Kate Gosselin blindsided her former husband Jon Gosselin with a multi-million-dollar hacking, wiretapping and identity theft lawsuit earlier this summer. Now he’s hitting back with a motion to dismiss what he calls a “fishing expedition” by the mother of his eight kids against himself and Robert Hoffman. Kate Gosselin Suing Jon Gosselin The lawsuit accused Jon and Hoffman, who penned an anti-Kate tell-all, of illegally accessing her computer, email, and bank accounts, which they deny. Jon says her complaint “consists of little more than threadbare recitals of” her many accusations, and little in the way of explanation of what he allegedly did. Claiming that Kate did not provide “sufficient factual allegations to demonstrate” the truth of her claims, the documents say that her complaint “is too vague.” Specifically, she did not say which computer / online accounts were hacked, when they were accessed, or how information needed to do so was obtained. Kate Gosselin’s lawsuit , her former spouse claims in the new court documents, is “pure speculation, a fishing expedition, and should be treated as such.” Kate Gosselin: I Pity Jon! Perhaps more importantly, according to the documents , Kate decided to make these claims after the statute of limitations had passed, Jon believes. She first publicly mentioned suspicions that Jon was accessing her personal information in 2009, and the statute of limitations for such claims is two years. “Now, nearly four years later, [Kate] has apparently determined that the time is right [to sue] but it is too late,” the documents filed by Jon Gosselin allege. Finally, according to the motion, if Kate wishes to sue for violation of privacy, she must admit that the allegations found in Robert Hoffman’s book are true. Kate has called the book “defamatory and untrue,” so, the motion argues, she “disproves her [own] claim.” In other words, she can’t have it both ways. A judge has yet to rule on the motion.

Jerry Sandusky’s Adopted Son Changing Family’s Name After Penn State Sex Scandal Via ABCNews A son of former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky is seeking to have his name changed more than a year after his adoptive father was convicted of child sexual abuse. Matt Sandusky filed papers Tuesday in Centre County Court seeking to have the names of him and his family changed. Though the documents are sealed, they show he filed for a name change, along with his wife and four children. Matt Sandusky had been expected to be a defense witness until the trial, when he told investigators that he also had been abused by Jerry Sandusky. Jerry Sandusky was convicted on 45 counts of sexual abuse. He is serving a 30- to 60-year prison sentence and maintains he was wrongfully convicted. He is pursuing appeals. We don’t blame you playa, we’re actually surprised it took you this long!

Couple Ties Child To Baby Gate According to Examiner Police in North Carolina are accusing two parents of intentionally inflicting pain and abusing their 4-year-old daughter. In a heartrending story of ill-treatment and neglect of a helpless child, authorities in Raleigh, N.C. have arrested 26-year-old Gerald Thomas Swinehart, and 28-year-old Marianne Victoria Coffey, and have accused the couple of using plastic zip ties to bind their 4-year-old daughter’s wrists and ankles to a baby gate, according to Raleigh authorities. The zip ties these so-called parents thought appropriate for a child are the plastic ties used by electricians to bundle wires. Police use them as well at times in lieu of handcuffs. Investigators also said Swinehart pushed or kicked the child so hard that her lower teeth broke through her lower lip. Arrest warrants obtained by The Associated Press indicate these incidents occurred in February and March, but the documents did not say if the parents had made this an ongoing practice of abuse or if it happened one time. In either case, cruelty to this degree of a child is a nauseating thought, and reflects the ills of some slapdash parents. Swinehart is charged with two counts of intentional child abuse and inflicting serious physical injury. Coffey is charged with one count. The father is being held under $100,000 bond. The child’s mother faces one count and is being held under $50,000 bond. Their child, whose name was not released, was taken into the custody of social services on March 31. Wow. They punched the kid so hard her teeth came loose? Sick people often take out their frustrations on their children because they did not want children in the first place. They need help.
You cannot possibly be serious… Phoenix Man Kills Wife And Son Because He Thought He Gave Them AIDS Via PhoenixNewTimes Eugene Maraventano, a 64-year-old Goodyear resident, told police this weekend that he stabbed his wife and son to death and failed to kill himself after multiple tries over the course of the next four days. “I killed my wife and I killed my son; I can’t kill myself,” Maraventano told a 911 dispatcher, according to court documents obtained by New Times. Maraventano told the dispatcher that he stabbed them both to death and added that his wife had cancer, according to the documents. Police arrived at the house and found Maraventano covered with blood and with wounds to his chest. He was taken to a hospital, and police found the bodies of his wife and son in different rooms of the house. Maraventano was interviewed at the hospital, where he started by saying he used to live in New York, where he “frequented with prostitutes.” He thought he may have contracted HIV or another disease and passed it on to his wife, Janet. Janet started to get sick recently, so Maraventano thought his wife might have had cancer or possibly something he gave her. Since tests showed she didn’t have cancer, that only left one option, in Maraventano’s mind — though it’s not clear why he told the dispatcher that his wife had cancer. Of course that is the only logical answer…SMH Maraventano said he made the decision to kill his wife about two weeks ago. He’d debated using a knife or buying a gun. He settled on the knife, even though, he said, he’s “not a violent person,” according to court documents. Four days earlier, while his wife was sleeping, he finally acted, stabbing her twice, he said. Maraventano also decided to kill his son, Bryan, because he “plays video games all day, has no girlfriend, and must be handicap[ped] because he can’t get a job.” Maraventano went down the hallway and knocked on Bryan’s door. The idea stems from their recent trip to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC; to the Duggars, abortion is itself a holocaust. “A couple of weeks after we went to the Holocaust Museum it dawned on us that there is a holocaust taking place right here in America!” the Duggars wrote. “More than 56 million lives have been destroyed in our country! That is over 4,000 babies being killed and 4,000 women being wounded each day!” “We talked and prayed about what our family could do to make a difference in saving the lives of the unborn. We ended up contacting the national pro-life groups.” “We asked them to all work together and pool their incredible resources to motivate and activate many people to get involved in ending abortion in America.” The Duggars called Dan Pennell, CEO of WMtek, a Fort Pierce, Fla., based web development company, who immediately caught the vision, Jim Bob said. Working with Jim Bob and Mathew Staver of Liberty Counsel, Dan formed the coalition of pro-life groups that has become what is now Life United. Kris Humphries does not have much of a leg to stand on in his Kim Kardashian divorce case. Also, he does not have Herpes. In response to a long-ago lawsuit filed by Kayla Goldberg – in which she accuses the Nets power forward of slipping her the STD during a round of unprotected sex – Humphries has reportedly supplied evidence to confirm he is, in fact, clean. According to TMZ, the documents were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court. They do not deny that a sexual tryst took place between Humphries and Goldberg , but they do offer proof that a Herpes text taken AFTER the hook-up came back negative. Humphries is now hoping a judge will dismiss the lawsuit, sort of akin to how we all wish we could dimiss Kris Humphries from our lives.
