Source: Bennett Raglin / Getty Tommie Lee Indicted On Child Abuse Charges It’s been a few months after her initial arrests, but ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ star Tommie Lee has been officially indicted on multiple child abuse charges in Georgia. TMZ reports that they obtained the indictment filed by the state of Georgia and the details are horrifying. According to the paperwork, Tommie Lee went to her young daughter’s middle school this past October and allegedly disrupted the class, slapped her daughter on the hands with her purse strap, slapped her across the face, dragged her down the hall by her hair and threw her into a metal locker. Tommie faces 7 charges in the indictment, and 3 of ’em are felonies. The rest are misdemeanors. If she’s convicted on all seven, prosecutors say Tommie could be locked up for up to 54 years. It’s been quite an interesting few months in the life of Derick Dillard. It all started, of course, when Derick got fired by TLC after harassing transgender teen and fellow network star Jazz Jennings in a bizarre Twitter tirade. Derick issued an explanation for his remarks that he probably thinks qualifies as an apology, but fans weren’t buying it, and most seemed happy to see him go. Earlier this week, Derick doubled down on his homophobia by promoting a speaking engagement by a pastor who became famous for his support of the abhorrent practice of conversion therapy. It briefly seemed that Derick had taken an “in for a penny, in for a pound” approach to his own bigotry and decided that since he’d already been fired from TLC, the time was right to rebrand himself as a far-right firebrand. Today, however, something interesting occurred on Derick’s Twitter page. “I want to personally invite any LGBTQ person & anyone else who would like to come with my family and me to church next Sunday. See you there!” Derick tweeted. These days, it seems that Derick is supporting his family almost entirely through monetary donations from fans , so many were suspicious that the tweet was simply a publicity stunt or part of an effort to rebuild his image. But some expressed an interest in taking him up on the invitation. One woman identified herself as an atheist and asked if it was okay for her to attend services with Derick and his family. The former reality star astonished many Duggar fans when he responded, “Absolutely!” Some expressed outright shock that Derick would invite someone whose beliefs are so different from his own into his house of worship. The mini-controversy comes on the heels of reports that Derick’s wife, Jill Duggar, had turned her back on her beliefs due to an Instagram post in which she revealed that she’s reading a book with sections addressed to those who are questioning their faith in God. In the end, however, it turned out there was really nothing to either scandal. Jill was simply offering support to those whose belief had wavered, while Derick is apparently hoping to convert some non-believers, which is actually one of the expressed duties of Independent Baptists. Jenelle Evans has done all sorts of wild and disgusting things during her time on Teen Mom 2 , but thus far, no one has accused her of full-blown child abuse. Obviously, many folks claimed that Jenelle is a negligent parent . And more than a few have accused Jenelle of physical assault , but never against a child. However, it now looks as though Ms. Evans will be forced to answer from some mighty serious allegations coming from none other than her former fiance, Nathan Griffith. The news of the latest dispute between the parents of 2-year-old Kaiser comes to us courtesy of The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. According to the site, there many fans expressed concern in connection with a photo Jenelle posted over the weekend. The image shows Kaiser at the beach, and the boy appears to have some dark bruises on his arm. Some of Jenelle’s followers stated their belief that they’re the kind of bruises that might be caused by grabbing a child forcefully. It’s important for us to point out that we are no way implying that Jenelle or her fiance, David Eason, have in any way behaved in an abusive fashion toward any of the children in their care. But some folks on social media had no qualms about doing a LOT more than implying. Many outright accused Jenelle and David of abuse, and it seems Nathan very understandably became concerned. “If anyone dared lay a physical hand on either one of my kids, it would be hell on earth real freaking quick! # treadlightly # definitionofDADDY,” Griffith tweeted. Yes, Nathan sounds pissed. But there’s more than one way to interpret that tweet. He could be assuring fans that he has no reason to suspect Jenelle or David, and if he ever did, the hell on Earth would ensue, and whatnot. Or maybe he’s attempting to publicly call Jenelle out. If that’s the case it probably won’t be long before he does so in a more formal setting. Kate Gosselin is about a million different kinds of terrible. It’s not new information, sure, but that doesn’t make it any less true. And if you really feel the need for new information about Kate’s wickedness, well, be careful what you wish for. You know that story about how Kate’s allegedly being investigated for child abuse ? It all started with her son, Collin — the one she sent off to a treatment center to deal with his “special needs.” According to an insider, “Collin said something to the facility’s staff and it was reported to the Children and Youth Services, which started an official probe.” “The police later notified Collin’s dad, Jon, that a child abuse investigation was opened.” When we first heard about the investigation, we thought it was a little odd that Jon’s been so quiet about it all. After all, it seems like Jon’s favorite activity is publicly slamming his ex-wife , and good for him. But now we’re learning that the reason Jon hasn’t commented on the alleged child abuse investigation might be that he’s just too damn sad. “He worries every single day for his son,” a source reveals . “Jon used to have to grab Kate by her wrist to stop her from beating Collin and some of the other kids with a wooden spoon.” “He often had to stand between Kate and the kids to stop her from hitting them.” And that’s not the only new bit of information about the case. If all these allegations are true and Kate is convicted, she could be looking at up to seven years in prison. And oh, what we wouldn’t give for that TLC special … Of course, the idea that Kate could be the subject of a child abuse investigation isn’t exactly surprising. Who could forget those journal entries of hers that were so alarmingly made public? When Collin was just two years old, Kate wrote that she got “too rough” with him after he refused to sit in a corner. “I feel so guilty that I treated him like that,” she confessed. “I will set out tomorrow to be a better mommy.” Kate’s remorse apparently didn’t last too long, because a few months later, she lost her damn mind when Collin — still two years old, mind you — had the audacity to spill a bag of beans. “I was instantly so SO angry,” she wrote, “that I grabbed him and spanked him as hard as I could and thought I may seriously injure him so I sent him to his crib til Jon came home!” “I have never felt that I may seriously injure a child but today was that day!” Gee, wonder why Collin has some emotional issues? Couldn’t have anything to do with his miserable mother, could it?
Newly released surveillance video disproves a Georgia school’s initial claim that a 13-year-old student was able to walk after being slammed to the ground several times by a teacher–resulting in an amputation of the student’s right leg.
Brad Pitt is officially under investigation by the LAPD and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. This is not a drill. The star allegedly became verbally abusive and physical with his children, the agencies have learned, in an incident last week. That, not a random Selena Gomez photo or salacious Marion Cotillard affair , is what reportedly the final straw in his imploding marriage. According to TMZ, sources say this was the very incident that triggered Jolie to file for divorce from Pitt days after it happened. Pitt, Jolie and their six children were on a flight a week ago Wednesday when he is said to have gotten hammered on a private jet. Brad allegedly went wild , screaming and getting physical with the kids, far beyond the point of typical parent-child confrontation. The plane landed at an airport around 8 p.m., at which point witnesses claim Pitt took his rant outside the plane and onto the tarmac. He even tried leaving in one of the fuel trucks. As for how this became an official investigation? Sources say somebody, either on the plane or the tarmac, anonymously reported it. That’s all it takes for an incident to be looked into by the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services, or most state equivalents. It’s a real inquiry; Brad and Angelina have already been interviewed and DCFS plans to interview the kids as well as part of the case. Angelina Jolie Divorces Brad Pitt The investigation is ongoing, and the LAPD has the case, which is routine when anyone reports an allegation of child abuse. Whether it turns into anything is unclear, and unlikely, unless there’s surefire evidence of Brad being totally abusive and out of control. Yes, there have been rumors of Brad living on whiskey and drinking too much, but so much of what we think we know, we don’t know. We do not know the specifics of the alleged abuse, only that it was both verbal and physical and took place as described above. In the absence of hard proof, and/or Angelina or the children pursuing the matter aggressively, it’s doubtful Brad will be in any trouble. Doubtful, but not impossible. Stay tuned. She may have found her calling in adult entertainment, but Abraham still thinks that parental speak is where she thrives . Brandi Glanville invited Abraham on her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered , and what the Teen Mom star had to say about parenting styles and her troubled childhood is beyond inappropriate. Glanville brought up Abraham’s abusive past, which allegedly involved her parents, Debra Danielson and Michael Abraham beating her with a belt when she misbehaved. “That’s some of the therapy that we share and we go through,” Abraham told Glanville , according to Fish Wrapper . “I think there’s different parenting styles.” Abraham has her parents – who are now divorced – watch six-year-old Sophia when she’s away on business. When Teen Mom first aired, viewers watched as Abraham’s disastrous home life unraveled. “At that time we really didn’t [have a relationship] because of some of the abusive things that had happened. My parents got put into jail, both my mom and my dad. “My family and I have such a different dynamic now. We’ve talked through a lot of our abuse. Not everyone’s a perfect parent. “We do learn and we grow from that. I’m not trying to be harsh on my family because it does make them sad to think back about how they used to be and some of their choices. . . . Maybe keep some things to yourself, girlfriend.
