Not only was La Flame presented with a city to the city while performing in his hometown, but it was also announced mid-concert that Houston will be getting a new amusement park, all thanks to Travis Scott and his love of ASTROWORLD. On Wednesday, February 13, while the rapper was performing in Houston for the second leg of his ASTROWORLD: Wish You Were Here Tour , Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner took the Toyota Center stage to surprise everybody at the concert with a special announcement. “Because of him, we want to bring another amusement theme park back to the city,” Mayor Turner said before presenting Scott with his very own key to the city. “Because of him, we want to bring another amusement park back to Houston.” Mayor @SylvesterTurner gives a key to the city to @trvisXX ! pic.twitter.com/0IJpstfkEz — Toyota Center (@ToyotaCenter) February 14, 2019 According to the Mayor’s Office, the desire to bring a theme park back to Houston is solely the brainchild of Travis Scott. According to reports from  KHOU 11 News ,   Scott is in support of the mayor tapping investors to help create and design an amusement park that operates as a private business venture. “This would not be a city project but would encourage the use of private money and developers,” Turner’s spokeswoman further explained about the project. “Mayor Turner is definitely in support of that.” It was truly lit at @ToyotaCenter this evening. On Thursday the multi-Grammy-nominated singer and his partners held a midnight soiree celebrating female change-makers in the entertainment industry, in particular, outstanding African-American women who continue to move the needle. Honorees included Juliette Jones of Atlantic Records, Ethiopia Habtermariam of Motown Records, and Latanya Newt of BET Network. This partnership is an extension of Toyota’s ongoing support of highlighting and championing African-American women across various industries. “I am absolutely thrilled that I was able to recognize some key players in the entertainment industry, who have had a personal impact on my career,” said Tank. “The Black woman should be celebrated and this is just a token of my appreciation to show the importance of Black women music execs.” Toyota Diversity & Inclusion representative, Alva Adams-Mason, stated “Toyota is proud to celebrate diversity within the entertainment industry,” added Toyota Diversity & Inclusion representative Alva Adams-Mason. “It’s women like Ethiopia, LaTanya, and Juliette, who pave the way for future women executives of color to make headways within the entertainment industry and beyond. It is moments like this that allow the brand to showcase our commitment to championing and empowering women of color to ‘go places’ and move the needle in the arts.” Soiree attendees included Nicole Murphy Selma actor Stephan James, Pleasure P, and June’s Diary. In addition to celebrating trailblazing women, Tank is celebrating success. Get Well: Kim Zolciak Pens Heartfelt Message to Husband Following Son’s Surgery

It’s been a very hard week for the Biermann family, as Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak and husband Kroy’s son Kash recently underwent surgery following a serious dog bite. In an effort to stay strong as a family, Kim has written a heartfelt note to her hubby, thanking him for being an extraordinary father and partner through the best of times as well as the worst. The 38-year-old mother of six took to Instagram to show her appreciation, sharing a photo of Kroy side-by-side with their child on a stretcher in the hospital. “I don’t know what I would do without you @kroybiermann. It's been a long road for the Duggar clan from Tontitown, Arkansas. Over the past decade, we've watched Jim Bob, Michelle and kids go from the stars of a limited-run TLC documentary series to one of the most famous families in the history of reality TV. During that time, the family expanded (There was a time when they were a scant 16 kids and counting!) and endured some incredibly dark times. (The Josh Duggar sex scandals will rightfully never be forgotten.) Not surprisingly, the Duggars have changed as individuals as much as they've changed as a family since gaining fame. Raven Gates’ ex-boyfriend Hunter Hayes has a bone to pick with the popular show, and it has nothing to do with The Bachelor spoilers . Well, unless you’re talking about his spoiled reputation as a man. Thanks to Raven’s claim that she’s never told a man she loves him, or had an orgasm (at all), Henry has become a subject of fascination. And hilariously, he’s calling out the show in an interview with Us . During Gates and Nick Viall’s fantasy-suite date on Monday’s episode, she told the Bachelor that she’s never said “I love you” to a man. Nor has she experienced, even once, what an orgasm feels like. Yes, this happened on national TV, making fans immediately wonder what the Hoxie, Arkansas, native’s ex-boyfriend Henry was doing. Or not doing, to be more accurate. They dated for two years! He was also discussed on an earlier episode in which Gates alleged that while they were dating, she caught him banging another woman.  At that point, Raven said, she attacked her beau with a high-heeled shoe, an image that brings a smile to our face (cheating aside).  Hunter’s definitely not among those laughing about it, however. “Comments made by Raven about our relationship are skewed and untrue,” Henry tells the website. “However, I wish her all the best.” “Definitely not true about the whole orgasm thing,” he adds. Sure man. You just keep telling yourself that okay? “And she has told me she loved me multiple times,” says Hunter, who’s in the running for Worst BF of the 2010s honors, “just for the record.” Anyone buying what Henry is selling here? Would The Bachelor actually invent wholesome, sweet Raven Gates’ “secret”  as a storyline? Actually, they very well might, come to think of it … We put nothing past Mike Fleiss and company, though at the same time it feels hard to believe Raven would go out and lie like that. Right? Or would she do that if they told her to? In any case, Bachelor Nation fans have been fascinated by Gates’ claim that she has never climaxed from any sort of sexual activity. After the episode aired, a GoFundMe account popped up online seeking to raise money to buy the 25-year-old boutique owner a vibrator. An altruistic endeavor if ever there were one. Raven is one of Viall’s final three ladies, along with Vanessa Grimaldi and Rachel Lindsay, after he eliminated Corinne Olympios Monday. (We imagine Corinne and her platinum vagine have had about 14 orgasms, manually and/or with the aid of someone else, since then.) It was during Gates’ overnight date with Nick that the topic of the Big O came up, and Viall was at a loss for words like the rest of us. Gates had just come out of a bad breakup with Hunter Henry (never trust a dude with two first names) when she applied for the show. She says she’s slept with only him (and apparently, he didn’t do a very good job of it), before meeting and building up their great chemistry. Whether that’s enough to get her the final rose over Vanessa (we know Rachel is out) remains to be seen, along with any orgasmic action. Monday’s episode left off with a mini-cliffhanger. Raven ultimately accepted Nick’s invitation to the Fantasy Suite, where she met up with Viall and his uncomfortable looking turtleneck. Did he ditch said sweater and become THE ONE to take Raven to the Oh-Zone for the first time in her life on that hot night in Finland? Bachelor Nation can only hope. Jane Fonda Reveals Rape, Childhood Abuse in Shocking New Interview

Jane Fonda is a remarkable woman. From her support to the civil rights movement in the 1960s to her involvement with several feminists causes to, let’s be real, her iconic workout videos, she’s been an inspiration to many. And in this new interview with the also amazing Brie Larson , Jane is really just taking our appreciation of her to an entire new level. Jane, who turns 80 this year, kicked things off by giving some real talk about feminism — particularly about the struggles of growing up as a woman so many years ago. “I grew up in the ’50s,” she explains, “and it took me a long time to apply feminism to my life. The men in my life were wonderful, but victims of a [patriarchal] belief system. I felt diminished.” She says that the first time she truly felt she was a feminist was when she saw Eve Ensler do a performance of The Vagina Monologues — which would have been in the mid 90s at the earliest. “It took a long time” for her to call herself a feminist though, “because I was brought up with the disease to please.” She went on to say, and this is where things really take an intense turn, that “To show you the extent to which a patriarchy takes a toll on females; I’ve been raped, I’ve been sexually abused as a child and I’ve been fired because I wouldn’t sleep with my boss and I always thought it was my fault.” “That I didn’t do or say the right thing.” “I know young girls,” she says, “who’ve been raped and didn’t even know it was rape. They think, ‘It must have been because I said ‘no’ the wrong way.'” “One of the great things the women’s movement has done is to make us realize that [rape and abuse] is not our fault. We were violated and it’s not right.” This is the first time Jane’s ever publicly said that she’s been raped — after so many years of speaking up for women’s rights , it must have taken a lot for her to share this. It’s not the only thing she shared though. She also discussed her controversial opposition to the Vietnam War. “I didn’t become an activist until I was 31,” she says. “When I found out what was really happening in Vietnam I didn’t care if I ever worked again; I considered leaving the business to become a full-time activist.” She recalls that “My father was terrified for me. He remembered the ’50s when people’s careers were destroyed.” Jane even adds that, with Trump as president, “It’s possible the [Hollywood] blacklist will be brought back.” And on the topic of Trump, she says that there are many battles to be fought, including but certainly not limited to the fight against defunding Planned Parenthood . About being an activist for so many years, she says “Honey, I am almost 80 years old. If you want to make it to the long-haul, you have to take care of yourself.” “I get more than eight hours sleep every night; I meditate twice a day for half an hour; I eat right; I workout.” “I always tell activists: ‘This is going to be a long struggle.
