Actress tried bolting from the police after violating midnight curfew. By Sterling Wong Ashley Fink Photo: MTV News “Glee” breakout star Ashley Fink will be the first to tell you she’s not the most rebellious person in the world. So how did she end up running from the cops? Ashley reveals all in this week’s episode of “When I Was 17.” No, Ashley did not commit any felony — but she did break a curfew. “My mum was pretty strict, and so only going out with my oldest sister was allowed,” she explains on the latest episode, which premieres Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV. “And so we’d go to City Walk to see movies on weekends.” According to Ashley’s sister, Stephanie, the City Walk entertainment complex had a curfew, and if someone underage was out after that time, the police would begin handing out citations. “So we went out, and we saw some horror movie,” Ashley recalls. “And we got out at like 12:03 a.m., and I remember seeing the curfew police and being like, ‘No!!!’ “So I literally took off. I bolted. If I had just walked out of the theater and been cool and walked to the car, then nothing would’ve happened. But of course, I was like, ‘Ah! I’m breaking the law!’ and bolted down City Walk. So [the police] came after me and I was literally cornered. It was ridiculous!” According to Ashley’s friend Brandon, “Ashley was probably the most timid person when it came to breaking the rules,” so imagine her fear when she was caught by the curfew police. “They were like, ‘What’s your name?’ And I was like, ‘Ashley.’ And then, ‘What’s your last name?’ and I was like, ‘Green?’ I was like, ‘Think of a color!’ recalls Ashley, who demonstrated some impressive lying skills there. Fortunately for the actress, her sister Stephanie swooped in to save the day, apologizing to the police, and saying that it was Ashley’s birthday, and so the police let her go. “I felt so guilty. But then again, I was so hardcore! I ran from the police on City Walk. Crazy!” “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Jeremih, Shay Mitchell and Ashley Fink — airs on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET/PT on MTV. Dark, synthy track premiered on London radio station on Friday. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: Bruce Glikas/FilmMagic When you’re Lady Gaga , scheduled premiere dates mean absolutely nothing. Her next single, “Judas,” was originally slated to drop April 19, but Capital FM in London played the song days earlier, during the radio station’s “Home Run” program on Friday afternoon (April 15). The RedOne-produced track finds Gaga in familiar territory, singing about a lover she knows might not be right for her, but whom she just can’t resist. “Ohhh, I’m in love with Judas,” she opens on the track, accompanied by building synths. Soon a thumping electronic beat kicks in as Gaga sings, “Judahhh/ Juda-a-ah/ Gaga.” The battle cry is reminiscent of the one in “Bad Romance.” Gaga’s vocals are partially spoken, and at times she seems to have a Caribbean accent. She laments, “When he comes to me I am ready/ I’ll wash his feet with my hair if he needs/ Forgive him when his tongue lies through his brain/ Even after three times, he betrays me/ I’ll bring him down, I came with no crown.” The tone lightens up a bit more on the song’s chorus, which throws back to ’80s pop in melody, as the beat picks up a bit and Gaga sings, “I’m just a holy fool/ Oh, baby, he’s so cruel/ But I’m still in love with Judas, baby.” After the second verse and chorus, the song breaks down into a churning house song as Gaga chants in much the same way she does in the middle of “Born This Way.” Then she sings, “I wanna love you/ But something’s pulling me away from you/ Jesus is my virtue, Judas is the demon I cling to, I cling to.” A day before she decided to release the track early, Gaga tweeted this message for her fans: “#PawsUpForJudas! I’ve learned love is like a brick, you can build a house or sink a dead body.” The song is Born This Way ‘s second single, following the phenomenal success of “Born This Way.” The album hits stores on May 23, and the video for “Judas,” directed by Gaga and her creative director Laurieann Gibson, is expected to premiere in the coming weeks. “Let the cultural baptism begin,” Gaga said of the track in a Gagavision video earlier this month. “If they were not who you were taught they would be, would you still believe?” What do you think of Lady Gaga’s “Judas”? ‘It’s a phenomenal video: really powerful, really impactful,’ creative director tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Vanessa WhiteWolf Lady Gaga Photo: Tom Briglia/ WireImage Lady Gaga is ready to tell her version of the Bible in her “Judas” video , which recently wrapped production in L.A. MTV News caught up with the video’s co-director and Gaga’s creative director, Laurieann Gibson, to talk about the clip as well as her new E! show “The Dance Scene,” debuting Sunday. “I will tell you now, first off, I’m Christian, and my career is evidence of God in my life, and I think that most people are already thinking that Gaga and the blasphemy and they’re premeditating the approach and I think they’ll be very shocked to find out how huge and really groundbreaking the message is and how freeing the message is for all the right reasons,” she said. “And it’s really going to shock the world.” The cast includes some big-name cameos as well, including Norman Reedus as Judas. “He was so prolific,” she declared of his performance, adding that the video is “badass” and that Gaga will play Mary Magdalene. The two ladies took it upon themselves to make sure the video’s direction was perfect — so they just decided to direct it themselves. “There was elements of ‘Born This Way’ during our collaboration [with director Nick Knight] and, as much as I loved it, there were moments where, for me, it didn’t really evolve as I had inspired of the actual creative, which was defined. “But when we got to ‘Judas,’ it was very clear to me and the inspiration was very clear to her. We approached a director, but then the dates actually got messed up and it was conflicted and her manager and her looked at me [and asked me to direct it with her].” Gibson said she took a moment before agreeing, as she had just wrapped up work on Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball HBO special , premiering in May, but she “couldn’t resist. It’s a phenomenal video: really powerful, really impactful. She’s such a strong, committed artist. Her loyalty to me is something I will be forever grateful for. We’re spiritually connected. We need each other, and ‘Judas’ is ultimately a representation of our true bond.” What are you expecting from the “Judas” video? Let us know in the comments! RedOne, Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow already confirmed for Born This Way . By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage Lady Gaga might have recently tweeted that she’s basically wrapped up production on her May album, Born This Way , but the singer shared that there’s still work to do on her piano ballad “You and I,” which it seems has made the final cut. “I can’t tell you who yet, but someone legendary is producing this next song,” Gaga told the crowd at her tour stop in Anaheim, California, on Thursday night, an eyewitness confirms to MTV News. “I’m so excited.” The singer added that she “can’t wait” for fans to hear the May 23 release. Whoever the person is she hooks up with, they will be joining previously announced producers RedOne , Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow , who all have contributed tracks to the highly anticipated release. With the album’s first single, “Born This Way,” still burning up the charts, fans have been hungry to know more about the album’s next single, “Judas.” With some lyrics already floating around the Internet, it’s only a matter of time before Gaga and her creative director, Laurieanne Gibson, get to work on the video for the track. “It’s no surprise, I’m sure, to many of you, that Judas is a man of the biblical senses, so expect to see some symbolism in this video,” Gaga explained. “You have to look into what is haunting you, and you need to look into forgiving yourself in order to move on. And it’s really fun to dance to and sounds like it could be a pop priest record.” Tell us your guesses who the “legendary” producer of “You and I” will be in the comments below! The alleged words to Gaga’s second Born This Way single find Mother Monster playing with themes of religion and love. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: Tom Briglia/ WireImage Recently, “Born This Way” producer Fernando Garibay called Lady Gaga’s next single off her upcoming album of the same name, “Judas,” “great because it’s a serious message [and] it’s a little playful.” Well, judging by the reported lyrics that hit the Internet, the RedOne-produced track is Gaga spilling her heart out with just enough dark humor in it to keep her Little Monsters playing it over and over again. “Dear Judas/ My beloved you belong to me/ No more backstabbing please/ Your blood colored beads/ Jealousy, envy, insanity,” the opening lyrics proclaim, playing on the biblical tale of Judas — the apostle of Jesus who infamously later betrayed him — while possibly referring to a romance gone bad. On the chorus, Gaga allegedly sings, “When he comes to me, I am ready/ I’ll wash his feet with my hair if he needs/ Forgive him when his tongue lies through his brain/ Even after three times he betrays me/ I’ll bring him down, a king with no crown/ Judas, look what have you done/ My heart bleeds and you think it’s fun?” The second verse continues to play with the ideas of love and the mythology of Judas. “Second verse, same as the first/ Your bible won’t save you now/ From the glares of the everlasting light, remember those hot nights where you lied and lied on my bed/ Stabbed me in the back,” Gaga supposedly sings. “Let my blood trickle on your rose thorns/ But he came and whispered in my ear and left me torn/ ‘Cause I’m just a holy fool/ Oh baby, he’s so cruel, but I’m still in love with Judas, baby.” Gaga will direct the video for “Judas” with her creative director, Laurieann Gibson, who has made it clear that the clip will certainly be over-the-top. “And ‘Judas’ is exciting for me because we had this amazing artistic approach to ‘Born This Way’ and I’m so excited for how riveting, energetic and electric the record is, something really phenomenal,” Gibson recently told MTV News. “So, visually, the dance, the costuming, the idea of how big we’re trying to go, [it’s] going to be a roller-coaster ride. “What is a traditional music video?” she added. “Even if we go with a traditional music video, the directors that we love are not traditional, so the idea that they get to collaborate with us means they too want to live outside of what people expect a traditional music video to be.” What do you think of the reported lyrics to “Judas”? After finding success with The Wrestler over the 2008 holiday movie season, Darren Aranofsky is wowing critics again this Christmas with another melodrama about athletes whose difficult and dangerous physical feats have shattered their bodies and lives. Black Swan , a creepy melodrama starring Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis as rival ballerinas and sometime Sapphic scissor sisters, has been garnering rave reviews despite its limited release and even more limited nudity (i.e. none). The skingy stars of Black Swan may have ruffled Mr. Skin’s feathers by refusing to show T&A during their beaverly awaited girl-girl face-pirouette scene but if you love lesbians, you can still jackoffsky to some Tchaikovsky with this movie. An hour and eight minutes in, the ballerina babes take the fast boat to Lesbos when they start making out in Natalie’s room. We don’t see any pubes, but things get hot and heavy with Mila makes a swan dive into Natalie’s crotch. Talk about a face dance! So if you’re a fan of A-list lesbian scenes, then go check out the ballerina-on-ballerina flick Black Swan . It won’t be your shoes that are pointe-ing!
