Justin Bieber vs. Mark Wahlberg: Battle of the Briefs!

It is totally on between Justin Bieber and Mark Wahlberg. Earlier this week, the singer went all Kim Kardashian on fans, trying to break the Internet via the release of his Calvin Klein underwear photos . Most honed in on Bieber’s well-chiseled body; his dynamite six-pack; and his possibly Photoshopped crotch . But one woman focused on a different underwear model instead, as Rhea Durham called out Bieber for failing to live up to the hot standards set by the original Calvin Klein hunk, Mark Wahlberg. Durham believes nearly naked spread in Wahlberg’s 1992 is the “best,” prompting THG to turn this question over to our astute readers: And the Winner is? Justin Bieber Click Here To Vote for Justin Mark Wahlberg Click Here To Vote for Mark It’s Justin Bieber versus Mark Wahlberg! Both are in their underwear on behalf of Calvin Klein. But who looks best? View Poll » Compare and contrast the gorgeous bodies above and vote now: Which would you rather have draped all over you in bed… if you know what we mean?!? Bieber, meanwhile, says he spoke to Mark Wahlberg about his copycat pictorial and that he’s simply “honored” to be a part of the long-time Calvin Klein “legacy.” And then Durham backed track a bit amidst some backlash, Tweeting to Bieber her congratulations that the “torch” of sexiness has been “passed” from her husband to the Canadian singer. But whatever. Those niceties aren’t any fun! Drool over the following pictures and let this fiery feud continue! Justin Bieber vs. Mark Wahlberg: War of the Underwear! 1. Bieber vs. Wahlberg! So. Many. Abs. Who looks hottest in his undies, Mark Wahlberg or Justin Bieber?

21 Celebrities Who Served Time in Prison: You’re Not Alone, Teresa Giudice!

As you’ve likely heard by now, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice reported to prison this week to begin serving a 15 month sentence on fraud charges. Teresa may be feeling awfully alone these days, but she’s far from the first celeb to get hauled off to the big house. Heck, she’s not even the first Bravo reality star to get locked up in the past year! Housewives of Atlanta D-bag Apollo Nida is doing 8 years (!) for bank fraud and identity theft, and the whole thing is making us wonder if Bravo boss Andy Cohen is secretly some sort of crime ring kingpin. We kid. But seriously, getting tossed in the slammer is a proud Hollywood tradition, and you may be surprised by some of the A-listers who have done hard time. 21 Celebs Who Did Time Behind Bars 1. Robert Downey, Jr. Downey did a year behind bars after a number of drug-related arrests. These days, he’s one of the biggest box office draws in the world following what might be the greatest comeback in Hollywood history. And we’re not talking Lohan-style “45 minutes in jail to scare you straight” time here, either. We’re talking about celebs who spent so much time behind bars that they earned colorful prison nicknames and learned to perfect toilet hooch.  Some of the entries on this list may surprise you. ( Lauryn Hill served three months in a federal joint?!) While others are old hat. (Oh, OJ – will you never learn?) In any event, these celebs come from different backgrounds and were at very different stages in their careers when they got locked up. It serves as a distressing reminder that anyone, at any time can make a mistake that will land them behind bars. Fortunately, it also serves as evidence that sometimes even wealth and fame can’t stand in the way of justice being served. Take note, Bill Cosby!

WATCH: Al Pacino And His Hoo-Ah! Hairpieces Aren’t The Only Reason To Watch HBO’s ‘Phil Spector’ Trailer

Can I get a Hoo-Ah ? Al Pacino has had a good run playing reviled real-life characters in HBO movies and miniseries, and, based on this trailer for Phil Spector , he’s going to keep his streak alive when the movie debuts on March 24. The actor, who played suicide machine inventor Jack Kevorkian in the 2010 HBO biopic You Don’t Know Jack , and was particularly brilliant as the homophobic gay lawyer Roy Cohn in the cable network’s adaptation of Lincoln screenwriter  Tony Kushner’s Angels in America in 2003, dons quite a few wacky wigs in this clip to play the legendary 60s music producer who’s serving 19 years to life in a California prison for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson . It’s not just the hair though.  The picture was written and directed by David Mamet , whose mean, hard-boiled writing sounds great coming out of Pacino’s mouth.  “First time you got felt up, guess what? You were listening to one of my songs,”  the actor brazenly tells Helen Mirren who plays his defense attorney. And then there’s the disembodied voice who, referring to Spector, tells Mirren: “He’s a freak. Theyr’e going to convict him of I just don’t like you.” Make that a talented freak. Spector produced albums by the Crystals, Darlene Love, the Ronettes, the Righteous Brothers, John Lennon , the Ramones and Leonard Cohen’s famous disaster of an album, Death of a Ladies Man.  His Wall of Sound production technique influenced Bruce Springsteen’s   Born to Run , among other albums. The scene in the trailer where Spector pulls a gun and shoots it into the ceiling next to a guitarist looks like it may be a recreation of a recording session with John Lennon.  The former Beatle told Spector:  “Phil, if you’re going to kill me, kill me. But don’t fuck with my ears. I need ‘em.” Follow Frank DiGiacomo on Twitter. Follow Movieline on Twitter.

Will Smith is Not Gaye

The film blogosphere has pounced on what feels like déjà vu at best and old news at worst, but just for the record: Will Smith has turned down the role of Marvin Gaye in Cameron Crowe’s planned biopic of the legendary R&B vocalist and songwriter. Much more intriguing is the flashback that follows this disclosure: Crowe planned a Phil Spector biopic with Tom Cruise, but felt like “the third act had not been written” about the pop producer’s life. Smart man. Can that get underway now? Maybe with Shia LaBeouf and a trailer full of wigs? [ Variety ]

Phil Spector Receives Ass-Kicking in Jail

Phil Spector has already been roughed up by the legal system. Now the convicted killer and certified creep is receiving a new taste of jail house justice! The hot-tempered music legend is minding his tongue after having several teeth knocked out by a fellow inmate at the state prison in Corcoran, Calif. “Phil has quite a mouth on him,” says longtime pal Steven Escobar. “Not everyone understands his humor. He said the wrong thing to the wrong inmate.” Lacking any of his trusty firearms, poor Phil Spector wound up with a bruised nose, a black eye and the loss of a couple of caps, according to Escobar. This is Phil Spector. This is just terrifying . “He mouthed off to a big guy, who punched him,” a source says of Phil, who’s serving 19 years to life for shooting Lana Clarkson in the mouth in 2003. “At first, Phil said that he fell down a flight of stairs,” says Escobar of his incarcerated buddy. “Later, he told family and friends what really happened.” A spokesman for Spector’s wife, Rachelle, initially corroborated that there was a jail house incident in November, telling the N.Y. Daily News: “There are safety concerns.” “We don’t want the people who put him in this position to retaliate.” Rachelle did a 180, saying: “Phil was not assaulted. Absolutely not.” Mmm hmm.

Phil Spector from Prison: ‘I’m Enraged with Hate at That Judge for Sending Me Here’

In a letter that Phil Spector — currently serving 19-years-to-life for murdering Lana Clarkson — wrote to a pen pal , and exclusively obtained by Gawker, the music legend is convinced that he is the true victim of his crime. The last we paid attention to Spector, 69, he had been un-wigged and locked up for likely the remainder of his life after Clarkson “kissed the gun” he put in her mouth one drunken night in 2003. But he still has supporters, including Sandra Horine, a 43-year-old mother of two from Alice, Texas, who has become one of his prison pen pals
