For years now, rumors of Josh Duggar returning to Counting On have been circulating non-stop on social media. Come to think of it, those rumors began almost immediately after the Josh Duggar sex scandals that threatened to destroy his family’s media empire back in 2015. Once it became clear that the Duggars would not simply slink back into obscurity, as so many had hoped, many assumed the family would eventually figure out a way to reintroduce the known molester to their fan base. And now, we regret to inform you that it looks as though that day has come. As In Touch Weekly points out Josh was recently spotted in wife Anna’s Instagram stories. That may not sound like such a big deal, as Josh frequently makes appearances on his wife’s social media pages. But this time around, Anna’s eagle-eyed followers picked up on something highly unusual about the pics. As you can see, Josh seems to have assumed the master of ceremonies role at what appears to be a gathering of young Duggars. Again, nothing terribly unusual about that, as — for reasons that defy logic — the Duggars still allow Josh around their children. But what’s got the rumor mill working overtime this week is a pic that comes later in Anna’s IG story. This photo was taken at the same gathering, and again, it doesn’t appear that there’s anything out of the ordinary about it. If you look closely, however, you’ll notice that there appears to be a cameraman standing just out of frame on the right side. For obvious reasons, this has led many to the conclusion that the party was filmed for an upcoming episode of Counting On . Given that he was spotted addressing the room with a microphone in his hande on multiple occasions, would it even be possible to edit Josh out of the scene , as the show has done in the past? Timing-wise this might be Josh’s best opportunity to try and weasel his way back on TV. Astonishingly, the recent Josh and Anna comeback tour has been well-received by a disturbingly large segment of the Duggar fanbase. Dillon King is doing Amy Duggar totally raw these days. We’re not trying to be crude or inappropriate here. We’re just paraphrasing what King himself said to Us Weekly on Tuesday night. “We’re practicing, we’re not preventing,” Duggar’s husband told this publication yesterday at a WE tv event celebrating the return of Love After Lockup in Beverly Hills. Fans have been wondering for months whether Amy was expecting her first child . At this same event, onlookers told In Touch Weekly that Amy and Dillon were asked about the status of the former’s womb often on the red carpet. “I overheard them say to many people that they’re not pregnant, just practicing,” this tabloid’s source said, echoing King’s exact words. Amy, of course, is the niece of 19 Kids and Counting stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She’s 32 years old, which is ancient for one to have her first child in the Duggar universe. But Amy has always been her own person in this regard, even throwing a bit of shade at her relatives who got pregnant within weeks of exchanging vows. “I [don’t] want to limit myself by just getting pregnant right off the bat and not exploring the rest of what my life could be,” Duggar explained in October in defending her life choices. It now sounds as if Duggar and King are prepared for parenthood, however. “If it happens, it happens,” she told Us Weekly on Tuesday, adding: “We’re ready to be parents. We’re ready whenever it happens.” Like many other woman, however, Amy also confessed that she’s worried what pregnancy will do to her appearance. “I don’t want to look like an Oompa Loompa,” she joked. Duggar and King got married in September of 2015. They actually appeared on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Season 7, but have since worked out all the issues that plagued them at the time. “For me, I just want to be a hands-on kind of mom. He’ll be a hands-on kind of dad,” Amy continued on the subject of kids. “We want to be involved in our kids’ lives no matter what they do. And they’re going to be our little best friends. They don’t know it yet, but they will.” The plan is to have no more than two children and to announce Duggar’s eventual pregnancy in a way that is “out of the ordinary,” Duggar teases. John-David Duggar and Abbie Burnett have finally gotten fo first base. And now they’re prepared to go all the way… … as husband and wife! The couple, who started courting in June and announced their engagement a month later, went ahead and got married on Saturday, November 3. They confirmed the exciting news to Us Weekly via a statement that reads: “We are so excited to be married! “It was a beautiful moment and we so appreciate our friends and family for sharing this day with us. Most of all we are thankful to Christ for bringing us together. “This is going to be an amazing journey!” The Duggar family also made the nuptials public by writing a post titled “Husband and Wife!” on its official blog that includes this passage: “We are overjoyed for the two of them to begin their married life together. We know the Lord has brought them together and will use them to reach many people. “We are so happy to be surrounded by family and friends and we thank you all for your prayers and support for John and Abbie.” Many members of his famous family were afraid that John-David would never find a mate, but he seemed VERY into Abbie as soon as the pair made their relationship romantic. We often heard the two were breaking Duggar courtship rules on the reg, snuggling and even kissing in public. They just couldn’t keep their hands off each other , according to various reports. Of all of the reality star families on television, few – if any – are more controversial than the Duggar family of Tontitown, Arkansas. They’re so controversial, in fact, that 19 Kids & Counting was cancelled years ago. Yet most of the clan still appears on Counting On . Since last season ended, there’s been no official word of renewal, and no shortage of scandals involving the Duggars, making us wonder: Has TLC finally canceled Counting On ? The Duggars were always going to be controversial, from rearing 19 children to their extreme views of the world in which they are raised. Yet those same unorthodox rules and lifestyle guidelines are what made 19 Kids and Counting such a talked about series in the first place. The supervised “courtships” and side-hugs, Michelle’s hair, and again the very concept of having 19 children made the Duggars interesting. Many watched and appreciated how they clung to their religious and moral convictions. Others watched with more concern and fascination. Realizing that there are people in the US whose children are forced to grow up this way, isolated from mainstream society, some grew alarmed. None of that is what got 19 Kids and Counting taken off the air, however. Back in 2015, 19 Kids and Counting was canceled by TLC. That happened because Josh Duggar molested five little girls, including his own sisters. One of those sisters was only five years old . And Jim Bob and Michelle had covered it up. So, suddenly, Counting On became the vehicle for the Duggars to espouse their worldviews … without Josh, of course. And, initially, without Jim Bob and Michelle, though they have made occasional appearances on the rebooted version. While it returned to the airwaves and the more salacious scandals died down, Counting On hasn’t exactly been scandal-free, either. We don’t just mean Duggar daughters wearing pants or Joy-Anna Duggar’s very probably shotgun wedding or Jill Duggar’s nose piercing , either. We mean actual scandals. Like the one that got Derick Dillard fired from Counting On after a series of comments he made, of his own volition, and on his own time. Derick and Jill had been slammed multiple times for shadily begging fans for money to help with their already controversial “mission trips.” But what got Derick Dillard fired by TLC was his ongoing, one-sided feud with fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings. Jazz is a teenage star of her own series, I Am Jazz . What stuck in Derick’s craw was that Jazz is trans, and he feels “transgender is a myth.” An odd thing to say about a teenage girl who literally exists. It’s also the kind of statement that leads to real-world violence against trans women. Just the same, Derick continued to attack Jazz over social media and to misgender her at every opportunity, until finally TLC had enough. The question remains: will Derick Dillard’s firing – the network made it clear he won’t be back – lead to the cancellation of the entire series? Even two and a half years later, Josh Duggar scandal hasn’t actually gone away, except (apparently) in the minds of the Duggars. Counting On has had six seasons. But we don’t know if there will be a seventh, and based on recent events, it’s looking doubtful. The Inquisitr reports that TLC posted that Counting On had been renewed … only to immediately delete the post. That’s a clue … but of renewal for season seven, or of cancellation? No one knows, although there are theories. It may be that TLC intended to release the renewal announcement for the show, and accidentally posted it early. That happens sometimes when you’re scheduling a post for a future date, either on a webpage or social media. It may also be the case that TLC had scheduled a renewal post a while back … and then forgotten to cancel it when they changed their minds. The Duggars have posted on their own family blog that they don’t yet know if they’re getting renewed. Which means that no one outside of TLC knows. Our guess is that higher-ups are either still mulling it over … or they’ve decided to cancel Counting On and are waiting for the right time to drop the news. Stop the presses and put an end to the speculation: Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are married. It’s finally true! And oh so exciting! For the past several days, fans of this reality star have been wondering whether or not she and her long-time acquaintance had tied the knot. There was chatter just a few days ago that Joy-Anna Duggar married Austin Forsyth last weekend in their native Arkansas. A top Duggar social media source, the Facebook page “Duggar Family News: Life Is Not all Pickles & Hairspray, fueled this speculation. Some sources reported that their wedding had, indeed, taken place, although we later learned this not the case after all. Now, however, we can state with certainty that the 19-year-old Joy and the 23-year-old Austin are wife and husband. Because they’ve confirmed it themselves! “We feel so happy and so excited,” the couple told People Magazine after getting married on Friday in a church full of family members and loved ones. The publication has even included a photo of Joy-Anna in her wedding dress for its exclusive article regarding the nuptials. Adds the bride of her big day and her new husband: “Leading up, it was so surreal until I was walking down the aisle and then I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, it’s actually here.’ “We are going to be traveling for our Honeymoon for awhile.” The young star got engaged just a few months after announcing their courtship on the special episode of Counting On: Jinger’s Wedding in November. This is typical protocol for members of the family, of course. Due to the very strict Duggar dating rules , they are barely allowed to do more than whisper in one another’s ears while dating. Heck, you can’t even hold hands until you’re engaged. Therefore, it makes sense they’d want to get married as soon as possible once they find someone they like a whole lot. In Joy-Anna and Austin’s case, the two were family friends for 15 years before entering into a courtship last fall. “It’s really special that I got to grow up with him and my family knows him really well,” Joy-Anna said of Austin back in February. Speaking on their shared history and relationship, the teenager acknowledged at the time that she’s relatively young to be engaged. At the same time, she’s witnessed successful relationships across the board when it comes to her gigantic family. “Watching my sisters go through that with their courtships sets a really good example,” she told People, adding: “I was able to ask them just a lot of questions and wisdom about what they did and didn’t do and then just making it special.” “Showing him how much I appreciate him, it’s been amazing.” Joy-Anna and Austin, meanwhile, recorded a video for TLC so soon after their nuptials that the former is still in her gown. It’s official: Simone Biles isn’t just a world champion gymnast. She’s also a world champion comeback generator. On Dancing with the Stars last night , Biles advanced to this season’s semifinals on the heels of a solid Foxtrot and a strong Paso doble. But the former Olympian didn’t totally win over the judges with these routines, as Carrie Ann Inaba took Biles to task less for her dancing skills and more for her lack of emotion. “Your skills are unquestionable,” Inaba said, prior to getting into the crux of her critique: “You hit every line with precision and perfection. But once again, I’m going to come back to performance and authenticity about who you are when you perform… “You have this beautiful smile and you are a megastar with your energy, but once in a while, there’s beauty without a smile. “There’s beauty in pain and all of the other emotions, and I’d like to see more of that.” Julianne Hough agreed with her fellow panelist. “I don’t know if the smile is authentic because you want to smile, or if it’s just because you rehearsed it that way,” she told Biles. “I really just want to see some rawness come out.” This is, of course, completely ridiculous. And also a bit sexist. Can you imagine any judge telling a male contestant to smile more naturally? Fortunately, Biles had the perfect response to this odd and unfair criticism. “I’ve lived in a gym 14 years of my life, so it’s hard to show something I’ve never felt before,” she said at first, offering up a valid excuse for why she isn’t a natural on the dance floor. But after remaining stoic upon hearing positive reviews after her second performance, and then being asked by Tom Bergeron why she still wasn’t smiling, Biles responded: Smiling doesn’t win you gold medals. BAM! And Biles would know. This amazing comeback earned the athlete quite a bit of praise and admiration across social media. And then there was this: Following the episode, Biles and her partner Sasha Farber spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the struggle she’s had to connect with the judges this season. “I feel like everyone has their own opinion, clearly, and I feel it’s just how you take it,” Biles said, adding: “I feel like I am trying, I am being honest, but if they don’t see that, I don’t know what more I can do.” An intense competitor, Biles is accustomed to simply getting the job done; not concerning herself with what sort of emotions are displayed on her face. “You don’t know which wild card of sexy or of happy they want to bring, and you almost have to read their minds and find it,” she told ET last night, concluding that she nearly broke down on live television. “I had tears in my eyes. I almost ran to the bathroom at one point, but I pulled it together.” You go, Simone Biles! If we have it our way, this impressive young woman will win the entire thing this season… … and then accept the Mirrorball Trophy without even the faintest hint of a smile.
For weeks now, we’ve been hearing rumors that Jinger Duggar is pregnant with her first child . Part of the reason for the speculation is that Jinger has been married to Jeremy Vuolo for six full months, which means that by Duggar standards, the couple is well overdue for a pregnancy announcement. But on top of that, Jinger has allegedly been a little sloppy in terms of hiding her forthcoming bundle of joy from fans. For starters, several recent Instagram photos seem to show Jinger sporting a baby bump . Adding fuel to the rumor fire is the fact that Jinger recently hinted at a big announcement , which many fans believe will be a confirmation that she’s expecting. The Duggars are usually cagey with this sort of news, as they like to use major life events such as courtships, weddings, and pregnancies to draw viewers to their TLC reality show. Since Counting On Season 4 is just around the corner, it makes sense that Jinger and Jeremy would hold off in order to use the increased interest in their lives to promote the show’s June 12 return. Unfortunately for the young couple, keeping secrets in 2017 is no easy feat, and it seems they may have kept the news to themselves just a bit too long: According to several media outlets, a baby shower registry created by the Vuolos and posted to the site Buy Buy Baby was discovered by fans on Monday. The registry was either a hoax or there’s another Jinger Vuolo out there somewhere. But since it was promptly deleted and there’s been no mention of it by the Duggars, we’re guessing it was the real deal. In addition to the fact that Jinger is expecting, the registry revealed that her due date is December 16, and she’s expecting a baby girl! No word on what sort of items the Vuolos requested, but now that the cat’s out of the bag, it’s a safe bet that they’ll be making their “big announcement” sooner than expected. And of course, Jinger’s pregnancy will likely play a huge role in the highly anticipated fourth season of her family’s popular reality series. The Duggars love a fall wedding. Josh and Anna got married in late September of 2008 (and look how that turned out!). Jessa Duggar married Ben Seewald in late October of 2014. Now, fans believe Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo will be following suit by getting hitched tomorrow in Arkansas. Sure, it would mean a rather short engagement, but the leaves are at their most colorful throughout much of the US this time of year, which should make for some lovely wedding pics. Oh, and Jinger and Jeremy are both virgins, so they’re probably in a bit of a rush to get to the wedding night. Anyway, the Duggars haven’t made any official announcements with regard to when the couple will be walking down the aisle. But Jinger and Jeremy got engaged back in July, which means on a Duggar timeline, they’re due to get hitched. And there have been clues on the family’s reality show that the big day is close at hand. If you watch Counting On online , you know that the series second season has pretty much revolved around Jinger and Jeremy’s courtship. It’s not hard to see why producers are milking the storyline. Their relationship has served as a welcome distraction from the family’s recent scandals and provided a bump to the show’s disappointing ratings. At the conclusion of last week’s episode, a promo featuring Jinger and Jeremy promised two more weeks of new episodes. It was initially thought that the Jin-Jer wedding wouldn’t be televised until next season (if the show gets renewed), Now, it’s widely believed that the couple is planning to tie the knot in time for a surprise season finale. It would explain why producers have dragged the storyline of their engagement out for months with such baffling moves as an “engagement special” clip show. And it may be the network’s last chance to cash in on the Duggar’s declining popularity. With ratings in the gutter and advertisers cutting ties with TLC due to the Duggar-related controversies, the family’s time in the reality TV spotlight may be coming to a close. Hold on tight, everybody, because things are about to get uncomfortable in here real quick. The word on the street (or the internet or wherever) is that Anna Duggar just might be pregnant with her fifth child. Yes, just a year after Josh Duggar’s Ashley Madison scandal , the one where he was revealed to be hunting for a mistress online, the one that sent him off for sixth months so he could receive treatment for a sex and porn addiction, Anna could be carrying yet another one of his children. What a world … The rumors began, in part, because Anna was especially emotional on this week’s episode of Counting On. She gushed about Jana Duggar, one of Josh’s siblings, and said that “she will make an amazing wife one day, but selfishly right now, I’m so thankful I’ve had her as a shoulder to cry on.” Poor Anna presumably needs a shoulder to cry on because she married a disgusting, child-molesting adulterer , but perhaps she might be feeling a lot of feelings lately because of all those pregnancy hormones. Oh, and it also really looked like she had a baby bump. We probably should have mentioned that earlier. So either she’s pregnant or she had an especially large lunch, right? But it definitely looks like she could be pregnant. And the real surprise is that she hasn’t gotten pregnant already. We all know how the Duggars tend to operate when it comes to sex in marriage — no protection, all the babies, obviously — and even though things have been strained for Anna and Josh, it seems like, for better or for worse, they’re working through their issues. In an episode of Counting On that aired back in August, Anna revealed that “Personally, I have a lot of hope for our marriage .” “As I see Josh taking steps to do what’s right,” she explained, “it brings a lot of joy and helps heal the pain that we walked through.” “We are just taking it one day at a time, and working on strengthening our relationship as a couple and with our children.” But while that sounds nice and all, not everyone is so hopeful that Josh is treating Anna any better. In fact, a lot of people are concerned that Josh’s behavior has taken a turn for the worse. In a photo that was shared on the Duggar’s Facebook page last month, Anna appeared to have a black eye and a busted lip . The picture sparked rumors that Josh was possibly abusing her.
