Sam Ashgari: Cheating on Britney Spears Already?!

It’s been less than two months since we first learned that Britney Spears is dating Sam Ashgari , but it looks like this relationship may be even more short-lived than her last one. It seems Sam may have been cheating on Britney from day one, as he allegedly failed to disclose that he was already in a relationship. The accusation comes from Morgan Osman, former star of the Oxygen reality series Bad Girls Club, who claims that she and Ashgari were dating – until she realized he was two-timing her with Britney. Osman spilled the tea in a conversation with notorious gossip site The Dirty this afternoon. Just last week, Osman shared a photo of herself kissing Ashgari. She’s since deleted it, but she maintains that the pic was taken recently. “I have video and images of our REAL relationship. Britney he is using you,” Morgan told The Dirty today. “I don’t know why everyone is attacking me, Sam Asghari is the cheater. I feel sorry for Britney Spears, she seems like a good person.” The news will likely come as a shock to Spears, who just last week tweeted the above image of Ashgari, along with a caption reading, “Mad love for this one.” If the allegations are true, it’ll be the latest in a long line of romantic setbacks for Spears. Last summer she broke up with Charlie Ebersol  after just eight months of dating. Sources close to the couple say she was considering marrying Ebersol just weeks prior to the split. While the cause of the breakup remains unknown, insiders maintain that Ebersol was caught cheating on Spears. The situation was described as a devastating blow to her confidence, and being cheated on a second time would no doubt shake Britney to her core. Fans expressed excitement over her relationship with Ashgari, who was widely regarded as the stable “nice guy” sort that she’d been looking for all these years. Ashgari reportedly gets along well with Britney’s kids and has been a source of emotional stability for the singer, who’s struggled with anxiety and depression in the past. Perhaps Britney and her fans should have known that Ashgari was too good to be true. View Slideshow: 22 Boyfriends of Britney Spears

Stephen Colbert Brings Back Colbert Report Character for Obama!

Stephen Colbert is an absolute treasure. He always has been, he always will be, and we are so lucky to have him. He's great on the Late Show, of course, but most of us remember him most fondly as the ignorant but lovable conservative jackass from The Colbert Report. It's been a little over two years now the last episode of The Colbert Report aired, and the show has definitely been missed — can you imagine how incredible it would have been to have during Trump's campaign? But don't worry, friends: Stephen's still got us. Last night, on the very last day of Barack Obama's presidency, the very last peaceful day before the four-year reign of terror began, we got to see a little bit of the old Colbert. In a delightful little segment of “The Word,” Stephen broke down some key moments of Obama's presidency as only he could. He touched on Obama's work to repeal “Don't Ask, Don't Tell,” he brought up marriage equality and the death of Osama Bin Laden and the Affordable Care Act. The skit was titled “Thanks, Obama,” that classic, ridiculous slogan of Obama critics everywhere — and boy, did Stephen thank him. Check out the much-needed hilarity below:

John Hostetter Dies; Murphy Brown Actor Was 69

John Hostetter – a character actor best known for his time on the popular long-running sitcom Murphy Brown – has passed away at the age of 69. Hostetter’s family says he had been battling cancer for several years. In 60 episodes of Murphy Brown , Hostetter played John, the levelheaded stage manager of the fictional show-within-a-show, FYI. He racked up dozens of other and television credits over the years, including parts on  NYPD Blue , MacGyver , L.A. Law , ER , Family Ties , and G.I. Joe . His film credits include  Into the Night , Heartbreak Ridge , Beverly Hills Cop II , No Way Out and Leonard Part 6 , opposite Bill Cosby. Hostetter is also well-known to Muppets fans for his role in the cult favorite DVD Kermit’s Swampland . The Brooklyn native, who grew up in Hanover, Maryland, got his start on the stage. Hostetter reportedly wowed audiences in a 1971 production of Waiting For Godot , in which he co-starred with a young Christopher Reeve. But it wasn’t until 1988 that Hostetter rose to national prominence after being cast on Brown – one of the most popular and acclaimed sitcoms of its time. The show won’t be found in many syndicated markets these days, as its topical, political humor made it very much a product of its era. During its ten-season run on CBS, however, the series was regarded as a ground-breaking television achievement. A sitcom that skewered, with equal aplomb, the worlds of Washington and TV news, Brown helped paved the way for politically-charged scripted series, as well as left-leaning late night shows like The Daily Show and The Colbert Report . It’s difficult to overstate the show’s influence, and while he was never a principal cast member, Hostetter was a favorite amongst fans. While Brown ‘s political commentary helped it win over critics, the purely comedic scenes, of the variety that so often featured Hostetter, were essential to making a commercial hit. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Del Hostetter. Our thoughts go out to the actor’s family during this difficult time.
