Candace Payne of Dallas recently shared a silly video of herself trying on a Chewbacca mask that she purchased at a local Kohl’s. The simple post has since skyrocketed her to stardom and is breaking records with 128,299,835 views. People reports: On Thursday, Candace Payne, a Dallas mother of two, took to Facebook sharing a video of herself in a recently purchased Chewbacca mask, as she laughs hysterically at the voice features in the toy. “It’s the simple joys in life….,” she captioned the clip. According to the BBC, the Facebook Live video has broken the record as the most-watched video on the platform ever. Since it was originally posted, it has viewed over 69 million times. That’s just crazy,” Payne, 37, told the news organization. “I’m just laughing – in all honesty, that is ridiculous. I’ve looked at the number of views and it just seems like someone is just playing with a calculator.” You liiiiike???

Amandla Stenberg Comes Out as Bisexual

Hunger Games star Amandla Stenberg took over Snapchat for Teen Vogue for an evening, and used the platform to confirm her sexual orientation: she’s bisexual. “It’s a really, really hard thing to be silenced and it’s deeply bruising to fight against your identity and to mold yourself into shapes that you just shouldn’t be in,” she said to camera. “As someone who identifies as a black, bisexual woman I’ve been through it, and it hurts, and it’s awkward and it’s uncomfortable.”  Stenberg appears on the cover of Teen Vogue’s February issue, which also features a cover story and interview with the actress, written by Solange Knowles. At just 17, Stenberg is already recognized as an advocate for empowering young black women to be themselves no matter what, embrace their cultural identity and band together to debunk stereotypes and racism. “Here I am being myself and it’s definitely hard and vulnerable and it’s definitely a process but I’m learning and I’m growing,” she said. There certainly seems to be a trend with young stars coming out as not-heterosexual – be it bisexual, pansexual or gender fluid.
