Bruno Tonioli Slammed for Sexist Charlotte McKinney Critique: What Did He Say?

SPOILER ALERT: Charlotte McKinney was sent home on Dancing with the Stars last night . But the model and partner Keo Motsepe only earned 22 total points for their Rumba, tied for lowest of the evening, making it difficult to argue with the results. However, viewers are finding it very easy to take issue with the criticism leveled at McKinney by Bruno Tonioli after her routine. Charlotte McKinney Dances with the Stars “You’re never going to win the Nobel Prize for quantum physics, but you are easy on the eyes and you produce wonderful shapes,” the judge told the Carl’s Jr. commercial star, prompting a rebuke from his fellow panelists and a strong response from Tom Bergeron. The host told Bruno that he’ll never win the Nobel Prize, either. But, still, the insulting damage had been done. Numerous fans took to Twitter after the comment was made in order to slam Tonioli for a clearly sexist remark. “#DWTS @BrunoTonioli you need to apologize to @Char_mck @keodancer. Women can be smart and beautiful! Shame on you,” wrote one user, while another added: “Oh @BrunoTonioli such an ill advised “quantum physics” comment. An Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears duet? Count us in! The 24-year-old music star spoke candidly about the collaboration on the red carpet at the 2015 iHeart Radio Awards on Sunday night. Azalea talked about how the single was originally given to her from Britney, only for it to be taken back for her own album. “I tried to keep it, but she said no, no. Actually, I am going to take it. Iggy Azalea Responds to "Blaccent" Criticism

Iggy Azalea has been on the receiving end of some serious criticism in recent months. Some of it might stem from the fact that society of finally getting sick of having the hook from “Fancy” stuck in its collective head, but some of the complaints about Iggy speak to much larger issues: Rappers such as Azealia Banks have slammed Iggy for what they feel is a lack of empathy for the culture from which she profits. Iggy has complained that she’s unfairly criticized because she’s a woman , but in reality, it’s the fact that she’s a white Australian rapper who’s co-opted the style, the dialects, and even the accent associated with hip hop culture, all while demonstrating zero concern for the plight of African-Americans. Iggy’s accent (one part Vanilla Ice, two parts overcompensating Juggalo) has received surprisingly little attention in the debate over her place in hip hop.  That changed yesterday when Eve and Jill Scott appeared on Sway’s Sirius radio show. Asked what she dislikes most about Iggy’s music, Eve replied: “The blaccent. Is that horrible? She’s from a different place. It would be dope to hear her with her swag.” Eve on Iggy Azalea So Eve put a positive spin on it, but it seems that Iggy is in ’round-the-clock defensive mode these days, so she took to Twitter to respond to the critique: “There’s a difference between being yourself and being your stereotype,” Iggy tweeted. “When people I’ve never met say I should act more ‘like myself’ I feel like they’re really saying, ‘Act more like how I stereotype you to be so I can feel comfortable.'” Something tells us that Iggy complaining about feeling stereotyped as a white woman isn’t gonna sway critics who feel she’s woefully ignorant of the problems faced by black Americans. 11 Odd Iggy Azalea Facts! 1. Despite rumors that Kanye West would be returning to Los Angeles to spend the holidays with his wife, daughter, and new in-laws, it looks as though the rapper forced Kim Kardashian to choose between her husband and the rest of her family. Sources say Kim reached the last-minute decision to spend Christmas in Paris, just as Yeezy had hoped. It was initially reported that Kim and Kanye would be spending Christmas apart , as the rapper seemed reluctant to return to the States, and was in working on his album in Paris as recently as yesterday. But last night Kanye touched down at LAX, he and Kim bought extravagant presents for North West and it looked as though he’d be spending the holiday with the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Now, however, insiders are claiming that Yeezus convinced Kim that Paris is the place to spend the holidays, and now the Wests are headed east…much to the chagrin of Kris Jenner. “Kanye was adamant that Kim and North spend the Christmas holiday together with him, away from all the holiday insanity of the Kardashians,” a source tells Radar Online. “The last thing Kanye wants to do is spend the holiday with Kim’s entire family.” Rumor has it, the entire family already ditched Kris on Thanksgiving , and the notoriously hard-headed momager was hoping they’d make it up to her on Christmas. A week ago Sunday, the birth of Kourtney Kardashian’s third child captivated the celebrity gossip world, and not just because this happened to fall on her first-born’s birthday. The spawn of Kimye being named after a direction may be the dumbest thing in human history. Iggy Azalea: Sex Tape to be Released By Hackers Unless Rapper Apologizes to Azalea Banks?!

Back in September, news of an Iggy Azalea sex tape spread across the Internet like big-bootied wildfire. Several sources have confirmed that footage of Iggy getting fancy in the bedroom does indeed exist. They added that t would likely never see the light of day, however, as it was being used by an ex to exploit Iggy, thus ensuring that she’d never sign off on its release. But now, thanks to Iggy’s feud with Azealia Banks , the footage may be released online whether I-G-G-Y likes it or not. Hackers who claim to be tied to the online activist group Anonymous directed a series of threatening tweets at Iggy following her war of words with Banks: “You have exactly 48 hours from now to issue a statement apologizing to Azealia Banks and the protesters in NYC,” reads one tweet, which refers to the demonstrations following the non-indictment of police officer Daniel Pantaleo. “You are guilty of misappropriating black culture, insulting peaceful protesters and making light of Eric Garner’s death…There’s an X-rated tape of you we bet you certainly don’t want public, are we right? Comply or else.” Scary stuff, but Anonymous denies any involvement in the attack, and the group’s Twitter account has already been suspended. The Iggy-Banks feud became racially charged after Banks gave an interview in which she accused Iggy of profiting from black culture, while failing to appreciate the struggles of African-Americans. Just days after settling her ugly feud with Snoop Dogg , Iggy Azalea finds herself at the center of another vicious war of words – this one with a little-known rapper named Hefe Wine. You may recall that Wine demanded a divorce from Iggy last week, thus overlooking minor details such as the fact that they were never married. Wine claimed that he and Azalea were common law married, a fact that only occurred to him after his ex became rich and famous. Other classy moves by Mr. Wine include threatening to leak an Iggy Azalea sex tape if the rapper didn’t make with the cash. And they say chivalry is dead! Snoop Dogg Apologizes to Iggy Azalea; T.I. Squashes the Beef!

Well, it’s over. One of the most unexpected rap beefs in the history of hip hop has come to an equally surprising conclusion. The Iggy Azalea-Snoop Dogg feud that began when Doggfather posted an insulting Instagram pic directed at Iggy has officially been resloved, with Iggy’s mentor T.I. stepping in to play peacemaker. Snoop Dogg Apologizes to Iggy Azalea Snoop uploaded the above video to Instagram just moments ago, and though he never mentions I-G-G-Y by name, it’s pretty clear whom he’s apologizing to.  “It’s officially over,” Snoop says to the camera. “No more bad talk. I apologize.” Of course, the stoned smirk that spreads across Snoop’s face at the end makes us feel like the apology might be less than 100% sincere, but we’re sure Iggy will take what she can get. It’s hard to remember a celebrity feud that escalated this quickly. In less than a day, things went from playful Instagram chiding to Snoop’s crew threatening to sic Nicki Minaj on Iggy . Iggy’s boyfriend Nick Young got involved in the beef and before anyone realized what was happening, a full-blown inter-generational hip hop beef was afoot.
