Miley Cyrus Slams Taylor Swift’s Squad: I Hang With REAL People!

As a human being with functioning eyes and or ears, you’re probably already aware that  Miley Cyrus hosted the VMAs  last night, and she was every bit as outrageous and divisive as we had hoped. As expected, some hated on Miley , while others loved every minute of her manic pixie show. But regardless of your own feelings on last night’s spectacle, you’ve got to admit that it’s impressive that the girl still had energy left to stir up more drama this morning. Miley criticized Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” video  earlier this month, and now she’s at it again in a newly-released portion of her recent interview with The New York Times: “I’m not trying to be in the squad,” Miley said when asked about Taylor. “None of my friends are famous and not because of any other reason than I just like real people who are living real lives, because I’m inspired by them.” A subtle shot, but a shot nonetheless.  Miley went on to describe Taylor’s crew as a collective of “musicians, actresses, models, entrepreneurs,” before reiterating that she prefers the company of “real” people. This is an excerpt from the same interview in which Miley dissed Nicki Minaj , thus setting the stage for last night’s VMAs showdown . To recap: in the past 24 hours, Miley Cyrus has hosted the VMAs, released a surprise album, and perpetuated feuds with two of the biggest names in music. She can’t stop; she won’t stop.  View Slideshow: Miley Cyrus as VMA Host: Her Craziest Moments

Kim Richards: Sentenced For Drunk Cop-Kicking Incident!

Back in April, Kim Richards was arrested after drunkenly kicking a cop at the Beverly Hills Hotel. For a while, it looked like she might do prison time, particularly after Richards ditched rehab in order to attend her daughter’s wedding, and then failed to return to treatment. Today in an LA County courtroom, however, a judge took mercy on Kim and sentenced her to three years of probation, 52 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and 30 days of community service. The sentence originally required 30 days of community labor, which might’ve had Kim picking up trash on the side of the freeway. Kim’s lawyer argued that the 50-year-old reality star is unable to perform manual labor due to foot injury. The court gave her two weeks to provide medical documents to back up her claim. If she fails to do so, she might wind up rocking an orange jumpsuit along the 405. Kim was arrested for shoplifting from Target earlier this month. She has yet to stand trial for that allegation, so there might still be jail time in her future. The judge added one last stipulation before allowing Kim’s lawyers to enter their plea deal: She’s no longer allowed to set foot in the Beverly Hills Hotel. We think that’s probably for the best. Chris Breezy Taken Into Custody By U.S Marshals For Pre-Trial Hearings For D.C. Street Brawl

Team Breezy , pray for your boy. Chris Brown Taken Into Custody By U.S. Marshals He should have kept his hands to himself… According to People: Chris Brown is in federal custody, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Marshals confirms to PEOPLE, as the singer’s latest legal troubles move to Washington D.C. The federal authorities will transport Brown to the nation’s capitol for pre-trial hearings in an assault case, NBC News reports. Brown was in jail in Los Angeles after being ejected from a Malibu rehab facility on March 14 for violating the facility’s rules. The singer’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, had attempted Tuesday to block his transfer into U.S. Marshal custody, claiming that it would inhibit him from conferring with Brown prior to the trial, the Los Angeles Times reports. Geragos offered to transport the singer himself, but authorities removed Brown from his L.A. cell as the motion was filed, says The Times. The judge denied the request. Brown was taken to San Bernardino County jail, en route to D.C. Brown, 24, was on probation in October when he got into a fight outside of the W Hotel in D.C. and was arrested on a felony assault charge. The “Look at Me Now” singer had been sentenced to five years of probation, six months of community labor and a yearlong domestic violence class after being convicted for felony battery for the 2009 assault of Rihanna, his girlfriend at the time. Hopefully, Breezy will get right one day. Things can’t get much worse at this point.

Lindsay Lohan: Glitter Bombed Outside Court!

Lindsay Lohan received a warm welcome outside court today in the form of a glitter bomb. Police did not arrest the woman suspected in the shiny attack. The gold glitter was thrown at the 26-year-old as she made her way through the media swarm Monday … nearly 50 minutes late for her lying-to-cops trial. Ke$ha would be proud. Or appalled. We’re not sure. Lindsay Lohan Glitter Bombed Sheriff’s officials said that the glitter bomb might not rise to the level of a criminal offense; glitter has been thrown, harmlessly, at celebrities many times before. Also Monday, a man was removed from the courtroom for snapping a photo of the star. Never a dull moment with the recurring fiasco that is LiLo’s life. A Lindsay Lohan rehab deal was struck in lieu of jail time; she’ll spend three months there and do 30 days of community labor, plus 18 months of therapy. What do you think? Fair deal?   Fair enough. It’s on her to sink or swim. Not harsh enough! Lock her up! View Poll »

Chris Brown Wants Rihanna Restraining Order Lifted

Chris Brown is looking to get the restraining order against him lifted. It’s been in place since he pummeled Rihanna senseless prior to the 2009 Grammys. His lawyer, Mark Geragos, told Judge Patricia Schnegg that Brown did 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling and requested that the order be lifted . “It makes it difficult at award shows and such,” Geragos said. GOOD DAYS : Now other guys take and leak Rihanna topless pics . Shame . Judge Schnegg did not immediately grant his request but did suggest a modification of it, pending the approval of Rihanna’s attorney, David Etra. The decision to modify the restraining order will be filed in court at a later date. The judge did praise Brown again for his commitment, however. In fact, she was so pleased, she told Brown that he can come in “next time you’re in town” instead of scheduling a future progress report hearing. To date, Brown has done 581 hours of community labor and domestic violence counseling. Aside from the occasional Raz B feud , he’s been great. He remains on probation through mid-2014.

By Jayson Rodriguez Chris Brown Photo: Frazer Harrison/ Getty Images Chris Brown completed his domestic violence course on Monday, and the proud graduate posted a picture of his certificate on Twitter to share with his followers. The singer was sentenced to a domestic violence course in August 2009 after he reached a plea deal with Beverly Hills prosecutors in the wake of his conviction on charges of assault against then girlfriend Rihanna . Brown was required to take the once-a-week class for one year. The “Deuces” star was also sentenced to 180 days of community labor, placed on five years probation and issued a stay-away order from Rihanna. “I have enough self-respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this DV class,” Brown tweeted on Tuesday morning (December 21) about the end of his sentence. “Boyz run from their mistakes. Men learn from them!!! thx.” Just last month, Brown once again earned praise from the judge overseeing his case, Patricia Schnegg. “Of all probationers I’ve ever had, and I’ve had thousands of probationers, no one has ever done a better or more consistent job than you have,” she told Brown “And I really want to commend you for taking responsibility, and for actually working diligently to complete all of the things the court has required of you.” The singer is due back in court on January 28 for his next status hearing.
