On Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 7, the gang celebrated gay pride week in West Hollywood, Lisa hired a new hostess and Stassi was back with a vengeance. Yes, Stassi Schroeder has been back in L.A. throughout the third season, but only on Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 7 did we see old, pot-stirring ways return. Also, Kristen Doute and Tom Sandoval butted heads, and HARD. Not literally, of course … but it nearly came to that for the exes. She also said Scheana Marie’s over-the-top eyebrows looked like two butterflies landed on them and s–t on a crayon. Hey, it was pride week, come on. Stassi’s alleged boyfriend must not be putting out as often or as well as she’d like, because she certainly has a lot to say about other people’s relationships. We’re starting to question if that “boyfriend” is even real, come to think of it. People have been known to “date” sex toys and/or porn before. It makes you think. Tom Schwartz, also known as Captain Passive, doesn’t seem convinced that Stassi has Katie’s best interests in mind, or that Jax poses a real threat here. “Contrary to what Stassi believes, not everything’s about Jax, okay. More importantly, not everything’s about you, Stassi,” Tom said, and very little changed. Meanwhile, Kristen Doute and Tom Sandoval were the other featured couple of the week, which is funny since they broke up like an eternity ago now. She just can’t escape him, even though he seems happy with Ariana Madix. Maybe because of that reason. Either way, her mail is still going to his place! OMG! Time to make a histrionic appearance to go over there and retrieve it. Knowing something was up, Tom invited his namesake over over to act as backup. Vanderpump Rules Cast Photos 1. It is certainly an entertaining, growing and diverse (at least in terms of personality) cast of characters, as fans know well … She certainly seemed like hooking up was on her mind, if not her goal. She told new boyfriend James she “might have a nip slip” in the outfit she had picked out. Because that’s normal. Anyway, it turned into a big fight. Obviously. She accused him of cheating, he denied it, tears were shed and so much drama unfolded. So much unnecessary drama, it goes without saying. Tom appears to have moved on, and Kristen is dating someone new too. Why the deja vu all over again? Speaking of moving on, Jax proclaimed after 10 seconds of meeting new hostess Vail that he’s “going to sleep with her, probably.” We would expect nothing less.

If you watched Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 3 last night, then you may have received an unexpected lesson in British employment customs courtesy of Lisa Vanderpump and notable douche James Kennedy . It turns out that in the UK, if you get canned from your job, all you have to do is write your boss a note and she’ll hire you back! Who knew?! Watch Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 3 Online Yes, Lisa re-instated the King of the Beamer Selfie last night for reasons that surely have everything to do with his skills as a busboy and nothing to do with TV ratings and pressure from producers. In case you missed Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 1 : Lisa fired James for picking a fight with a Tom Sandoval. Oh, and we learned last night that James also stole booze while working. Even worse, he’s a grown man who apparently drinks white sangria. Needless to say, Lisa had plenty of reasons for kicking James to the curb. Yet for some reason, she seems to be on the verge of giving him a second chance. The whole thing begs the question: WTF?! Lisa hasn’t officially announced her intention to welcome James back to SUR yet, but we’ve all seen enough Bravo shows to know that they didn’t waste all that time on the “Brit-douche begs for his job back” storyline just to have nothing come of it. Granted, Sandoval laid hands on James first, but dude was screaming in his face, almost literally begging to be hit. The worst part of all this is that James fully ignored Lisa’s initial firing and just showed up to work the next day like nothing had happened. We love some douche-drama as much as anyone, but doesn’t it seem like the already-lax Lisa is setting a dangerous precedent by canning someone for good cause and not sticking to her guns? Do you think we’ve spiraled into a modern Jim Crow era? Tariq Nasheed is well-known for his Hidden Colors documentary series, exploring African American history and racism. Nasheed shared his thoughts with HuffingtonPost : On the inspiration behing “Hidden Colors 3: The Rules of Racism”: The Trayvon Martin situation. When that verdict came through, I saw the way black people reacted to it, and I don’t think people were serious enough about the outcome and the ramifications of that. When the Trayvon Martin decision happened and black people didn’t act accordingly, that should have snapped everybody to attention. We kind of let that slide. That gave white supremacists a green light to go further, so now there are cops beating up black women, beating up more children, shooting more black people … We’ve seen Jim Crow racism come back. It’s Jim Crow 2.0, looped back around. You can’t play games with systematic white supremacy. We have to be cognizant of the rules of racism. On Eric Garner’s death: We have to understand with the Eric Garner case that this is Jim Crow 2.0. We are literally back in the new Jim Crow era. People try to dismiss racism, because they’re not saying “ni**er go home.” They don’t have the signs. The racism and the white supremacy is still there — it’s just not written down anymore. That’s the only difference. Eric Garner was lynched. That was nothing more than a lynching. You don’t have random lynch mobs running around like they used to in Jim Crow. The police are the lynch mobs now — they’re the designated lynch mobs. And they’re showing you they can kill a black person on camera, and possibly still get away with it. They’re building their defense now, trying to say that he died of a heart attack, when we saw that the man was choked out. Black people have to be empowered enough to put politicians in place to get these rogue cops out of the system, to shut down these police forces that will support rogue cops and white supremacists. This police officer has been known to make racialized arrests, he’s been sued a couple of times — a lot of people don’t know that. We have to pool together our finances to shut people like that down.

She isn’t someone I even want to associate myself with anymore.
