So it stands to reason that T.O. would make a case for the Patriots giving him another chance at NFL redemption. “Obviously the situation with the Patriots, they are starting out with a lot of new guys,” Owens told the Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn. “You never know how management is thinking, what their process is as far as bringing in veterans. “I understand they may look at my age as an issue but I’m not your average 39-year-old. I think if you watch me work out, I’m not really concerned about injuries or anything like that. Plus, I’ll be getting paid the vet minimum, so it’s not like I am asking for any extra incentive in my contract.” Owens is right: Compared to other 39-year-olds, he’s a freak of nature. But that still doesn’t translate in a league where the average career is less than five years. In 2012, T.O. lasted just 20 days in Seahawks’ training camp, a stint that included more preseason drops (3) than receptions (2). It was further proof that his best days are receding in the rearview. Owens, meanwhile, thinks it has more to do with his off-field issues than his lack of on-field productivity. “I think it’s the reputation of the things I’ve done in the past,” he said. “People won’t let my mistakes die. It’s just puzzling for me. This guy can’t just can’t win … Police Called On Terrell Owens For Stalking Woman Via TMZ reports: Terrell Owens was confronted by the LAPD around 4:30 AM Friday morning … after cops got a call that he’d been banging on a woman’s door for roughly 3 hours and refused to leave … TMZ has learned. Owens was NOT arrested … but according to law enforcement sources, the woman who lives in the home says she couldn’t get the guy to go away after she made it clear he wasn’t welcome. When cops arrived to the scene, the woman told police she was not afraid for her safety … she just wanted him off the property ASAP. Cops passed the message along to the ex-NFL star … who obliged … and just like that, the crisis was over. We reached out to T.O. for comment — so far, no word back. They want their dayum money back! Can you blame them though?? According to TMZ , Katt didn’t leave folks too entertained after his meltdown during his show in Oakland. Williams and promoter Live Nation are on the receiving end of a class action lawsuit filed by Brian Herline on behalf of everyone who went to see the comedian “perform” on November 16. According to the lawsuit — filed on the day before Thanksgiving in Alameda County, CA — Katt’s show ended after just 10 minutes … but not before he “confronted a heckler, took his clothes off, and attempted to fight at least three audience members.” The suit is seeking unspecified damages for “Katt Williams’ non-performance.” Williams has been stringing together one bizarre appearance after another as of late and was actually arrested in Oakland just two days before the show in question.
