Surprise Surprise…Gloria Allred’s ‘Shocking’ Mittens News Is Divorce-Related Too!!

WTF is going on two weeks before we make one of the biggest decisions this year?? First we had that chicken little loudmouthed prick Donald Trump flossin’ his “big news” all over twitter and news stations, and now attention slore Gloria Allred came out of the woodwork with her own “undercover” operation. We’re used to uncivilized elections in this country but dayum…can we please get through the final weeks before we make our own educated guess vote for who we want to run our country without these two fools diggin’ up more dirt on the candidates?!?!? According to TMZ , Allred’s mission to a Boston courthouse tomorrow has to do with a very high-profile court case that Mittens was involved in! Mitt Romney was heavily involved in the extremely messy divorce of one of his key supporters … and the Boston Globe is going to court first thing Wednesday morning in an attempt to unseal the court file as well as lift a gag order … TMZ has learned. The divorce was between Staples co-founder Tom Stemberg and his first wife Maureen. We’re told the divorce battle lasted for years and was extremely ugly. Sources tell us Romney gave both a deposition in the divorce and testified in the trial. According to our sources, the Boston Globe got a tip that there was “juicy information about Romney” in the sealed documents. Romney, Stemberg and Maureen were all served papers by the Globe notifying them that the paper was trying to unseal the case and lift the gag order enforced on all parties. According to an article in the Boston Globe in 2005, Maureen received nearly 500,000 shares of Staples stock in the divorce … but sold half her shares before the company went public. Our sources say Tom has filed papers opposing the Globe’s motion. Romney’s lawyers have not responded. Tom has been a major Romney supporter, even speaking for five minutes at the Republican National Convention. We’re told Gloria Allred represents someone connected with the divorce and we believe — though we have not confirmed it — that is Maureen. If the gag order is lifted, Maureen and others could freely talk about the divorce … less than two weeks before the election. We’re pretty sure Wddnesday is going to be a huge day in news. Tagg Romney on Debate: I Wanted to Punch Obama!

Mitt Romney’s son, Tagg, wanted to tag the Prez in the face the other night. During a radio interview, the oldest of the Republican White House candidate’s five sons was asked for his thoughts on Tuesday’s presidential debate with Barack Obama. Tagg Romney on Taking a Swing at Obama His reaction to the often heated affair moderated by Candy Crowley ? Tagg’s first instinct was to walk out there and “take a swing at him,” he said of hearing President Obama accuse his father of lying, but “of course you can’t do that.” There’s “lots of secret service around,” for one. Also, this is “part of the process.” One that mercifully comes to an end, for better or worse, on November 6. Tagg, who was clearly kidding about throwing literal punches, added, “You know they will do everything they can to try to make my dad into someone he’s not. We signed up for it.” “We gotta kinda sit there and take our punches, then send them back the other way.” Who ya got?   Obama-Biden Romney-Ryan View Poll »

Barack’s Back! POTUS Puts Robney’s Azz In Check During Tonight’s Debate!

Barack proved himself to be passionate and in control tonight. And he corrected Mitt on more incorrect facts than we can count on one hand. While Mitt was rude and showed a complete lack of respect and understanding of Women, the middle-class, and energy and job concerns, Barack stayed on topic for the majority of the debate and didn’t let Mittens shake him up. Robney offended women when he addressed the question of equal pay and pathetically responded by saying he “had a binder full of women” and would “figure out a way for Mom’s to get home in time to make dinner”. He also lied about contraception coverage for women…he has said in the past that employers can decide if they want to cover it or not. He also blamed single parents for gun control issues and continues to bring up his ‘five points’ without explaining what his ‘five point plan’ actually is. According to CNN… A forceful Obama defended his record and challenged Romney on shifting positions in the 90-minute debate, arguing his Republican rival’s policies would favor the wealthy if elected. Romney repeatedly attacked Obama’s record, saying millions of unemployed people and sluggish economic recovery showed the president’s policies had failed. Obama was more animated and engaging than his understated and widely panned performance in their first debate nearly two weeks ago. “Governor Romney says he’s got a five-point plan. Governor Romney doesn’t have a five-point plan; he has a one-point plan. And that plan is to make sure that folks at the top play by a different set of rules,” Obama said about his opponent’s approach for boosting the economy. Romney shot back that Obama was “great as a speaker, but his policies don’t work.” “That’s what this election is all about,” Romney said, saying he would prioritize middle class growth. “It’s about how we can get the middle class of this country a bright and prosperous future.” However, Romney failed to provide further specifics of his tax policy, even when one audience member asked about unspecified deductions and loopholes the candidate says he will eliminate. On a sensitive foreign policy topic, the candidates clashed at the front of the stage over the September 11 terrorist attack in Libya that killed four Americans, with Romney suggesting the Obama administration played politics by failing to immediately acknowledge what happened. Obama shot back that the suggestion anyone in his administration would play politics on such an issue was “offensive.” When Obama said he called it a terrorist attack shortly afterward, Romney challenged him, and Obama responded “check the transcript.” “More debt and less jobs. I’m going to change that. I know what it takes to create good jobs again,” Romney said, addressing the first-time voter. “When you come out in 2014 — I presume I’m going to be president — I’m going to make sure you get a job.” The most recent CNN “poll of polls” — an aggregate of the latest major surveys — showed Romney with a slight edge nationally at 48. In the battleground states considered up-for-grabs, polls show Romney has narrowed Obama’s lead or caught the president just three weeks before the election. The Obama campaign conceded he had a bad night in the first debate and promised a more aggressive approach in New York. A third and final debate focusing on foreign policy will take place October 22 in Florida. Regardless of who you’re voting for, tonight was a pretty dope comeback for Barack. Images via Getty

Rosie Perez Slams Romney "It Would Be Helpful to be Latino" Comment

While Mitt Romney’s “47 percent” remark became a campaign land mine for the Republican this fall, another quote from that same viral video has been largely ignored. Until now, if Rosie Perez has anything to say about it. Easier as a Latino? (Rosie Perez Ad) The actress just recorded an ad for a Democratic PAC focusing on Romney joking that if his Mexican-born father had had Mexican parents, he would “have a better shot at winning this.” “I say that jokingly,” the candidate added, “But it would be helpful to be Latino.” The ad cuts from the laughter of Romney donors to Perez’s own laughter. “Hispanics represent 17 percent of the population and account for less than 2 percent of all elected and appointed officials. The advantage is obvious,” she says, sarcastically. She then goes on to mockingly name the U.S.’s Latino presidents (Jorge Washington, Jorge Bush, etc.) and generally makes fun of Mitt for being rich. That’s about it. Romney and President Barack Obama square off Tuesday in the second of three presidential debates . If that latter doesn’t show up this time, no ads are going to help.
