During the press rounds for The Ceremony , Uma Thurman dropped an update of sorts on that Quentin Tarantino Spaghetti Western that was reported last month. According to her, it’s actually not going to be a Western, but a “Southern.” No word yet about the spaghetti.

UPDATE: Buju Banton Found Guilty Of Conspiracy, Attempt To Distribute Cocaine, And Drug Trafficking

As we reported last week, Buju Banton was on trial for various charges surrounding the distribution of cocaine looked shaky. Unfortunately we were right and Buju has been found guilty on most of his charges. Reggae superstar Buju Banton was found guilty of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute five or more kilos of cocaine, attempted possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, and using the wires to facilitate a drug-trafficking offense. Banton was found not guilty of possession of a firearm. The verdict in Banton’s drug trial was just handed down this afternoon. Banton was detained by the court and had his bail revoked. Banton faces life in jail and will be sentenced soon. Hold your head bwoy. Hopefully the judge won’t throw the book at you, but if he does, take it and read it. *Kanye shrug* Source

Only 21 Lost Fans Survive Four-Day Marathon

Congratulations to the 21 hardcore Lost fans who risked blood clots and other serious health and boredom-related complications to sit through all 121 episodes at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square this week. And to the 80 or so fans who dropped out over the four-day marathon event — in spite of paramedics on hand — better luck next time. The Sun reported last month that the first 280 fans would be allowed to participate in the London event. BBC News notes that only a hundred or so Londoners actually showed up to attempt setting the world record — for longest continuous cinema sitting. [ BBC ]
