Kim Kardashian’s much-anticipated selfie book Selfish (get it?!) won’t hit shelves until April, but we’ve got the description for you right here and it.is.hilarious. Unintentionally, of course. But still. The reality star’s book features NEVER BEFORE SEEN self-portraits from her “her early beginnings as a wardrobe stylist,” Rizzoli publishing boasts. It will also present, in all their epic glory, “some of Kim’s favorite selfies in one volume … from her favorite throwback images to current ultra-sexy glam shots.” Knock us over with a feather. The book description also kompares the Kim Kardashian sex tape star to none other than Marilyn Monroe. Seriously. The two are totally on the same plane. She’s “one of the most recognizable and iconic celebrities in the world,” having catapulted herself into the upper echelon of Hollywood, the publisher notes. “Hailed by many (including Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci) as the modern-day personification of Marilyn Monroe, Kim has become a true American icon.” “A new mom to her daughter, North, and happily married to the rapper Kanye West, Kim Kardashian is on top of the world,” the intro hype continues. 18 Kim Kardashian Selfies That Nearly Broke the Internet 1. Robert Downey Jr. Compliments Interviewer’s Breasts, Calls Feminism "Make Believe"

Even though Robert Downey Jr. welcomed a baby girl this week, the Iron Man icon has recently been expressing some views that are likely to make even the most forgiving of feminists cringe. The first incident occurred while RDJ was discussing the possibility of Scarlett Johansson appearing in her own Avengers spinoff film during a panel discussion at Cambridge University. Asked if he “believe[s] in feminism,” Downey replied, “You bastard. Yeah, that’s all make believe, son.” Tough to read that response. Downey’s a sarcastic chap and he could’ve just been having fun with the college kid crowd. The other incident, however, leaves little room for interpretation: British television personality Lorraine Kelly claims that prior to a recent interview with Downey, the actor “blurted out, ‘Nice tits.'” Kelly says she was shocked at first, but she proceeded with the interview and took the comment in stride: “It could have been worse,” she said in a recent interview. “He could have said, ‘Oh, I don’t like them!’ It’s a difficult thing to respond to.” Yes, whether Downey is photobombing fans or complimenting the breasts of a revered British journalist, he’s got a Tony Stark-like ability to say things that would get most men smacked and get a smile in response instead. Whether or not he should say things like that, well…that’s a different story. Hopefully he doesn’t try that crap with Gwyneth Paltrow on the Iron Man set. Robin Williams Suffered From Paranoia, Anxiety in Days Before Death, Coroner’s Report Reveals

Shortly after Robin Williams committed suicide back in August, rumors began to surface as to what may have caused the comedy legend to take his own life. Williams’ wife revealed that the actor suffered from Parkinson’s disease  just days after he was found dead, and it was widely believed that the diagnosis contributed to his tragic final decision. While it remains likely that Williams’ was in a distraught state as a result of his illness, a newly released coroner’s report reveals that there were likely several other factors negatively influencing his mental state as well. The report states that Williams was suffering from paranoia and extreme anxiety in the weeks before his death. His family became concerned with his erratic behavior, and the report details one recent incident in which Williams placed several wristwatches in a sock and gave them to a friend for safe keeping. The report also cites the various avenues investigators pursued while attempting to determine possible causes of Williams’ depression. Police apparently questioned his wife as to whether Williams had expressed an interest in autoerotic practices. She said he had not, but that he had been profoundly upset by a scene in the film World’s Greatest Dad in which his character’s son dies of autoerotic asphyxiation. The toxicology results included in the coroner’s report indicate that four drugs were found in Williams’ system, but two were prescribed anti-depressants and two were caffeine compounds. Williams had checked into rehab several times throughout his life, but family and friends have confirmed that he was several years sober at the time of his death. Sad news to report today… Robin Williams Found Dead From Apparent Suicide In California Home Actor Robin Williams was found dead from an apparent suicide in his Tiburon, California home earlier today. He was 63. From the Marin County Sheriff’s Department: Via Gawker reports: On August 11, 2014, at approximately 11:55 am, Marin County Communications received a 9-1-1 telephone call reporting a male adult had been located unconscious and not breathing inside his residence in unincorporated Tiburon, CA. The Sheriff’s Office, as well as the Tiburon Fire Department and Southern Marin Fire Protection District were dispatched to the incident with emergency personnel arriving on scene at 12:00 pm. The male subject, pronounced deceased at 12:02 pm has been identified as Robin McLaurin Williams, a 63 year old resident of unincorporated Tiburon, CA. An investigation into the cause, manner, and circumstances of the death is currently underway by the Investigations and Coroner Divisions of the Sheriff’s Office. Preliminary information developed during the investigation indicates Mr. Williams was last seen alive at his residence, where he resides with his wife, at approximately 10:00 pm on August 10, 2014. Mr. Williams was located this morning shortly before the 9-1-1 call was placed to Marin County Communications. At this time, the Sheriff’s Office Coroner Division suspects the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia, but a comprehensive investigation must be completed before a final determination is made. A forensic examination is currently scheduled for August 12, 2014 with subsequent toxicology testing to be conducted. Williams’s publicist released a statement this afternoon confirming the actor’s death: “Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.” His wife, Susan Schneider, also confirmed the news: “This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin’s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.” Rest in peace to the legendary actor and condolences to his entire family!

Nancy Motes, Half-Sister of Julia Roberts, Dead of Apparent Overdose

Nancy Motes, the half-sister of Julia Roberts, was found dead in her apartment yesterday, according to a statement issued by her family. She was 37 years old. Motes was the daughter of the Oscar-winning actress’ mom, Betty Lou, and her stepfather, Michael Motes. Details surrounding Nancy’s death are unclear at this time, but the statement reads: “It is with deep sadness that the family of Nancy Motes … confirms that she was found dead in Los Angeles yesterday of an apparent drug overdose. There is no official report from the Coroner’s office yet. The family is both shocked and devastated.” Last week, of course, Philip Seymour Hoffman also died of an overdose. UPDATE : Lieutenant Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner has released the following statmnt: “Nancy Motes was found dead at a residence in the bathroom yesterday, pronounced dead by the LA Fire Department at 2:12 PM yesterday. Not sure whose residence it was. She was found in a bathtub that had water in it. We’re taking it as a suicide, not a drowning. “She’s being examined today. We are waiting for the doctor to provide his findings. There were prescription and non-prescription drugs found at the scene. Cannot tell you what those drugs were. The role the drugs may or may not have played is not yet known. “The investigator at the scene listed at this point that he is going with suicide and we are waiting for the doctor to finish the examination. We haven’t gotten anything yet.”

This is so sad. Two Children And Their Mom Gunned Down By Stepfather In Murder-Suicide It’s so selfish for someone to take innocent lives because they don’t want to live anymore. According to NBC 4: Relatives discovered the bodies of four family members, including two children with multiple gunshot wounds, inside a Fontana, Calif. home after what appears to be a murder-suicide. Police obtained a search warrant overnight and are continuing the investigation Tuesday morning at the home in the 7300 block of Palmetto Avenue. Authorities received a call from a 16-year-old boy who said his family members had been injured or possibly killed in the house, according to Fontana police Sgt. Doug Imhof. “We located four bodies, two children, a female about 12 years old, a male about 10 years old, a female victim adult 35 to 40 (years old) and a male about the same age,” Imhof said. “It appears as though they all lived there.” The victims were identified as 38 year-old Ramon Miranda, 34 year-old Silvia Miranda, 10 year-old Rayna Miranda, and 12 year-old Ramon Miranda Jr., according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office. Family members at the scene said the four bodies were that of a family, including a father, mother and two children. Police said more than one weapon was found inside the home. Silvia, Rayna and Ramon Jr. suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to police. The man, Ramon Miranda, suffered a single gunshot wound to the head, police said. R.I.P. Paul Walker’s Cause Of Death Revealed

More information on what is already very upsetting news . Paul Walker’s Cause Of Death Revealed It’s sad he took a ride in his favorite car with a friend and never returned. Prayers go out to his family. According to TMZ: Paul Walker died from the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries sustained from the Nov. 30 car crash … this according to the L.A. County Coroner’s Office. Translation — Paul did not die from the impact of the crash alone. He burned to death after the Porsche GT crashed into a tree and a pole and exploded into flames. The man who was driving the Porsche GT, Roger Rodas, died from multiple traumatic injuries suffered upon impact. Burning was not listed as a factor in his death. The coroner says toxicology results for both men will be available in 6 to 8 weeks. The Medical Examiner says both deaths have been ruled as an accident. Sources in the coroner’s office tell us … both men were positively ID’d by using dental records. Walker and Rodas were killed Saturday in Santa Clarita, CA when the Porsche GT they were in veered off the road, slammed into a pole and exploded in flames. The cause of that crash is still under investigation. Paul was 40. Rodas was 38. This is still so hard to process. He will truly be missed. WENN

Brittany Murphy’s Body May Be Exhumed in Light of Poisoning Revelation

Officials from the L.A. County Coroner’s office may exhume the body of actress Brittany Murphy in light of recent reports about her death, but have not. Yet. Brittany Murphy to Be Exhumed? Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter says he has not been “presented with … the toxicology reports Brittany Murphy’s father (Angelo Bertolotti) had done.” “If there was an indication her death wasn’t from natural causes, we would probably exhume the body,” says Winter, adding that it’s not his call alone. “Her father could also have the body exhumed privately, without a court order.” Winter said if the coroner was to exhume the star’s body under the belief that Brittany Murphy was poisoned , his office would in fact need a court order. Fingernails and more hair samples could be available if the body is exhumed. In 2010, the Coroner concluded Murphy’s death was an accident caused by a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and “multiple drug intoxication.” A report commissioned by Murphy’s father possibly revealed otherwise. Brittany Murphy Cause of Death: Poison? The presence of heavy metals in Brittany it says, were “2-9 times higher than the levels identified by the World Health Organization as being considered ‘high.'” Her husband, Simon Monjack , died months later, also under suspicious circumstances. Heavy metals are commonly found in rat poison and insecticides. Addiction specialist Dr. Damon Raskin tells Fox News that he examined the findings and found the “results seem very suspicious for foul play.” “Other than lab error, there is no other good medical explanation for these abnormal levels … therefore, some type of poisoning is clearly a possibility.” L.A. physician Dr. Shilpi Agarwal said it was unlikely that Murphy had this in her system without being given supplements or unintentionally ingesting them. However, forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden said the results were “interesting, but not evidence of foul play .” He offered an alternate theory. “The grouping of heavy metals is more suggestive of hair product use – dyes, soaps, heat, etc. – than of rat poison,” Baden said, so it’s still unclear.
