For the past decade, we've watched Amber Portwood on MTV. Honestly, she really hasn't changed that much. She said ridiculously awful things to the people in her life then, and we've heard her do the same now — if anything, she's gotten worse. But somehow, someway, there are several Teen Mom fans who feel the need to defend Amber in the wake of her domestic violence arrest. And Andrew Glennon is not having it. 1. The Arrest Before July 5th, a lot of people thought that Amber’s relationship with Andrew was going OK. But then she got arrested for chasing him with a machete, and then people didn’t think that anymore. 2. So Crazy You’ve probably heard this story a billion times right now, but just in case you haven’t here we go — according to Andrew, Amber got upset because road work prevented them from getting to a fireworks display the evening before, and she went on a rampage for hours and hours. 3. Wow She beat him with a shoe — she admitted to that part, and police have photos of the bruises and scratches on his neck — and threatened to kill herself. She even allegedly took a handful of pills, but threw them back up when Andrew threatened to call 911. 4. Amber, No But things got even worse later, when she got so angry that she grabbed a machete she kept by her bed (we later learned that the machete is just one of the many, many weapons she keeps in her bedroom) and chased Andrew, who was holding baby James, into another room. Andrew held the door closed with his foot while he texted 911 to let them know that he felt his life and his son’s life were in danger. 5. Thank Goodness Amber was arrested and ultimately charged with three felonies — two counts of domestic violence and one count of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. 6. Jonathan Van Ness, one of the stars of Queer Eye on Netflix, has made a pair of startling revelations. Ahead of the release of his memoir, “Over the Top, which hits shelves September 24, Van Ness just opened up to The New York Times about his health and history of addiction. “I’ve had nightmares every night for the past three months because I’m scared to be this vulnerable with people,” the fashion and beauty guru told the publication, adding: “There are issues that need to be talked about.” In the aforementioned upcoming biographies, one of the revelations Van Ness shares is that he tested positive for HIV when he was 25, after fainting while working on a client’s hair. “That day was just as devastating as you would think it would be,” he writes in the book, according to the newspaper. Van Ness went on to say he thinks of himself a proud “member of the beautiful HIV-positive community” and hopes that his transparency surrounding the subject will shut down typical misconceptions. “When Queer Eye came out, it was really difficult because I was like, ‘Do I want to talk about my status?’” he told the newspaper, noting that the political climate swayed his decision. “I do feel the need to talk about this,” he added. This is not all the star confesses, however. He also opens up in his memoir about having been abused by an older boy at a young age, which “planted the seed for other self-destructive behaviors,” according to the this same newspaper feature. “For a lot of people who are survivors of sexual assault at a young age, we have a lot of compounded trauma,” he explained to the newspaper. As a young teenager, Van Ness recalled how he would meet up with older men and that, after using up his money on drugs in college, he “advertised sex for money on Gay.com.” By the time he was in his early 20s, Van Ness was using methamphetamine and ended up going to rehab twice, the publication writes. Thankfully, however, Van Ness says he has not used drugs of any sort in years. Queer Eye is a spinoff of Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. It premiered in February of 2018 and has since amassed a very large following. “These are all difficult subjects to talk about on a makeover show about hair and makeup,” Van Ness adds. “That doesn’t mean Queer Eye is less valid, but I want people to realize you’re never too broken to be fixed.” Elsewhere in this interview, Van Ness addresses the pressure to live out his Queer Eye persona when meeting fans in real life. “If you’re having a terrible moment or in the middle of a conversation about something serious, people don’t care,” he explained. “They want their bubbly J.V.N. and to get that major selfie.” However, he concluded on a positive note: “I want people to realize you’re never too broken to be fixed.”

Simly put, you guys? Maddie Brown for all the wins. Seriously… every last one of them. The daughter Kody and Janelle Brown welcomed her second child into the world back on August 20. The blessed news was kept quiet for a short period of time, prior to the proud grandmother posting a picture of Maddie’s kids and writing as a caption: Axel loves his new little sister Evie (Short for Evangalynn)! Please tell me that other grandmothers can stare at their grandkids photos forever. #grandkids. Since then, Maddie has been kind enough to post a number of adorable pictures of little Evie, including this one immediately below, which features husband Caleb as well: We love it. We also love both the latest snapshot Maddie has published to her Instagram account, along with the amazing caption she included along with it. In the photo, as you’re about to see, little Evangalynn is wearing a floral top and donning a yellow bow. The photo went out to Maddie’s 220,000 followers, as did this simple and motivational sentence: I hope I raise her to think she breathes fire! Simply perfect, right? Both the little girl and also Maddie’s message here, that she wants Evie to grow up to be strong and confident and ready to take on the world. With Sister Wives set to premiere amidt a flurry of troubling rumors regarding Kody and his better halves, it’s refreshing to have some positive news once in relation to this family. It’s a welcome change, in our opinion. To keep the smiles flowing, here’s another look at Axel and Evie: “Someone once told me parenthood consists of a lot of long days and short years. Something that hits home so hard,” Brown wrote on Instagram back on September 12. She then shared several more thoughts about this unique time in her life. “Miss Evie is 3 weeks and and Axel is almost 2.5 and I feel like its all become one tiny little blur and time has robbed me,” she explained, continuing as follows: “How did my first baby get so big? Why is my second already almost a month old!?” We’re sure almost every parent out there has asked the same question at some point in his or her journey. Concluded Maddie in this message: Time is a theif and on days I get irrationally mad at what its robbing me of. I wish I could freeze it and soak up these babies just a little longer! While the United States was spared the brunt of Hurricane Dorian's impact after a close call, the storm brought utter devastation to the Bahamas, which may never fully recover from the impact. As a result, many who were loaded up and ready to assist in the clean-up efforts in Florida (or Alabama, if you went by President Donald John Trump's forecast), decided to set out for the Bahamas instead. Among those who made the trip were several members of the Duggar family, the controversial TLC reality stars turned humanitarians. And while assisting with hurricane relief efforts is generally a rather admirable pursuit, just about every project the Duggars undertake is motivated by their endless pursuit of the almighty dollar. Now, an investigation by some of their critics say their Bahamas trip was no different – and they may have done more harm than good during their time in the ravaged nation. Take a look: 1. The Team Jason, James, John David, and Jana Duggar all made the trip, along with their brother-in-law Austin Forsyth. As you can see, the oft-maligned Jana Duggar didn’t make the cut for the group photo. 2. Odd Woman Out Many fans were upset that the Duggars seemed to be downplaying the contributions of the only female volunteer – especially since this particular female seems to spend all her time supporting her family members while getting none of the attention or credit. But those Jana-related complaints soon gave way to even more troubling concerns. 3. Keeping Mum Typically, something like volunteering as part of a hurricane relief effort is something that the Duggars would go on crowing about for months – admirable, and positive PR for a family that needs it. 4. All Is Not Well But if you follow them on social media, you’ve likely noticed that they’re strangely quiet aboug their time in the Bahamas. It’s like they were never there. Why is this, you ask? 5. Austin Comes Home Joy-Anna Duggar posted this picture to celebrate Austin’s return just a few days after he left for the Bahamas, and as far as we can tell, the trip was never mentioned again by her or anyone else. 6. Helping or Hurting? The reason for this unexpected silence is not that the Duggars decided, for once, to be humble about their “humanitarian” efforts. Demi Lovato took a very bold step this week. And it’s looking like it may soon pay off… … in the form of a red hot boning session with one of America’s most elgible bachelors. As detailed just a short while ago on The Hollywood Gossip, Lovato posted an unedited bikini photo to her Instagram page on Thursday, proudly showing off all her curves for the world to see. “This is my biggest fear. A photo of me in a bikini unedited. And guess what, it’s CELLULIT!!!!” the artist wrote as a caption to this image. Lovato, who has battled substance and self-esteem issues for many years, added: “I just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited – and I hate that I did that but it’s the truth) so that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me.” Here’s the picture in question: Lovato has received very positive feedback from various celebrities and social media users in response to this snapshot. But the voice of one stud muffin has stood out in particular. “Look at me like that again,” Mike Johnson wrote in Demi’s comments section. “Love yaself.” Johnson, for those unaware, was a contestant on the most recent season of The Bachelorette. He quickly emerged as a fan favorite — with Lovato herself leading the very public charge of affection over Milke. After Mike was rejected by Hannah Brown this summer, he jokingly asked about the whereabouts of his future wife on Twitter, to which Lovato replied: I’M RIGHT HERE MIKE I’M RIGHT HERE BOO MY MOM ALREADY LOVES YOU TOO. She also told Johnson that would would gladly “accept” his “rose.” Since this amazing exchange, rumors have swirled about Mike becoming the next Bachelor. This, tragically, appears as if it will NOT be the cas e… which is wonderful news for all Demi and Mike ‘shippers out there. “I would definitely take her out for an initial date, yeah. 100% not scared about it at all,” Mike told Us Weekly several weeks ago when asked about Lovato, hilariously adding: “I would be like, ‘Oh My God! Girl, come here.” He later told People Magazine: “She would definitely be cool to reach out to, but neither one of us have reached out to each other. “I think she’s sexy, she’s got a nice little booty on her and she has good voice.” She also has an admirable point of view on life. This is how Lovato concluded the caption to the unedited bikini photo above: This is what I got. I want this new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else’s standards. So here’s me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day. Just A Friend? Mario Fans Are Probing THIS Photo To Figure Out If He’s In A Relationship…
In one sense, the future looks a little bleak for Kody and Janelle Brown. As a romantic couple, that is. In another sense, however, the future is bright and amazing and even totally miraculous for Kody and Janelle Brown… because they just welcomed a grandchild together! On Friday, August 30, Sister Wives fans learned that the pair’s daughter, Maddie, gave birth several days earlier to a little girl. We know this because Janelle herself alerted followers on Instagram, posting the photo below and including with it a caption that reads as follows: Axel loves his new little sister Evie (Short for Evangalynn)! Please tell me that other grandmothers can stare at their grandkids photos forever. #grandkids. For those unaware: Janelle is Kody’s second wife, with whom he has six kids. By all accounts, it appears as if Janelle was present in North Carolina when her granddaughter arrived, although it’s unclear if the same can be said about Kody. We somehow doubt he was there. Lately, according to a wide variety of sources and outlets, there has been tension between Janelle, Kody and his other wives: Meri, Christine and Robyn. There’s even been talk that Kody may be in the market for a fifth wife as a result. As previously reported, Janelle spent Mother’s Day without Kody, seeming “very lonely,” a Radar Online insider said this past spring. Then, on Father’s Day, Janelle left town to hang out with friends and family in Virginia, fueling even more chatter about this romance being on thin ice. Of all Kody’s wives, Janelle has typically been the least likely to speak out and/or to stir up any sort of controversy — but she did make headlines just a few weeks ago. In mid-August, Janelle shared a photo online of her grandson , Axel, giving us a look at the toddler playing in a splash pad and eating breakfast … and looking downright adorable. Was this merely an example of a proud grandmother? Probably. But some Sister Wives fans have read a lot into the picture, thinking Janelle may have released it as a way to hint that everything is totally fine between her and Kody. See , she could have been saying, nothing to see here! I’m happy and content and drama-free! Who the heck knows for certain, though, right? Overall, Kody’s marriages almost all seem to be on the rocks. Meri has been unhappy for years and even Robyn may be moving away from the family in Arizona. As for Janelle? Yes, she has remained very quiet over the years. In the family’s 2012 book Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of An Unconventional Marriage , though, Janelle discussed living with Kody. “Our main problem was that we all lived under one roof, which never allowed me sufficient alone time with Kody,” she wrote back then. “Kody didn’t know how to behave as my husband in Meri’s house.” She continued at that time: “When we watched a movie together at night, Kody and Meri would sit together on the couch while I felt left out in the cold. “So I learned to separate myself. I began to physically distance myself as much as I could in our very small three-bedroom mobile home. “I didn’t spend much time in the common areas, instead setting up my bedroom as the living space.” This whole set-up just seems so unhealthy for all the women involved.
