The NBA player got pinched, allegedly, for trying to repeatedly get into the VIP section at Rolling Loud Miami despite not having the proper credentials. Seriously. Reports Arizona Sports : Phoenix Suns forward Josh Jackson was arrested in Miami Gardens, Fla., and charged with resisting arrest and escape while attending the Rolling Loud music festival over the weekend. Miami-Dade County police records show that Joshua O’Neal Jackson, born Feb. 10, 1997, was arrested on a felony charge of escape with a misdemeanor for resisting an officer’s arrest without violence. Jackson posted a $1,000 bond on Saturday. Reportedly, Jackson tried to run off on the cops while handcuffed. He is due back in court on June 10. Yes, there is a mugshot. Son! No pun intended. A woman climbed over a barrier at the Wildlife World Zoo in Arizona in an attempt to take a selfie with a jaguar. The woman, who is in her 30s, found herself in trouble when the big cat reached out and grabbed her arm with its paw, leaving lacerations. The woman, whose injuries are non-life threatening, was taken to a hospital. The jaguar will not be put down. Ever since hat first accuser came forward, I gotta admit, I’ve been looking at old Heathcliff Huxtable a little different. I mean, who hasn’t? Check out this story from CNN that details how Bill Cosby has been enjoying his ‘experience’ behind bars. VIA | CNN (CNN) Despite the circumstances,  Bill Cosby  said his time in prison is an “amazing experience,” his press spokesman Andrew Wyatt said in a TV interview. Wait, really? “Yeah, he used the term amazing experience,” Wyatt said. Wyatt’s  interview with WCAU in Philadelphia  provides new details of Cosby’s time behind bars at SCI Phoenix, the prison outside Philadelphia. Cosby was sentenced in September to three to 10 years in prison for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home in 2004. The case came after dozens of women came forward with accusations that Cosby had drugged and assaulted them in similar incidents over his lengthy career atop the comedy world. Source: Christian Petersen / Getty KD Opens Education Center To Help Low-Income Students Prepare For College According to Sports Illustrated , NBA Superstar Kevin Durant is using his platform in a major way, by opening an education center to help low-income students prepare for college. KD partnered with College Track organization to establish the Durant Center Prince George’s County, Maryland to help teens better their future by assisting them in obtaining a college degree. The center will be located in Durant’s hometown of Suitland, Maryland and will focus on providing lower-income students with the assistance needed to start and finish their college education. According to College Track’s website, their mission is to “empower students from underserved communities to graduate from college. By helping our students maximize the value of their college degree—minimize student loan debt, secure internships, and limit the need to work while in college—we prepare today’s youth to succeed in the 21st-century economy.” The initiative began last year after Durant donated approximately $10 million to start construction on the building and the project. The Durant Center will be accessible to all students in the Washington D.C. metropolitan and will be College Track’s first establishment on the East Coast.

SMH: Nevada Inmate Found Dead In Cell After His Execution Was Called Off

Source: Avalon / Getty Inmate Whose Execution Was Called Off Found Dead In Cell A man who was convicted of murder twice–who declared he wanted to die and who Nevada officials said tried several times to kill himself–has been found dead from an apparent hanging after two scheduled lethal injections were postponed, officials said on Saturday. 48-year-old Scott Raymond Dozier was found unresponsive in his solo death-row cell at the state’s maximum-security prison, Department of Corrections spokeswoman Brooke Santina told The Associated Press. Dozier had said repeatedly that he wanted to die instead of spending the rest of his life in prison. “I’ve been very clear about my desire to be executed … even if suffering is inevitable,” Dozier explained in a handwritten note to a state court judge, who postponed his execution in November 2017 over concerns the untried drug regimen could leave him suffocating, conscious, and unable to move. “Just get it done, just do it effectively and stop fighting about it,” the frustrated inmate told The Associated Press in a telephone interview last August. But his bid to become the first Nevada inmate put to death since 2006 was called off twice amid court fights over a three-drug combination that had never been used in the U.S. The starts-and-stops in Dozier’s case propelled Nevada to the top of a national debate about the death penalty and shed light on extraordinary efforts some states take to try to obtain drugs from pharmaceutical companies that insist they don’t want their products used for executions. Dozier gave up appeals for the death sentence he received in 2007 for separate killings of methamphetamine drug trade associates in 2002 in both Phoenix and Las Vegas. Last month, state lawyers revealed in a separate federal lawsuit over Dozier’s treatment behind bars that that he had tried several methods to kill himself in recent months, including attempting to obtain drops of a deadly drug on a piece of paper sent through prison mail. Dozier’s lawyers also revealed that he apparently cut his neck and wrist with a razor in October. Dozier was not on suicide watch Saturday, according to authorities, but was found dead at 4:35 p.m. at the prison in Ely, about 250 miles north of Las Vegas. The prisons spokeswoman said she didn’t immediately know when Dozier had last been seen by guards. Talk about a bittersweet situation for The Situation. On Tuesday, the veteran Jersey Shore cast member celebrated his very first Christmas as a married man, proving as much by posing on Instagram with his wife, Lauren. But here’s the thing… … it was also Mike’s last Christmas before he goes away to prison for several months. Like we said: bittersweet, right? “Merry Christmas from The Situations & don’t forget to treat thyself,” the MTV personality captioned this photo of himself and his soulmate. On October 5, The Situation (aka “Sitch”) was sentenced to eight months in jail for tax evasion, which he pleaded guilty to back in January. According to legal documents, Sorrentino had to surrender to the Bureau of Prisons by January 15 at the latest, which means he has just over two weeks left at home with his new wife. Gotta be a bit scary for the often-drunk celebrity. Since the sentencing, however, Mike has tried to make the most of the free time he has remaining. The clearest example, of course, being that Sorrentino married Lauren on November 1. “We are so incredibly excited to begin our journey as husband and wife!” the high school sweethearts told Us Weekly shortly after exchanging vows, adding at the time: “We are each other’s best friend and together we can handle anything. Thank you to all our family, friends and fans who have supported us every step of the way. “Gym, Tan, Laurens is the new GTL! With Love, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Sorrentino.” As you might have expected, Mike’s co-stars were all in attendance at his wedding. We’re talking about Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Cortese, Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, Vinny Guadagnino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. A few weeks after their gorgeous wedding, Mike and Lauren flew to Tucson, Arizona, enjoying a relaxing and luxurious honeymoon at Miraval Spa. While there, the newlyweds treated themselves to a number of spa treatments, lots of tasty food and many scenic hikes. It may sound simple, but Mike will be missing all of those things when he’s in the clink. On Saturday, meanwhile, the Situation celebrated three years of sobriety . A Puerto Rican woman named Lennys Bermudez Molina says she was trying to find a seat at a Phoenix restaurant last week when she was berated and told her race would be “wiped out.” “I hate to say the political climate is to blame for someone’s outrageous behavior, but I was visibly shaken today with this exchange. I simply asked the woman if I could sit down next to her while I waited for the car to charge,” Molina captioned a Facebook video of the incident. The video shows the spoiled mayo rudely telling Molina she wished the “whole freaking nation” was white. “You will be wiped out … trust me,” added the woman. SMH, the boldness of this beyotch is crazy. Are you even surprised to see yet another racist video ???
