Kim Kardashain Gives Detailed Account Of Paris Attack — Says She Feared She Was About To Be Raped

Kim Kardashian Gives Personal Account Of Paris Attack Kim Kardashian is back home in the states with her husband Kanye, and safe and unharmed after the terrifying robbery that she suffered through last night in Paris. Now that the dust has settled, Kim is giving her own account of what happened that sent Kanye running off the stage in NY straight to her side in France last night. TMZ caught up with Kim’s inner circle to get a rundown of what occurred from Kim’s POV that night. The details are pretty frightening: Our sources say … Kim was lying in bed with only her robe on when she heard boots pounding up the stairs of her 2 story apartment. We’re told Kim saw at least one masked man and another wearing a police hat through a sliding glass door. She knew something was amiss, so she rolled off the bed and tried dialing her bodyguard on her cell phone. Before she could finish dialing one of the men yanked the phone out of her hands. They zip tied her hands with plastic handcuffs and duct taped her to make it more secure. We’re told one of the men grabbed her by the ankles … Kim told cops at that point she believed she was about to be raped. The robbers duct taped her ankles, picked her up and put her in the bathtub. She then started screaming … begging them not to kill her because she had babies. She went on to say she had money and they could take whatever they wanted. SMH!! Thankfully these crooks only wanted the loot and didn’t have inclinations to hurt or abuse her. Kim told cops the robbers did not know English and only spoke French. The only thing she understood … the men kept saying, “ring, ring.” Kim knew what they were after — the new ring she got from Kanye. She told them where it was in the apartment, but that was not the end. Kim continued to beg and cry, and at that point the robbers duct taped her mouth shut. We’re told a friend of Kim’s — Simone — was also in the apartment … sleeping in the downstairs bedroom. Simone heard the commotion and locked herself in the bathroom and called Pascal, the bodyguard, and Kourtney … telling them to hurry back because something was terribly wrong. Pascal got back to the apartment 2 minutes after the robbers left. The entire incident took around 6 minutes. Damn. Whatever you think about Kim, her life, her clothes, her show, etc…NO ONE deserves anything like this to happen to them. Gladly no one was hurt during the incident. Splash/WENN/AKM-GSI

5 Things We’ve Learned from New Years Celebrations in Movies

I’m going to assume none of us learned anything from Garry Marshall’s New Year’s Eve other than, ” I was right to avoid New Year’s Eve .” Fortunately, there are real lessons to be gleaned from the best in New Year’s cinema, and we’ve lined up five movies with tips for your bash this weekend. Whether you’re ringing it in alone or spending it with the grimmest Vietnam vet on Earth, you’ll learn something valuable here. The Gold Rush : If you’re alone, you can envision a party that’s better than a real one. Charlie Chaplin’s iconic fork-and-roll dance from The Gold Rush is a fantasy sequence where the Little Tramp entertains guests who never show up to his place. Though the flatware choreography is cute, it’s hard not to look in Chaplin’s striking eyes during the entire sequence. But what a fabulous (and fictional) fete! The Apartment : Don’t pop a wine cork when your lady friend can mistake it for a gunshot. The Apartment is a treasure, but it’s also dour enough to put a damper on your New Year’s. Let’s revisit its best moment of pure levity and watch when Fran Kubelik (Shirley MacLaine) ditches her party, realizes that C.C. Baxter (Jack Lemmon) risked his job for her, and arrives at his apartment to deliver a few classic lines of dialogue — namely, before a rummy game, “Shut up and deal.” C.C.’s cork-popping could be better timed, though — as Fran rushes to his door, she receives a ghastly fright. The Godfather, Part II : Don’t reveal that you’re a traitor during festivities. Fredo Corleone (the late, great John Cazale) receives a grim kiss from his brother Michael (Al Pacino) upon revealing that he’s the traitor that Michael suspects he is. This leads to a classic line, “I know it was you, Fredo — you broke my heart,” which also served as the inspiration for the John Cazale documentary I Knew It Was You . Oh, New Years. What a perfectly inopportune time to expose your true character. Forrest Gump : Do not party with your bitter commanding officer from Vietnam. If we were focusing on Jenny’s New Year’s festivities in Forrest Gump , this tip might be titled, “Don’t kill yourself!” But we’re looking at Forrest (Tom Hanks) now, just as he exchanges glances with the resentful, abrasive Lt. Dan (Gary Sinise). It seems obvious, but please try not to ring in a new year with a disrespectful, not to mention emotionally battered comrade. Sex and the City : Find your most sensible, downtrodden friend and hole up with her in a glamorous apartment. I’m always a little baffled by the vitriol spewed at the first Sex and the City movie, which was truly no different — or better or worse — than the TV show. Here, in the movie’s most poignant scene, we watch as Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) sneak over to Miranda’s (Cynthia Nixon) place for a warm New Year’s. That sweeping, Celtic rendition of “Auld Lang Syne” helps too. Got other favorite New Year’s movie lessons? Drop ’em in the comments below! Follow Louis Virtel on Twitter . Lionsgate Wants Gary Ross, Slumdog Writer for Hunger Games Sequel Catching Fire

The jury’s still out as far as I’m concerned on whether or not director Gary Ross ( Seabiscuit ) was the right director to helm Suzanne Collins ‘s The Hunger Games , even with the mostly-satisfying first trailer debut earlier this week. Lionsgate, however, seems more confident in Ross, as they want him to return to helm the second Hunger Games installment, 2013’s Catching Fire , with writer Simon Beaufoy ( Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours ) reportedly in the running to script.

Weston Cage, Nikki Williams Both Arrested After Domestic Disturbance

It’s been quite a summer for Nicolas Cage’s son Weston. He and his wife, Nikki Williams, were both booked on felony domestic assault charges yesterday after she allegedly went after him with a bottle. This took place mere days after both got out of rehab. Cage and Williams were taken to the police station for questioning after Nikki went absolutely out of control on Weston inside their apartment. There was blood everywhere in the apartment and the place was trashed, sources report , although it is unclear what prompted the melee.

Courteney Cox Wants Friends Movie

Sex and the City 2 just keeps on wreaking havoc, doesn’t it? Now it’s prompted a jealous Courteney Cox to resurrect her own bigscreen transfer. “I wish we could do that with Friends ,” Cox told the LAT . “The thing is, the characters from Sex and the City hopped all over Manhattan. On Friends , we were always stuck in the apartment and that coffeehouse.” Then again, Sex 2 wasn’t afraid to shake up its surroundings with a relocation to Abu Dhabi. Imagine the potential of ladies shedding their burqas to reveal their very own “Rachel” haircuts to an appreciative Jennifer Aniston! [ LAT ]
