After a recent stint in jail due to a parole violation, SB has reportedly quit drugs, including lean, and has gained a healthy 50 pounds. Reports TMZ : Soulja’s manager, Miami Mike, tells TMZ … the rapper started packing on the pounds after his last arrest, which led to him doing about 3 months in L.A. County Jail earlier this year. Mike says Soulja was only 130 lbs. when he started his sentence, but since then he’s quit drinking and doing drugs of any kind. Most significantly, we’re told he’s cut out lean. We’re told sippin’ on lean almost constantly killed Soulja’s appetite, but now he has a steady and healthy appetite … and he’s able to work out much more. On top of the health benefits, Soulja’s manager says his lifestyle changes have helped the rapper’s bank account … because he used to spend an average of $500 to $800 per day on lean. Source: AAron Ontiveroz / Getty Referee Suspended For 2 Years After Making Student Cut His Locs Before Match After making 16-year-old high school wrestler Andrew Johnson cut his locs in order to compete in his next match, referee Alan Maloney has been suspended for two years. According to reports from USA Today , the announcement was made on Wednesday following a lengthy investigation into the incident that went down on December 19. During a Buena-Oakcrest meet, Maloney forced Johnson to either wear a hair cover, cut his hair, or forfeit his match. According to The Undefeated , the referee told Johnson that his hair was “unnatural,” and the ref only gave him 90 seconds to trim his locs down. A video showing Drew’s hair being cut went viral, and obviously, people were incredibly angry to see what the young man had to go through. Johnson chose the haircut, then won by sudden victory in OT to help spark Buena to a win. pic.twitter.com/f6JidKNKoI — Mike Frankel (@MikeFrankelJSZ) December 20, 2018 The Division on Civil Rights worked with the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association to come up with a suitable punishment for Maloney, and has now implemented a revised “Guidance on Race Discrimination Based on Hairstyle.” The new policy indicates that guidelines which previously banned, limitedm or restricted hairstyles closely associated with those of African-American descent are now in violation of New Jersey law. “Student athletes should be able to compete with each other on a level playing field,” New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said in a statement. “Racial discrimination in the enforcement of the rules of any sport is inconsistent with the spirit of fair play.” On top of punishment for the referee who so ignorantly asked the student to cut his dreadlocks, Maloney’s suspension created a tidal wave across the NJSIAA with all referees, coaches, and athletic administrators required to undergo implicit bias training. Wrestling officials will also need to undergo hair discrimination training with a focus specifically on Rule 4.2.1, which addresses concerns over hair length, and not on hairstyle. It’s about time this racist ref gets served with a proper punishment for what he made Andrew Johnson go through.

These people include Tay Anderson, running for the Denver School Board, and who has been blasting this photo wherever he can to grandstand his out-of-town platform against racial prejudice. I believe this campaign may be responsible for threatening my employer, a national retailer, to terminate me, which has been done, now depriving me of income and placing a stigma on future employment and advanced education.” Tay Anderson is an activist who is running for Denver School Board At-Large. The photo was sent to him by Black students at CSU. He reacted to her horrific statement on Twitter with, “How are you going to blame me for your actions? President Joyce McConnell is arguing the students did not violate any school policies and the photo is protected by the First Amendment. The singer wrote approximately 1,000 words on such topics as: His past drug use. How he struggled with such massive wealth and fame at a young age. What it was like to grow up with two young parents. How his marriage to Hailey Baldwin has basically saved his life. Began Bieber in this emotional post: It’s hard to get out of bed in the morning with the right attitude when you are overwhelmed with your life your past, job, responsibilities, emotions, your family, finances, your relationships. When it feels like there’s trouble after trouble after trouble. You start foreseeing the day through lenses of ‘dread’ and anticipate another bad day. A cycle of feeling disappointment after disappointment. Sometimes it can even get to the point where you don’t even want to live anymore. This is heavy stuff, folks. On Thursday afternoon, Dale Earnhardt Jr, — the beloved NASCAR driver and auto racing analyst — and his wife were involved in a private jet crash in east Tennessee, thankfully managing to escape serious injury. According to Elizabethton Fire Chief Barry Carrier, via CNN affiliate WJHL, Earnhardt and his wife, Amy, were on a small jet that crashed at Elizabethton Municipal Airport around 3:38 p.m. EST. In the footage posted featured on this page, you can see the plane go up in a whirl of smoke shortly after landing. Multiple outlets have confirmed that the vehicle skidded off the runway immediately upon touching down. An investigation is currently underway and the National Transportation Safety Board is expected to determine a cause of the crash, but we can at least report that the popular athlete is doing just fine. “Everyone is safe and has been taken to the hospital for further evaluation,” Tweeted Dale's sister, Kelly, shortly after news of accident went viral. She added: “We have no further information at this time. Thank you for your understanding,” The Federal Aviation Administration has confirmed that two pilots and three passengers were aboard the aircraft. (UPDATE: We can now report that the couple's one-year old daughter, Isla, was also on the plane. She was the third passenger.) The fire that resulted from the crash burned for about 20 minutes before authorities arrived on the scene and put it out. In 2017, the 44-year old Earnhardt was voted as NASCAR's most popular driver for the 15th straight year. Yes, 15th straight year. Fans adore this guy. The son of the late racing icon Dale Earnhardt, he now works as a NASCAR analyst for NBC. Said A network spokesperson: “We are aware of the media reports and have been in contact with Dale's team. We'll have no further comment until we have more details.” As of this writing, Dale, his daughter and his wife have been discharged from the hospital and are expected to make a full recovery. Dale Earnhardt Sr., for whatever it is worth died at age 49 of injuries sustained in a race car crash during the 2001 Daytona 500.
