Jana Duggar Gets Slammed by Fans: Your Brother Hates Women!

The Duggar family apparently feels like Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal has blown over, folks, because Jed Duggar is running for office . Despite that being a deeply controversial move, his big sister Jana gave him a shout-out and a glowing endorsement. Now, fans are upset with Jana for endorsing someone with upsetting, oppressive platforms like Jed’s. “It was an honor to go to the Arkansas State Capitol today,” Jana’s Instagram post begins. She got “to watch my brother @jed_duggar file as a candidate for House District 89.” “I’m so proud of the man he is,” she gushes. “And,” Jana concludes, “the heart he has for serving the community of Springdale!” “I hope he doesn’t forget that humans, especially women, have rights,” one commenter begins. The comment continues: “Women have the right to many things and he better not take any of it away from them.” “Don’t punch your religious values on people,” the comment concludes. “We don’t want it.” “No offense he’s not going to win,” another follower cautions. “Janna has a better shot at winning than this guy.” “Oh yeah, because he totally understands separation of church and state,” another commenter derides. The follower observes; “He’s been raised to believe nobody other than Christian men have rights.” “And he has no life experience,” that same commenter concludes. Clearly, Jed’s run for office is a disappointment to many fans, and they don’t love Jana endorsing his move. “I’m a Conservative. Pro-Life. Pro Second Amendment. Pro Religious Liberty,” Jed announced alongside his candidacy. The chilling litany of his agenda was enough to alarm plenty of people, even though it is no surprise. He also wrote that he plans to “Combat the Opioid Crisis. Lower Taxes. More Jobs & Growth. Strong Economy.” Jed being 20 years old and lacking any life experience or opinions of his own could really hamper him in any political race. “I’m Jed Duggar. I have grown up in the Springdale area all my life,” he wrote on Instagram. Jed continued: “And as a local small-business owner, I understand the important issues facing the residents and businesses of District 89.” Yes, we’re sure that Jed can relate to all of the other small business owners whose daddies gave them businesses instead of a college education. Clearly, he is hoping that others will overlook his lack of qualifications or experience and simply side with his abhorrent views on human rights. “Northwest Arkansas is the economic engine of our state,” Jed continued. He wrote: our local jobs and state economy depend on elected officials that take a common-sense, business approach to legislative reforms.” “I will fight for sound fiscal policies and tax relief for all Arkansans,” he pledged. It sounds like Jim Bob is angling for a tax break for himself and his fellow millionaires. “I will unequivocally advocate for conservative values,” Jed warned. “I am a Christian and I will stand up for religious liberty,” he emphasized. Religious liberty is a favored euphemism meaning special rights for conservative Christians. At times, laws passed on these grounds directly oppose the rights and beliefs of religious minorities. “:I am pro-life and I will be an advocate for the unborn,” Jed’s grim announcement continued. He continued: “And I will always defend our Second Amendment.” In other words, he’s happy to see people forced to give birth, but once they’re born, it’s basically fine if they die in a hail of bullets. “With your support,” Jed tells his followers. “I will be a strong, conservative voice in Little Rock for District 89.” Some Duggar fans have noted that Jed’s campaign seems to link his address to an apartment. It wouldn’t normally be shocking for a 20-year-old to live on his own, but most 20-year-olds aren’t members of repressive cults. Jim Bob lets his children move out of the house only when married. This seems like a curious exception. Fans believe that Jim Bob wants to make Jed look independent. Who’s going to vote for a man who’s forbidden from having an orgasm? Of course Jana endorsed Jed. Not only did she likely have no choice in the matter, but he’s her brother! The reason that fans were upset is that Jed’s platform just … sucks. The other reason is that Jana endorsing him conflicts with the image of Jana that fans have constructed in their minds. If Jana is really a rebel against the horrible beliefs of her family, she’s really good at hiding it. Amy Roloff Just Bought a New House, You Guys!

Mark off another major milestone for Amy Roloff. The Little People, Big World star has been undergoing one giant change after another over the past several weeks, from the sublime (an engagement!) to the tragic (the death of her mother). So…  what now? Roloff has purchased a new home. Those who have been following the reality star’s life over the past year or so must be familiar with how she sold a parcel of her land on her family’s farm to her ex-husband, Matt. Ever since, Amy has been searching for a house away from the farm in which to settle down. She’s been keeping social media followers well apprised of this journey, admitting that she was a bit nervous because she hasn’t lived on a different piece of property in decades. But now Radar Online can confirm that Roloff has bought a residence in Hillsboro, Oregon; she closed the deal on September 27 and she paid $588,500 for the home. It’s located 15 minutes away from the farm, an insider confirms, and sits on .16 acres. According to Zillow, meanwhile, the average home price in this town is $379,200, meaning Amy likely purchased herself a pretty nice place. Also of note? Fiance Chris Marek helped Amy throughout the process, which does make a lot of sense, consdering he makes a living in the real estate industry. What else do we know about the home, courtesy of this Radar report? It boasts five bedrooms — very important when kids and grandkids, we’re sure, will often be invited over to stay — and four bathrooms and it takes up an area of 3,767 square feet. In September, Amy and Marek announced they had gotten engaged after three years of dating. Just a short while later, sadly, Amy’s mother died at the age of 86 after a lengthy battle with an illness related to a bone infection. Roloff has been paying her tribute on Instagram in the weeks since, most recently writing of her beloved late parent: Went to my Mon’s gravesite today. To feel her presence, talk w/ her, pray and be thankful for what her life gave to me. Can hardly believe that it’s been one month since my Mom’s passing and one week since her memorial. Still feels like just yesterday. Sometimes you just don’t feel or want to move on but you must. On top of all this personal news, Amy is set to welcome TWO new grandchildren in the very near future. Daughter-in-law Tori is due with a son any week now, while daughter-in-law Audrey is due in early January. Between these births AND a wedding to plan AND a move to make, we just hope Amy finds the time to count her blessings and to realize her amazing good fortune. We have no doubt that she will. Meghan King Edmonds Goes on Attack in First-Divorce Interview

Meghan King Edmonds is fighting back. The former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member, who left the franchise in 2017, has sat down for her very first interview since her husband filed for divorce late last month. Jim Edmonds didn’t merely file for divorce, either. He did so after he and his wife got into a vicious argument over rumors that he had been sleeping with the family nanny. This rumor followed a scandal-plagued summer in which both Jim and Meghan responded to the former having had an explicit relationship with another woman . Jim has claimed this relationship never went beyond inappropriate text messages, but still: Damage had been done to the relationship long before the divorce filing and nanny chatter. With the whole Internet buzzing over his alleged new affair (again, with THe NANNY!), Jim has spoken out on numerous occasions; first trashing Meghan for spreading such a lie and then calming down and saying some kind things about her . To kick off her chat with Us Weekly, Meghan referenced this change of tone from her estranged huband. “I have to say that when he gave the ‘nice’ interview a few days ago, he was completely speaking for me. At that time I had not exchanged one text message with him and I have still not spoken to him on the phone,” Meghan explained to Us , adding that since the split, she has kept things “calm, consistent, routine-based and light” at her home. “I have endured prolific controlling by Jim and it isn’t slowing down. “Even when I make an unassuming post on Instagram, he hurls insults at me for a battery of made-up indiscretions. “I’m sick of the abuse and I won’t engage anymore — and I don’t have to.” It’s been a confusing whirlwind for the ex-couple. In a lengthy blog entry written on October 29, Meghan detailed how she felt Jim had gotten far too close to Carly Wilson, the 22-year old nanny at the center of this scandal. But she came right out and admitted the two probably did not sleep together. Does this means she forgives Jim and all is now good between them? No. Far from it. “I believe the facade he presented is false and manipulative to the public while using and taking advantage of me,” she now tells Us Weekly. In the former Major League Baseball player’s most recent message, he said that he was “hoping for some peace, normalcy, and the ability to move forward in a healthy, happy direction for every single person involved,” noting that he loves his family “and will make it right again.” But this won’t be easy, considering Meghan was blindsided by the divorce filing and had to find out about it online. She’s been through far too much with Jim and various situations with other women to simply move on from it; not now. Maybe not ever. “Divorce had been discussed as something that could be possible but I truly thought he could change and work through his demons,” she says here, continuing: “Divorce never really crossed my mind. I had to find a divorce lawyer in a matter of hours. “He filed so quickly that it seems to me (and others) it had been ready to go and he just was waiting for an event to happen so he could pull the trigger.” The couple got married in 2014. They share 2-year-old daughter Aspen and 16-month-old twins Hayes and Hart, the latter of whom has tragically been diagnosed with brain damage. Here’s a quick rundown of what else Meghan said in this extensive Q&A: Does she have money problems? “It saddens me that the father of my children would so hostilely and haughtily say I should be worried about money, even during a time of anger. I don’t see that as putting our children first which has and always will be my first priority.” Did they sign a prenuptial agreement? “I did sign a prenup but it doesn’t pertain to child support or custody.” How did this whole affair rumor blow up? “I only ever privately alleged that Carly and my husband had an inappropriate relationship. “It was Carly, Jim, and Jim’s daughter Hayley who repeated references such ‘allegations’ in the media and blew up this story. This is the very first time I have spoken to the media in the wake of this devastating scandal. “Also, is it kind to secretly hang out with your boss’ husband at a bar until 1:30 a.m. and then delete all texts between the two of you? Well, we knew the day would come when the next generation of Duggars would follow Jim Bob's lead and run for public office. We just didn't think the first one to throw his hat in the ring would be only a few months out of his teens. For a long time, it looked as though Josh Duggar would enter the political arena, but a handful of sex scandals derailed his career while he was still in the lobbyist stage. And so, Josh is in exile (read: selling used cars in rural Arkansas), and it's his brother Jedidiah who's taken up the mantel of public service. This week, 20-year-old Jed announced that he's running for a seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives. The election is still a year away, but thanks to Jed's status as a member of reality TV's most controversial family, his campaign is already gaining a lot of attention. Take a look: 1. Jed! Jed announced this week that he’s running for a seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives. If he’s smart, he’ll learn from the mistakes of that OTHER Jed from a famous family and avoid exclamation marks on his campaign signs. 2. Jedsite Jed’s official campaign site launched this week, and you probably won’t be surprised to learn the scion of Jim Bob leans HARD to the right in his policy positions. 3. Facing the Issues You want issues? Jed’s got ’em! His site lays out his stance on seven hot-button topics, and you better believe Jed’s got strong opinions about God and guns. 4. The Resume School? Who’s got time for it? Jed may have not have spent much (or any) time in a classroom … or the military … or even in a full-time job (no, being the nominal head of one of your dad’s car lots doesn’t count) — but he worked on a state senator’s campaign for a couple months last year! 5. Life? Jed’s In Favor of It To the surprise of absolutely no one, Jed is vehemently pro-life. Roger Mathews Claps Back at JWoww: I Hate You Too, Bish!

Throughout Jersey Shore ‘s original run, Jenni Farley did her best to steer clear of the drama. Sure, she might step in and casually cold-cock someone when the situation calls for it, but for the most part, JWoww preferred to quietly collect her MTV checks and leave the overwrought displays of emotion to her co-stars. But as we all know, sometimes drama finds you, and Jenni’s life has been loaded with conflict in recent months. The latest dust-up involves Farley’s boyfriend, Zach Carpinello, and his decision to grope Angelina Pivarnick , while a drunken Jenni slept mere inches away. Farley dumped Carpinello when she first saw the footage (captured by Jersey Shore cameras), but now they’re back together, and it’s a whole mess. But before that debacle, Jenni was dealing with even more intense drama as a result of her divorce from Roger Mathews . What initially appeared to be an amicable split has devolved into a nightmare of a protracted divorce, complete with revelations that Roger was abusive to Jenni during the final months of their marriage. Unable to keep the drama off camera any longer, Jenni opened up about these struggles during a recent episode of Shore . “We were talking about regrets earlier, and I’ve been thinking about the biggest one,” she said to Snooki, who promptyl blurted out, “Roger. He’s the f–king worst. But you always knew it wasn’t right.” “Yup,” JWoww replied. Jenni put a positive spin on the situation, noting that if it weren’t for her time with Roger, she wouldn’t have her two kids. “They’re my bliss,” she said, “as I’m suffering.” “I’m going through it with the divorce,” she later added in a later confessional segment. “It’s been like almost a year since I filed. When you get a divorce, you’re supposed to be celebrating and like start a new chapter, but it’s really heartbreaking,” Jenni said. “And it’s stressful, the up-and-down battle of figuring out custody issues. I just don’t know when it gets better. It’s more than exhausting; it can like mentally break someone. I just want peace.” Understandably upset at being called “the worst” on national TV, Roger responded in a statement issued to Us Weekly : “You don’t spend almost a decade of your life with only one person then just never care about them again,” he said. “You can act like you do but you’re probably lying,” Mathews added. “Hatred spawns from love.” To be fair, Jenni never actually said that she hated Roger, but it’s not hard to see how he might have surmised such animosity on the basis of her comments. But while we can see why Roger might be offended, he really doesn’t have any right to be. The best thing he could do at this point is take a tip from old-school JWoww and just take a seat on the sidelines while the drama unfolds. Jeremy Roloff Undergoes Surgery, Vows to Live Healthier Lifestyle

Jeremy Roloff has shared some surprising news with fans. And also some concerning news. The former Little People, Big World star took to Instagram late this week and informed followers of the following piece of information: He very recently underwent surgery. On Saturday, the 29-year old explained what happened, why it happened — and how he’s making changes to ensure it never happens again. “Yesterday I had my first surgery. Inguinal hernia surgery. “I’ve had a hernia for the past few years, but thought I could live with it in order to avoid surgery, so I ignored it.” Yiikes, huh? We don’t recall Jeremy having ever touched on such an issue before. He continued with his update by providing a lot more information. To wit: “Over the last several months I’ve been having some increasing health concerns, specifically severe lower back pain and chronic shoulder pain.  “I’ve come to realize that I’ve been subconsciously protecting my hernia with poor posture and lack of core strength.” The host of a podcast and the author of a memoir, Jeremy went on to say that he isn’t in peak physical condition. This has a lot to do with how he’s been feeling, too. “I’ve pretty much eliminated all physical exercise too which has increased the problem because of muscle loss which has me walking weird as well,” he wrote online, adding: I’ve been ignoring my health and it all came to a head when just a few days ago I threw out my back after sneezing. Embarrassing, right? Roloff is expecting his second child with wife Audrey in January. So it’s imperative that he gets back on his feet in order to help with his growing family, especially once the newborn arrives. “All said, I’m considering this a turn in my health journey,” Roloff concluded. “I have a goal to be in the best shape of my life by 32. Health is something that needs continual attention or else it unnoticeably fades – like most things in life. Time to put some attention back on personal health!” For those interested, a hernia occurs when an organ pushes through an opening in the muscle or tissue that holds it in place, per the Cleveland Clinic. For men, the inguinal canal is a passageway for the spermatic cord and blood vessels leading to the testicles. The injury can be very painful if left untreated, as Jeremy just found out. We’re glad he’ll soon be back on his feet, though, and ready to help with precious baby number-two. Jeremy and Audrey announced that they are expanding their family in July … and revealed it would be a baby boy in August. ”We’re so excited!” Roloff wrote on Instagram for the gender reveal, which featured footage of the former reality stars finding out it was a boy via blue-colored smoke. “We are surprised and can’t wait to be a family of four,” Audrey captioned her own video. Ashley Martson FEUDS With Loren Brovarnick Over Pregancy News! WTF?

In late October, we reported that Loren and Alexei Brovarnik are pregnant with their first child . This is wonderful news, and it couldn't happen to a more beloved couple. Look at any 90 Day Fiance poll on favorite couples, and their names will rise to the top very quickly. One name from teh franchise who is more polarizing among fans is Ashley Martson. Believe it or not, Ashley and Loren got into a heated feud online … over Loren's baby announcement . The weird part is that fans may be shocked by which one's the bad guy. 1. Let’s start with the good news As we previously reported, Loren and Alexei are expecting their first child! 2. Hooray!! As n added bonus, Loren revealed that her first trimester was a relatively easy one. 3. They gushed over each other Loren has praised how Alexei has been an “amazing support system” for her during this pregnancy. 4. The baby is due this spring! And the pair hinted that their baby may have been conceived in Israel, which is of course where they met while Loren was on her Birthright trip. 5. Nice! These two are amazing and HUGE fan-favorites, so it’s so wonderful to see them celebrating such happy news. 6. Ashley Martson and Jay Smith: It’s Over! Again!

Ashley Martson and Jay Smith are no longer dating. In and of itself, this is not a shocking statement. The 90 Day Fiance stars are nearly as unstable as fellow reality TV personalities Jen Harley  and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. But the circumstances behind their latest split may come as a shock to even those who have followed the couple very closely over the past several months. How so? Scroll down for all the sordid details… 1. What’s the Deal with These Two? Martson and Smith met on a 90 Day Fiance, with the latter hailing from Jamaica and needing to marry a U.S. citizen in order to live here permanently. They wed in 2018, as seen on 90 Day Fiance Season 6. 2. What Went Wrong After That? Uhhh… everything? For starters, Smith was caught using a dating app days after their wedding. He was chatting with other women on Tinder. 3. Was It Over After That? Not exactly. The stars broke up and then reconciled and then Ashley filed for divorce in January 2019 and then took it back and then filed a second time in April 2019. 4. For What Reason? Because Smith was caught with a woman in a barbershop bathroom. This was merely the latest example of him cheating on his wife. Jay was then taken into ICE custody after he violated a protective order Martson had against him. 5. So It Was Definitely Over Then, Right? It sure sounded that way. “Honestly, I don’t really care if he’s deported,” Ashley told In Touch Weekly just this past August. 6. What the Heck Happened from There? It’s sort of unclear — but there were concerns in September that they got back together again after the two attended the same event in Pennsylvania. One of the cool things about being on Teen Mom is that you make a lot of money. Like, a lot . The moms and the original dads make hundreds of thousands of dollars per season, if you can even believe it, and they also get to travel for free if MTV is filming, which is pretty neat since we've been seeing a lot more vacations on the show recently. But besides the show itself, cast members are pulling in crazy amounts of cash from all kinds of wild and crazy places. “Like where?” you may be wondering. Well, wonder no further … 1. Dang As we’ve said, the original cast members — the moms and the dads of their first children — all make the same amount, which is somewhere in the neighborhood of $350,000 to $400,000 a season. But what else does everyone do? 2. Amber Portwood Let’s start with reviewing Amber’s side hustles — this will be the easiest to do, because she really doesn’t have any. 3. Not Much She shares articles on her Instagram page, which brings in some money, and she did appear on that one season of Marriage Boot Camp a couple of years ago, so that’s something. 4. A Quick Hobby For a little while there, she got into flipping houses with Matt Baier, but she hasn’t done that since he’s been gone. 5. Meghan Markle Gets Emotional: No One Ever Asks How I’m Doing!

Many of us grew up on fairy tales that conclude with the commoner heroine marrying her prince and living happily ever after. Perhaps the story ends there because no one wants to see the princess spend the rest of her life in a fishbowl, forced to endure a constant barrage of lies and speculation, all the while prohibited from fighting back by the strictures of royal decorum.   Of course, anyone who’s curious about the pains and frustrations of such an existence need only look at the life of Meghan Markle. When she first married Prince Harry , Meghan seemed to have it all. Sadly, in the year that followed, she experienced firsthand just how much vitriol the sight of a mixed-race royal brings out in many Britons — some of whom, shockingly, are members of the press. Obviously, Meghan has been black her whole life, and she dealt with racism in its many vile forms before she became a royal. But could anything have prepared her for hit pieces about how she ruined Harry’s life by marrying him and giving him a child? Is there any way she could have braced herself for the pearl-clutching that would ensue when some stodgy traditionalist declared that she failed to curtsy properly? The other royals may have done their best to caution Meg about the hard times ahead, but as they’ve never experienced such abuse themselves, they were ill-equipped to do so. For the most part, Meghan has endured this abuse with admirable restraint. But as much as the Windsors might stress the importance of a stiff-upper-lip, Meghan is only human, and she became noticeably emotional during a recent interview for an upcoming documentary about her travels in Africa: “Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging. And then when you have a newborn, you know,” she says gesturing to her interviewer. “And especially as a woman, it’s a lot… So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed,” the Duchess of Sussex continues. “It’s um…yeah. I guess, also thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.” Asked if she’s “not really okay” and whether she’s struggled in recent months, Meghan says, “Yes.” It’s uncommon for any public figure to speak so candidly about the pressures of motherhood and life in the public. For someone as visible as Meghan to do it is incredibly courageous. Hopefully, the British tabloid press will keep this in mind next time they decide to dogpile her for repeating an outfit.
