Meanwhile, Khloe had mixed feelings about turning 30 on Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons Season 1 Episode 4 , given all of the turmoil in her life … Watch Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons Season 1 Episode 4 Online If you follow celebrity gossip or the family’s social media accounts, what you see when you watch Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons online is no surprise. Scott made the decision to get help for his drinking, though he admitted he used to say this just so people would stop bothering him about going to rehab. This may be foreshadowing in a sense, as we get the impression that rehab isn’t going to take. We’ll find out in the coming weeks how long he lasts. Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian was at her doctor’s in L.A., confiding to Kendall Jenner during her ultrasound about everything going on with Scott. Disick surprised everyone by checking into rehab before Kourtney returned to the Hamptons, which she told Kim Kardashian later that she was grateful for. Saying goodbye would have been too hard, she said, and we see where she’s coming from, but again, we’re guessing he’ll be back before too long. Khloe and Kim flew out Kourtney’s therapist to talk to her, almost like an intervention, but she was receptive and opened up about this very concern. 11 Times Scott Disick Was a Douche 1. When He Ragged on Kim’s Marriage Lord Disick often says what we’re thinking. Especially when he’s ragging on his baby mama’s clueless sisters. Kourtney wasn’t the only one in need of therapy. Khloe Kardashian was wrestling with some inner demons of her own and dreading turning 30 because she thought life would be different at this point. Her family threw her an elaborate yacht party, and French Montana surprised Khloe with another party in the Bronx, but even that didn’t cheer her up. When Kris Jenner downplayed the fact that Khloe was turning the big 3-0 and questioned why she moved on with French Montana so fast, Khloe freaked: “Don’t say I moved to something so quickly, because you know for how may f–king years I was dealing with something … You’re so simple minded!” “You have no idea how I feel every day!” Khloe said. “If I had my way, I would still be married to Lamar! Even right now, today, I wish I was still married to him!” Kim Kardashian , 34, told Khloe later that she felt the same way about turning 30 but that things worked out for her, and to stay the course and keep the faith. That’s a little more like it. 24 Klassic Khloe Kardashian Quotes F-ck me with a dildo if that’s what you think. Permalink: Eff me with a dildo! Added: July 09, 2014 1. Eff me with a dildo! Race Matters: Hidden Colors Filmmaker Tariq Nasheed Says Eric Garner’s Death Was A Lynching – “This Is Jim Crow 2.0″

Do you think we’ve spiraled into a modern Jim Crow era? Tariq Nasheed is well-known for his Hidden Colors documentary series, exploring African American history and racism. Nasheed shared his thoughts with HuffingtonPost : On the inspiration behing “Hidden Colors 3: The Rules of Racism”: The Trayvon Martin situation. When that verdict came through, I saw the way black people reacted to it, and I don’t think people were serious enough about the outcome and the ramifications of that. When the Trayvon Martin decision happened and black people didn’t act accordingly, that should have snapped everybody to attention. We kind of let that slide. That gave white supremacists a green light to go further, so now there are cops beating up black women, beating up more children, shooting more black people … We’ve seen Jim Crow racism come back. It’s Jim Crow 2.0, looped back around. You can’t play games with systematic white supremacy. We have to be cognizant of the rules of racism. On Eric Garner’s death: We have to understand with the Eric Garner case that this is Jim Crow 2.0. We are literally back in the new Jim Crow era. People try to dismiss racism, because they’re not saying “ni**er go home.” They don’t have the signs. The racism and the white supremacy is still there — it’s just not written down anymore. That’s the only difference. Eric Garner was lynched. That was nothing more than a lynching. You don’t have random lynch mobs running around like they used to in Jim Crow. The police are the lynch mobs now — they’re the designated lynch mobs. And they’re showing you they can kill a black person on camera, and possibly still get away with it. They’re building their defense now, trying to say that he died of a heart attack, when we saw that the man was choked out. Black people have to be empowered enough to put politicians in place to get these rogue cops out of the system, to shut down these police forces that will support rogue cops and white supremacists. This police officer has been known to make racialized arrests, he’s been sued a couple of times — a lot of people don’t know that. We have to pool together our finances to shut people like that down.

Oranges Takes Neighborly Scandal to a New Coast

Suburban America has its share of Oranges . Orange County, CA, probably the richest and best known of the lot (there are of course fellow O.C. namesakes in New York and Florida) has had its hare in the spotlight with the original Real Housewives , not to mention that teen/young-adult primetime soap The O.C. and who could forget MTV’s Laguna Beach . But watch, out, there’s a new Orange grabbing the spotlight, and it even grabbed O.C. star Adam Brody who plays the successful son of a couple living in a leafy neighborhood in West Orange, NJ. The Oranges promises to take a bite out of the upper middle-class intrigue market. But Brody appears to be incidental in the block scandal taking place on – you might have guessed, Orange Drive. The quick plot goes something like this: Two dads are morning jog-BFFs who live across the street from each other. One daughter comes come for a holiday after breaking up with her boyfriend. Instead of going for the neighbor’s good looking age-appropriate son (that would be Brody) she takes a liking for the dad – a big uh-oh! And even a bigger problem, the neighbor’s dad goes for it… Here’s the official synopsis and trailer below : David and Paige Walling (Hugh Laurie, Catherine Keener) and Terry and Cathy Ostroff (Oliver Platt, Allison Janney) are best friends and neighbors living on Orange Drive in suburban New Jersey.  Their comfortable existence goes awry when prodigal daughter Nina Ostroff (Leighton Meester), newly broken up with her fiancé Ethan (Sam Rosen), returns home for Thanksgiving after a five-year absence.  Rather than developing an interest in the successful son of her neighbors, Toby Walling (Adam Brody), which would please both families, it’s her parents’ best friend David who captures Nina’s attention. When the connection between Nina and David becomes undeniable, everyone’s lives are thrown into upheaval, particularly Vanessa Walling’s (Alia Shawkat), Nina’s childhood best friend.  It’s not long before the ramifications of the affair begin to work on all of the family members in unexpected and hilarious ways, leading everyone to reawaken to their lives, reassess what it means to be happy, and realize that sometimes what looks like a disaster turns out to be the thing we need.

Usher Says The World ‘Deserves’ An Usher/Adele Collaboration

‘Unfortunately, she’s the closest to breaking my record for the last 10 years,’ singer says of Adele catching up with his chart record. By Jocelyn Vena Usher and Adele Photo: Getty Images Usher has a confession to make. He really loves Adele , even if she’s threatening his position as an album sales record holder. “If I have to confess, I have to confess that I have told a few people not to go and buy Adele’s album because I don’t want her to go and break my record,” he joked to Capital FM in the U.K. The 21 singer’s record-setting album has come close to beating the record held by his own album Confessions for most albums sold in one year . “No, actually, I love her. Unfortunately, she’s the closest to breaking my record for the last 10 years. So now, guys, don’t go and buy that album right now.” But if he can’t beat her, he’ll join her. He hinted in the same interview that he would love the chance to collaborate with the broken-hearted songstress. “I think the world deserves an Usher and Adele record ,” he said. “That’s what I think.” Well, Usher will get his chance to prove his chart dominance once again when he drops his new album later this year. He’s currently out promoting its lead single, the sexy, sultry, Diplo-produced “Climax.” The singer released a video for the track earlier this month. The sexy clip follows two lovers engaged in a hot, steamy love affair. Usher wrestles with the ramifications of their relationship, pondering it all in his car, with a gun not far away. Leading to the video’s climax, Usher watches his lady with her other man, then runs in the house, fires off his gun and runs away. Viewers are left wondering if it was nothing more than a daydream as the video ends with the singer once again sitting in his car, still reflecting, as he pulls away from the supposed crime scene. Skyzoo Wants A Shot At Rap’s Great Lyrical Debate

‘The tape itself is something that people are gonna talk about,’ Skyzoo tells Mixtape Daily about The Great Debater. By Rob Markman Skyzoo Photo: Duck Down Main Pick Street King : Skyzoo Holding It Down For : Brooklyn, NY Mixtape : The Great Debater Real Spit : Back when Hov posed the question in his 1997 song “Where I’m From,” people would argue about who was the best MC. Biggie, Jay-Z and Nas were popular G.O.A.T candidates, but after the ’90s era of New York lyricism began to fade, the debate turned to: “Who sells the most records or has the most money?” With his latest mixtape, The Great Debater, Brooklyn rapper Skyzoo looks to re-shift the focus. “The concept, the theme for the whole project is really just taking the idea of what people already think about me as far as being a lyricist, a rapper’s rapper. And The Great Debater just carries on that tradition,” Sky told Mixtape Daily. “The tape itself is something that people are gonna talk about, go back and forth about, as far as where it puts me in the echelon of MCs and lyricists and where people already place me and where I’m already at with it.” For Sky to assume that his tape will put him in the conversation with some of rap’s elite may come off as pretentious to those who aren’t familiar with his catalog, but one listen to The Great Debater should curb doubts. The tightly packed bars of “Complicated Rhythm” exemplify S-K’s mission as he parallels his rise to the likes of NBA great LeBron James and Jay-Z. He starts off, “They give me the same flack they gave Gloria’s son/ Either or: James or Carter, but both of them won.” On “The Definitive Prayer,” he continues to weave intricate rhyme schemes as he brags that his “serenades warrant hearing aids.” The tape’s production is key, too, focusing more on boom-bap than club-driven tracks thanks to beats from 9th Wonder, Illmind and Best Kept Secret. Overall, the Brooklyn rapper’s offering challenges the listener, who will no doubt have to listen several times in order to breakdown the MC’s lyrical layers. But no matter which side of the Skyzoo great debate you end up on, it’s an interesting conversation. Joints to Check For

Juelz Santana To Appear On ‘RapFix Live’ Wednesday

After missing the Diplomats’ ‘RapFix’ visit due to legal drama, Juelz will sit down with Sway on Wednesday at 4 p.m. on MTV.com. By Alvin Blanco Juelz Santana Photo: John Ricard/FilmMagic Harlem is coming to MTV News this Wednesday, when Juelz Santana visits “RapFix Live.” The flashy member of the reunited Diplomats was AWOL when Cam’ron, Jim Jones and Frekey Zekey sat down with Sway Calloway back in January, but Juelz will get a chance to discuss what he and the Dipset have cooking on the “RapFix” couch. Juelz has been laying relatively low lately but will have plenty to discuss. In February, the “Mic Check” rapper was arrested on marijuana and weapons charges stemming from a raid of his New Jersey studios by authorities. Dealing with the ramifications of those legal entanglements — rapper Hynief, a member of Juelz’s Skull Gang crew, was also arrested — is one of the reasons Juelz wasn’t present when the Diplomats were on “RapFix Live.” With his legal troubles in the rearview, Juelz will also be discussing his forthcoming new album, Born to Lose, Built to Win. The Diplomats also have a new project on the way, which will be released via Interscope Records , according to various members. MTV News will be sure to ask for updates on the status of I Can’t Feel My Face, Juelz’s long-in-the-works collaborative album with Lil Wayne, and his status with Def Jam Records. You can also expect Juelz, who last weekend hit Hot 97’s Summer Jam stage with Lloyd Banks and with the Diplomats , to a spit a hot 16 before concluding his visit. Joaquin Phoenix: I’m Still Here!

Joaquin Phoenix has gone off the rails of late. Well, it actually started about a year and a half ago. The acclaimed actor announced he was quitting that profession, became a rapper, dressed like a homeless person, spaced out on Letterman and had to be escorted out of his own concert . As it turns out, this was all part of Casey Affleck’s directorial brilliance, documenting Phoenix’s transition from well-respected actor to an unproven rap talent for his new movie. Follow this link to check out the I’m Still Here trailer . Joaquin Phoenix, actor (left), and Joaquin Phoenix, caveman rapper. The official synopsis describes I’m Still Here as “a striking portrayal of a tumultuous year in the life of internationally acclaimed actor Joaquin Phoenix.” “Sometimes funny, sometimes shocking, and always riveting, the film is a portrait of an artist at a crossroads. Defying expectations, it deftly explores notions of courage and creative reinvention, as well as the ramifications of life in the public eye.” Deft and riveting? We’ll see about that. But it’s definitely worth a look.
