Sony PlayStation Classic Mini Console Drops In December

Source: Sony / PlayStation Nintendo’s success with their mini consoles is definitely having an effect on the video game world. First Sega announced its Mega Drive (Genesis) mini , and now Sony is throwing its name in the hat with the PlayStation Classic Mini Console. Its been almost 25 years since the groundbreaking home console, the PlayStation was first introduced to the world. The console was an instant hit with gamers eventually becoming the first console to ship over 100 million units offering for the first time the chance to play 32-bit games with real-time 3D rendered graphics in the comfort of their homes. If you are one of those gamers who wanted to get that feeling again of pressing that power button and seeing the iconic load up screen Sony has good news for you. Today the company announced its new retro console, the PlayStation Classic and it’s gorgeous. The console perfectly emulates the original and is approximately 45% smaller than the original PlayStation console. It also comes with two classic controllers, an HDMI cable to connect with today’s televisions, USB cable. Don’t worry no physical memory cards will be necessary, the system will have a virtual memory card to save your game data. Source: Sony / PlayStation As far as what games will come with the system, it will come pre-loaded with 20 classic PlayStation games, fan-favorites such as  Final Fantasy VII ,  Jumping Flash ,  Ridge Racer Type 4 ,  Tekken 3 , and  Wild Arms is among classic titles that will return with the retro console. The PlayStation Classic will launch on December 3rd, 2018, the same day the original console hit shelves in Japan back in 1994. As far as cost, it will only run you $99.99 and is now available for pre-order at select retailers such as GameStop and Best Buy . So you better move fast cause you know this bad boy is going to sell out quickly. Amber Rose Says They’re Stealing Her Swag, Calls Out Double Standard Of Kanye West’s “I Love It”

Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa’s ex is upset because she feels her SlutWalk mission is being discredited and she also pointed out the hypocrisy of the former’s “I Love It” becoming a hit while it touts some of her same ideas.  Rose took to Instagram to pen a lengthy message outlining her issues, concerns and frustration. “I am extremely frustrated. Every single year I put my blood, sweat and tears into my slutwalk. I did not create the SlutWalk movement. I did, however bring it to the forefront for this generation. People remind of this daily, through their deliberate attacks and evil comments. It becomes extremely frustrating when brands are “inspired” by the movement and curate my actual life story and use it as a marketing tool,” read part of her letter. She went on to detail how she’s been pushing the Amber Rose SlutWalk and SlutWalks all around the world, yet getting no calls from brands inspired by her moves. We have to point out the irony of this particulate line in her missive, though: “I also DON’T do it for the recognition AT ALL but God Damn Bruh smh.” Umm, then why is she upset if she doesn’t care about recognition? Anyway, we gotta admit that she does have a point. She then went on to mention that her ex Yeezy and Lil Pump have a hit with a chorus that’s pretty much in line with her ethos. She said, “Two men made a song that said ‘you’re such a f*cking hoe I love it’ but if I refer to myself as a hoe, take back any derogatory label and turn it into a positive or be confident in my sexuality in anyway muf*ckas need 30 showers and I’m literally the evilest person on earth yet everyone wants to take my f*cking swag but look down on me?” Do you think Amber Rose has a valid argument? My name is Elodie. I’m 16 years old and I live in a small town in Canada. I can finally say it: I met my idol after 4 years of waiting. I bought my tickets to see Justin in December 2012. I was going to the concert with 3 of my friends: Rachel, Elizabeth and Audrey. Rachel’s dad was driving 3 hours to take us to the concert. I was really looking forward to the concert. I was blessed to see my idol for the 3 rd  time in concert.  On July 22, 2012, Rachel tweeted me that she had won the Bieber Fever contest. I couldn’t believe it. My best friend’s dream was coming true and I was really happy for her. I was crying and shaking. It was showing that if you really hang onto your dreams, they will come true, eventually. She didn’t know yet who she was going to bring with her. I was 100% sure it wasn’t going to be me. Turns out, I was totally wrong. At 18:47, Rachel called me. We talk a bit about the concert and the fact that she was meeting Justin. We were both freaking out. At some point, I asked her who she was bringing with her. She took a pause before telling me that I was the one meeting Justin with her. I couldn’t believe it. I was crying, screaming and shaking. I was so happy. My dream was coming true after 4 years of waiting. At the same time, I was kind of sad. I knew that two of my friends would be really disappointed because they wouldn’t meet him. The day of the concert flew by really fast. Before I even knew it, I was in line to get my bracelet for the meet and greet. I was shaking in the line. I was really nervous that something would go wrong and we couldn’t get our bracelets. When the woman gave us our bracelet, Rachel and I started crying. We then put our bracelet and went in line to meet Justin. The line started moving and I was freaking out. That was it. The moment I waited for so long. Security checked our bracelet 100 times to be sure that they were real. We were the next one to enter in the room. When we entered the room, Justin was taking a picture with a family. He was wearing a white and black tank top, a black snapback and red sun glasses. Having him standing in front of me, that’s when I realized that it was all real. I wasn’t dreaming. We took place next to Justin. Rachel was standing next to him. She told him she loved him. We then took the picture. He looked and smiled at us and said: “Thank you guys.” We then left the room, getting away from him, in tears.  I was both happy and sad. I was getting away from my idol and I knew that it was probably the last time I’d be that close to him. Justin is seriously the most perfect and sweetest person on earth. He was so amazing, I will never forget that day and I’m really grateful I got to live this experience with my amazing friend. I will always be thankful for that day. Thank you Justin. A while back, I received M&G tickets to go and see Justin…

A while back, I received M&G tickets to go and see Justin for my birthday. I was so happy that I literally freaked out for months all the way up until the actual trip. I flew out to Atlanta on Thursday and we did different stuff and walked around. We went to the same aquarium Justin went to on the same day and I was freaking out because I could have possibly met him there. Then on Saturday, we got up, dressed and walked over to the arena at around 3 o’clock to meet this guy with our tickets. We stood outside the arena until like 4:30 and then we went in. We got our wristbands and waited in line.  We attended a pre-party and Justin’s DJ even showed up and took pictures with all of us! There was food, candy and they were playing Justin music. Then they had this raffle and they gave away some of Justin’s actual stuff that he used on stage like his drumsticks, sweaty towel, and his tank top. Later we were finally lead into this basketball court and we all lined up and waited our turn. Girls were screaming because they could see someone walking around behind the little curtain. All of a sudden, Kenny came out and walked right by us and that was so cool. Then Dan came out and started talking to everyone. Scooter walked by and I freaked out because I idolize him. Then we looked over and saw Ludacris standing up by the curtain. Justin went inside the curtain and the girls at the front of the line screamed. The line started moving and girls were coming out crying. I got so scared and nervous. The line kept moving faster and faster and before I knew it, it was my turn to go in. This is when it all became a blur. I remember Justin standing there but not really. The girls in front of me finished their picture and it was my turn to walk up to him.  He opened up his arms and looked me in the eyes and ugh..it was so amazing. I walked up to him and kinda gave him a hug. I put my arm around him and we took the picture. He rubbed my back and said, “Thanks sweetie.” As we walked back to our seats, so many thoughts popped into my mind. I was so happy that I had finally met HIM. It was surreal,’ she says in episode of VH1’s ‘Behind the Music.’ By Jocelyn Vena Jennifer Hudson Photo: Alexandra Wyman/WireImage On Monday night’s episode of “Behind the Music,” Jennifer Hudson openly discussed the tragic October 2008 murders of her mother, brother and nephew for the first time, describing that time as “surreal.” “It’s all a blur. It was surreal,” she said in the episode. “It was like I was outside of myself. For almost two weeks straight … [I was] inside one room with just family and friends coming in and out. I prayed when I’d get up in the morning and prayed before I laid down at night.” Not long after Hudson got engaged to David Otunga and released her debut album, the bodies of Hudson’s mother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, 57, and older brother, Jason, 29, were discovered inside the home Hudson grew up in on Chicago’s South Side. Julian King, Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew, was reported missing soon after. His body was later discovered in an SUV on Chicago’s West Side. All three victims died from multiple gunshot wounds. William Balfour , the estranged husband of Hudson’s sister Julia, was charged with the murders. Hudson remained relatively low-profile after the murders until the 2009 Grammys, where she performed “You Pulled Me Through.” “I was definitely thinking of my family when I was singing that song,” she said. “I could hear my brother in my head, like, ‘Jennifer, you need to kill this, you need to get up and do it.’ I knew he would be disappointed if I didn’t do it justice.” Since that time in her life she said, “I feel like I’ve lived about three or four different lives,” adding that her son, David Jr. , “reminds me of my nephew.” “In so many ways I channel [my mother] because she was such a great mom.” She said her son “makes me feel like the most special person on earth. Summer of Discontent Awaits Knight and Day, Jonah Hex

Maybe the Les Grossman movie isn’t such a bad idea after all. With only three weeks to go until release, the box-office tracking on Tom Cruise’s Knight and Day is apparently inline with what the tracking was for Killers prior to its release. Gulp. Were it to disappoint, the heavily hyped and budgeted summer tentpole would join — oh, just about every other heavily hyped and budgeted summer tentpole in 2010. In fact, the only movie that might live up to its advanced buzz is Jonah Hex . The comic-book adaptation is also tracking poorly, which should come as a surprise to not one person on earth. When does Inception come out again? [ Deadline ]
