Derick Dillard Comes Clean: We’re Breaking All of Jim Bob’s Rules!

We’ve known for some time now that Derick Dillard is not Jim Bob Duggar’s favorite son-in-law. In fact, it’s been said that Jim Bob flat-out doesn’t like Derick — and frankly, it’s not hard to see why. After all, other than Josh, no one in the Duggar clan has done more to compromise the family business than Derick. The clearest evidence of Derick’s ineptitude is the fact that he got fired from Counting On  and convinced his wife, Jill Duggar, to quit the show as a gesture of solidarity. But leaving his family without a source of income was just the first in a long line of eff-ups for Derick. From there, Derick’s bigoted social media tirades continued unabated, as he attacked other TLC stars such as Jazz Jennings ad Nate Berkus in the sort or ignorant tirades for which he’s become famous. Jim Bob and company probably didn’t object to the belief system behind Derick’s unhinged rants, but the Duggars likely took issue with the public nature of his hate speech. After all, not unlike the evangelical church that seems to have served as his business model, JB built an empire that’s based on strict adherence to a set of mostly arbitrary rules. These days, Jim Bob’s offspring — particularly his daughters — are flouting his guidelines left and right, and the patriarch reportedly blames the men they married. Jinger Duggar began wearing pants in defiance of the family dress code after she was granted permission by her husband, Jeremy Vuolo. And now, Jill Duggar is allowing her kids to enjoy secular entertainment — a massive no-no in the Duggars’ world. And not surprisingly, it seems the Duggars believe Derick is squarely to blame. And it seems D-Dill may have just confirmed their suspicions on social media. Earlier this week, a fan asked Derick, “Why don’t you guys get a TV?” “How do you know we don’t have one?” Derick replied. If you’re a longtime Counting On fan, then you’re probably already aware that the Duggars grew up in a house without television. In recent months, Jill and Derick have taken flak for allowing their children access to such popular children’s characters as Peppa the Pig. That may seem like just about the most innocent thing imaginable, but the Duggars are of the belief that all children’s entertainment that all children’s entertainment should have to do with fire and brimstone. Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro: Good God, Are They Engaged?!?

According to recent Instagram post, Jen Harley may have given Ronnie Ortiz-Magro a black eye . In return, according to many social media users, Ronnie has given Jen… a diamond ring? Wait, WHAT?!? Yes, the rumor of an engagement between this VERY volatile couple has been making its way around the Internet. While this may seem difficult to believe, considering the numerous instances of actual assault between stars, Harley was spotted around Beverly Hills this week with the aforementioned diamond ring on her finger. Could this really mean that Ronnie popped life’s biggest question to his occasionally violent girlfriend ? Are we really about to see another Jersey Shore wedding, following The Situation’s nuptials just last week to his long-time lover, Lauren? It would make sense only in that Ronnie and Jen are parents to a little girl named Ariana and at least getting married would (maybe) provide her with a more steady home life. Then again, it would NOT make sense because Ronnie and Jen are clearly not right for each other. They yell and scream at each other and push and shove each other and we’re pretty sure Harley just recently tried to extort Ronnie by demanding $20,000 from him, as you can see by the exchange below. These two just don’t seem to communicate very well. Nevertheless, they continue to hang out. Earlier this month, Jen and Ronnie enjoyed a date at the Sugar Factory in Miami in celebration of the former’s birthday. So… what is the conclusion here? Are they engaged? No, writes The Blast . This website investigated the troubling rumor and noticed that Harley wore the same diamond ring on her finger several weeks ago in a different photo with Ronnie. It doesn’t appear to signify any agreement to get hitched. On most epsiodes of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 2, we’ve witnessed Ronnie’s friends try to talk some sense into their co-star and good friend. They’ve seen how Jen treats him and listened to all the lame excuses Ronnie has made for why he refuses to leave her. At this point, most of the Jersey Shore castmates have given up on changing Ronnie’s mind, which is why we actually wouldn’t be shocked if he and Harley do end up as husband and wife at some point. They’re simply drawn to the drama. And they probably get along well in the sack, if you know what we mean. Still, as we so often say to end posts about Jen and Ronnie, they have a four-month old daughter. Nothin’ Booler Than Giving Back: YG Donates $150,000 To GirlCodeLA

On August 1, 2018, rapper and entrepreneur YG donated $150,000 to startup company GirlCodeLA to help usher in a generation of Los Angeles girl coders. YG is setting out to create more opportunities for future female entrepreneurs and that can be attributed to his close relationship with business partner Karen Civil. “Gender bias plays a role in the amount of exposure students receive in regards to technology and coding. This leads to influence future decisions within their field, creating smaller opportunities for diveristy. With my donation, I hope they’ll be able to expand their reach of future female coders and programmers. I want to make sure I’m doing my part, I got a daughter and I respect the G Code.” GirlCodeLA is an organization that is aimed to develop and continue to expose young women to computer science, business, and software engineering. All participants have the opportunity to learn, understand, and execute a plan to develop a career through classes, seminars, and hands on training. The organization was founded by  entrepreneur, Dez White, she turned her interests toward technology and application development into a success story when she launched Invisible Text which turned into Invisible Social, Invisible Email, and Invisible Call in 2014.

Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Celebrate July 4, Manage to Avoid Assaulting Each Other

We give up. When it comes to the relationship between Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, we just… give up. You can go ahead and try to figure these two out; we’re just gonna sit back and eat some hot dogs on this special birthday. Indeed, the Jersey Shore cast member and his on-again/off-again/on-again/off-again girlfriend apparently put their differences aside on Wednesday in order to celebrate America. Ortiz-Magro shared a photo on Instagram Stories this morning of himself and Harley snuggled close, flag-themed hearts floating around the duo as she made a kissy face at the camera. “Happy independence day,” over the image. How cute, right? How sweet, no? How romantic, yes? Sure, we guess. But that would only be true if you ignored the fact that Harley was arrested mere days ago for DRAGGING RONNIE BY A CAR in Las Vegas. The couple had reportedly got into an argument on the way home from a barbecue and, as Ronnie tried to unbuckle his seatbelt and exit the vehicle, Harley allegedly sped away, dragging her boyfriend down the street. She was taken into custody by local authorities, but will not be charged with any crime. It’s important to note two things while we relay that news: 1. Harley and Ronnie are the new parents to a baby girl named Ariana; she was born on April 3. (And she was in the car at the time of the above incident.) 2. This above incident was certainly NOT the first time Ronnie and Jen got into it in a very serious manner. In late April, Jen and Ronnie went back and forth in very ugly fashion on social media. She accused him of cheating. He accused her of holding on to old sex tapes of herself and an ex. Harley slammed Ronnie as a “cokehead” and deadbeat dad. Ronnie blasted Harley as a “cum dumpster.” It was a vicious and as X-rated as nearly any viral argument we can remember — and you can relive the madness below: View Slideshow: Ronnie Magro Brawls with Girlfriend on Instagram Live, Apologizes to Fans After Breakup There’s also a video online of Ronnie verbally attacking Harley and seemingly coming close to physical blows. It’s troubling and scary and disturbing and you can judge it for yourself here: Ronnie Magro Gets Into Altercation with Jen Harley Ronnie and Jen have tried to maintain a healthy relationship amidst all this craziness, mostly for the sake of their newborn. “I remain focused on my daughter and she is my No. 1 priority,” Ronnie told us Weekly a little while back, for example. Last we heard, however, friends were encouraging Ronnie to stay away from Harley and to even file for primary custody of Ariana. It doesn’t look like he’s taken this advice, however, based on the first photo posted above. We’re afraid, though. There’s plenty of July Fourth to go and we have a feeling that if these two are together… and the alcohol is flowing… that things may get explosive between them tonight. And not because they’ll be watching fireworks.

Kanye West: Kim Kardashian Almost Divorced Me Over Slavery Comments!

Remember back in May when Kanye West said slavery was a choice and was justly torn limb-from-limb by the entire internet? Perhaps after weeks of concerted effort, you succeeded in blocking that shameful incident from your memory — but it’s still very much on the minds of both Kanye and his long-suffering wife. Earlier this month, Kanye debuted a new studio album , on which he made some surprising and disturbing revelations about his marriage and the way it’s been negatively affected by his erratic behavior. Now, the controversial rapper has gone into greater detail in a surprisingly candid interview with The New York Times . West says that after he made the infamous slavery comment during a conversation with TMZ staffers, he had reason to believe Kim Kardashian was considering ending the couple’s four-year marriage: “There was a moment where I felt like after TMZ, maybe a week after that, I felt like the energy levels were low, and I called different family members and was asking, you know, ‘Was Kim thinking about leaving me after TMZ?’ So that was a real conversation,” he told the paper. The comment won’t come as much of a surprise for fans who have listened closely to the lyrics on Kanye’s eighth studio album, titled simply ‘Ye : “I said, ‘Slavery a choice,’ they said, ‘How, Ye?'” West raps at one point, adding: “My wife callin’, screamin’, say, ‘We ’bout to lose it all! … Told her she could leave me now, but she wouldn’t leave.” Obviously, not every line in every rap song is an accurate reflection of the emcee’s real-life experiences, but Kanye prides himself on his authenticity and often insists that he’s 100 percent straightforward with his fans. That’s why it’s so troubling that the song contains at least one line in which he seemingly alluded to being unfaithful. “Told my wife I’ve never seen her After I hit it, bye Felicia, that’s the way that I’ma leave it,” Kanye raps on a song fittingly titled “Yikes”. Sounds like Kim had reasons for considering kicking Kanye to the curb that go beyond his astonishingly ignorant remarks. As for those dreadful comments Kanye is still defending them, telling the Times : “I said the idea of sitting in something for 400 years sounds—sounds—like a choice to me, I never said it’s a choice. I never said slavery itself—like being shackled in chains—was a choice. “That’s why I went from slave to 400 years to mental prison to this and that. If you look at the clip you see the way my mind works.” All of this comes at a time when Kim is being praised for her efforts to secure presidential pardons for non-violent offenders serving life sentences. Jen Harley Mug Shot, Details of CRAZY Ronnie Magro Assault Released

Jen Harley was arrested on Sunday for the alleged assault of Ronnie Magro-Ortiz, generally prompting two responses from the public: These two REALLY do not belong together. How the heck could anyone assault the blob of muscles that is Ronnie Magro-Ortiz?!? In response to the first statement above, we say: no d’uh . In response to the second, we now have some new information to share. According to Las Vegas Police Department sources who spoke to The Blast, Jen and Ronnie were on their way home from a barbecue on Sunday afternoon when they got into an argument. Soon enough, Jen started hitting Ronnie in the face as she drove and he sat in the passenger’s seat. Then, the car ran over something in the road and blew a tire. As Ronnie attempted to exit the vehicle, Harley revved the engine and took off, dragging Ronnie behind him and giving him severe road rash. So that would be how one assaults a man the size of Ronnie: you use an object that’s even larger than he is. There are a few conflicting reports about exactly what went down between these estranged stars, however. The Blast, for example, quotes a source who says “a call came into police from a caller who indicated that there was a suspicious vehicle with two flat tires on the side of the road and a bleeding man standing outside who was trying to pull the female out of the vehicle.” Trying to pull a female out of the vehicle?!? We hadn’t heard anything about that before. All we know is that Jen was the person who got arrested for domestic battery, not Ronnie; which is not to say he was totally innocent. We can’t say for certain what led to this fight or precisely how physical each side got with the other. But we can verify this disturbing fact: the occasional couple’s two-month old daughter, Ariana, was in the car at the time of the fracas. Yikes. Harley and Ronnie welcomed their only child into the world on April 2. Just a few weeks later, they went back and forth over social media in an especially ugly spat, one that centered around both being accused of infidelity and Ronnie slamming Jen – THE MOTHER OF HIS NEWBORN! – as a ” cum dumpster .” Shortly after this public tiff, footage surfaced of Ronnie threatening Harley. With his words, yes. But seemingly getting close to doing so with his fists, as you can see down below here: Ronnie Magro Gets Into Altercation with Jen Harley Earlier this month, cops were also called after Harley and Magro-Ortiz got into a heated argument at Planet Hollywood while Ortiz-Magro was shooting season 2 of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. Somehow, despite all this drama, the two have attempted to remain a couple. We guess this is sort of admirable, assuming they were doing so for the sake of their toddler. But we’re way past admirable now. There’s nothing to commend anyone for when he or she is simply putting a tiny human being in the middle of vicious and violent fights. “It’s better they are apart, and they are slowly realizing that,” a source has told People Magazine. “It will be better for their daughter in the end.” We could not agree more. A second insider told this same publication that Jen and Ronnie are “toxic,” adding: “When things are good, they’re good, but when they’re bad, they’re really bad. When you put two alphas in a room together, they’re going to clash.” For the record, by the way, Harley has been released on $3,000 bail. Justin Bieber Accused of Hurling N-Word During Fight In Shocking Lawsuit

You may have read that headline and thought to yourself, Hey wasn’t Justin Bieber already accused of using the N-word ? Short answer: yes. Long answer: Yes, and there was video evidence, but Bieber has a long history of being awful, yet somehow he always gets a pass. The latest accusation against Bieber comes from a man named Tobias Cannon who claims that he got into an altercation with Bieber at the 2016 NBA finals in Cleveland. According to a lawsuit filed this week, Bieber physically assaulted Cannon, but the Canadian businessman declined to retaliate. Cannon says that Bieber shouted the n-word at him as a form of humiliation. “Justin Bieber has a history of inappropriate behavior,” Cannon’s lawyers write. They go on to say that Bieber is “fortunate” Cannon did “not engage in mutual combat,”  That’s some top-notch shade, Cannon’s lawyers. Justin’s longtime manager Scooter Braun has already come to his client’s defense with a lengthy online statement. “Justin Bieber has done a lot of stupid things in his past but what he has also done is apologize and own those mistakes,” Braun writes. “This most recent claim against him is completely false and a fabrication from a man who tried to push for money for the last several years.” Braun continues: “He never said these things before because they never happened. This is a smear tactic to get money and it’s gross. “So I repeat… these statements again Justin are completely false and we won’t be scared or blackmailed. This man should be ashamed of himself. Real racism exists.. but it doesn’t apply here. Just horrible.” We’re not saying Braun is definitely lying or Bieber definitely acted like a colossal douche basket at the finals (although, probably and probably would be our guesses), but it’s pretty wild that he’s claiming Justin would never use that word. Did we mention he’s been caught gleefully saying it on video on multiple occasions? Cannon’s lawyers have already fired back, saying: “This lawsuit was not filed for publicity. If that was the case, it would have been filed at the time the assault was first reported.” It may not have been filed for publicity — but it’s likely to result in a lot of bad press for the Biebs. Jen Harley: Yes, I Cheated on Ronnie, But…

Before we go any further, allow us to say up front: There are no winner in this situation. There are no sides to take between Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Both really need to go away and figure out some sort of amicable relationship for the sake of their daughter and that’s pretty much where we stand on their never-ending, ridiculous, scandalous drama. Still, we’re obligated to report on it. So here we go… During this week’s episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation , Ronnie told his roommates that he didn’t completely trust Harley because she had cheated in the past. (The installment was filmed months ago, remember, prior to Harley giving birth to Ronnie’s daughter in early April.) “You’re nervous she’s going to cheat on you?” Deena asked Ronnie at one point. “Yeah,” he replied. “Because she did before?” Snooki follow. “Yeah,” he said again. The thing is, of course, Ronnie cheated on Harley on muliple occasions himself; shamelessly so, as we witnessed on previous installments of the Jersey Shore reboot. “Nobody’s perfect. I did my dirt too,” Ronnie did acknowledge on this new episode, adding as an excuse: “But everything I did was a reaction to her actions. I’m also not used to being with someone like myself. Like, I met my match.” That much has been clear by the very public fights Jen and Ronnie have engaged in of late. Before we recount those, however, let’s hear from Harley, shall we? Is Ronnie at least telling the truth? Did she sleep with another man behind his back? “I’m sure he’s referring to when we were dating for about a month or two,” Harley tells Us Weekly , confessing to her sins, but making it sound like they shouldn’t really count. She continued: “We hadn’t established a real relationship; my ex came back around. I had mixed feelings at the time. We just got out of a four-year relationship.” A mere month after becoming parents, Jen and Ronnie WENT OFF ON EACH OTHER via social media . “Note to self: Can’t turn a natural-born HO, into a HOUSEWIFE,” Ronnie said to open this back-and-forth several weeks ago, adding of his baby mama: If you find them in the gutter, leave them in the gutter.” He followed this up with another post that read as follows: “If your significant other keeps sex videos of their ex, shouldn’t they show enough respect to delete them, esp. after being in a new relationship for over a year?” Ronnie also referred to Harley as a ” cum dumpster .” This happened a few weeks after she gave birth to his child. As you can see, these two bring out the worst in each other. And the worst of it all was captued on camera: Ronnie Magro Gets Into Altercation with Jen Harley In her chat with Us Weekly, Harley says her cheating with her ex is what got Ronnie all worked up. “This is all part of the Instagram fight we got into because of this incident,” she admits. “When I came clean about this, he came clean about three times he hooked up with other girls in the same time period. “We decided we wanted to be together and work though this and not to ever do it again.” This is what Harley says… but consider what she allegedly did in Las Vegas on June 7. She surprised her man in diabolical fashion, an insider tells this same tabloid, while was shooting scenes for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 2. “Ronnie and Jen have been fighting over their daughter,” this source said of the recent fight, explaining: “Ronnie has been filming the show in Vegas the last couple of days and Jen wouldn’t tell him where their daughter is. She showed up to the hotel where they were filming. “Jen lunged, spit and shoved Ronnie. Hotel security got involved, who then called the Las Vegas police department.” Sigh . It bears repeating AGAIN that these two have a very young child together. They really need to work something out.
