Lindsay Lohan Sparks Legal War

Lindsay Lohan went on to plead no contest to the charge, which was knocked down to a misdemeanor. She was placed on probation and house arrest. Apparently the photo of Lindsay Lohan having her chest clutched by Spencer Falls isn#39;t the most controversial image of the actress this weekend. The owners of the jewelry store where Lohan stole that necklace are at war with a guy who was trying to hawk the surveillance tape of it. A lawsuit appears imminent, according to TMZ. Nic Cage: Argumentative, WASTED at Tattoo Parlor Prior to Arrest

Surveillance video taken inside a tattoo shop just before Nicolas Cage was arrested this weekend shows the actor drinking and arguing with his wife and others. Cage is clearly shown carrying some sort of drink as he stumbles around, fretting to employees about not recalling where he lived and getting testy with wife Alice. Nic began throwing his clothes around, demanding to get inked up. Intoxicated, he then asked employees to call the cops … ’cause he didn’t know where he lived. Police report that this was the topic he and Alice were arguing over – the address where they’re living while he films Medallion – when he allegedly grabbed her. In the surveillance tape, Cage, holding a clear plastic cup, can be seen with his arms around two friends as he enters. Nic walked out and back in and out again. At that point, he can be seen arguing with his wife and friends. His wife can be seen motioning to herself throughout, as if to say, “Listen to me” or “Come with me.” Eventually, Nic acquiesced and left the shop … only to later be arrested on charges of domestic violence and disturbing the peace, having taunted police to bust him. He was released on $11,000 bail after Duane “Dog” Chapman posted bond for him, which is easily the most random and hilarious part of an already classic story. [Photo: WENN.com]

Brooke Mueller: Spotted at Pawn Shop, Possibly Missing, Definitely Off the Rails

Charlie Sheen has gone off the rails, but Brooke Mueller is giving him a run for his money and then some. This new story about the ex-Mrs. Sheen is amazing. According to TMZ, Brooke walked into a pawn shop in Inglewood, Calif., yesterday morning, trying to hock an expensive men’s watch and a stereo. Real normal. An employee at the shop, Jack Feldman, says Brooke desperately wanted cash for the items, but the store did not oblige because she lacked a valid ID. Brooke Mueller at the Pawn Shop In the surveillance footage from the store, Brooke Mueller nervously and anxiously paces around the store while the employees check out the items. She certainly shouldn’t need cash – she’s getting $55,000 a month in child support ON TOP of the multi-million dollar divorce settlement from Charlie. Brooke’s mom is taking care of their twins. Thank goodness. Mueller has not been reached for comment, but her mom, Moira Fiore claims there’s an explanation for Brooke’s bizarre behavior in the pawn shop. Her daughter was probably selling off some stuff for a friend …. AS A FAVOR, Moira says. Likely story. Brooke’s friends say that’s BS – and she’s MIA! Seriously, no one knows where she is and her phone is off . Brooke’s mom is adamant that she knows where Brooke is, though when asked about Brooke’s drug use, she “didn’t know anything.” Stay tuned … UPDATE : Mueller has hours to resurface. She is scheduled to take a mandatory drug test at 6 p.m., and her child custody hangs in the balance. Charlie Sheen and Brooke each agreed to take random drug tests as a part of the custody settlement they hammered out earlier this year. If Brooke doesn’t show, the test will be considered failed by default. Several of Brooke’s friends fear she’s fallen off the wagon and she’s completely disappeared. We can only hope she’s alright and gets help.

Brad Womack on The Bachelor Season Finale: Real Tough Call!

Chantal O’Brien. Emily Maynard. The Bachelor star Brad Womack says both “would make incredible wives, incredible mates” and that he labored over who to give his final rose to. “Both had qualities I was looking for,” he said during a taping for the Women Tell All special tomorrow night, with the season finale set for March 14. Chantal O’Brien is “up for everything, fun … we hit it off early. There was immediate physical chemistry. But we had a lot of highs and lows.” “When she gets so upset, like she did in Anguilla, it makes me wonder if we could find that rhythm and make it work for the rest of our lives.” As for Emily Maynard ? Brad calls her “an incredible mother – [a] really sweet and a caring, sensitive woman that is also quite easy on the eyes.” “She went through a tough situation with the plane crash and becoming a single mom. But she rose to the occasion beautifully. I admire that.” “She makes me a better person when I am around her.” So who’s it going to be? The Bachelor spoilers have indicated a finale with these two for months, but the winner has long been in dispute. One thing’s for sure – Brad is not dwelling on either’s past. “I chalked up Emily and Chantal’s situations [to] the past,” he says. “I have one, too. If anyone has baggage that should be of concern, it’s me.” “That isn’t to say that Emily’s past didn’t give me pause,” says Brad of her situation. “It’s intimidating to think about becoming a part of her life.” “She lost a love in a tragic event while pregnant. That changes a person.” Still, Womack says, he’s ready to make a firm commitment to whomever he picked – and he’s deeply in love with the woman who got the rose. “I was here to settle down, find a wife and get started on making a family,” he says. “I’m ready for that so, hell, if we can do it right away, great.” Who do you think should win The Bachelor?

Jewelry Store Cashes in On Surveillance Tape, Possibly Blows Case Against Lindsay Lohan

The store allegedly victimized in the great Lindsay Lohan jewelry store heist may have just blown its credibility and the prosecutors’ case against LiLo. Kamofie & Co. sold the surveillance tape – which Lindsay says backs up her excuse that this was a misunderstanding – to an unknown media outlet. This is causing fits for the lawyers in the case, particularly the prosecutor. NO CREDIBILITY : Both sides may suffer from that problem . Lindsay’s defense is that the necklace was a loan. The jeweler begged to differ. Law enforcement arrested and charged Lohan with felony grand theft. It boils down to the troubled star’s intent, and her credibility will be called into question. After the sale of the surveillance footage, so will Kamofle’s. Convincing a jury that a celebrity misled and victimized you may be a tough sell after they opted to cash in on the notoriety by hawking the footage. No word on how this will affect plea bargain negotiations. While her lawyer tries to work a light sentence, Lindsay refuses to do time , but faces an uncertain fate given her longstanding probation. Stay tuned.
