Earlier this week the “model” decided to give fans a glimpse at her hairstyle “Da Coco Swoop” which are actually just side swept box braids. “My new braids! I call um Da Coco Swoop.. I wanted a little change up for the Summer,” she captioned a photo of the “new” style. She also made sure to add that she names ALL her hairstyles, not just her braids. “Oh and by the way.. I name all the braid styles I do even hair styles with no braids .. Its a cute thing I do.. I have many weird Coco-isms.” Fans then obliterated Coco for cultural appropriating and for calling the popular black hairstyle her new “swoop” look. “You’re not black lol and never will be,” wrote one. “What the f*** is the “coco swoop, who are you to claim our culture?” added another. Over the weekend, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth got married after just over six months of dating (or “courting,” in the Duggar parlance). That may seem incredibly fast, but procreation is kind of the Duggars' thing, and we imagine most young people would rush to the altar if they were denied any premarital physical contact beyond hand-holding. But while Joy-Anna and Austin's courtship was certainly a short one, the young couple didn't seem to have any doubts on their big day. Stop the presses and put an end to the speculation: Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are married. It’s finally true! And oh so exciting! For the past several days, fans of this reality star have been wondering whether or not she and her long-time acquaintance had tied the knot. There was chatter just a few days ago that Joy-Anna Duggar married Austin Forsyth last weekend in their native Arkansas. A top Duggar social media source, the Facebook page “Duggar Family News: Life Is Not all Pickles & Hairspray, fueled this speculation. Some sources reported that their wedding had, indeed, taken place, although we later learned this not the case after all. Now, however, we can state with certainty that the 19-year-old Joy and the 23-year-old Austin are wife and husband. Because they’ve confirmed it themselves! “We feel so happy and so excited,” the couple told People Magazine after getting married on Friday in a church full of family members and loved ones. The publication has even included a photo of Joy-Anna in her wedding dress for its exclusive article regarding the nuptials. Adds the bride of her big day and her new husband: “Leading up, it was so surreal until I was walking down the aisle and then I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, it’s actually here.’ “We are going to be traveling for our Honeymoon for awhile.” The young star got engaged just a few months after announcing their courtship on the special episode of Counting On: Jinger’s Wedding in November. This is typical protocol for members of the family, of course. Due to the very strict Duggar dating rules , they are barely allowed to do more than whisper in one another’s ears while dating. Heck, you can’t even hold hands until you’re engaged. Therefore, it makes sense they’d want to get married as soon as possible once they find someone they like a whole lot. In Joy-Anna and Austin’s case, the two were family friends for 15 years before entering into a courtship last fall. “It’s really special that I got to grow up with him and my family knows him really well,” Joy-Anna said of Austin back in February. Speaking on their shared history and relationship, the teenager acknowledged at the time that she’s relatively young to be engaged. At the same time, she’s witnessed successful relationships across the board when it comes to her gigantic family. “Watching my sisters go through that with their courtships sets a really good example,” she told People, adding: “I was able to ask them just a lot of questions and wisdom about what they did and didn’t do and then just making it special.” “Showing him how much I appreciate him, it’s been amazing.” Joy-Anna and Austin, meanwhile, recorded a video for TLC so soon after their nuptials that the former is still in her gown. In this preview, the newlyweds tease the June 12 return of Counting On and make it clear that they’re totally psyched to be married. “Saying our vows and saying ‘I do’ and committing our lives to each other is so incredible,” the bride said, beaming with joy. “I am so blessed to be married to him.” And Austin agrees. “I’m just looking forward to getting to share my life, its good time and its challenges, with my best friend,” says in this same teaser. Texas teacher Sarah Fowlkes, 27, is accused of having improper sexual relations with a student, a minor who was just 17 years old. Not that it seems to bother her all that much, based on her mug shot: “Yeah, girl! Way to get that D!” – Sarah to herself above . We kid, obviously, but one has to wonder how any individual – no matter how photogenic – is in that kind of mood while getting arrested. For a sex crime, no less. Just bizarre. In any case … A warrant was issued for her arrest for an alleged improper relationship with the male student, according to CHS Austin affiliate KEYE-TV. The Lockhart Police Department confirms that Fowlkes is accused of engaging in said conduct with a student at Lockhart High School. Lockhart Independent School District administrators learned of the alleged romance on March 10, just prior to the school’s spring break. Authorities said that they determined through a series of interviews that Fowlkes had in fact engaged in sexual contact with the student. The victim’s name has not been released, as he is underage. “It shocked me, especially since I used to go here,” River Morgan, a 2016 Lockhart High School graduate, said regarding the scandal. “I just feel like the teacher should know better than to do that,” Joe Chapa, another 2016 grad, told the Austin station that broke the story. Parents picking up students at Lockhart High School this week said they were surprised and disappointed, in the understatement of all time. Some said that the social media age doesn’t help matters. While it’s not an excuse, the easy online interaction between teachers and students makes it challenging to keep relations professional. “I feel like it makes it easier for an accidental relationship like that to happen,” Chapa said. “I think maybe there’s not as much of a distance.” “It should be much more professional.” Superintendent Susan Bohn emailed Lockhart High School parents on Monday to notify them of Fowlkes’ arrest and suspension, writing: “Lockhart parents entrust their children to us every day, and it is something we do not take lightly. Student safety is the district’s most important priority.” “As soon as we learned of the report, we acted swiftly to involve law enforcement and CPS to conduct a thorough investigation.” “The district does not and will not tolerate any improper communication or contact between a teacher and child,” Bohn added. Fowlkes has been with the district since 2014. According to her bio on the high school’s website, she taught anatomy (Did she ever! Too soon?), physiology and environmental systems. She previously taught third and fifth grade, but “Fowlkes will not return to the school district” in any capacaity, Bohn said in her statement. According to reports, Sarah Fowlkes celebrated her birthday along with her husband of four years before turning herself in to the authorities. Hey, you might as well enjoy it while it lasts, right? These past several months have been nothing but drama for the Kardashians. And not the fun kind of drama either — the life-threatening, family-destroying, totally heartbreaking kind of drama. Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in October, then her husband, Kanye West, had a huge mental breakdown . Shortly after, Scott Disick seemed to relapse, and all the while Rob Kardashian's relationship with Blac Chyna was falling apart. If it sounds like a mess, that's because it was — and we know that because we're seeing it all on the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In this new promo, we see Kim crying to Khloe and Kourtney about her robbery, and we also see her sobbing during a phone call about Kanye's breakdown. While the world has previously found so much joy in the face Kim makes when she cries, she's just too sad here. To pile on the sadness, we hear Scott telling someone that Kourtney is the love of his life, but then we cut to a scene from their recent Costa Rica vacation, the one where Scott brought some girl along and hid her in a nearby hotel. “You're just like a f-cking whore,” Kim tells him, to which he replies “I'm a sex addict!” Unfortunately, Kourtney tells him that “It's never going to work out” between them. In yet another scene, Khloe tells Rob that Blac Chyna doesn't want anything to do with him, and Rob says that Khloe's “a hater and a liar.” See all that drama and more in the promo below:
