On June 26th, Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman became a widower when his wife, Beth, passed away after battling cancer. And understandably, he’s having a tough time dealing with that huge loss. Dog has made many public statements admitting how much he’s struggling, each more heartbreaking than the last. Last weekend, a memorial service was held for Beth in Colorado — it was open to anyone and everyone who wanted to remember her, so several people were there to document what he said in his speech there. At one point in the service, he said “She will never be dead to me. She is in another place.” “I’m gonna get to heaven and make her so proud,” he insisted. “She’s gonna say it like she said here, ‘That’s my man right there, that’s big daddy right there.'” He also recalled one of the last conversations he had with her, one where she told him “Please big daddy, please let me go .” “I said, ‘No, I can’t,'” he remembered. “‘I’m not gonna let you go.'” “I still haven’t let her go,” he told the people in attendance. He said that he’s never felt so bad, and that “If there’s a God, he won’t let me live that long without her.” It seems like at the moment, he’s not too interested in the idea of going about things without Beth by his side — at another point in the service, he said something similar. “In the ’70s, I did 18 months in the Texas penitentiary,” he said, “and I told God yesterday I’d do five years, ten years day to day just to kiss her again.” Now, Dog is sharing the same sentiment on Instagram … except this time, it’s more of a threat. On his page, he shared this meme that reads “Don’t piss off old people. The older we get, the less “life in prison” is a deterrent.” In his caption, he wrote “Fugitives beware,” and hashtagged his new show, Dog’s Most Wanted . Another hashtag he used? “Dog without Beth.” We know that Beth did a lot of filming for this upcoming show — she refused to do chemo so she could travel with him to shoot it. From what we’ve seen, her failing health was part of the show as well. It will be so heartbreaking to see how this all plays out on television. Especially since, judging by this post, Dog is considering taking some of his grief out on the fugitives he catches. In the comments, his faithful followers were quick to offer him love and support — and it looks like some of them are genuinely afraid he’ll land himself in prison. One woman commented “I told my husband those fugitives better really watch out for Dog now!” Another person wrote “Keeping you and your family in my thoughts. Keep your head clear, Dog. Beth is watching from above, cheering you on.” “I know it’s hard but don’t let your grief cloud your judgement and diminish your morals.” So many people noted his “Dog without Beth” hashtag and told him that he would never truly be without her, that she was watching over him always. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2019: In Memoriam We hope he’s able to deal with his grief in a healthy way, and that he manages to get through this immensely difficult time as easily as he possibly can. And, as always, RIP, Beth.
It’s hard to imagine that anyone could possibloy do more with a single year of their life than what Meghan Markle has accomplished in the past 12 months. But despite all that she’s achieved, it was often Meghan’s feud with Kate Middleton that dominated tabloid headlines. Yes, for as long as she’s been a Royal, Meghan’s allegedly strained relationship with Kate has been a favorite subject of the media. Even after new revelations indicated that it was a feud between Harry and William that caused the women to behave coolly toward one another in public, certain media outlets couldn’t resist the “catfighting duchesses” narrative. In recent weeks, however, there’s been a shift not only in Meg and Kate’s behavior toward one another, but also in the way the press has been covering their relationship. Kate and Meghan attennded Wimbledon together last week, and it was hard not to notice the signs that the two of them had seemed to be enjoying an almost-sisterly bond. Now, the renewed friendship between the “princess moms” is the subject of a People magazine cover story. “There is a sense of [Meghan and Kate’s] relationship strengthening,” says a source close to the situation. The source says that the duchesses “were genuine and sweet together,” while watching Meghan’s friend Serena Williams compete. When Williams lost her match, “Kate put her hand out and rubbed Meghan’s back to console her,” the insider recalls. “It illustrated a warm relationship between these women who have young babies and are in similar situations in their lives,” royal expert Victoria Arbiter told People. “Coming from different backgrounds, I think, they have more the makings of a team than people imagined,” says author and historian Robert Lacey. ‘“And they have a common interest as partners to these two men who are so crucial to the monarchy, along with their children.” People’s source confirms that the duchesses have become much closer in the months since Meghan welcomed her first child . “They’re each a little more relaxed,” says the insider. “They have more in common now.” Ironically, Kate and Harry’s decision to move out of Kensington Palace apparently brought the couple closer to Will and Kate. The source claims distancing themselves from the living space they once shared has allowed the Fab Four “them more time to be like family,” rather than colleagues. Whatever the case, we much prefer this narrative to the one in which Kate and Meg are forever at one another’s throats — and we’re sure we’re not alone!
Source: Starz / Power A ugust 25, we will be singing “they say it’s a big rich town” for the final season. Starz’s hit original series, Power returns for its sixth and final season. Yesterday (July 6) the network unveiled the trailer for the show, and it basically proves one thing, Ghost (Omari Hardwick) can’t trust a single soul in his shaky circle, not even his own damn son. It’s the final battle between brothers. The #FinalBetrayal begins August 25 on @STARZ . pic.twitter.com/11DlAiT29M — Power (@Power_STARZ) July 6, 2019 All James St. Patrick wants to do is be a legitimate businessman, honor his deceased daughter by getting the Queens Child Project erected and be a loving father to his stubborn ass son Tariq. BUT, of course, that will prove to be difficult thanks in large part to his brother in crime, Tommy (Joseph Sikora) — now trying to cancel Christmas on him… AGAIN — to be the biggest dope dealer in NYC with the help of his boo Keisha (La La Anthony) who has a bone to with her best friend Tasha (Natura Naughton). It also doesn’t help that Riq is out here looking like a watered down version of his dad by getting into the drug game while at the same time partnering up with those who want to see the patriarch of the St. Patrick family six feet under. We can’t forget that Dre (Rotimi) is still running the streets, and the Feds led by Cooper Saxe (Shane Johnson) are still hot on his tail and want to see the former drug kingpin in jail. The 2:08 trailer confirms the return of Angela Valdez (Lela Loren) who was shot by Tommy in season 5’s “cliffhanger” season finale . Despite viewers thinking it was the end of Ghost’s legendary side chick, showrunner Courtney A.Kemp confirmed immediately that she would be returning for the final season so her presence in the trailer should come as no surprise to anyone. So buckle up, it looks like we are in for a wild ride, season 6 will be bringing the twists and turns and somehow manage to spread it out through 15 episodes. Step into the trailer for Power’s final season below and keep it locked here for full recaps.
We've already reported on the winners at the 2019 BET Awards , but the real winners were those of us who watched Cardi B perform. No, scratch that — the real winner was Offset, because of his role in her performance. Cardi gave him a wild and tantalizing lapdance on stage and it was the best part of the night. Take a look: On Sunday, Cardi B made it very clear that she was nervous about her upcoming performance. “Sooo I’m opening the show today,” Cardi wrote to her fans and followers. “And,” she admitted. “My anxiety is killing me.” That is a great reminder that part of Cardi's enduring popularity is that she is deeply relatable. “Wish me luck guys,” Cardi concluded, adding: “BET AWARDS!” Offset marched out onto the stage and performed. Comparing Offset's appeal and Cardi's is … wildly unfair to Offset, so we'll just skip right to Cardi's appearance. After Offset's male dancers (and the cameras) provided a distraction, the men pull back. We see Offset seated in a chair and receiving one hell of a lapdance from his gorgeous wife. Now, it's Cardi's turn to perform, rapping and singing to the camera. All the while, she's sitting and grinding upon her husband. As you watch Cardi's incredible skill as she performs, keep in mind that Cardi once did this professionally. Now, she's integrating those skills into a truly stunning performance. The camera orbits as she straddles Offset, giving the audience a taste of what she's offering up. Then, she turns around and undulates her body in a sinuous motion while facing the audience. The result is spectacular. Then, of course, she sings, and it's a great performance. We're sure that Offset, wherever he was at this point, was giving her a standing ovation. Cardi had a busy night, but she still made time to tweet — and even to respond to fans. “Someone said Offset out-danced you,” one fan tweeted at her. The Twitter denizen used a pair of laughing emojis to correctly convey the absurdity of that comment. Cardi replied, and she found a very on-brand way to sidestep having to insult her husband. She quote-tweeted the fan's words, writing: “But let’s see who going to K.O first after sex tonight tho ?” Cardi kind of opened herself up to jokes about how she apparently used to drug and rob men, there. However, she also tweeted about what a good night she was having despite her anxiety. “I finally met taraji !!!!!!” Cardi exclaimed with glee. “The universe was trying to stop the link -___-” She also gave the overall experience a glowing review. “The @BET awards was so lit,” Cardi announced. “Everybody turn the f–k up from Beginning to End.” Of course, not all of Cardi's weekend was filled with fun … or filled with Offset . See, a grand jury voted to indict her for that Cardi-beatdown she allegedly ordered against a pair of strippers she accused of hooking up with Offset. It turns out that ordering your goons to attack a woman not once, but twice is a crime. Cardi may be rich, but money can only go so far when it comes to getting a famously hot-tempered person out of trouble with the law.
Source: Slaven Vlasic/Getty Images Exclusive Brian Tyree Henry Interview Brian Tyree Henry isn’t a rapper but he plays one on TV–a very relatable and refreshingly complex rapper with a burgeoning career who steals scene after scene (after scene) on critically-acclaimed hit show “Atlanta.” And that’s only one of several power moves for the Emmy AND Tony-nominated North Carolina native currently having an enviable Hollywood run that started with Oscar-worthy masterpiece “If Beale Street Could Talk,” continued with Oscar-winning dazzler “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” and carried over into 2019 with several eye-catching roles headlined by “ Joker ” and… “Child’s Play???” Yep, a next-level Chucky movie that we couldn’t wait to ask him about during the “Child’s Play” press day where we talked (and laughed) about everything from killer doll nostalgia to Black folks in Horror movies to Rihanna in our fave interview of 2019. Let’s get into “Child’s Play”–what were your first thoughts when you realized you were playing a cop in a Chucky movie? “Actually when I got the script it didn’t say “Child’s Play” on it… so I started reading it and the story was pretty damn good. It was a really cool read. And then I saw the name Chucky and I was like ‘Yo…nahhh, there’s no way..’ because I’m like a Horror movie freak–I LOVE Horror movies, it’s my favorite genre and when I got to Chucky I was like ‘Oh sh*t, this has gotta be the new Chucky’ so then I looked at my character and was like ‘oh wait, hold up, this character is actually really brave because, you know , being Black in a Horror movie they don’t really give us good characters–we’re the first people to get killed in the first three minutes of the movie… But in this movie my character Detective Mike Norris is very smart, very charismatic, is really humorous, and literally the relationship he had with his mom, and his relationship with Andy were very important to me and so I was like ‘ok cool, there’s actually a character here’ *laughs* it was something that really attracted me to it. And at the end of the day, I remember when “Child’s Play’ came out in 1988 when I was 6-years-old.. I literally remember the Christmas it came out and, at the time, there was this doll called “My Buddy” and people were going into the store and fighting over these things, man, and it was on the news and I was just like ‘I’m never gonna get one of these dolls’ and as soon as this movie came out everyone threw them away so all that consumerism you were going through to get this doll, once this movie came out it shut the doll’s sales down… and that’s kinda why I like Horror movies because there really is a commentary on the social dynamics we live in.. It really turns the mirror on you to make you confront the things we’re actually afraid of in our real lives and that’s us as a society sometimes. So once I saw this was coming my way I jumped at it because I’ve always been a huge fan of this franchise and Chucky was such a part of my life growing up and I really just liked the retelling of the story they were doing and was like ‘this is actually really fresh and really relevant to today’ because instead of it being a serial killer dropped into a doll as it used to be.. this is like an artificial intelligence… it really is programmed to know everything about your life–like, everything –there’s an upgrade you can download and that’s way more terrifying–that, to me, is way more terrifying that there’s this doll that has access to your entire life. It’s still learning and growing–you’re gonna find yourself actually caring about Chucky–I’m not gon’ lie–I was surprised.. I was like ‘I actually like this dude, I really want him to win out here’ and I really just thought that was fun. It’s been so long since we’ve had a fun Horror movie. That was one of my favorite experiences about going to the Horror movies where I grew up is like, you know, if we’re in a theater full of Black people watching a Horror movie, we are gonna talk sh*t. We’re gonna say how we feel *laughs* and when I saw this I was like ‘Oh my God, this is a callback to one of those movies where you have to have that commentary. You have to clap and celebrate–it’s fun! And I was just really happy to be apart of something like that because that’s kinda what I knew and I’m a big nerd when it comes to this so… it was like me being a kid in a candy store” We realized the legendary Mark Hamill (who played “Luke Skywalker” in the “Star Wars” saga and voiced the Joker in “Batman: The Animated Series”) was voicing Chucky and were like ‘Whoa WHOAAA’ so what was that like for you–a big nerd? “Everything I’ve been doing in my career, honestly, is my inner-nerd just losing its mind and I think that’s why I take the things that I do because I think about myself being that 13-year-old kid at my locker and thinking about what kinda pictures I would’ve taped on the inside of my locker–all of the things I’ve done so far would’ve been in my locker *laughs* so having “Child’s Play” be that other little thing–that other little piece, right there–is great and then Mark Hamill, man, I’m gonna tell you something: the emotion that he brings to Chucky and the wonder he brings to Chucky and the sinisterness he brings to Chucky is really unbelievable and I think that’s why you feel for Chucky the way you do because of him” You got Joker, you got this, you had Spider-man [Into The Spider-Verse]–did you see yourself getting into your lane so fast in your career? No! I still try to act like I don’t see that because I don’t ever want it to take away that kind of joy, that kind of wonderment of what I do. It makes me very happy and I don’t ever wanna get to a place where I’m just like ‘Ohh, you know, tick that box, tick that box, tick that box, because there’s an endless array of boxes to tick for me” How did your experience at an HBCU—Morehouse College–shape your journey (and perspective) in Hollywood? I think that–not just Morehouse in it of itself–but the city of Atlanta shaped that for me because I moved there when I was 18 and I didn’t really start getting into theatre arts until my second semester sophomore year but it was something I’ve always done even in high school I was doing speech and debate and it was always an escape for me because the plays I was told to read or the plays we were given as assignments never had characters that reflected people who looked like me. You could give me Chekhov all day, you could give me Henrik Ibsen all day, but nothing is saying I could be this young dude in Russia so, for me, it was an escape. It was fun to play these parts and run around pretending to be these men in society I was told I’ll never be because of where I’m from and because I’m Black. So, at the end of the day, when I got to Morehouse here I am looking to my left and to my right seeing other people who have the same passion as I do but then I’m also in a city where I’m looking to my left and to my right and everyone looks like me and everyone’s excelling in the same way and the city is giving me space to be who the hell I am– Atlanta literally shaped me into the person I am today and it’s because I saw in a place like that endless possibilities for us as Black people–like, endless –are you telling me I can own a store? We all got our own neighborhoods? Like, what do you mean??? So, for me, it kinda revolutionized how I saw my self within this genre and made me feel like there was nothing couldn’t do and then, here I am, in “Child’s Play” playing this detective that you actually give a damn about…that was icing on the cake” We saw you say that Rihanna made you cry and since we’re talking about Atlanta–where would you take Rihanna in the city if yall were hanging out? What would yall do? “OK, alright! I’ve actually got a chance not too long ago to meet Rihanna–I went to the Gold Party… Rihanna came up to me with open arms–she was like ‘I’ve been watching you, I’m so proud of you, thank you for giving Fenty all the love’ because I’m always reppin like ‘Yo, Fenty Beauty is the bomb, everybody needs to support Rihanna’ and as I’m going in for a hug I break her drink–I drop her drink out of her hand–and I was like ‘are you kidding me? How could you do that?’ and with such grace and poise, as Rihanna does, she’s like ‘no-no-no, don’t worry about it, it’s just a drink, what are you drinking?’ AND THEN SHE GOES TO GET HERSELF A DRINK AND ME A DRINK… So then I’m trying not to cry again but it’s that kinda thing–my inner-nerd–like of course, I made her drop her drink but it was still–I learned a lot about myself *laughs* But yea, there’s nothing greater than to see people from your generation killin’ the game. I feel like I’ve gotten to my rise watching her–like, watching us all excel in this way and its just pride, man. It really just makes me proud but I still broke her drink, though” Is there anything you can tell us about Season 3 of Atlanta? “Thaaaat, it will be back next year *laughs* but know that we’ll be coming back for sure” “Child’s Play” in theaters now!

Dean McDermott is many things: Broke. Annoying. Desperate for attention. But he’s also something else: A rather well-known cheater. The reality star left wife Mary Jo Eustace for Tori Spelling — and then stepped out so many times on his second wife that he once checked into rehab for sex addiction. ( Editor’s Note : There is no such thing as sex addiction. Some lonely, insecure people may need companionship in some sort of pathological fashion… but one is addicted to the act of sex. That’s ridiculous.) “I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I’ve caused my family,” McDermott said in a statement in early 2014 after admitting to at least one affair. He added at the time: “I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. “I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves.” That was way back then. Now? McDermott is still largely known for the many affairs he’s carried out, a reputation he appears to have accepted long ago. He can’t change it; nor can he change his part behavior, as much as he prays he could. “I really, really wish that I had been given the knowledge of think with your head, not your penis, because I did a lot of thinking with my penis,” the 52-year-old confessed to co-hosts Adam Hunter and Nicky Paris on the first episode of the “Daddy Issues” podcast. After Hunter and Paris spoke honestly about the guidance their respective parents provided them with over the years, McDermott said this wasn’t the case for him. He that his dad didn’t really give him “any advice” at all, adding that he learned “how to be a man” on his own. “I got three older sisters … lost my mother when I was 15, she passed away, and then Dad wasn’t around,” McDermott explained, crediting his son from his marriage to Eustace, Jack, for teaching him great deal. “Having a kid the first time was what really taught me how to be a parent… “As far as being a father, I sort of learned as I went along. … I made a lot of mistakes, but learned a lot. Six kids later, I’m still making mistakes.” One shouldn’t need to have a stable upbringing to know that one should not sleep with someone who is not one’s spouse. But fair enough, we suppose, Dean. His marriage to Spelling has seemingly been on the verge of divorce ever since the stars got hitched in 2006. Yet still, here they remain. The two are the parents to many, many kids: Liam, 12, Stella, 11, Hattie, 7, Finn, 6, and Beau, 2. Back in December of 2013, Us Weekly broke the news that McDermott cheated on the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress with then 28-year-old Emily Goodhand while on location shooting Chopped Canada. The couple documented the aftermath of the scandal for two seasons on Lifetime’s True Tori. So at least they got some ratings and a few storylines out of the scandal. And McDermott said on this podcast that the couple also grew closer after they overcome his unethical actions. “It’s so not about the person you’re with,” McDermott said about cheating in general, concluding: “For me, it wasn’t about [Tori]. It was about inadequacies in myself, I felt so bad about myself, I felt like a piece of sh-t, I needed to do that to feel some kind of power. “It was horrible and I’m an asshole, piece of sh-t for doing it, [but now] our relationship is better than ever. “That was a rough Christmas, we came out the other end.”
Depending on your point of view, Kourtney Kardashian has either figured out how to co-exist and co-parent with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick… … or she’s totalluy deranged. And maybe even still in love with the polariazing Lord . The main focus of Sunday’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians centered on the recent trip Kourtney took to Mexico not just with Scott and not just with her three kids — but with Sofia Richie as well. (By recent , of course, we mean in December. This season appears to truly have been filmed AGES ago.) Kris Jenner was confused and concerned over this vacation, especially after Disick shared a photo (below) of himself, Kourtney and Sofia all just lounging around a pool in Cabo. What the heck is going on , she asked Kourtney upon the latter’s return. “We honestly had the best time,” Kourtney said with a smile when confronted on air by her mother, clearly enjoying the response. But this only made Jenner more anxious to get some answers. “The fact that you have Scott’s girlfriend on vacation with you, or you’re on vacation with them or he’s on vacation with the two of you…I don’t know what’s going on!” Jenner cried, asking the mother of three for more information. Please . “He was gonna take them anyways,” Kourtney said simply about Disick and the three kids they share. “So I’m like, do I want to go and experience it with them? Or do I want to stay home? I get FOMO so I’m like, I don’t want to miss out on this with my kids.” Sounds perfectly sane and logical, right? But where does everyone sleep, Kris wondered. Kourtney explained that she had a three-bedroom villa for her and Mason, Reign and Penelope; while Scott and Sofia had their own accommodations. Kris labeled the entire thing as “wild,” but Kardashian basically shrugged it all off. “I know that we don’t have to travel together and I don’t think that we will take every trip together, but it was totally not awkward,” Kourtney told the camera, adding: “I feel like we are doing our best to make everything feel super normal for the kids…So, I think as long as we’re all OK with it, I think it’s really amazing to be able to all travel together.” Kardashian and Disick really do seem to be soulmates of a certain kind , huh? Elsewhere on this episode, Kim took over planning and hosting duties for the family’s annual Christmas party. Much to her mother’s chagrin and, eventually, much to her own. “It’s turned into such a sh-t show,” she vented to Khloe and her grandmother. The KKW beauty founder insisted the event had taken a turn for the much worse because the invite list had deteriorated over the years, ballooning to include “people we don’t know.” She then got really upset when Caitlyn Jenner asked to be invited. How should she respond, Kim asked, considering the tension that has existed between Caitlyn and her family ever since the release of Caitlyn’s memoir , which sort of trashed the Kardashians? Shortly after Kim invited Caitlyn to the gathering, controversy erupted when Khloe insisted the invite was a mistake. When Kim insisted she was trying to “make peace” with the former Olympian, Khloe shot back: “Do we care about Caitlyn’s peace when she’s never cared about ours?” Okay, fine, Kim confessed: “I made a big fcking mistake.” Khloe then pressured Kim to actually disinvite Caitlyn. Eventually, though, Kris insisted that the invite stand, saying: “I promise you. I’m fine. Just let it go. Vodka’s my friend.” The party was later held and it went very well. Those in attendance included Sia, Jennifer Lopez, Kathy Griffin, John Legend, Paris Hilton… and even Jordyn Woods . She stopped by alongside Kylie Jenner, mere weeks before her infamous makeout session with Tristan Thompson. Keeping Up With The Kardashians airs on E! Sundays at 9/8c.
