#BlackLivesMatter: Early Autopsy Shows St. Louis Teen Killed By Cops Was Shot In The Back

Preliminary Autopsy Shows That St. Louis Teen Died After Police Shot Him In The Back *sigh* Via NYDailyNews Mansur Ball-Bey, the St. Louis teen whose death at the hands of police ignited protests, died from a single bullet to the back, according to a preliminary autopsy that raised suspicions about what happened. The 18-year-old black teen was killed Wednesday after police say he ran through the back door where cops were executing a search warrant and pointed a gun at officers. A search yielded stolen guns and crack cocaine, and a teen with Ball-Bey escaped, they said. Police Chief Sam Dotson told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the location of the gunshot wound does not prove or disprove the officers’ narrative. “Just because he was shot in the back doesn’t mean he was running away,” Dotson said. “It could be, and I’m not saying that it doesn’t mean that. I just don’t know yet.” “What I do know is that two officers were involved and fired shots, but I don’t know exactly where they were standing yet and I won’t know until I get their statements.” Here we go again… But Ball-Bey’s cousin told the Daily News the autopsy confirms the family’s suspicions about the police account of the last acts of Ball-Bey, who went by Man Man. “It’s the gut feeling we’ve had all along,” DeAndre Cody said. “We knew Man Man was smarter than that. He just wouldn’t pull a gun on the police.” “Now the findings come out that he was shot in the back. And the story has changed from ‘pointed a gun’ at officers to ‘flourished’ a gun. We want answers.” So do we! R.I.P. Mansur Ball-Bey Images via Twitter

Good Riddance: Cop Who Killed Unarmed Christian Taylor Fired From Arlington Police Department

Officer Brad Miller Fired For Christian Taylor Murder The officer who fatally shot unarmed Texas teen Christian Taylor has officially been fired. Arlington police chief Will Johnson told reporters today that rookie cop Brad Miller was off the job for killing Taylor when “no physical contact between them” was made. The New York Times reports: A rookie police officer who shot and killed a Texas college football player inside a car dealership in suburban Dallas was fired on Tuesday, the police said. Chief Will Johnson of the Arlington police said that the officer, Brad Miller, 49, had been fired for the “inappropriate judgment” in the fatal shooting of Christian Taylor, 19. Chief Johnson said Officer Miller had entered the building without his partner, leading to an “an environment of cascading consequences.” Police had said that Mr. Taylor was shot on Friday as he tried to flee from officers who had been dispatched to the Arlington dealership after reports of a suspected burglary. The Tarrant County medical examiner found that Mr. Taylor had gunshot wounds to his neck, chest and abdomen. At a news conference, Chief Johnson said Tuesday that Mr. Miller made bad decisions in communicating with other officers and initially approaching Mr. Taylor on his own without a plan for arrest. There were other officers on scene, the chief told reporters, including Mr. Miller’s training officer, who tried to use a Taser to subdue the suspect. “Based on a preponderance of evidence available to me and facts revealed by the investigative team, I have decided to terminate Officer Miller’s employment with the Arlington Police Department for exercising poor judgment,” Chief Johnson told a news conference. SMH…even Miller’s fellow officer thought it was best to JUST fire his taser. Why did he use deadly force?!?!

Florida Man Chews Off Fingertips to Avoid Being ID’d

As a Florida man suspected of stealing a Mercedes Benz was about to be questioned, but he opted out of biting his tongue. Instead, he bit off the tips of his fingers to avoid being fingerprinted!! Kenzo Roberts was arrested Thursday when Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies happened upon a 2015 Mercedes that had been reported stolen. Investigators discovered that 20-year-old Roberts was using a fake ID and carrying a concealed firearm. He also had three fraudulent credit cards in his possession. But the most alarming part of the arrest was when Roberts began chewing off his fingerprints so he couldn't be fingerprinted. The disturbing act was caught on a surveillance camera as he chewed off his fingertips and swallowed the flesh.  He also rubbed his hands against a cage in the back. Roberts' attempt to fool the officers was unsuccessful. Officers were able to fingerprint him anyway.  And his prints revealed that he had two felony warrants that were linked to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. The Orlando Sentinel reported that he was arrested on three counts of possession of a counterfeit credit card; grand theft auto; possession of a concealed firearm; possession of similitude of a driver’s license; driving with a suspended license; and giving false identification to law enforcement. According to officers, Roberts is illegally residing in the US, and Border Patrol has been contacted.

Police Ain’t Isht: Florida Cops Caught On Tape Brutally Beating Unarmed Man [Video]

SMH… here we go again … Noel Carter Beating A Florida man is making national headlines after he was seen on camera being brutally kicked and tasered by police while he was unarmed and sitting on a curb. The Orlando Sentinel reports: An Orlando police officer kicked an unarmed man at least six times while the suspect sat on a downtown curb, according to video shot by an onlooker, and as he did, another officer shocked the man with a Taser. The Police Department on Monday released the video-recording, which shows Officers David Cruz and Charles Mays arresting Noel Carter, a 30-year-old Hollywood, Florida, man in downtown Orlando Thursday about 10 p.m. The video of Thursday’s arrest was made by a woman who lives across Orange Avenue from the spot of the arrest and appears to show Carter complying with the officers when Cruz, standing to the man’s right, begins delivering kick after kick to his right arm. According to police, that was only part of what happened. The officers were off-duty, working security at Venue 578, a nightclub at the corner of Orange Avenue and Concord Street, when they saw Carter “using physical force” against a woman, the officers wrote in an incident report. Carter was drunk, his girlfriend had just broken up with him, but he was grabbing at her and attempting to keep her from walking away, Cruz wrote. The officers tried to arrest him, according to the report, but he refused to cooperate and tried to run away. The video first appeared Friday, broadcast by WESH-Channel 2. It does not show Carter fighting or resisting arrest. However, on Monday the department produced new supplemental reports. In them, the officers wrote that they argued and struggled with Carter over a distance of 75 to 100 yards. SMH….why’d they have to kick that man while he was just sitting there????

What Beef? Young Thug And The Game Call A Truce

Young Thug And The Game Squash Their Beef The Game and Young Thug’s Wayne-centric hip-hop beef seems to be over before it truly got started. After the two traded insults and indirect threats via social media yesterday, a mutual friend of the two was able to settle their rising tempers before things got out of hand. Via TMZ : The Game and Young Thug put an end to their beef before anyone got shot … and the truce was put together by a mutual friend … with some major street cred. Rapper JoJo Capone tells TMZ he brokered peace between Game and Thug late Wednesday … after they’d traded some serious threats. Capone tells TMZ … Game reached out to him after seeing a photo online of Capone and Thug together. He says Game didn’t realize Capone was down with Thug … and that opened the door to a summit. Capone says he got Game and Thug on the phone and explained … they both needed to get back to making music, and not threats. Capone says he told them they needed to look at the big picture and call off the dogs before someone got hurt. They got the message. Shortly after the call, Game confirmed the war is over. Funny — a guy named Capone is suddenly worthy of a peace prize. So JoJo Capone calls and no one wants to shoot up the nail shop anymore? That’s interesting. Too bad he didn’t have any wise words to simmer down The Game’s hatred for 40 Glocc while he was at it… Instagram

Charges Against Officers Accused Of Killing Freddie Gray May Get Dropped Due To “Insufficient Evidence”

Charges Against Baltimore Police Who Killed Freddie Gray Could Be Dropped Marilyn Mosby’s announcement that the six police officers responsible for Freddie Gray’s death would be brought up on homicide charges for their actions was a relief to many. But unsurprisingly, the Baltimore Police’s own investigation into the death of Freddie Gray doesn’t support the homicide charges brought forth by the state attorney — giving their attorneys grounds to move for dismissal. Via CNN : The Baltimore police investigation into the death of Freddie Gray doesn’t support some of the charges, including the most serious, filed by the Baltimore City State’s Attorney, potentially allowing lawyers representing the police officers the opportunity to undercut the prosecution, according to officials briefed on the separate probes conducted by the State’s Attorney and police. Already, defense attorneys are filing motions seeking to exploit differences between the separate state attorney and police investigations. Lawyers for two officers have challenged a key finding of State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby’s case: that a knife found on Freddie Gray was legal in Maryland and therefore the officers didn’t have a right to arrest Gray. The police investigation found that the knife is illegal under Baltimore city code. Officials familiar with the probes also say the homicide investigation run by police investigators at most contemplated a manslaughter charge, not second degree murder as Mosby charged one of the officers, Caesar Goodson. To win conviction for murder, prosecutors must prove intent to kill. Manslaughter relates to unintentional killings. SMH! We knew it was only a matter of time before the police department tried to find a way to wiggle out of these charges…

Still Talkin’ Isht: Mama Joyce Still Doesn’t Think Todd Is A Good Match For Kandi

Mama Joyce Speaks On Kandi’s Relationship With Todd Tucker Here she goes again… Via RadarOnline : Todd Tucker’s mother-in-law has been screaming from the mountain top about how disappointed she was with Kandi’s choice in men, and even though they’re tied the knot she is not any happier now. “I didn’t take from Kandi, I didn’t use her ever,” Mama Joyce told Radar. “Kandi respects me and Kandi knows I raised her by myself and I sacrificed for her and I never spent her money. I was the one that helped her accumulate what she has.” “I want my child to be happy and I didn’t want her to be taken advantage of. I wanted Kandi to marry somebody that had as much as she did.” “I made up my mind that if that’s who she chose then I am happy for her. I am not going to stress about it and I’m just going to accept it.” Mama Joyce conceded that Kandi’s husband has been working hard lately, telling Radar: “Todd is doing well now. He has a show and I hope they stay together and be happy. I have accepted that they are together and she loves him.” Noting that she has been called “terrifying” by critics, Mama Joyce defended her harsh words, saying: “I think I am just straight up. People that know me love me to death. But I’m real. I say what other people are thinking because I don’t think there is anything to hide.” “I guess I don’t care. Who’s gonna check me boo?” Well after watching the show, we guess we all know who is definitely NOT going to check her — KANDI.

Ismaaiyl Brinsley: Brooklyn Cop Killer Identified

The man who allegedly killed two NYPD officers in Brooklyn this afternoon has been identified. Witnesses say Ismaaiyl Brinsley, 28, approached the officers’ patrol car and shot each man several times. Reportedly, Brinsley then turned the gun on himself and took his own life. The gunman is to believed to have been motivated by the killings of Michael Brown and Eric Garner . Earlier today, Brinsley posted a series of threatening messages on his Instagram page: “I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today,” Brinsley wrote. “They take 1 of ours…Let’s take 2 of theirs. #ShootThe Police #RIPEricGarner #RIPMikeBrown This May Be My Final Post.” The shooting was described by one law enforcement official as “an execution.” “The perp came out of the houses, walked up behind the car and lit them up,” a high-ranking officer told the New York Daily News. After what one witness described as “pumping bullets” into the car, Brinsley fled to a nearby subway station, where he shot himself in the head. Gand jury decisions not to indict the officers responsible for the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner have led to protests in metropolitan centers across the country. Several police officers have reported being assaulted during demonstrations, but this is the first time that anger over the deaths of Brown and Garner has resulted in murder.
