insider closes things up by claiming that the issues Kanye is facing are issues that he’ll have indefinitely. “This is something he will deal with for life, but he can conquer it,” the source states. According to a new report, Tarek El Moussa has something in common with Ben Affleck. No, the Flip or Fop co-host has not been selected to portray Batman; nor is he good friends with Matt Damon. But Tarek has been accused of sleeping with the nanny of his children, an allegation that has surfaced just days after we learned Tarek is now separated from wife Christina. The HGTV stars confirmed their split last week after a scary incident between the couple in May finally went public. Following an argument with Christina, Tarek grabbed a gun and stormed off into the woods near his Orange Country home, prompting a 911 call from a frantic Christina, who feared Tarek was suicidal. Authorities arrived on the scene and confiscated a number of weapons inside the couple’s residence, with Tarek assuring everyone that he simply needed to blow off some steam. But the viral nature of this story forced Christina and Tarek to admit that they’ve been separated for several months. Via statement, the Flip or Floppers said: Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage. We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed. During the [separation] process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be. Since this admission, it has also come out that the stars have been dating other people. And not just random people, either. Christina is allegedly getting it on with Gary Anderson , the family contractor who actually witnessed Tarek’s aforementioned breakdown. Moreover, TMZ now claims that Tarek had a romance with 23-year-old Alyssa Logan, the nanny who was taking care of Tarek and Christina’s two kids, while also performing assistant chores for the family. HOWEVER, unlike Affleck, Jude Law or Gavin Rossdale – all stars who have reportedly screwed their nannies – Tarek is not accused of cheating on Christina with Logan. The relationship apparently started after he and Christina broke up. Tarek even let Logan go as a nanny once he started to develop feelings for her, making their dalliance a tad less shady. Still, though, that has to be sort of weird for everyone involved, right? According to TMZ, Tarek and Alyssa dated for about a month in October and that was it. “We have both dated other people following the separation, but neither of us is ready to announce anything in terms of another relationship,” the couple said in another joint statement after news of their separation made headlines. The Flip or Flop couple’s breakup was revealed earlier this week following a surprising report about a police incident dating back to May. Tarek and Christina separated after an argument in which he stormed out of the house with a gun to “blow off steam” and she called 911. Details of the 911 call El Moussa placed after this have been revealed – and confirmed by the couple, though they say it was a misunderstanding. In any case, they haven’t begun divorce proceedings yet, and want to continue working together – both as parents and on their HGTV hit. “We plan to continue working together in front of the camera,” they said. “We have been working towards this for the past five years.” “As you can imagine, fame is a mixed bag. We decided to separate while we reevaluated the next steps in our married life.” “We believed this was in the best interests of the children and the best way to determine a path forward,” the couple adds. As for whether they will get back together someday? Don’t bet on it, based on this candid assessment: “We have both dated other people following the separation, but neither of us is ready to announce anything in terms of another relationship.” The HGTV tandem also explained that Christina’s 911 call about Tarek’s alleged suicide attempt was not as bad as it sounds, saying: “His intentions were misread. In any case, the couple tried working out their issues through therapy and counseling, but was unsuccessful, and they ended up separating. El Moussa family insiders revealed that while this may surprise fans, “in a lot of ways they just seemed wildly incompatible” in general. “She has champagne tastes; he’s a beer-from-a-can kind of guy,” one source said, which worked fine when they could only afford the latter. Working together to get by in a tough real estate market and to do the best with what they had, they were on the same page for awhile. Then they started to make it big, and bigger still. Tarek and Christina El Moussa have flamed out in frightening fashion. As previously reported, the Flip or Flop co-hosts separated in May amidst an incident that involved multiple guns and an alleged suicide attempt. According to TMZ insiders, a 911 call was placed after Tarek fled his residence while armed, prompting Christina to fear that her husband was going to kill himself. Authorities responded en masse to the incident, with 11 deputies and a helicopter being dispatched to the couple’s Orange County home. Multiple onlookers say that Tarek was spotted (with a gun), fleeing down a hiking trail. He was quickly followed by a sobbing Christina, who was visibly shaken up. After Tarek was ordered to relinquish his weapon, he told law enforcement officials on the scene that he simply wanted to “blow off some steam.” El Moussa grabbed the weapon to fend off any animals he may have encountered, he said, and was not in that bad of a mindset. He said he has no intention of hurting himself or anyone else. Deputies searched the couple’s home and seized five guns, including an AR-15. But all were lawfully registered. Parents to a six-year old and a one-year old, Tarek and Christina have confirmed their separation, saying via statement: “[We] will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.” And that latter part is true, TMZ confirms. Meanwhile: Season 7 of Flip or Flop is currently airing on HGTV. Producers tell the above-mentioned celebrity gossip site that they “will continue production as scheduled” for Season 8 of the reality series. As for what led to this stunning split? A source tells People Magazine that tension has been building ever since the couple’s program struck it big. Tarek isn’t a big fan of the spotlight, while Christina can’t get enough of the fame and/or fortune. “In a lot of ways they just seemed wildly incompatible,” the source says of Tarek and Christina . “She has champagne tastes, and he’s a beer-from-a-can kind of guy.” The insider went on to say this was “okay for a while when all they could afford was canned beer.” The couple was on the “same page” while building their series. HOWEVER… “The stardom from the show, and the money from the show, meant that she started to feel like she could finally have some of the finer things in life…” “He just couldn’t or didn’t want to keep up.” Anyone who regularly watched Flip or Flop can’t be all that stunned by this report. This is the second HGTV scandal of the past couple weeks. While Chip and Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper are VERY happy in their marriage, the stars have been in the news of late due to the anti-homosexual views of their church’s pastor .
