Even if they’re broken up (thank goodness) for now. “I definitely have so much respect and love for him,” Gomez told Norway’s NRJ Radio when asked about her Bieber-inspired song, “The Heart Wants What It Wants.” “Going in the studio [for me] is very therapeutic, like any other artist.” Either she’s taking the high road (rather than the usual cryptic Instagram passive aggressive quote road) or feels genuinely strongly about her ex-lover. We honestly can’t decide which scenario would be weirder at this point, but that’s Selena Gomez for you. The heart wants what it wants, and the brain? The brain may be messed up beyond repair. We hate to say it, but … Why she still has any positive feelings, let alone love and respect for Bieber , is a bit of a mystery given the fact that they’ve broken up in ugly fashion so often. The two pop megastars seemed to be on the outs just last month, too. Justin unfollowed her on Instagram after the song dropped, a move that didn’t make much sense, as Gomez told Ryan Seacrest that Bieber thought the song was “beautiful.” Just last weekend, she was reportedly crying over him at Taylor Swift’s party , leading us to believe that she was going back down this sad, familiar road again. Phaedra Parks: Spending Christmas in PRISON With Apollo Nida?!

Just because Apollo Nida is serving an 8-year prison sentence, that doesn’t mean he can’t patch things up with his estranged wife, right? Okay, in most cases, that would be exactly what it means, but somehow, Apollo may have convinced the famously strong-willed Phaedra to give him a second chance, despite his history of astonishingly douchey (and criminal) behavior. In Apollo’s fist prison interview , he begged Phaedra to bring his sons for a visit, and to give their marriage a second chance. That latter request might be a long shot, but it certainly seems like Phaedra’s open to brightening her ex’s holiday with some family time: Phaedra Parks Talks Apollo Nida Prison Visit Asked by a TMZ cameraman if she would be visiting Apollo in the big house over Phaedra replied , “I would love to!” Not the most committed response, but she went on to say, “I speak to him all the time. Phaedra skipped Apollo’s sentencing , and he reportedly stopped by her house to terrorize her one last time while on the way to turn himself in. On The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 4, Phaedra continued to face the fallout from Apollo’s decisions, while Kenya tried to mend some fences. Of course, seeing as it’s Kenya and she’s torn through more fences than … something that’s torn through a lot of fences, that proved easier said than done. Meanwhile, NeNe put those rumors of not bringing her A-game to rest. Hanging with Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams, NeNe Leakes tore into Cynthia Bailey and made sure Bravo got its money’s worth . “When we stopped talking, I missed her friendship,” Leakes said. “Now I’m over it. Cynthia is trying to make her mark. It really doesn’t look cute on her.” “I’m never gonna be friends with her again. Ever!” They are never, ever, ever getting back together as friends, it sounds like. Nor do we assume Kenya Moore will be asking NeNe to the spa this season. Yesterday, we learned that Michael Phelps’ girlfriend Taylor Lianne Chandler was born a man , and didn’t share this crucial fact with Phelps before they began hooking up. Today, we received an even more revealing glimpse into their relationship, as Radar Online has obtained screenshots from several sexy – and often sad – text exchanges between Phelps and Chandler: Taylor Lianne Chandler-Michael Phelps Texts 1. We already knew that Chandler was with Phelps the night he was arrested for DUI , but these texts reveal that the swimmer and the PR exec were already well-acquainted before the incident, and their relationship continued for at least a week afterward. Of course, it often seems Phelps desperately wanted to cut ties. Though the texts aren’t dated, Radar claims the first screenshot is from September 21, nine days before Phelps’ arrest. Chandler casually tells Phelps, “I’m walking today like I went horseback riding…Good times though.”  Needless to say, the two were intimate the night before, and based on their conversation it seems as though it wasn’t the first time. In the weeks that followed, Chandler begged Phelps to spend time with her, and though he frequently replied that he would prefer to “be alone,” he is cordial and seems concerned for her well-being.  Just before Phelps checked into rehab last month he texted Chandler, “I’m not going to have my fone for a while.” In an interview that she gave yesterday, Chandler stated that she hopes her relationship with Phelps will continue after he checks out of rehab later this week. Ty Herndon, Country Music Star, Comes Out as Gay

Ty Herndon has come out as gay. The singer opened up this week to People magazine about his sexuality, saying he realized he was gay many years ago and now “it’s time to tell my truth.” And what is that truth?  “I’m an out, proud and happy gay man,” Herndon says, adding that he told his parents back during his 20s and: “My mother probably knew I was gay before I did. I remember sitting down with her and having the conversation.” The Nashville artist was arrested in 1995 for exposing himself to a police office and also spend time in rehab for a substance abuse problem. “I have made a lot of mistakes in my life. They’ve been my mistakes, and I own them,” says Herndon . “I’ve done a lot of work around forgiveness with people that I’ve hurt and people I’ve not been honest with because of my sexuality.” About four years ago, country artist Chely Wright also came out as gay . Herndon says he’s in a serious relationship with a partner named Matt and that he’s trying to reconcile his Christian faith with his homosexuality. “I sit on the tailgate of my pickup truck, and I meditate, and I talk to God,” he says. “That’s really all I need to know. I have a connection to something bigger than myself, and no one’s going to tell me that I can’t have it. Dean McDermott to Tori Spelling: Our Kids Are DONE With Reality TV!

Earlier today, we learned that Tori Spelling may have filed for divorce from Dean McDermott without McDermott’s knowledge. Many wondered what could have possibly driven Tori to such drastic action after all that she’s done to save her marriage. Now we know her decision to pull the plug may have coincided with Dean putting a stop to the reality show that’s been Tori’s primary source of income for the past year. McDermott quit True Tori  earlier this month, citing the various ways in which the show had damaged his psyche and reputation. Tori reportedly planned to continue on without him, but sources say Dean has now demanded that the couple’s four children no longer be filmed, thus effectively putting an end to the series. “Dean has made it known he’s done filming True Tori,” says the insider. “And in his mind, the time has come for the kids to be taken off the show as well.” McDermott’s decision is said to be the result of the couple’s eldest son, Liam, having behavioral problems at school. “The family desperately needs some time away from the camera, but Tori won’t let it happen,” says the source. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore is feeling vindicated following Apollo Nida’s admission that he lied about Moore trying to sex him up. In her latest Bravo blog, Kenya couldn’t contain her happiness at having her name cleared, and couldn’t resist a dig at Nida’s wife for believing him. “I have never wanted Apollo, never offered him sexual favors,” the former beauty queen wrote after The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 2 . “Apollo clearly has the propensity to lie.” Parks “has called [her] a wh*re 99 different ways” since the rumor started, and Moore says “I may be a lot of things, but I have never been anyone’s wh*re.” She says she’s appalled that Parks, an attorney, never “checked his story out before publicly slandering and defaming” her and giving her the silent treatment. The Bachelor Promo: Chris Soules’ Field of Dreams!

The handsome Chris Soules stars in ABC’s first promo for the new season of The Bachelor, and in it, both he and the network show they’re in on the joke. The Bachelor Promo: Chris Soules The Bachelor strikes a unique balance on TV, with its utterly ridiculous premise, epically cheesy cliches and outrageous displays of behavior from contestants. All of that makes it a fun show to watch, of course, and the show layers all of these facets with enough humor and inside jokes to balance out the absurdity. While it’s impossible to take what you see seriously, there remains enough genuine emotion and intrigue to keep it from becoming a total joke, as well. Combine all that together and what you have is one of the longest-running and most successful franchises on network TV, with no end in sight either. In Chris Soules , ABC has again found the whole package, and is packaging it accordingly as the unintentional comedy the show has become in this teaser. Soules, 32, was rejected by Andi Dorfman on The Bachelorette this summer, but not after leaving Andi (and more than a few fans) swooning for weeks. Now we see the Iowa farmer playing to type and walking through a cornfield, voices from unseen women calling to him. The Bachelor meets Field of Dreams . At the end of the clip, Soules finds and holds up the rose “they will come” for, making for a funny pop culture reference and a tongue-in-cheek teaser. Chris Soules Photos: The Bachelor 2015! 1. By the time the season starts in early January, things will start to get serious and melodramatic (you don’t need The Bachelor spoilers to tell you that). No one wants to watch The Bachelor online if it’s not funny. Otherwise, even cat fighting and women trying to outdo each other get old after awhile.
