Lisa Vanderpump and Kim Richards have had an interesting past, and the former has some blunt words for the latter and her recent struggles. With Kim Richards fired , reportedly, from the Bravo hit after yet another drugs and alcohol relapse, Vanderpump offered a nice parting shot. “A reality show should document your reality,” Vanderpump told Radar at (where else) her very own Pump Lounge in West Hollywood. “It shouldn’t be the reason you drink,” Lisa said of Kim’s addiction, and conversely, “the show should not be what keeps you sober.” In an interview with Dr. Phil, Kim said stress from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and social media pushed her off the wagon. Vanderpump reiterates that she’s not stirring anything up regarding Richards’ specific issues, but is speaking in general about “truth.” “I chose to stay out of the whole scenario this season because I was already in that situation two years ago when I questioned Kim’s sobriety.” “I just don’t want to go there again.” “But … If you’re going to sign up for a reality show, be completely honest. If not it is going to come back and bite you in the ass!” “Most important is that Kim gets the help she needs,” she concluded. ”I wish her well. Last week, Kim Richards ditched rehab to attend her daughters wedding in Mexico, and the trip went about as poorly as could be expected. First, Kim got drunk and acted so belligerently that her daughter won’t talk to her and her sober coach quit on the spot. After that, Richards disappeared , leaving her loved ones wondering if she’d managed to make it back to the US. Now, Radar Online Kim has made it home to LA , but has decided to forgo treatment for her well-documented alcoholism. “Kim came back from Cabo last week but is refusing to go back to rehab,” said one insider. “She suffered a huge relapse at the wedding, and was mixing booze and pills. However, Kim is refusing to go back to rehab.” The source says Kim’s sisters have done everything in their power to convince her to return to treatment, but the 50-year-old Housewife remains firmly in denial. “Both siblings are obviously very concerned about her,” says the source “There is only so much the family can do for Kim, and refusing to get help is a big obstacle.” Obviously, the Richards family’s main concern is for Kim’s health, but there are other reasons for her to return to rehab, as well. Sources familiar with her court case say that Kim lucked out after her April 15 arrest and struck a deal that would allow her to avoid jail time in exchange for completing an addiction treatment program. Now, it looks as though Kim has taken a “you’ll have to catch me first” approach to her problems by going fully MIA, presumably somewhere in Mexico. An insider tells Radar Online that Richards “completely disappeared” after the wedding and none of her family has been able to get in touch with her. “Kim has not returned to rehab after the wedding,” the source says. “She will not answer anyone’s calls and is missing in action. Everyone is really worried but no one knows where she is.” We can understand why Kim would’ve wanted to keep a low profile for a couple days (After all, she acted like such a drunken idiot at the party that her sober coach quit on the spot, and her daughter won’t talk to her.), but now that almost a week has passed, there may be cause for concern. In fact, things have gotten so bad that Kim’s bosses can’t even get a hold of her to fire her! “Things do not look good for her returning to the show now,” says the source. “Producers want to give her the ultimatum that if she doesn’t return to rehab by the end of this week that it’s over, but they have not been able to reach her.” Talk of Richards being fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been circulating for months, and she no doubt knew she was on the chopping block, so she may be on to something with this whole “disappear in a foreign country” to avoid getting canned bit. There’s a lot for Portia de Rossi to be happy about. Just this past December, Portia celebrated 10 years with Ellen DeGeneres . But life hasn’t always been so grand for the Scandal star. In the second season of the web series It Gets Better, de Rossi opens up about her battle with bulimia . It Gets Better is a series developed for teenagers struggling with their sexual identity. It often features stars candidly discussing their past demons. Portia discussed her eating disorder and how it was tied the complicated emotions she felt about her sexuality. “I felt tremendous responsibility when I was 12 years old, and I was put up on a catwalk,” de Rossi reveals. She continues, “My modeling agents had told me to go on a diet. So I didn’t eat for 10 days before the.” It wasn’t just the agents prodding at her self-esteem either. Portia adds that even fellow models taunted her about her bushy eyebrows. The actress goes into detail about the difficult battle between her body and her damaging internal dialogue: “When I got in the car after that event and just opened up a bag of my favorite candy and just put my whole head in it and I think, ‘S**t, what have I done? I’ve just undid two weeks worth of dieting.’ So then I vomit.” Because of her eating disorder, de Rossi’s weight dropped to a dangerous 82 pounds. She states, “I didn’t want to think about being gay,” and the struggle with her sexual identity was a contributing factor toward her eating disorder. But as the title of the web series suggests, it does get better. Portia is in a better place, and she hopes her story can help young people who are confronting similar issues. “No matter what it is, you just have to go with whatever makes you smile.” It really does get better.
We hate to say it so bluntly. But Kim Richards’ life is a wreck right now. Things just aren’t going well for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. Kim is scheduled to complete 90 more days of rehab in addition to the month she has already spent in treatment for an alcohol addiction. Plus, her daughter is about to get married, and Kyle Richards isn’t going to the wedding . Now, one of Kim’s BFFs just won a lawsuit against Kim over a pitbull attack. In March 2014, Kay Rozario filed a lawsuit, claiming Kim wouldn’t reimburse her medical bills after Kim’s pitbull, Kingsley, bit her hand. The bite was so bad, it went all the way to the bone. Yesterday, a judge sided with Rozario but drastically revised the amount of damages. Yes, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star will have to pay. But not nearly as much as Rozario wanted. Rozario was seeking more than a million dollars. But according to court documents, she was awarded a mere $8,083. The judge cited that the medical bills were only $4,083. So she doesn’t need a million bucks. However, the judge did agree that she should be awarded more cash for emotional distress and trauma resulting from the attack. Kim’s dog seems to have as many problems as its owner. Kingsley also attacked Kim’s niece, Kyle Richards’ daughter, last November. As of late, the dog is at a private training facility. Last week, Kim Richards was arrested when she got drunk and kicked a cop at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Naturally, Kim was invited to be on Dr. Phil so that the mustachioed quack could pull one of his surprise interventions. (We feel like he stole the idea from an A&E reality show, but we can’t think of the name right now.) The episode hasn’t aired yet, but sources reported yesterday that Kim refused to go to rehab . No one was really surprised by that , but as more stories from the set are emerging, it seems that Kim engaged in plenty of behavior that shocked not only Phil, but also her kids, Chad and Brooke, who joined her for the interview. One witness claims that Kim “screamed obscenities” at Phil before ripping off her mic and storming out of the interview. “Is this an intervention? You can forget this whole thing,” Kim reportedly ranted as she stormed out the building. “I’m not going down there, I’m not going for three months, and I’m not going to miss your wedding,” she said, referring to the fact that Brooke is soon to be married. Apparently, Kim’s kids were eventually able to calm her down, but she still refused to seek treatment. The best Phil and company could get out of her was an agreement to “consider” rehab after she consults with her doctor and “life coach.” Kim has reportedly given Phil’s producers a list of demands that must be met before she’ll consider accepting the treatment that they’re willing to offer her for free ! The soap opera stars, who were friends before joining the Bravo show, have brought much-needed drama and ratings to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Season 5 isn’t even finished airing yet, but producers are ready to ask the dymanic duo to return for another round next season, according to reports. “Producers of the show are very, very happy with Lisa and Eileen’s performances in front of the camera,” an insider said. “They balanced each other out.” “Lisa is a bit more aggressive, with a no-frills, take-no-prisoners attitude.” Eileen, by contrast, “is refined, elegant and all class, which made her scenes with Kim Richards even stronger because she did snap a couple of times.” Indeed, Davidson’s scenes with the original cast member, and of course the Lisa Rinna-Kim Richards fight , proved to be just what the series needed … The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: EPIC FIGHT! “Before the ladies joined the cast, there were serious doubts about whether or not the show would proceed,” an insider revealed to Radar Online . “It had just reached the point where Bravo was just going to cut it, but everyone is so glad that didn’t happen.
