Even if you’ve never been there, you probably have a friend who has: Sometimes a relationship starts too fast in the beginning, and falls apart just as quickly, but while everyone on the outside can see that it just wasn’t meant to be, neither of the parties involved can let it go. That’s the situation that Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton find themselves in, and sadly, it seems they’re not yet willing to give on their lifeless corpse of a relationship. The first hint that Murray and Stanton are back together came last month, when the couple was spotted out and about together in LA. Shortly thereafter, Murray seemed to confirm the reconciliation with a series of cryptic tweets about the joys of staying in an unhealthy relationship. “Crazies stick with crazies #breakovermorepackingtodo,” Murray tweeted at one point. In case you missed it, Murray and Stanton got engaged after hitting it off on The Bachelor in Paradise, ABC’s social experiment designed to determine if couples are more likely to get married if they meet in a hot climate while drunk on Mai Tais. To the surprise of literally no one (probably including the couple themselves) Josh and Amanda broke up shortly thereafter. Now, however, Josh says he and Amanda are serious about patching things up” “I wouldn’t say we’re back together, but we’re working on things right now,” he said on The Domenik Nati Show. “There’s a lot of things that happened, there were a lot of struggles… For me, I know when I’m in a relationship I want to be with somebody who’s my best friend, who I can trust, who I can be with all the time. We have to get to that point for anything to work out.” He added: “After the show, it was very difficult, just how everything was shown and portrayed. “We had a great time, we fell in love, we thought everything was great, and then it was tough during the season.” “So we kind of had to fight an uphill battle for a little while, and it wasn’t an easy thing to do. But right now, we saw each other about a week ago back in Los Angeles, and there’s a lot of things we need to talk about.” But don’t thinking that Josh is open to the idea of reconciling with any of his other exes. Asked if he would consider giving his relationship with Andi Dorfman another chance, Stanton was firm in his response: “Absolutely not,” there’s no chance,” he replied. “I really could care less about even talking to her again. He added: “When I ended that relationship a while ago, that was the last time I spoke with her and I don’t intend to do that again.” It’s good that Josh knows his limits. Oh, Lindsay Lohan … poor ol' girl has been through a lot, hasn't she? Genetics dealt her a seemingly impossible hand when they gave her Michael and Dina Lohan for parents, and then life just kept on beating her down from there. She battled addiction, she struggled so much with obeying the law (because of the addiction, we're assuming), and, most recently, she was engaged to an allegedly abusive monster . And, lest we forget, she also nearly lost a finger recently . And on top of all that, no one seems to want to let Lindsay be great. Sure, she's had her moments of unnecessary awfulness — for instance, that time that she weirdly told Ariana Grande that she was wearing too much makeup , oh, and all those bizarre meltdowns she has — but who hasn't? The point is that she's trying, and there's no harm in letting her do that. Specifically, there's no harm in letting her try to do a sequel to Mean Girls. In this new interview with CNN, Lindsay reveals that she's desperate to do Mean Girls 2. Perhaps as desperate as we'd be to see Mean Girls 2! She says that she's so serious about it that she's already written a treatment, and she knows that the original crew is very busy, but that she'll keep annoying them about it until they do it. Anything you can do, Gwyneth Paltrow can do better. Well, that’s kind of what Gwyneth seems to think about everything. Her latest example of that centers on how she and Chris Martin handled their divorce. There’s no denying that the pair were pretty cool about the way it was handled. I mean, usually when celebrities find themselves divorcing, they take to social media to trash the other. That’s sort of what happens in the celebrity world. Paltrow revealed to InStyle Magazine that she still maintains a very good relationship with Chris. “He’s at my house every single day. We have our own lives, but we still have our family life.” She continued, “To this day, Chris would take a bullet for me, even though I’m not his wife. I honestly think Chris and I have contributed something positive to the culture of divorce.” It’s great for the kids that their parents are managing to get along. All too often, the children are affected the most when their parents split up. However, going as far as implying she’s a role model for divorce is a bit of a stretch, but what else can we expect from the woman who seems to think she’s the best thing since sliced bread? Another talking point for the GOOPster centered on how much critics hate on her beloved website that sells a variety of products for heavily inflated prices. “It used to be that I would talk about something or write about it, and people would be like, ‘What the f - - k is she talking about? She’s a witch!’ And then later on it would sort of catch on . . . I’m like, this is my role. I’m here to do this. On December 23, the entertainment world was stunned by the news that iconic actress and writer Carrie Fisher had suffered a heart attack while aboard a flight. Four days later, Fisher passed away , marking an end to both a remarkable career and a frequently turbulent life. In an almost unbelievably heartbreaking coda to a year defined by loss, Fisher’s mother, the entertainment legend Debbie Reynolds, died just one day after her daughter’s passing. Now, in a fitting tribute to a mother and daughter who were so often inseparable in life, Fisher and Reynolds will reportedly be laid to rest in a joint memorial service. “I think this is what they would have wanted” a source close to the family tells TMZ. The idea for a joint service was reportedly inspired by Reynolds’ last words, “I want to be with Carrie.” Insiders say mother and daughter will be honored at both a small, private ceremony for family and friends, and a larger, more public memorial service at which fans can pay their respects. The relationship between Reynolds and Fisher was often turbulent, but those who knew the screen icons best say their many ups and downs only brought them closer. Fisher’s relationship with her mother inspired many of her autobiographical writings, including the fictionalized account of her family life, Postcards From the Edge . The novel was later adapted into a film, with Meryl Streep playing the character based on Fisher, and Reynolds’ surrogate being portrayed by Shirley MacLaine. Tonight, Ronda Rousey will return to the UFC octagon for the first time since her crushing defeat at the hands of Holly Holm back in November of 2015. Not only was it her first loss, the stunning upset marked only the second time one of Rousey’s fights lasted longer than one round. Rousey has spoken openly about spiraling into depression in the wake of her defeat by Holm, and many have questioned her emotional fitness to return to the ring. Needless to say, a lot is on the line for the 28-year-old fan favorite, but based on her latest Instagram upload it seems Rousey is more than ready to square off against Amanda Nunes tonight in Las Vegas. According to Rousey’s caption, the photo on the left was taken five days prior to her February 2015 fight against Cat Zingano, which Rousey won by submission in an astonishing 14 seconds. The pic on the right was taken five days before tonight’s matchup against Nunes. Rousey captioned her post “#FearTheReturn,” and it looks like Nunes should be doing exactly that. Prior to her fight against Holm, Rousey was criticized for focusing too much on the public relations aspect of her career. She made cameos in films like Furious 7 and Entourage . She appeared in commercials, worked red carpets, and happily gave on-the-street interviews to tabloid-y outlets like TMZ. These days Rousey is all business. She’s made few public appearances in the 13 months since her loss to Holm, and she left yesterday’s weigh-in without offering a word to the press. Adding to the pressure is the fact that Rousey has already announced her retirement plans , describing the Nunes bout as “one of my last fights” in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres last month. Clearly, the pressure is on for Rousey’s long-awaited return, and many believe that if she’s able to recapture her title, As though she needed added motivation, Rousey – an outspoken Bernie Sanders supporter – engaged in a public feud with Donald Trump last year, with the president-elect stating he’s “glad” she lost to Holm .
